Hey, even that Aurora helm I wore for the longest time was better. I mean, I felt like a goat with those horns, but at least I sort of looked fierce. Now I just look absurd.
This must be the most magical straw hat ever.
I don’t want to transmute a lesser skin over top an ascended piece! But this looks awful.

I had to leave town in a rush for a work trip. Frankly the last thing I was thinking about when I was packing my bags was my left over cyphers for GW2. But now I’m back and I have a bunch left over

The following I read concerns me. “The other is which world you’re associated with for the Season. This association was made the first time you entered the world during Season 1.”
As I mentioned, I returned full time to the game sometime in October. I can not remember the exact date. I was in an EU server but my friends there had all quit, leaving me playing on a server that was totally dead during my peak hours.
So I changed to Jade Quarry to join a friend’s guild. All of my time, my efforts and my points were achieved while under the Jade Quarry banner. I don’t remember the exact date when I transferred, but I spent pretty much the entire period on JQ and can’t have been more than a couple of days.
Nothing has been excluded. Including my little violin I did in the middle there. I was really irritated when I wrote that, but I included that for completion.

Hello Oganmi,
Thanks a lot for taking the time to share your ideas about Guild Wars 2. We have found that the best way for the development team to gather and review player feedback and suggestions is through our official forums. We ask players to post their ideas in our Official Forums, within the Suggestions sub-forum located here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions.
Members of the Development Team read the Suggestions Forum daily, and while they usually cannot respond to individual suggestions, the fact that team members can review those suggestions in a public forum helps them gauge the level of interest in a specific idea, and also allows other players to discuss and offer feedback of their own.
Please be sure to read the following forum post to learn how the Suggestions Sub-Forum functions: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/How-This-Sub-Forum-Works.
The team looks forward to reviewing your input.

Are you even reading my mail? How does this resolve my ticket? Do you really want me to post this entire ticket on your forum? My ticket was for a chest I didn’t get, though I have EARNED it though hours playing your game. Can I get a proper, non automated response?

You have not given me a reason why, when I have both the key and completed the WvW meta. And my server was supposed to receive the reward chest, as my guild mates have.

Hello Oganmi,
Thanks for the update.
I understand you completed the WvW meta and you have a WvW chest key. Like stated before, WvW Season Reward Chests are awarded at the end of a WvW season to all players who achieved the meta-achievement for the season.
Like you did not receive the chest, you will be unable to use the key. If you want to know how to get these chests, you can visit the following link I provided you before: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/How-This-Sub-Forum-Works.

I include an image of my meta, and the key. Explain to me what I am missing? I spent a lot of time doing this, [and] now you tell me I do not have the meta? [http://i.imgur.com/Pq3h1mD.jpg]

The following dialogue is between myself a several GMs regarding the WvW season 1 reward chest I never got. It feels like they didn’t really even bother to look into my case. But they kept telling me to go here. This exchange has just been baffling and even more disappointing than the last ticket I submitted.

I am still holding on to a WvW chest key. I did not get a chest. How do I get a chest that will work with the key?

Support,
The key I have is the “WvW Season 1 Reward Chest Key”. I can’t remember exactly what day I got the [key] from. It was too long ago. I remember I rushed to get it towards the end of the season. This key has been sitting in my bank for a long time. It just sit here…

Hello Oganmi,
Thanks for the update.

What is the requirements for the meta-achievement? I thought the key is rewarded on completion of the meta? I completed 15/15 and have the “Premier Season Veteran” achievement complete.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the Guild Wars 2 Support Team with your question.
While we would love to try to answer each gameplay question that comes our way, there are times when that simply is not possible. We’d like to suggest a few web-based resources that very likely will provide the information you seek:
The official Guild Wars 2 Wiki is a player-created resource that contains a great deal of information regarding our game and its mechanics. The official wiki can be reached by typing wiki.guildwars2.com or by following this link: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Main_Page. On the wiki, you can use the search engine to find pages related to a particular subject and review those pages or pose questions on the relevant discussion page.
Our Players Helping Players sub-forum allows any Guild Wars 2 player to ask questions and get assistance from other members of our very active community. This forum can be found on the following link: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players.
For specific questions about achievements, I suggest you the following link: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Achievement

