I personally find the humanoid relationships really boring, whether heterosexual or homosexual. Frankly sexual preference does not bother me since I grew up around all kinds of people. What I would really love to see is some inter-species romance in this game sometime. I’m so looking forward to Rox and Braham hooking up in the near future. That’s not a bad idea either, though you’d have to do something about the positioning of the boob cups on most of the armors since they’re way too low to cover anything up.

Oh yeh, I see what you mean. I got the heavy one for my norn so the cups look fine. But when I previewed them on my medium and light classes i realized that if the blue was to be toggled on and off then the chest armors would have to be lifted up more. Ah wells=3

I love it on my norn guardian. That armor paired with the shatterer wings and Sovereign hammer looks epic and godlike=3

Try “iron dye”. That one is pretty black.

1) Necromancer- Just not fun to play even with condition staff build. Minions are useless in pve generally.
2) Elementalist- Just a pile of “ugh” everywhere.
3)Engineer- Just not a desired class anywhere except when they use bombs.

Go into the heart of the mists (the double swords at the top of your screen) and preview essentially all the armors in the game from the armor lockers there.

ok so I got my Green Quaggon Backpack but not my Mr. Sparkles….. will they come in separate mails or was there a glitch. I bought my 4000 gems in time and all just need to know what I should do.

No its not too high. Please stop asking for more nerfs for no reason. The only thing i would agree with is that there should be more ways to obtain emphyreal fragments/dragonite ore. If you have too much then keep refining into bricks like i did or delete them. Yeesh.

The outfit does come in pieces, hat, skirt, gloves, sweater, boots. Unless its changed into a one piece this year.

I agree that Orr completion is definitely not a problem, at least for me personally. I soloed orr on all my 8 classes plus my husband’s two toons with Malchor’s leap being the most annoying cuz of the troublesome vistas. So yeh, orr map completion is fine to me. But while completing wvw, even on my mesmer with invisibility, I still got ninja stomped by zergs and ganked by thieves, lol. That was the worst part of map completion >.< Now with keeps being held by the opposing team like all the time, its impossible to do with any of my alts=/

It would seem that people are again attempting to direct the topic of discussion elsewhere. The point of this thread is not the legitimacy of WvW as a requirement for map completion; it is to discuss that SoS has not been green for three months and that we, the players affected, would like some sort of official acknowledgement of the issue.

WvW color and map completion is an intertwined subject though. Explain how SoS have been affected (other than the map completion reason) by not being a certain color, in this case green?

While your argument is valid and they are indeed intertwined, my point stands. Yes, the only reason many of us on SoS are distressed over this is because we desire map completion. I fully recognize that. However, the intention of the topic as I see it wasn’t to argue over whether the WvW map should be required, it was simply to ask the attention of a dev on the WvW team to comment and give some sort of assurance that the system would not stick us in red or blue for too much longer.

The reason I do not want the point of the thread to change is because if a dev DOES comment on it, I do not want them to simply state “WvW is a requirement for map completion and this is working as intended.” I would LIKE for them to make a comment about this specific case, and possibly other cases involving servers in a similar situation.

The thread maker himself states if you go and look back that “I am interested in a developer’s response because if they really want to reduce the match variation they should also take out WvW from the map completion or at least require less from it”. The point of this thread is about wvw being a requirement for map completion. It is selfish to think that this only applies to SOS. What about other people on servers having the same problems with map completion because of wvw then?

This is a bad situation, and not just in SOS, but in every low population server. I remember a year ago I did map completion on my main by transferring to another server for free, but now with the steep charges it is impossible for me to ever get map completion again for any of my alts. I feel equally bad for my newer guild members and friends. I hope there is a viable solution for map completion coming soon=(

I never could finish the mad king’s clocktower, I tried last yr and then again this year and never got it. It was boring and timed and not fun. But this christmas puzzle is much better than last year’s, and i finally got it! Plus I had fun. The scenery was so lovely that I didn’t mind trying like 15 times to finish it, lol.

Unfortunately we can’t get the frames anymore like how we got them last year. We will only be getting one of the minis at the completion of the meta event. But the frames and cogs seem to be no longer available.

I see your point. However, “David” is a masterpiece and a scuplture. It is something to behold, admire and also take distance from.

In our case we are talking about a role playing game, where people are playing a character and many of them are identifying with it. The character represents you, and many players do not want it to be showing certain body parts.

In the early days of the game, the Heavy female Arah armor, was showing a fleshy boob and what was edited to the current eddition of the armor with metal covering the entire chest. I do not see how a small alteration to the tier 3 medium armor is different from that.

Art in itself is something to “behold, admire and also take distance from”. Video Games is an art form hun. Movies and film is art, theatre is art, literature is art. There were artists that stayed up and designed these armors themselves, as well as the environment we play in. Why should the artist change his art??? Now it is the player’s choice to show or not show body parts. I think it is obvious that we all have that choice in this game. The t3 medium is not being forced upon your toon in any way. Now I do remember the Arah armor and its changes, but that was waaay at the start of the game where bugs were being ironed out and final changes were being made. Now a full year later is hardly the time to complain about an armor that the players were alright with since the beginning and is now considered (at least by me) to be a unique piece of art work woven into the game. Your arguments are just not solid enough to justify this type of change. Please move on, wear a trench coat on your toon, cuz lord knows there’s plenty of that.

As a female I don’t find the under boob “offensive” or “impure” in any way, nor would I dress that way irl. So please stop trolling the players of gw2 and go play the game.

An easy fix would make the armor beautiful for a wider target audience. Doesn’t seem like she’s trolling. I honestly see no reason why they chose for this design in the first place.

And if it’s not offensive or impure for you thats great. But keep in mind others might for good reasons.

So, what is this Abaddon that everyone is going on about? I understand he is from gw1, but i never played that. Running about with my little warrior asura i found a blown up reactor with my sick coughing fellow brothers and sisters. I wanted to investigate immediately! So I voted for Ellen Kiel and she opened up an investigation. I said “for great justice!” and ran into that reactor and had a fun time with my friends. Finally, I had closure as to what happened to my fellow asuras! Do I care about abaddon? Not really, because he is not in the current game. I’m also not going to read up about him either. So please, stop attacking the Kiel voters. Sick Asuras are important too.

Wait, what? I bought t3 cultural on my human necro and didn’t like the plain-ness of the skin so I never wore it. Then when I saw this in the gemstore I bought it and transmuted it to new exotic skins i crafted cuz it looks so awesome and necro-ish. I didn’t care if other races got the t3 skin I paid over 100g for. I quite liked this new version and didn’t mind other races enjoying it’s cool look either. In addition to my gems back (i bought this with money btw) I sure hope I get the armor i transmuted it over to back and unbound so i can sell em=/ This blows=(

There’s a ton of boxy armors in the game to choose from already. The few revealing female heavy armors that are finally released gets complaints? I personally love the female phalanx armor and would like to see more like it. If you don’t like, then don’t buy it. Please don’t come on here demanding it be changed because there are many players who like it.

I too also liked this update very much. It was fun and challenging trying to get to the top of the tower with or without a zerg. I thought the little instances were engaging, and i was happy to see rox and braham again in some of them.

I like Scarlet. She’s a complex character with a bit of lunacy thrown in, kind of like a female joker (darn that gift box she sent meee). I’m glad a-net didn’t go with a depressing type villain that we see in characters like Sephiroth or Loki. Those villain types are yawntastic, but Scarlet is unpredictable.

That heavy phalanx female armor set looks sexy on my Guardian. Looove eeeet! Also, I’d like to see more high heeled heavy armor come out like this.
