I really hope the merchant stays in LA, the most expensive item costs 10g + blooms, I would bet most of the new players don’t even have a couple of gold. It’s hard for a new player to gather 10g over four days

So, I was running around, killing mobs, looking at things…you know, the usual stuff. Then I saw this (what I thought) passed out norn, and when I got closer he just started mashing his head against the pole. So I quickly grabbed my camera and started filming.

I’m planning on doing a norn-documentary, there’s so much to learn from those creatures. I don’t know if what I filmed was natural behaviour or if there were skritt in his head…

You try a standard mmo but can’t enjoy it anymore.

As the title says, I was doing CM with some friends, and we started discussing how odd it would feel to go back to a standard MMO like Everquest, WoW and Rift, where you can’t dodge and evade the enemies attacks.

Where you have to go to the bank or a vendor, when your bags are full.

Where there’s no rewards for helping other people.

Where you can’t change your whole playstyle instantly.

Well there’s alot more stuff Guild Wars does excellent compared to other mmos, lots off small things and features I now take for granted.
I know, I can’t enjoy another “standard” MMO anymore, and whether you really like Guild Wars 2 or not, the time in Guild Wars 2 is gonna leave a mark. So, could you go back to a “standard” MMO after GW2?

Id rather blow the dungeons up with a char-zooka, then actually do them. No one i know willingly wants to do a dungeon. They are hard, annoying and not worth the effort or time doing them ever.

I don’t like wasting time and having to repair my attire cause i got one shot in a dumbed down level 30 instance by a guy who is across the map hitting me for 5k when im 4 k max health. Only to get rewarded by some unusable gear that isn’t class specific or way to low a level to use.

If you’re referring to Ascalon Catacombs, then you ignored the bright fancy chargeup animation that that guy does before he uses scorpion wire. You need to dodge or block his attack. It’s not too hard to kite him solo if you’re paying attention. I know I’ve done it myself while helping friends through.

When you figured out the tactics, it was a really fun fight….as with many boss fights in GW2

No, at 30 you get a mail with directions to AC, that’s the first dungeon you can do story mode in, next at 40, 50 and so on. You have to do story mode to be able to do exploration mode.

Player housing and guild halls! The guild halls in everquest 2 were awesome, they really made the guild much more social
