This is obviously Anet’s way of trying to get free advertising from their playerbase without actually doing any of the work on their end; likely either to compete with upcoming games soon to come out or trying to show that they care when we all know they really don’t give a kitten. Guys please don’t fall for this.

And there you have it Anet. JQ and TC outright admitting to match manipulation in your failure of a tournament. Are you still going to sit here and pretend that this is “really cool gameplay” then lock the threads again?

I’m excited for 2014… but not for GW2. As much as I’ve loved and supported Guild Wars over the years, I find myself extremely disappointed with Anet and how they’ve handled GW2 over the past year. Oh well, there’s the new D3 expansion, ESO, EQ:N, and eventually Camelot Unchained to look forward to. So yes 2014 will be an exciting year, but I don’t have much hope for GW2 at this point.

I wish you’d hurry up with this. Sitting in que for hours is so boringggggggg. Even worse when there’s nothing to indicate your que pops if you go afk or alt tab out

My guild (and most guilds on BG) doesn’t gvg, but I fully understand and support the gvg community.

No. Stat buffs are unwanted by anyone who actually wants to test their mettle in large scale open field fights, and unneeded as it’ll only wreck server morale even more making the blowout matches in the upcoming leagues even more pointless.

The main reason is simply that at the point that outmanned does that, it encourages servers to have fewer players on to take advantage of the stat boost. That, in turn, will cause people to yell at other players for logging on and taking away the buff.

Thanks for confirming once again that you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. I guess now we know that the new build with the outmanned buff update won’t do kitten for the outmanned server..

While we’re at it get rid of all the pve mobs or at least make them neutral

If you really have as many active people in your alliance as you claim then no matter which server you transfer to you will instantly break that tier. Don’t forget the fairweather syndrome plays a very large role in a server’s performance. Some of us still care about what’s left of competition in this game…

Are you actually going to change the mechanics of outmanned itself or just that it can’t be seen by other servers? If it’s the latter then outmanned buff is still going to be a fail.

Seriously these zoom hacks on the arrow carts allowing the attacking team to hit all defensive siege past the gates and into the defending team’s lord’s room/courtyards is getting ridiculous. This certain server (won’t name names or we get infracted) keeps doing it on top of their blobs and really needs to be fixed

This statement couldn’t be any more pedantic. Arrow Carts were mentioned beforehand, so were other various things. While Devon has been on board, the Glicko Ghetto was temp fixed while they came up with a solution to implement Glicko2 like it was originally designed for, which is HUGE for matches.

Blaming one person for the failure the QA department (yet kittening again), just further displays your failure to not only comprehend how design and development works but your inadequacy to weigh in on the argument other than to kitten for the sake of kittening.

All they ever say is “We cant tell you but we’re looking into it” or “We don’t have a estimated time yet but soon”. Where exactly does Devon even hint at changes to ACs and traps before they came out? I certainly can’t find it in his post history, so please enlighten me.

Just had a nearly 20 min long zerg vs zerg fight earlier tonight on SoR BL at the SE camp. Now that was epic.

If Anet had actually cared to explain their reasoning behind alot of their very questionable decisions, most of us probably wouldn’t be here wondering about their intelligence level.

This the first and only game I’ve ever seen, where people would see a bunch of AoE coming their way and yell “AoE’s are coming! Quick! Everyone stack together!”

These new armor skins are also a huge let down.We can get those skins anywhere else. Why must Anet force us into dungeons in order to get the dungeons skins? I hate dungeons!

All new stuff in dungeons is going to be hard for the first few days. We see it all the time with new content – people fail and get knocked down when they aren’t used to that sort of thing, and they claim it is too difficult.
Give it a week or so for everyone to develop strategies, learn encounters, and build fundamentals, and they will claim it is too easy. Trust me when I say this, the numbers are punishing (but less than they were before), but knowing the mechanics will greatly mitigate the danger.

You geniuses at Anet seem to think that a brutal challenge = fun gameplay. You should take a lesson from Diablo 3 and why so many people hated on Jay Wilson to the point he had no choice but to step down.

I’m not sure if this has been brought up before and I don’t want to derail the discussion on the thread but the guild Primordial Dragons [DRGN] has been actively recruiting on FA in Lion’s Arch and all the WvW borderlands for the past 2 weeks. They are an IoJ guild actively recruiting on FA and trying to get players and guilds to transfer over. Seems a little low and is really giving IoJ a bad reputation over here on FA.

Funny, Primordial Dragons was also in CD today recruiting for their guild. The most annoying part was this guy was in EB taking up a slot when we were getting pushed from both FA and IoJ and needed all the help we could get (we actually had a que this time). And finally he conveniently forgets to mention that they aren’t even from CD. How desperate can you get…

To the guy whining about your world completion in red borderlands, shut up please. You are obviously trolling and/or trying to get attention. If you even tried half as hard as you claim to you would have had 100% on all the BLs by now.

Sounds like something similar to the creepy kids in WoW that always stand around in a pentagram formation and acts all freaky..