Dear Support,
This is getting extremely aggravating. I don’t know why I keep getting copy and paste responses. I worked hard for that meta achievement and I have been holding on to the chest key for a very long time. Despite my guild mates assuring me the rewards weren’t too stellar, I would still appreciate a token for my efforts. I have the key, I have the achievement, but no chest.
I left GW2 because most of my European friends quit late 2012. I came back because a real life friend promised me the game had improved and asked me to support his guild. I came back, and brought over half a dozen people with me. Between my previous ticket, during which Anet made clear my unsolicited monetary support is worthless, and this ticket, where I’m asking to get a reward I earned and I’m being
jerked around, its making this whole return to the game very unpleasant to me.
I saw the new dailies and I just said “I’m not going to pursue those. I haven’t got that kind of time.” I can’t. Solo Q relies too much on people knowing what to do and with these new dailies, there seems to be even more people running around playing badly.
No team who wants to win will just start picking up people. I would have to conjure my own team of people who have that much time to practice… for 1 AP/day.
I want the AP, don’t get me wrong. But these are impossible for me because I just don’t have the time. I could do the original 3 in three matches, which I found a bit easy, but reasonable. I could always get at least double the wins and captures within 3 matches anyway. Between the normal dailies and the sPvP dailies, it would take me over 6 hours (estimate) to get everything, 2-3 for one, 3-4 for the other.
So I give them up. GL AP hunters. 07
The point isn’t to report them for breaking any rules. The point is the correct the game and what is considered “participation” so that it doesn’t hurt the people who (shockingly!) actually want to play the game properly.
A lot of people want to farm their AP. Living world mini games give those APs and completions.
They’re also supposed to be mini games to be played.
Some people want to farm AP. Some people actually want to play the game. The former keeps going on during the matches about letting the other team win, and just fighting in the middle and not even bothering to move gifts. They want their AP.
The latter either need to just lose because their team isn’t even trying, or they need to keep rolling instances until they find a proper game…
So why make a mini game and then make an achievement that damages it like this?
Did two fractals, did not get credit for daily, as of about 2 hours ago. Then the lfg party member bailed out so /end fractal. Guess we’re short two AP today!
Did the offshoot twice outside the tower, twice inside the tower, none of them counted for my daily
It would be very helpful for there to be a guild commander option, or at least a way to group guild members that allows for more than the standard 5 man party. Generally each operation has 1 commander, more and people get really confused. But sometimes guilds want to run their own op.
I failed miserably at the Mad King’s Tower. I tried it for probably a total of 7 hours before I gave up. I got about 1/3 of the way.
I completed the Wintersday JP and can do the daily. This one is considerably easier and I am very thankful for that, though I know some who are very good at JP are not happy about it being made easier.
Yup.
That’s right. It’s basically a sink until you get minis.
You would not believe how many times, as a annoyingly huge charr, I hit my head on snowflakes or my view clips so I totally lose sight of what I’m doing.
This is incredibly forgiving, compared to the Mad King’s tower. You can afford to jump a flake behind, or try and get ahead. I’ve had many Asuran friends tell me they have no idea how Charr even gets halfway through some of these because of our size. There’s pros and cons to both sides. If I had a choice I’d get a spell in JPs that mini’s me.
Sigh… let me repeat myself then.
And you would cause an uproar with the people who have already bitten the bullet, liquidated their assets and either bought the bell or sank a lot of gold on the lottery to get one.
You are asking for an item to be drastically changed in value less than a week after people have jumped through hoops to get it.
Because I’m asking for an account bound, way that involves playing the game (no, farming is not playing). Yep, thats really going to hurt the econ…..oh wait.
Let me repeat myself then, nobody forced any of you to buy the bell, and maybe if you stopped and thought about how few were in the market, and in turn how few people had bought, you would probably realize your claim is pretty illogical.
Actually, it will most definitely impact the economy of the item itself. It’s value will be altered because there are additional ways to obtain it and those who want to have it have other ways to get it. No one is forcing you to have the bell either, but if you would like it it seems perfectly logical that you do the same that others who have it have to do, instead of being given the handout because you asked for it. And your attitude in your response really doesn’t improve your case.
Sigh… let me repeat myself then.

I have to chime in on the whole not trade-able thing. Nothing says “we want you to spend moar money for things you don’t need” like getting duplicate festive hats and three minis of the exact same type.
Why do this? We pay money for this. And we can only use on at a time Why? Now I have 3 extra mini infinis and my brother has two festive hats. What are we supposed to do with these duplicates. Wear two hats on our heads?
I think the hardest thing is that people are trying to get something that already IS purely aesthetic. They want to have a cute mini. I sure do! They are willing to fork money for it. But to have no idea how much money it would mean to get one makes it hard to swallow. You can’t compare it to a lottery because you’re going for some money.
People are trying to go for something that’s account bound, it’s a cute little doll that has absolutely no impact on the game they just want to be able to say “Aww so cute!” and to have to roll boxes over and over and get totally screwed over because of the horrible lottery chances… how can you not expect people to be upset? Just let us buy the cosmetic things we want, it’s not breaking any game mechanics….
Is anyone else getting this? I know the flakes are supposed to disappear, but I jump with a fully solid flake in front of me and simply pass right through it. Am I lagging that badly? I never had this problem with the Mad King’s tower (though I failed miserably on that one because I’m just bad at JPs).
Just keep reportin….
This is a big problem. Especially when there’s only 5 players to start going through a dungeon and if you lose one due to a momentary disconnect or the game crashes (which definitely happens) means it’s pretty much impossible to go much further. You should be able to rejoin your team in the fractal.
PS: Kinda aggressive there :/
Healing/precision/vitality or healing/precision/toughness? I guess I don’t know exactly the difference. Is there a sigil more suitable for a mace to cope with the slower attack speeds? While quickness is great, the rage sigil still has a 45s cooldown, which is a LONG time in a fight.
For the most part I’ve used the guardian to be my team’s meat shield / buffer to this point. It’s an extremely challenging ordeal that involves pushing buttons as fast as I can but I hate to say… I’m bored of that.
I’ve grown to love the mace/scepter/shield. The mace especially. But I feel like I am not doing right by the mace right now.
I have a set of aurora armor right now, but I am contemplating getting a suit either with more healing power, or precision.
I am debating precision/healing power because the next debate is sigil of rage or sigil of water. Which one would play best with the mace’s auto attack heal?
Basically I’m looking to build a suit around the mace shield combo. Damage is a secondary consideration to me if I can fill the roll of tanking and agro while keeping a steady trickle of health going back into my allies.
