Hy,
Today a friend suggested to me in a Queen’s Pavilon run where I tried to get in his megaserver to use some kind of macros which would somehow help, but I’m not enterly sure if its fine to use. He said its only a macro what clicks instead of me but I dont wanna get into any trouble, so I thought I’d ask first o.o
I was wondering what ppl use for trying to gather the most chances in the shortest possible time.
I didnt really bother with it till now and I havent actually created a specific build of a given boss yet just tried to beat things depending on how they seem to be easier, tho these changes once i apply a couple gambit.
Anyhow I was wondering what you guys prefer to use and actually on what to gather chances.
It would be a tiny little bit too much to take auto attack and call it an exploit :x
Tho I dont do pavilon but I used to do that on some uselessly easy worldbosses (frozen maw for example). After so so so many kills I just drop a fireball at it with activating autoattack and I get a coffee
Buy orders were all suddenly dropped to the highest being 80g :P
Btw do we know what made some back piece shine less on the videos we saw here or in other threads?
Hy,
I’ve come back from around a year hiatus 2weeks ago, and after finally cleaning up on all my alts I found I got 7 of these boosters.
I was wondering if they can only be destroyed, or is there some way to change them for some other boosters like what happened with magic find gear pieces where I could get new stats on them.
You should change password of everything asap :| + it means most likely the hacker knows your email address, even tho cant get in yet.
This either suggests that you used the same email address somewhere where a hacker could guess its a possible gw2 acc mail address or they got something nasty on your pc.
I think you also should do some anti virus scan/spybot search.
Also when I had the same situation I put a mobile authentication on my acc. In the worst case if somehow a hacker could get my acc I hope at least that will not let them get in :x
Its kind of not true actually. I used to do it with 226/276 mf and I even got times when i barely hit 4-5g a hour. Once i had like 8rare with a lot of scales but that happened once…
Noob comes from newbie as far as I know which means inexperienced/doesnt know how to do something specific where the word is being used. Its kind of a negative opinion about the person who is called such.
Its nowhere as “bad word” as the ones which are censored/hars enough to be reported for. It would look kinda childish to make even this word reportable… Whats next, we all know what we mean when we say kitten so lets censor and report ppl for that too?
Hy,
I just upgraded to this budget cpu in this week and I was wondering if anyone has any experience (so actually uses one already for a while), how it performs with gw2?
I know that fx cpus are weaker with single core performance than intel i5-i7 cpus but I would like to know if anyone has this as well what one could get in case of pve events/wvwvw etc. Basically share your experience pls, ty
(ps, i hope I didnt creat this topic in the wrong place o.o tried to search for any amd fx cpu related topics but I either failed at that or just wasnt there any to find)
Do we know when this will come?
I’ve got all the lastest new pois, the 21th in divinity and from the living story the new ones in wayfaren and disease plat too, I got 100% in all maps/cities including wvw too.
I’m up to try anyone’s idea because I have no idea where this one could be o.O
You should try mobs at lvl70-71 too, my friend in the southsun event with its upscale took his lvl70 character to play there and he already got t6materials. And even tho the mobs were lvl80 u can only get drops to your lvl (like a lvl10 player will get t1-t2 materials), I assume that if you can get t6 at lvl70-71 these lvl mobs should drop them already.
What i dont understand is in what way does it benefit anet/ncsoft at all? I mean one of the most popular zone getting hammered like this will drive ppl off :/ that wont make them buy gems, this is just plain stupid move from them o.O.
It’s simple – less gold for players means they are inclined to get gold from gem converting.
People who farm aren’t going to buy gems. They’ll have enough gold to buy whatever they want.
I’m the perfect example. Spend around $1000 on this game until December. That’s when I started getting efficient in farming and making anywhere from 5g to 8g/h. I haven’t spent a single $ since.
But the problem comes from the fact that it made one of the most populated zone into a desert, so ppl will have 1 less place to take their new skin to which they bought for gems. I consider that more like something what makes ppl spend cash on the game, but u might have right :/
I personally am of the belief that the RNG is constantly manipulated…but on what basis I have no idea. If the odds were the same for every player every time, the inconsistent results that emerge would be statistically completely impossible.
Indeed, such as people claiming they got multiple exotics in less than an hour. Not saying its impossible… But that’s impossible. Seriously, normal mortals are lucky if they see one random exotic drop in a week even when farming. Yet here they apparently drop like candy… for some people.
GW2 is the most random I know of. Nothing make sense when it comes to loot.
Before they nerfed the skelk spot on my engi i could get 30-40exo in a longer period of time :P But these exos worth 40-50s max. while ur avarage exo doesnt go below 1-2g.

Funny that this spot is new to ppl :P what did u guys think why did the armored scale price dropped since SS event started?
Anyhow after skelk nerf I could see anet saying “its bugged too” and nerf it, but doesnt matter, I got my stacks.

