i have 355 hps with my guardian, it would be kinda silly to have the full spec just at the beggining of the expansion, i’m assuming it will be 400 or probably 300
the problem with engi is that you are forced to take a kit every single time, anet should add the option to have a 2nd set of weapons when you don’t have any kit, this is a nice idea because adds variety to the class, i wish i could go full elixirs with hammer and pistol shield without the need of having to equip a kit.
the reason eles don’t weapon swap it’s because they have a set of 20 skills no matter what weeapon they choose.
it sucks too in wvw, i passed all the day trying to make it work but no success, by the time you want to heal or cure a condition you already have 10 condis on you and 5 guys kicking your kitten it’s only good on pve or raids, they neeed to change the range or the way the buffs and heals are applied
I really like the soulbeast main mechanic. It’s the stances I didn’t like and won’t use. Their cooldown is so huge and duration so short, and I hate using hotbar slots for stuff like that.
what do you mean ? stances are amazing, the heals is probably the best heal in the game it’s just about using those stances in the exact moment
One way to improve your story telling in the game is by adding more animated cuts, its hard to take the story too serious when the caracters are just standing talking every single time.
I been trying to play on different hours and almost all the time are just empty maps, the days that we have a group we are usually crushed by the enemy servers 50v30 it’s not fun to play when you lose every fight
I used to play WvW every day, now it’s impossible due to server being almost empty and the other servers closed to transfer, GW2 it’s dead to me and what bothers me the most is that is the anet the one that kill it and i’m sure i’m not the only one
RLLY?? , the big update for wvw are just a bunch of rewards, no fix to the core problem, no new system to balance the servers, is anet rlly afraid to lose the money from the server transfers?, really dissapointed
The new map it’s fantastic, surpass all my expectations by far, i was not expecting this quality for a season map, also the final fight it’s amazing, i cannot wait for the next expansion.
Im at TC and im so done with the game , may return later to check how its going on , but right now its not a good time, we cant even get a map full when we are linked to 2 other servers
Anet should give engis the option to use 2 sets of weapons when you don’t run any kit ,
i hate that if you don’t run any kit you are underpower compared to other classes , engis is balanced around the fact that you will HAVE to choose a kit you like it or not.
If they add this option the variety of builds for engi would be far superior.
The system is broken , i was hoping really hard to have some good fights this week but this thing make’s me SOOOOOOO angry , i will need to save some gold for a server transfer , WvW need’s a rework NOW.
There is a bug in the Meeting of ministers after you search for all the communication devices, when Queen Jennah it’s going upstair to give her speech, as a necro if you have your summons outside, the summons will bug the Queen and she will cast a spell on the summons and stay at the same spot bugging the quest.

Title, wvw it’s unplayable when the 3 servers are fighting against each other in the same place, sometimes you don’t even need that many people to have lag on your skills.
I wanted to play some wvw yesterday at 7 p.m. TC server, all the maps were dead, not a single map had a queue, GG anet you really know how to kill your game
Totally killed WvW for me , queues of 30-40 ppl , 2 maps completely abanadoned, alpine BL it’s boring, dessert BL just needed a few changes to be perfect , the last changes anet did to the map did wonders for it , i’ll take a break until further changes.
My 64 bit client used to consume 5gb of ram at peeks now the client barely touch the 3gb of ram and i notice how the game struggle to load the new expansion maps , also i notice that my fps went down a little , did anet moved something to the 64 bit client?
Even if you try to experiment with different build in the game there is always one that outstand all others , right now for guardian it’s DH or DH , there is no more , i tried to build a tanky guardian and even with 3800 defense i blow up against other DH or Reapers not even a chance to fight back or last at least 20 secs during the fight for my team to come and help me.
I got my money back , but i had to asked anet for it , they give a few time before expansion for everyone who bought the game between the announcement of the expansion and the release of it , seems that the time for that has expired.
Scrapper it’s the only elite specialization that doesn’t feel “Elite” , the hammers it’s ok , some trait lines feel kinda bad because some traits compete so hard with each other, the Gyros are bad in terms of following , bulkwark , Medic and Sneak gyro tool belts are great but the other 3 are really meh.
Overall kinda disapointed with the scrapper.
Engineer need to be able to swap weapons , compared to the eles , eles will always get 20 skills no matter what set of weapons you use , engis are forced to use 1 or 2 kits at least , this makes the engi to lack lot of options for building your character .
dragonhunter its a support back line not a dps class , u need to analyze the strenghts of the class , i find it amazing for wvw.

Block with f3 => revenant hammer is far superior.
Control ? => no way the longbow 5 is efficient enough. there is no longer and more telegraphed control skill in this game. in top of that it roots you an eternity.
Cripple…so subpar to the soft cc a necro can bring.
Boon sharing => classical guardians and rev do it much much better.

And to be honest what you say is somewhat contradictory to the selfishness anet was supposed to provide to dh.

U go staff / bow and in a back line party , eles or gank :
- Empower (might stack)
-Symbol of swiftness ( spd / range poke)
-Line of warding (wall)
-Purification (blind the frontline )
-Wall of refletion (reflect projectiles)
-Stand your Ground (stab)
-Fragments of faith (cripple + aegis for your frontline )
-Dragons maw ( wall)
-Wings of Resolve ( Great heal with a gap closer on it + condi clear on a low cooldown)
-Shield of Courage ( projectile block+ stability)
-Hunters ward ( wall )
-Puncure shot (constant Cripple on 2 targets )
Thats all i can remember right now , Dragon hunter don’t compete with any class for the role , create a role for itself , right now there is no such a thing like a backline support , with so many walls , traps , heals and utily skills that’s why i believe that dragon hunters will be amazing for wvw.
Right now there is no reason to play the scrapper over a guardian at wvw , gyros do nothing to fill the lack of skills that the enginner actually needs , what bother me more it’s that at 20 days for the release of the expansion we receive the scrapper in this bad state , u don’t need a beta to realize that this elite specialization has a bad design.
Actually the idea of being able to swap weapons it’s not a bad idea , compared to the elementalist that always have 20 skills no matter what set of weapons u use , an enginner with no tool kits on his build will be completely underpower compared to the other classees .
i wish developers focus more on the unique abilities that the scrapper bring to the table compared to the other frontline classes , right now the scrapper brings nothing to the tablet compared to a guardian or a warrior , those classes surpass by far the utility that a scrapper can bring right now , super spd it’s not a thing u barely notice the effect .
somehow feels shorter than that
