A hell of a lot more then half. Between FC Olympic track team and Dh hiveminded drones this match up is bad bad bad. I’ve stop bothering to record the last few day simply because it feels like cod5 combat training in godmode.

If this is what weeks are going to be like when the season starts in the bronze league.. I am going to miss the CD/SBI/Ioj trains… This week has been garbage.

I’m sorry if I hurt anyone’s efeelings. But these bottom of the barrel servers in wvw should have the plug pulled.

Idk why people are making it a big deal, it’s not new to MMOS for guilds and such to change servers if they don’t like their current servers outlook. Say your goodbyes and keep in touch if you know someone from said guild…

With all this arguing over one tiny feature, I doubt Anet will ever put it in…. People will ultimately abuse this like GearScore was abused… But come on. Honestly, it’s a useless feature that the game has done fine without, and someone brings it up many months later, and people are quick to take sides against eachother… obviously it isn’t in the game for a reason.

This has been coming since Warriors jumped on the Hammer Wagon way back when. Our natural tankiness plus our heavy regen made us hard to deal with in a normal setting. Seriously, I found it amazing most classes could kill warriors as we CC’ed them into the dirt. Hammer itself is weak compared to most weapons, but in combination with unsuspecting Foe, we could hit anything in medium to low armor for 3k auto attacks, every 7 seconds. Plus Sigil of Para was bugged so that made things much worse. Honestly the change sucks, but all it means is I have to play a little smarter, and not harder.

Did I mention our near perma-stability and condition cleanse/immunity? I realize changes were needed because we couldn’t keep up with the condition meta, but this, with the above stated… it honestly was too much.

Raiding creates a ton of problems on gear balance. If you have increased pve gear then you need increasing pvp gear. Otherwise, your pve players end up dominating pvp which is BS. Eventually, gear becomes greater than skill in pvp which is also BS. The situation turns to junk in a heartbeat. Just say no to raiding.

OP didn’t say anything about stat progression, just skins. I sincerely hope if ANET ever did this there would be no stat progression whatsoever, no matter how small.

In WvW at the moment. Alot of Thieves are running with full BL stacks, and guard leech, applied fortitude. They steal in, 2k mug, 3.4k CnD (why a stealth skill does so much damage idk), and can backstab for 7k-9k damage depending on Armor. For heavy armor classes, that’s oh idk, for the average guard who has about 15k hp that’s instant panic mode. Warriors may panic as well, but it’s not guaranteed unless the HS crits for 4-5k on top of that (endure pain will probably save them or they’ll run away with great sword) all medium armor classes are in deep trouble, depending on armor and hp (my engie has 2700 Armor and 18k HP). My engie has been hit for 2k mugs, 3k CnD and a whopping 9k backstab, all within the 2s that the thief was invis to visible. Luckily most thieves will apply basilisk’s Venom before engaging, so I can usually stop the chain of burst if I time my shield stun properly. however I also have within that one second to apply conditions to make him back off or he will restealth and try again.

Of course, not every thief runs with such a high power creep. but even with just guard leech their instant pressure is really high. This is just from the match up from the week that just ended too.

I also realizes classes cannot be balanced around having either/or one of these buffs applied to them. Doesn’t make it less sucky.

Well it is suspicious that SBI hasn’t had their BL touched at all, and NSP is only barely being hit in theirs, yet a giant zerg is in our BL and NSP is taking our stuff in EB.

EDIT: also have two of our keeps NSP does. :/ I’m just saying, it’s suspicious. But it’s not like it hasn’t happened before. Balance of power and all, still we’re so far ahead it doesn’t really matter.

Yeah, we didn’t forge an alliance with NSP. We collect everyone’s bags and towers. SBI is much better server than Darkhaven or NSP. We do the most with the least guilds of any server on NA. Darkhaven only barely wins these matchups because of their absurd coverage after NA SBI starts going to sleep. [Abys] are professional PvD players, and only [SE] and [PD] actually know how to fight in the open field on Dumbhaven. The rest of your guilds, boy, they are embarrassing. I’d take my SBI puggers over Darkhaven guildies any day. You guys win by PvD and an abundance of guilds who specialize in it. When we have equal numbers we smash you guys.

Nice try defending Garrison on DH BL today, but as soon as we capped it [FG] showed how cowardly they are and just logged off , further proving my point that all but [SE] and [PD] are baddies. Everywhere we went on DH BL we took upgraded towers with abundance of defenders. What started out as a training run for my guild and it’s new players turned into an absolute romp and humiliation of Darkhaven. DH is nothing to be afraid of, they can’t defend their assets that have siege, waypoints, and the players to use them. They also can’t attack assets that have defenders, but get them in front of a tower or a keep with no defenders and boy, they are amazing.

