So Ive just leveled weaponsmithing to 400 to mystic forge craft azureflame So I go to forge with materials.
And gift of light is not showing in the bank etc, gift of light is showing up as armoursmith lv400 recipe etc.
Please dont tell me I should of leveled armoursmith instead of weaponsmith to make this weapon. I’m finding it hard to make sense of this bullkitten.
Would you all agree this update has been an epic fail, as I write this its 21.35 in the UK, just over 2hrs to the 16th April, I booked the day off work which I’ve never done for a game, I usually finish around 22.00 and come home and download patch.
What has happened today something has seriously went wrong, what are your thoughts
Hey guys I just gotta say I’m disapointed with the cost of this item. Gold to gems it costs 35 gold, seriously anet come on.
I only use them for salvaging dungeon token rares and exotics for ectos etc. Salvage 25 rares and say you got 25 ectos and sold for 12 – 14 gold. Maybe u get lucky with a superior sigil of bloodlust etc you will still be down at least 15 gold.
Anyone else kittened off with this.
I know u get them sometimes through story/map completion cant remember which but even so why so expensive.
No I started the game a year late, in Aug 2013 so your wrong.
Is just like to say nerf thief all you want, I will forever use my thief as my main. I started with thief and therefor had to learn to survive from the start unlike other tougher professions that could tank too much damage etc.
The myth that thieves are unwanted in duIgeons is bullkitten, i run AC paths 1/2/3, SE p1 and hotw’s p1 every day and never have a problem finding group or completing paths and i pug 100% of the time, I cringe everytime I read thieves unwanted.
I enjoy thief mechanics, im mobile and good at avoiding damage, I can stack with the best of them but would rather not.
I equipped my toon with so much exotics and ascended stuff that she will allways be my stongest character. So nerf away I will meet every challenge head on
I do it every day so 5.5 gold at least, bonus silver brings it to 6 gold and you often get drops of vicious claws and rates etc so usually at least 7 gold yes. Used to do hotw p1 as it was quickest but recent troll buff adds to much time to the run
Sorrows embrace can be a 10min run with most pugs, AC paths 1 to 3 are quick when you get used to them. You could get all done in 1h 30mins or under for about 7 gold with loot

Are these api’s allowed, just curious. I’m sure there’s ways to manipulate this type of app but if it had certain restrictions of still be happy being able to clear inventory through salvaging and checking current price of my stock on tp.
What I would love to see in the future would be a guild wars 2 app that allows access to our inventory and to the trading post.
I’d happily pay 10/20 pounds for this.
Imagine being able to pull buy orders on the go, alter the price, relist etc. Checking what items you have sold wlile at work, clearing/salvaging inventory items getting you ready to play as soon as you get home.
When path notes hit you can react to price spikes/drops instantly like the recent dye changes. What do you guys think about this would it be good/bad would people just use the app and not log into live game .
Could we see this in the future?

Lets say for example ore is 2s 80c, and I try to buy some at say 1s 45c.
Does that mean anyone selling ore will see my offer 1st if its the lowest offer.
hi guys I need help I think ive made a big mistake, so I’ve 456 gold, I decide to buy 400 gold worth of gems for just under 8 gold per 100 gems.
I already had 1000 gems so now I have 5885 gems, heres my problem. I was testing and tried to see if my gems would return the same gold and to my horror I would only get a return of 370 gold, so an instant loss of 30 gold even though I already had 1000 gems.
so the question is, why is gold/gem sold at the value of 7g 97s, if its not really worth that and instantly worth 2 gold less.
Ive read of a a lot of people making money this way but I just don’t get it after this episode

Hi guys beware buying these new dye kits, I bought flame dye kit for 125 gems and got a grey dye it return. Which I allready had.
I sent in a ticket requesting gem refund or even better an actual flame dye.
Ahhh good players play thief not the easy to survive war/guard. Think about what your saying op. Seriously after all the buffs yous have got while thieves get nerfed every month you think guards are good and wars bad players

Hey guys i was wondering if there has been any changes to the shortbow as in its traits.
I was changing my build recently when i noticed there was no trait for extra damage with the shortbow, but the extra damage was still available for pistol and dual weapons.

Hey guys, for anyone that has earned the achievement can you tell me which materials you recieved, was their anything worthwhile.
Im 8/11 and im thinking this reward dosnt compare to the gas mask skin etc
Dont you get the 3 pieces in your mail, also with another character i got 2 of one colour, 4 of another in drops and got the pink i needed from the tri chest. If i was able to open the tri chest with 2 chars in 3 hrs then i think the drop rate is ok
I bough the anti toxin for 25 skill points thinking it would be great to have another skill but its a replacement for my heal, now thats disapointment. As a thief my heal gave me stealth which was more important lol.