Problem solved? Supply and demand is really a beautiful thing. Rising dust prices will entice people to play Orr more.[/quote]
Which was nerfed recently :p
Another farming spot nerfed is always good news.
Especially a repetitive do the same thing over and over spot – those ones really should get temp bans when exploited.
Sounds like a jelly troll who couldnt farm some nice spots in time :P dont worry, there are many yet ^^
Or you could notice what I’ve been saying since launch around here.
This game was meant to be played for the game, the actual content. The intrinsic rewards are what it is designed for.
If you want a progression based game where you need to gather all these shinies, go back to WoW where you belong.
I never played wow but I played already progression based game so u got a point there :P but then again saying that ppl who dared to kill the same thing many times within a set amount of time/area should be punished with ban made you sound to me like someone who is just angry ^^’ only following forum in the past ~2weeks so didnt read anything farm related post from you yet.
Anyhow nerfing something like the skelk spot was in SS is something ppl could know beforehead as it was just too good, but claiming that getting 4rare worth t5 materials in like a hour is exploit is just plain stupid ^^
Also its a stealth nerf, doesnt matter what it relates to, this is just bad.

Its kinda interesting tho, that if that got nerfed too, is it possible that somehow it relates to the skelk “nests”? Like maybe now all nest is nerfed to oblivion or it was just a ninja nerf for some reason?
Its just said about that actual skelk spot (not skale :P) that it was there for months, its just wasnt so well known and as there were even reasons to farm in SS (the 200% mf buff), its kinda funny that the nerf came at this time :P but that i can understand because u could make way too much money there than in any other places.
But then again its hard to believe that the only way to make these places less profitable is to nerf them to oblivion with somehow maybe nerfing other nests faraway from that zone (what the OP experiencing).
I’ve been playing a few mmorpgs already as I guess many of us might have, and I know that just like in rl there are always groups of ppl left unhappy if something happens but it must be clear to everyone that if everything just keeps getting nerfed, once it will be less funny even for ppl who dont like to farm. But as you said we cant help on that as we are not the ppl who decide to do these changes or not.
Its about these ppl only i believe, I used to run cof speedruns only if i get a 1-2 ppl i know somehow. Altho the worst I met so far was when we were waiting for some ppl to fill the party (used lfg site to get someone), and we were chatting for like a min. till someone showed up, and meanwhile we lost 2 ppl cause they said this is not a speedrun party :P
So ye, there are many elitists there, but there are more sides of this problem.
First of all cof is left as the best gold generation (now apart from tp workers), so ppl want to do them a lot as fast as possible, so if they cant they get angry. If there would be more options to get similar results (at least similar) it wouldnt be like this.
But then again, its just that group… most ppl arent like that.
Its kind of sad how you guys fight here on forum while everyone wants to just enjoy the game.
I somewhat understand that in this game nothing is a big effort to get(gear wise) or what takes some effort are not required for anything.
Now that means that even if ppl farm they might get it sooner but that wont hurt anyone, because the ppl who would want them gets the different materials cheaper cause there is more, and the ppl who are against farming (dont like it) wont care because they get it slowly/buy it slowly but for cheaper.
This is why I dont understand here, the only thing what can hurt a playerbase is the mentality whats pretty much agaist a type of playstyle. If ppl what to farm let them, now who will be hurt by the OP who got a few venom sac over a hour, no one. Yet the first response he saw was telling him off to leave if u dont like how we got things here, and thats rly bad. Worse than anything anet can do against players.
I got 5, opened around 150-200 not sure. I was mainly farming for 5-6 days at the nerfed skelk spot. Rng is funny tho, once i got 3 ticket out of 22 crate then i opened the rest and only found one more like a hundred later and the last in a crate i just got after killing a barracuda.
Only things tho which i consider good are the 3 kasmeer and 1 faren minis i got, i never wanted the ticket.
Anyhow all in all, even with the kitten drop rate at least in this event we could farm them (with the skelk spot mass farm, once i had 20 crate in 3 hours there), unlike for example fused tickets, where i spent over 100g on buying 50 keys and didnt get it.
Well this t6dust supply drop is a bad things but pretty easy to guess why this is happening. I usually dont like Vayne’s optimism and opinion about farming but about this he is right.
If ppl will be driven back into Orr to get dusts we will see the prices fall a bit back, but if not then we got our new most expensive t6 material. It kittens me too as I wasted 250 for mainly crafting cores into lodestones just before this price increase, but thats how things used to happen…
The day i got 2 kasmeer it was more than 9g/h it was good and fast but even I must admid (after using it for 1.5weeks) that it called for a nerf eventually.
But everything has a good side. We can rule that out that the 200% mf did all the work there in that 9g/h, and that spot was there since southsun came out. That means there are several spots like that, who knows where we just need to find them and better hide it before the nerf hits it :P
Well I guess gonna have to move on to another spot. Luckly they only nerfed 1 specific spot, still funny ^^
But np, soon there will be comments of ppl who will say that the 200mf wasnt meant for farmers :P
I doubt it will worth much more anytime soon, its too common and in the long term it has to stay popular too to make ppl want to buy them.
Wow, how did you loot so many crates?
Farm skelks, they die faster than karkas and there are places where groups of ppl farm them and if u are lucky u can get a lot (ofc its still rng as u might just get rares).
I had one of my worst luck today and after opening 28 crate at once (farmed all) i got 3 ticket :/ I have no idea what to do with them as I would love anything else, mainly some kasmeer minis.
I guess if ppl know what to farm its easy to gather 20-30crates a day which worths tons of gems while even if my case is pretty much rare makes it stupid to buy them with rl money.
Kinda understandable tho…anyhow we look at them these skins are nothing to the fused ones and for that matter I guess this is farmable.