My advice to Darkhaven baddies? Get into a guild who actually plays the game right, and let Prosecute from [SE] or the wise men of [PD] teach you how to play. If you want to learn some next-level ram placement in front of empty assets, join [Abys] or [BRL] – Baddies Rarely Learn.

We’ve pushed SBI off towers before, and crushed your zergs plenty of times when the numbers were even.

PvD is such a lame excuse. if playing by objectives makes us bad, then I’d rather be a baddie.

I don’t much know the skills of ours long-time DH as I only have been here for 3-4 months, but DH has very good players in Abys. We also have very good commanders though when they are available.

Please don’t act like SBI is some super mega server, otherwise you wouldn’t be here fighting us, you would be up there with Black Gate. Every server has their good players and their not-so-good, so don’t look down on us.

Coward! In other news, making a P/P Thief (don’t say that outloud or in your head) for WvW. Decided to remake him as a her. And from Human to Norn. 58 levels down the drain lololol.

MMOS are serious business. Console offline games are for fun. unfortunately when playing with other people, personalities and beliefs clash constantly, which makes it unfun. :/

Fought a bunkerish Guardian when I used to roll a hammer warrior. I could keep up with him fairly well, but hammer was too slow to actually kill him before my allies came to interrupt.

Also: usually GS/Sword-Board Guardians are predictable, and you can dance to their beat quite easily.

Howabout instead of limiting the amount of people it can be hit by, why not make it only proc off AOE once every few seconds? It will still punish people who AOE but it won’t just be so stupid easy to down necros or Fire staff Eles, who’s bar has about 3-4 AOE skills.

This game’s style of PvE revolves around 5 Zerker geared players bursting down a boss while ignoring most mechanics. You want 10 (20) more of these trying to burst down a raid style boss? For what? Skins?

Interesting idea, I like it. There doesn’t seem to be anything imbalanced with the skills. Well maybe except Earth 1, depending on how long the protection last, but that still means actually hitting your opponent with the 3rd strike. I know guards have this on their hammer 1 but it doesn’t last too long outside of the area it’s affecting.

Doors are fun to fight. Got like 300000 toughness. makes for a good fight. Like a raid boss.

Well, if you’re not willing to attack your enemy to get rid of the Blind, your options are down to a pre-emptive Berserker Stance, Signet of Stamina and waiting it out.

Waiting it out is usually the worst option beecause alot of classes are running 40% condition duration ontop of whatever duration they already have which means 5-7s of running away waiting for blind to come off which is a no no. Best option is to use your autoattack to get rid of it quickly.

Legend Tells of six individuals who roamed the Darkhaven Borderlands. They are only known as the Tough Ones. I have never seen them myself. But some say 2 of them can take down 9 enemies by themselves. WooOOOWO 2Spook4me!

Kudos to GoM for that spectacular display of Defensemanship of your keep. You guys did very well, 10/10 would siege under those conditions again.

While you have a point, we have to look at all options. We can’t just say “Well mesmer this, mesmer that…”

Please don’t play cheesy builds like Mace + shield/GS, because when the combo gets nerf to the ground, you won’t know what to do with yourself. There are so many weapons to choose one, limiting yourself to 2H is like cutting off an arm.

I honestly don’t know the point of healing power. Only in large amounts does it make a lick of difference, and most healing abilities, traits, etc heal pretty decently. It’s probably likely they are not ok with the idea of people running around in full healing power gear healing for obscene amounts. Healway guards already heal for a high amount, imagine of healing power actually scaled in a way that mattered.

No. Legendaries are useless weapon skins that aren’t actually weapon skins that cost time and money better spent elsewhere.

Let’s be honest, most people were playing Hammer because of the 3second stun every 7s. I am expecting the number of hammer trains to go down a lot. Of course I’ll still be playing hammer, it’s the only weapon I have used for a long time, so I don’t know much about any other weapon. But are people already thinking about the next build they will be using?

Shout Warriors may become a really real thing, but then again it might not. What do you all think?

Complaining about an ability that will most likely never be used, and even it does, it’s 4s on a 40s CD, which however does not negate the thief from dodging, shadowstepping away, blinding the Ranger, stunning the ranger, LoSing the ranger, outright killing the ranger, etc…. But you will counter with the same bull crap, “Waah, it’s not the fact that no one will use it, it’s the principle design that allowed, yadda yadda…” THE FACT IS…. This trait is extremely NICHE, and you will probably never see it used if at all and complaining about it is nothing short of ridiculous ranting that has no basis whatsoever.

I was a Human in WoW, I was human, or close to it… I forgot the name of the race in RIFT. I was human in multiple F2P MMOs. Human is just…. something that’s apart of me. I’ll probably always play a human now and forever until I Die.
