Sit, sleep and walk are on my wishlist for mount emotes; maybe threaten.

I usually have issue with bouncy mounts – raptors in WoW, Chocobos in FF14 for instance, but haven’t had any trouble with them in this game. I have motion blur turned off or down (can’t remember which), and keep the camera zoomed out when I can.

I love the raptor! And I love that you can dye them too! I love the idles, so cute and funny.

My only gripe that they are random. I’d love to be able to use /sit and /walk. It rather not have the shake and scratch idles be emotes though because people would just sit there and spam them.

I went in with a daredevil and had troubles (mostly because I wasn’t used to the class), went in with a dragonhunter and wiped the floor with the mobs.

Perhaps the issue with the setup isn’t the bad game design – something I have long criticised Anet for – but maybe you’re not doing something right?

I think it’s over due BUT I think there should be a limit per account.

lol there’s some older players that still don’t know what they are doing. The game really isn’t that hard that you can’t figure out how to play a boosted character. There’s so many guides and build sites out there.

I was excited when I saw the boost in there, now I just gotta wait ’til payday.

I’d love to have lore snippets in the vistas.

Yeah there’s nothing stopping you from running with pets/minions.

It’s the impulse buy strategy plus they are banking on you have little self-control when it comes to something that’s “limited time only”.

It’s about as shady as casinos preying on gambling addicts but it’s still legal.

I still think they would make more money over the long term if they would keep more things in there, or allow us to buy the outfits out of the tab in the character panel.

What story quest gives this?

I’ve been getting lag spikes and random disconnects ever since POF preorder.

I too want to chime in an fangirl about the new styles and faces! They’re all fantastic and beautiful. My only gripe, and it’s a tiny one, is all the new faces are rather light on the makeup.

I would have loved to have one that had cobalt blue lipgloss and eye shadow, or black makeup (necro!) or something besides the standard black mascara/eyeshadow and red lips.

I wondered if the site was going to get hammered on the day of the pre-order launch lol.

Good to know the BL shop is working though.

I kind of agree with this, but at the same time, the PS is pretty much optional. You are not story-gated from going to the other zones and doing the renown hearts and whatnot. I got one character up to the point where I could join the Whispers and then pretty much stopped doing the story. I’ll proby finish them up sometime later.

The PS from the human side would have been SO much better if they hadn’t caved under the “no canthan district” whining from NC Soft and we got the canthan/elonian/tyrian storylines instead of the very blah and uninteresting commoner/noble/street rat stories.

And that’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it. :P

I think the bobble heads was just a lazy gag… more people seemed to want the stick figures from GW1 to make a come back… but instead they just inflated everyone’s heads.

Johns first mistakes in this patch. I knew it had to come. It probably isn’t even for convenience, but jsut to nerf the gold existing in the market.

My personal economy lesson for John. Undue the repair change. Continu with scarlet alike npc’s. Currency + gold to get something. Selfless potion is like what, 500 armor repairs? Repeat these, and you will have more sink then the not so clever repair cost overhaul.

You can’t deplete something that is bottomless… the whole gold-sink scheme in mmos is flawed because of one thing:

In-game currency regenerates. By that I mean there isn’t a finite amount of gold in the game where once we hit the cap, the mobs stop dropping coins and the renown rewards dry up.

I could spend every last bit of money I have tonight, and then go out and farm the mobs, by tomorrow I could have the same amount back.

I started crying when I read that one. It feels worse when you realise you couldn’t save everyone in LA, and that maybe that child’s parents were among the ones you couldn’t save.

It seems to me like someone spent a lot of money on the cash shop in hopes that they would get a bunch of enamel dyes, and got a bunch of crappy common dyes no one buys (much).

I spent exactly 500 gems on the “enamel dyes” and got crap for my efforts, that was when I decided that it was a waste of money.

Please, no! I never wore an entire set and have no intention to. I paid for the pieces, not the whole.

But you DID pay for the whole set, you just happen to only use some of the pieces… I did say the tonics was still a bad idea… I just trying to give an optional way Anet could ease the pain of their impending face-plant.

It’s good that you are letting us hide pieces like shoulders and gloves and hat, since for some reason you still haven’t learned how to make hats that don’t auto-shave the character’s head lol. Even Lotro managed to do this years ago, and it’s older than GW2.

I’ve gotten two of these from BLchests, and since they are going to be useless soon, I think it would be nice if we could turn them in for Wardrobe charges.

The OP is talking about GEM STORE skins like the Magitech medium armour… not the in-game stuff.

From what it sounds like, you have to buy it, then use a transmute charge, and then it’s useable again by any other character.

Dyes used to be account bound, then for some reason (money grubbing I suppose) they made them character bound.

Either way I am not using stones anymore, and have a 20+ of the crystals.

I hope they give us charges for map completions and certain story rewards. Otherwise there’s no real incentive for doing map completes.

The same way we know that when a part of town is called Swamp Bottom (for example), and it’s neither the bottom, or a swamp, that it’s just a name someone gave it.

They could also put a grave marker there to indicate that a troll used to live there.

I said this to a friend last night. They must hate money, ‘cause if they put in armour/clothing items like the ones that the NPCs wear, I am sure they would be swimming in money. I don’t know how many have asked, but I am sure its a significant number since people have been wanting these styles since before launch.

Could we please have the option to have her “look” in the cosmetic kits (I don’t mean the hairstyle). There really isn’t a decent looking Canthan option… but I really like the way she looks.
