But guys, don’t forget to purchase that [insert new glider] and [insert unlimited tool] in the gem store every week!!! Yay?
I tried this out for the first time today, and was kicked after the meta was over for not following the “rules” that was never explained. Got a nasty response back when I asked why, like I was stealing from them or something. I also saw commanders asking for tips and such. I agree that it is pretty toxic and I’m gonna avoid this multi-map thing cuz I don’t like the attitudes I saw.
I saw the moth wings on reddit and I got jealous. That’s why I made this thread=3 Heh heh. Come on Anet!
(edited by megakittytron.5971)
So, when are we getting a matching glider for our butterfly wings?? Make this happen Anet (for free like the black and white wings). Do eeeeeeeeeeet!
Is there any point discussing the 250 limit on these slots? It’s great to have a dedicated slot for something but when it hits 250, what then? Is 250 a technical limit or an economic one? Could it ever be raised to 999 for example?
Sure you can…by purchasing the storage expansions with gems in the gemstore=/
Blade Shards please. This has been around for so long and still no storage spot!
Orrrrrr, ok hear me out. Maybe Garm survived somehow, but is severely wounded and Rox ends up finding him and adopting him as a ranger pet? Or maybe Braham adopts him (but Braham is not a ranger like Eir). Garm can’t be dead darnit! sniff sniff
What I want to know is…what happened to Garm?
I prefer the potions allowing me to use full armor including head gear..
I could also choose devil horns or other masks with less pronounced horns. which would fit on my head instead of being afloat…
I use the selfless potions with alot of happiness on multiple characters ( farmed 3 selfless and 1 thoughtless potion at the time…..)
That’s why I said there should be a mystic forge recipe allowing players to convert it to helms if they want. Players who are happy with them as potions can leave it the way it is.
I was wondering if you guys (the programmers and developers at anet) can please provide your players with the option of converting the selfless and thoughtless potions into helms via a simple mystic forge recipe of some sort. This way people who want to keep them as potions can do so while people who would prefer them as helms can use the recipe. Thanks! (Also bump so mods can see this please…i dunno say anything).
I’m glad I don’t have any human characters, a wedding mini-skirt with train really isn’t appealing. I mean maybe today’s generation with their super loose morals would think it was awesome but this just screams “look at my panties!” It’s better on the Norns but it still looks like an Asura tent.

Just a few examples. The High/Low style is a popular one.
Bleh. All those models look like disheveled messes in those dresses. That’s popular now? Oh well, it’s been years since my own wedding. My wedding was Indian but I did change into a wedding gown for the reception minus the garter thing. Anyway OP, I’ve been to alot of American weddings, and the garter in Western weddings are used in a different way. I think that’s what the designer was trying to implement. The dress makes human females look really pregnant though, lol.

Omg, so much this. I have both the halo and horns and they would be so much better as helms instead of hobo tonics that wear off with the slightest gameplay.
Can you keep anything Revenants finds?
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Just a side note. If you have makeover kits or hairstyle kits in your bank and you use it on your revenant it will still be in your bank for your main. As someone mentioned, the revenant gets a copy of your bank, so whatever you use doesn’t get consumed.
Has Babies! I’m so glad their story ended so happily! Found them in Moorookoo village in LA. They even sing a little lullaby to the tadpoles together. Cuteness overload!
1) Will Bloomanoo and Peneloopee move back to their home? Will they have little Quaggan hatchlings scurrying about? This is pertinent!
2) Where will the new outhouse/watercloset be so I can us the 250 rolls of toilet paper I got from Halloween, and will there be a stuck up Sylvari giving me directions there?
Agree with you OP. Something needs to be done! I am collecting these things faster than I can convert them to bars, and they’re so expensive to convert too. Think of us hoarders!
HoT Price Feedback + Base game included [merged]
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

I myself have supported this game since beta and have personally spent an ungodly amount of money on gemstore stuff because I want to support this game (way more money than a subscription fee btw). After thousands of hours of game play I never got a precursor drop and I’m perfectly cool with that too. However, I’m going to pass on this expansion because I feel that it is overpriced, vague, and just plain unappealing. This kind of greed just makes veteran players want to quit. I’ve almost always defended this game, but I can’t defend this and I can’t see how any other near 3 year player can sit there and feel fine with what the company is charging for expansion content that cost the same as the base game when I bought it.
The new ram backpiece from the lunar festival is lvl 80 with selectable zerk stats, and it’s cheap now.
I’d say put them in the account wallet like dungeon tokens. Refining is too expensive and the collection expander only temporarily solves the issue.

