I eventually did get it on the fourth try, seems like it needed to hit a couple times, where i was getting hit once and dodging out.

well what the kitten?! Just tried a third time, stood in the fire, ran in the fire, stood there and got hit with the triangle AOE, and STILL NOTHING!!
Is the aurillium capsule for the third collection for astralaria bugged? I have done matriarch twice now, getting hit with all the fire attacks both times and haven’t gotten the needed item. It’s already getting annoying since thats keeping me from finishing off the collection.
ok, seriously, the triumphant armors were added nearly a year ago, and there is still no way to get the hero versions of this armor yet?
if it helps, don’t know about other places, but just last week saw two copies of HoT in the clearance isle at walmart
I don’t think people are asking for skimpy skin showing armor, they just want medium armor options that doesn’t go past the waist, or heavy armor that doesn’t have a kittened looking skirt or butt/groin flap
This doesn’t go along with the other UI complaints in this thread, but it is a UI complaint, so I’ll put it here: Revert the changes to right clicking for party/squad options! You can’t leave a party anymore just by right clicking and selecting “leave party” anymore, have to type /leave, and for squads you can’t just right click any squad member icon to leave, have to click on YOUR icon.
i think gravedigger doesn’t go on cool down if you hit enemies with less than 50% health or something. i have no idea about longbow 2 on ranger, that sound like a bug

Bah, was about to counter argue, but then read everything below skill description saying recharge reduction: 100%. my bad.
anyone else noticing skill bugs? like they have a cooldown, but cooldown doesn’t kick in? was running on my reaper the other day, and thought that grave digger for some reason wasn’t firing, but then looked at combat log, and it was, but cooldown wasn’t kicking in all the time. Also I have noticed that longbow 2 on ranger doesn’t like to fire if you’re moving backwards.
I was on that boat of not agreeing with wasted xp and having to do raids to stop that, but recently deciding to go back to work on some collections and getting around to making some of the new guild armor, I didn’t want to let a ton of xp go to waste, so I started watching the LFG, saw a Gors training run and jumped in on it, hoping for a kill. They were at some point before the cemetary I think (still haven’t done much with raids, so not sure), got to Gors, spent about an hour trying to kill, actually did pretty good most attempts, but couldn’t kill him. Later I said screw it, and paid out 100g for a boss kill(Gors). No, I didn’t just pay and stand there, I jumped in remembering the fight explanation from the training run, and participated.
Well, now after that, I’m like, thats actually not so bad, wouldn’t mind doing more, lol.
This coming from a person who said screw raids for the last year+ with no interest of ever doing them.
Guess basicly, if you haven’t given them a try even once, maybe you should, maybe you’ll like it, maybe you won’t. Heck, if the xp is that big of a deal for you, dish out the gold for a boss kill.
“Find new items and tickets for new weapons from Black Lion chests”…. bought gems for 50 keys since they were on sale, used them all, and didn’t get anything “new”. And also no new weapon skins on the weapon specialist vendor? Seriously false advertising. GG Anet, way to trick people into spending money