Right guys, through reading recent posts i see people talking about wp’s costing 5 silver etc. What waypoints, i played for 2hrs earlier. I got to lv4 and never saw a waypoint except the one at the start.
Anytime i died id have to restart and its a pain in the kitten . Id happily pay 5 silver to teleport to lv3, some have said its too costly. Ive plenty of gold but not much time, so again where are these wp’s
Yes your right i forgot about the listing fees, i do have 18 slot bags but i thought this could add a few more free slots. If onky there wasnt listing fees.

Hear me out guys, im only playing a few months but if this has been mentioned before hear me out.
Had this idea last night, for extra storage space could we list items we want to store at a price no one is willing to pay and therefore our items can be stored until we want to retrieve them.
Is there a limit to what can be listed, or if yous think this would not work please explain why.
If i was fighting a champion out of turn i wouldnt care what the others thought or wrote in chat. What are we all sheep that has to follow the majority, no were not. We have all paid the same money for this game so do what yous like and dont give a hoot what others wanna do.

Im happy enough with my level 80 thief, ive 65 skill point built up so u know ive spent alot of time on my thief over the last 3months, leave thiefs as they are. If you want longer range create a ranger
Yes and it failed big time, one player wanted his combo field at the expense of the whole team. Moral of the story is dont listen to idiots.
The guy was giving a bit of abuse about you only have 1500AP but made himself look a prat when we done it how it should be done easily
Was doing TA story last night with a pug group and 3 of us were doing it for 1st time. Everything was running smoothly we killed everyting in our own way no co ordination needed. At the last boss someone suggested we stack in a corner and that i (thief) equip shortbow and hit the so called player with the grenade thingy when he was no where near boss wtf.
Anyway we tried it twice and failed twice, i said in chat anychance of doing this properly itstead of this stupid idea, i was asked “what stupid idea” to which i replied this stupid grenade idea. I was asked “why is it stupid” to which i replied "doh you have got us wiped twice.
So we tried it my way and cleared it easily, anyone else been asked to bomb a fellow pug instead of the actual boss, this seems idiotic to me. I would of understood if he was standing at boss but he wanted me to hit him before boss then stack.
I dont get this, you generally must be a bad player. I started playing 2months ago have only 300hrs play time but have 76gold. I was lucky at the start i managed to have 8 gold by level 14 on my 1st character by selling holographic dragon wings on the tp. But the rest of the gold has been got farming and selling mostly everything.
I would class myself as a noob player, ive only played AC dungeon no other ones. I have 3 other characters all about level 10 yet i have 70 gold and you cant get by 10.

I play most nights for a couple of hrs between 22:00 and 02:00 and earlier at weekends.

Hey guys, ive been playing for over 2months now, an hr or 2 each night and ive a level 78 thief.
In all that time leveling ive only entered a dungeon twice, and both times its been ascalon catacombs. 1st time epic fail, 2nd time completed
Ive spent time exploring to get access to most of the dungeons and i can be waiting outside for 20mins at a time with no one around and ive tried guesting on other servers, this is pretty dire dont you think, im not in a guild because i stupidly joined the german server at the start. Has anyone else noticed a lack of dungeon activity
Ive been playing gw2 for about 6 weeks now, thief only and im amazed at the amount of beef thieves are getting from other classes and fellow thieves. For the other classes if you cant beat them join them (create a thief) for the moaning thieves that say they arnt fun, well i think they are
As soon as i switch weapons it goes off, ive switched skill to see if it happens with the replacement skill, it dosnt. It only plays up with caltrops which i enjoy using in pve. At 1st i thought my keyboard button was jammed but after changing weapon it stops so cant be the keyboard
I dont think you can put caltrops on auto attack, it only happens with sword or shortbow so cant be auto attack
When using my s/p or shortbow the caltrops skill will go off on its own, recharge, go off again and so on. Its really frustrating, this has started since the last patch.
It limits what weapons i use, i tend to stick with d/d or d/p now to escape the bug
One thing i agree with is that the dialog is terrible, very childish.
I find myself skipping what npcs say and i dont seem to of missed anything in the missions/hearts etcs

ok guys im new to guild wars 2, ive played all the previous guild wars but im only a month into guild wars 2 and ive a level 43 norn thief.
2 things id like to ask, 1st of all why level 80, why not 100 etc. are they leaving room for expansion or something.
another thing id like to know is what do all these abbreviations mean, i havent a clue, i swear it seems like your all speaking another language.
if someone could please list all the abbreviations that you’se use starting with op id be really grateful