I miss the one between the child and the charr next to the bank in old Lion’s Arch.
Kid: Your face is funny; all squished and weird.
Charr: Your face is funny; it’s like a little raisin.
I might not remember it right.
DEATH BY SNOO SNOO!!!!
My feedback on new dailies: PVE dailies need more variety. The end.
As an old player who has been playing since head start, I thought I should share my feedback since i’ve been around for the last two wintersday events.
1) The meta needed more variety. The main problem was forcing players to play the choir bell, which is buggy btw (the bug where players take damage on every correct note…yeh that happened to me a few times). Players who can’t stand the choir bell should have been given optional choices, ie: snowball mayhem, having a few of the wintersday dailies count, etc. Now let’ s be real, the choir bell was never popular since 2012, so making this a mandatory part of the meta really caused a lot of discontent in your player base.
2) The Wintersday jumping puzzle: Why remove the save point? I did this one last year, but with the popping boxes where players have to rush each other to get to the top there needs to be a checkpoint.
3) I really enjoyed the scavenger hunt with the grawl. We need more of that.
4) Omg, too many boxes within boxes.
Overall, I enjoyed wintersday. The rewards this year was nice. I got my own xmas tree and a star. I think for next year maybe a little less grind. Also, if LA is still messed up next year, I think it would be more appropriate to host wintersday in Hoelbrak; it would feel less artificial.
I don’t know why anyone would even ask this question. I mean obviously the noxious gas is Mordremoth farting. Yeesh. It’s just not part of the lore yet…
They are still in the store. Go to the “style” section and scroll down.
Finally, some girly weapons. Hopefully I can pick one or two up before the price raises.
how exactly are those weapons girly?
The design is very elegant and feminine to me, unlike the flame themes that are rough. I do have my female charr with a flame theme though, but it’s very rare to find sleek weapons like these with a girly flare (besides the lovestruck ones).
The flame theme weapons seem to be the type of thinks that a high school kid would love, while the tempest is slick, elegant (which it not really feminine). The flame tries too hard to be cool.
I like the flame theme too=3 Like my husband loves skulls and flames, so I guess that’s why I see it more of a male theme (or charr theme). The tempest I see as more of a feminine theme because of its gentle look. But oh well, everyone has their own opinions and their own way of viewing art.
Finally, some girly weapons. Hopefully I can pick one or two up before the price raises.

I really like these new achievements. Last time I was forced to abandon what the map was doing just to go kill dolyaks and cap areas so I can complete the meta. This time I can run with the map and work towards the meta without worrying about additional achievements. I think it should stay this way.
I agree with you OP. I liked the scavenger hunt aspect of the backpiece, but when I looked at how crazy the crafting steps were, I too passed on this. I usually always tried to craft the new stuff if I could, but this one is too long, boring, and pricey to even attempt. Not to mention the foxfire clusters are all locked behind rng too. Ugh. Paaasssss.
What is this kitten? Are you serious anet What the… A knapsack with crap items in it that are cheaper to get with individual gems??? Who keeps designing this stuff? Is the good design team on summer break and they have been replaced with cardboard cutouts? Explain this to us please.
I too have a sneaking suspicion that when Rytlock was “researching” how to cleanse the curse, he saw a ball of yarn and got distracted. Therefore, he missed out on some vital information because he was all like "meow purr purr*.
I beat that fight my first play through on my mesmer main; but yeah it took really long and was super annoying. I use zerk gear and scepter/focus/pistol ( I know, weird build). When menders start running down the stairs use your focus skill to knock them back.
I hate to say this, as I’ve been a loyal gw2 player since beta and have generously bought gems for the past two years, but this looks like a blatant money grab. I feel like players are seriously being milked here. This item should be made a permanent black lion chest drop at least.
The Wizard’kitten was given out to honor the 2012 release of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”. It’s supposed to resemble Gandalf the Grey’kitten. Hopefully, with the last installment of that movie coming out soon, newer players will have a chance to obtain it as well. The hat is so cute on my little Asura, but it’s not dyable=(
Didn’t these two just escape from Kessex?? Why did they return there? Obviously they are aware that their home was destroyed. I would totally donate some gold to these two if it would find them a comfy quaggan nest instead of to that hobo Drooburt (who looks like he tried to snuggle with some vines). Rage cooo
You have to have the fortune scrap and/or dragon jade claim ticket in your inventory, then the npc will give you the option to purchase those skins using that currency.
Triple trouble achievements are still broken also…
We have had to take the Trading Post down to perform maintenance, for now please keep an eye on Twitter (and this thread) and I will update as and when we have more info to give.
Ty! The message: “We have take the in-game Trading Post down for maintenance, we apologise for the short notice and will update when we have an ETA on it being back up. Thank you for your patience”, found in the announcements section has a few errors. It should read: We have taken the in-game Trading Post down for maintenance. We apologize for the short notice and will update when we have an ETA on it being back up. Thank you for your patience.
By Ogden’s Hammer! This has to be the worst idea I have ever seen on these forums! I don’t even know where to begin with those crazy suggestions >.< faints As others have said, just block and move on. I’d rather that than the ideas you propose.
After you buy the skin, the first initial transmute will be free. However, after that you will have to spend one transmute charge per piece of armor each time you want to change your look.

I saw them earlier next to that apple orchard with the spiders, the one close to the bridge entrance to Lions Arch.
South east of Cornucopian Fields in the Gendarran Fields zone.
Also, I hate Quaggans. :P
I looked for them there, but I didn’t find them=( Sad Quaggan

I haven’t been able to locate those two. That, and also where are those darn water-closets??
So how do we all rate the end of LS season 1
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: megakittytron.5971
Pass- I loved it! Love the hologram fight, love the instance, and loved all the new characters, especially Rox and Braham. I don’t understand all the hate LS is getting=/
The SAB explosive finisher is awesome looking too.
No one has answered the real question: why is braham so useless that he can’t handle a tiny wittle broken leg?
His broken leg symbolizes his broken childhood stemming from his mother, Eir’s, abandonment. Rox is there to heal those deep psychological wounds by tending to his leg and maybe snuggling him.