It also seems like that the game will switch targets on me mid fight, without hitting tab or clearing my original target
Saw a post on here not overly long ago wondering about a new vendor selling krait oil in Lions Arch. Well, it appears that with the Oct 4 patch addition of a hidden current event achievement he now has a purpose. To unlock the achievement, get close to one of the sad anomalies that you see pop up everywhere.
Just did this last week, took me hour and a half… used ogre pet, fire ele, mortar turret and seed turret, may have been better off not using the mortar and turret, ended up pulling agro from 1-2 other wolves and would lose everything so had to wait the 1/2 hour cool downs to run out, but got it done otherwise painlessly.
Considered making a new thread, but fits in here well enough: Why weren’t the three Orders backpeices, which were released with HoT, made available with the new stat sets that came out with HoT? Spend a lot of time grinding the map currencies, good bit of gold for the armor/weapon collections, for stats I could have gotten from crafting/forging an ascended back piece with probably for less.
yes! some kind of skip dialogue and enough with the npcs stopping if you get to far ahead or behind, making you turn around and go back to get them to move again!
Anet still has plenty of space left to work with in Tyria…
Think it helps (seemed to at least the one time I’ve done it) have one person try to hold the agro on the dropoff (water hole) side, the shroom can’t get over the rocks, seemed like it made it a bit easier, still have to watch out for the AOEs though.
Theres really no differance in outcome to being helped by an NPC than being helped by another player.
The monsters that you are fighting dont get buffed if there are 2 players fighting them, so I cant see any problem in having NPCs who can actually help rather than being there just for show.
If the NPC is really useless, how about players being able to give NPCs better gear just on a temporary basis for the duration of the fights.There is because not everyone wants the game nerfed even more so that the content is more of a faceroll than it already is currently.
And yet not everyone agrees that the content is “faceroll easy” either. You lack perspective.
I didn’t have any problems/deaths beating the content, but I run with high survivability, so I can understand if other players, especially on squishier classes, have trouble with some of the fights.
I can also understand that it’s a bit insulting and frustrating to have these “legendary” individuals flail around and do nothing in combat. It’s bad for immersion, theme, and feel of the story. Not to say that NPCs ought to be able to finish battles and objectives, but they shouldn’t be worthless, either.
Not everyone is great at games but that’s no reason to nerf a game further just because they struggle. All it does is make it less challenging for everyone else. In many games, as a player progresses, it gets more challenging.
The NPC’s are here as part of the story and not to carry the players although a certain NPC at the end of the last instance in the recent LS can do just that. I do not see how the combat effectiveness of a NPC has any bearing on immersion.
on that argument, how immersive is it to see these “great heroes” lying around dead or just standing around doing nothing while you’re the one doing it all?
Leyline does come in handy, but not required anywhere that I’ve seen. Updraft for some of the POIs is needed. Bouncing mushrooms you will want, but the main way to get around there is the new mastery that was added with it (you can hold spacebar while midair to deploy glider). Thats for the map itself, for the story think its really just the new thermal vent mastery that you will need for sure to get to an area I don’t think you can get to without it (at least I wasn’t able to find a way to get there without it).
And honestly, mithril is so easy to come by without even going near a node… I have three stacks of raw and refined, with overflow raw in a bank tab, I can’t use it faster then I can get it just from salvaging.
On that note, Anet can you PLEASE stop with the crazy thinking of “lets make this fight ‘challenging’ by throwing in constant knockdowns/backs” with your new content? all that does is make it annoying and makes me want to hurry up and get through it and not do it again.
Best example would be temple events in Cursed Shore, namely Grenth’s. Running around there doing map completion a few days ago and seeing chat filled with people complaining about others defending Grenth’s rather then letting it fail.
Also so would see people say its taking to long to reset, so they assumed people were there defending.
I was actually asked to run a staff on an AC run for skill 5. I don’t mind using it from time to time in PVE just for something different, but honestly my main dislike for staff is the boring animations for it. I unlocked daredevil and really never touched theif after that until yesterday, and was really liking the animations for their staff, wish rev’s could get an overhaul.
ok, I’m apparently a bit slow on the upkeep here, but when the kitten did karma get nerfed???? trying to farm DS and EotM for karma for obi shards, and all I see pop is less then 400 from any event. And to top it all off, no more karma boosters or communal bonfires!? WHAT THE KITTEN ANET?!

So decided to do some gliding around Rata Sum, and go to the ground and went over to the circled area to check it, and wound up in jail in Rata Sum. What are they hiding there?!
well, maybe a solution to this would be to put the AR checker right by the gate where you first load into lobby, then everyone would know for sure who has the correct amount of AR and don’t have to argue with people to use it, it’d be automatic.
I think it’d be kind of nice if they added fractal armor sets, have the mist/cloud effect like the weapons do, just nothing too extreme with the effect though. Maybe purchasable with pristines or something new that could be added to daily fractals.
Its the Not So Secret Aetherblade Jump puzzle in gendarran fields, screen shot I highlighted the first platform that boosts you up, character switching back and forth from that platform put me on top of the airship, any platforms after that put me up top where the dive goggles are.
Sorry for a poor angle, missed a jump and died and really didn’t have time to run it again.
so just discovered an oddity with this, was going for the zap collection, got to the spot where you use the charged crystal, but it was on another character, logged over, put crystal in a shared slot, then back to the character at the spot in the JP, but oddly, when I loaded in, character wasn’t where I left it… Somehow my character found its way up to the dive goggles platform! So just for kittens and giggles (and boredom), later decided to look into this some more. It seems that any of the launching platforms going up to the dive goggles, with exception of the first one, upon log out and character change, will put you up at the dive goggles, but the first launching platform will put you on top of the airship.
ok, just played around in PVP lobby a little, think this is what I may have tried or close to it the last time.
I’ve tried this idea a couple different times, but was never able to make it really worthwhile in pvp other then 1vs1’s, but played around with a dual bow condi build, was great in 1 vs 1, especially if they focused mostly melee. I can’t remember what all the specifics of the builds I tried were, its been a while, but was wondering what other people’s thoughts on this kind of setup might be.
at this point other then seeing the electric glider come back for my rev with bolt, mjolnir, and lightning catcher, i’d have to say i’d like the spinal blades as gliders
This isn’t annoying NPC dialog, but it is an annoyance with NPCs, when you go to the bank or TP and interact and it doesn’t open, because you’re interacting with a kitten NPC that is standing right there!

The candy corn nodes have been popping up and disappearing for a couple years at least, see the nodes pop up on the mini map and disappear a lot.
Sounds like you’re wanting to see SWTOR’s conquest system added. There every week you can do either the flashpoints (dungeons basicly), raids, crafting, pvp, or the weeklies for points that go towards control of a zone on the selected planet for that week. Really all its for is bragging rights, and to get items to unlock more areas of your guild’s starship. There are in game achievements and titles with it, but unless you’re in one of the major guilds, you may be able to make the top ten for the week, but unless you’re guild places first, you’ll never see some of the achievements or titles, and it does get pretty repetitive and boring quite quickly
well, don’t know what it connects to, but in the SE and SW corners and west wall there are openings for where the sharks could have come from

Really don’t have an opinion on most of it, but seeing the activities added to pvp would be kind of nice.
