We’re getting to the point where nearly every class can run around doing whatever they want because they’re invincible or perma evading and there’s nothing you can do to stop them.
It’s not very fun fighting thieves who just spam dodge then randomly burst someone for 80% of their hp then go back to dodge spamming.
Yeah the game is too slow paced with too much healing and too much sustain on bruisers.
$20 for 3 bag slots cripples new players.
$10 for a single bank expansion cripples new players.
330g for 3 bag slots cripples new players.
161g for a bank slot cripples new players.
These are mandatory things you need to be able to actually play the game at this point, with so many new items and things you simply CANNOT put into material storage or don’t go into your wallet.
Trying to play a character without at least 120 bag slots is not really doable at all with how much garbage you’re constantly given. A person without any bag slot extensions will have to CONSTANTLY fix their bags, even mid opening all the AB chests. It’s a real headache and not fun. You spend more time managing inventory than acutally looting things sometimes. While having 125-160 bag slots makes it so you never have to fix your bags until you’ve played for HOURS.
It’s really not fair for new players to have to suffer through this. Before it was ok because converting to gold for the insanely overepriced things(bank/bag slots) was totally reasonable. Now we’re at the point where 3 bag slots costs as much as a precursor, which is completely out of reach for new players.
Having the expansion needs to come with 3 bank and an extra bag slot on every character at this point. $20 for 3 bag slots and $10 per bank slot is extremely overpriced, when they are no longer “luxury” and now “mandatory” due to how filled your inventory becomes. They were once fine when there wasn’t so many items clogging your inventory, and when gems weren’t insanely overpriced to convert, but not anymore.
It’s REALLY bad for new players.
The gem prices on bank and bag slots need to be rexamined with how the game is now. I’m lucky and bought all my bank and bag slots on characters when it was 80g for 800 gems.

What would make me play more is actually having enjoyable matches. Stomp or be stomped isn’t fun. Even when I’m winning I don’t have fun in spvp anymore because I could actually afk the entire match and win because the game is putting me into unlosable games.
I don’t want cash shop items for free.
I just don’t think $15 for 3 bag slots or nearly $10 for a single bank slot is reasonable.
I spent $50 on the cash shop last month. I am a supporter of buying things for real money and help anet fund the game.
You do not have to do events to get keys. You get your key back per grand chest you open.
Please stop spreading this misinformation.

Might stacking has been completely overpowered for 2 years.
ENG has been overpowered for 2 years, even without celestial amulet it would still be the best class in the game.
They do this all the time, they claim huge changes, and all we get are bug fixes and 1 thing edited in a way that makes it slightly more useful. They also pull that “next patch won’t have much, but the one after will have tons!” crap 24/7. I remember they hyped jan/feb/march for “as much content as an entire expansion”, did anyone see an entire expansion of content? A $30-40 expansion is what they said, did ANYONE see that? I didn’t.
I also remember “20+ bullet points of eng changes! Tons of classes changes!” then nothing but bug fixes for engineer, and every other class, with very few minor changes overall.
It’s going to be nothing but bug fixes, typo fixes, and rewording. Maybe edit a few traits to be slightly less useless, but still completely useless.

I wonder how they handle the “practical jokers” who name a char against TOS and craft and sell large numbers of items with the tag, for example, crafted by Kitten You or crafted by Kill All (members of minority group)? Do these names all change automatically even after they’ve been sold a few times or does the company need to spend time and money tracking them down?
Yeah we shouldn’t enable chat in game either because people might say mean words.
The matchmaking/pip system made me lose all interest in sPvP. I enjoyed sPvP a lot before the ranking system.

Laurels, time-gated and temp content were the worst ideas Anet ever had.
The entire ranger class is badly designed.
I’ve played WOW to gladiator for a bunch of seasons, and in vanilla I was a warlord.
WOW PvP in it’s current form is absolute unplayable skilless garbage.
GW2 PvP is so much better, and actually playable and skill based.
I don’t agree with you at all.
Buff other bosses to be slightly harder or equally as hard as TEQ imo.
Also remove karka queen entirely.

There is indeed a bunch of hearts without enough things to do and they’re tedious and boring.
Nerfing ele’s damage further would make the class really boring to play imo. d/d playstyle is already boring enough as is.
Well maybe that way eles would try to spend some traits into offensive traitlines and use offensive amulets?
Not possible because anet intentionally designed ele to be extremely squishy but gave them traits/utilities to be tanky, aka forced into 6 water 6 arcane 3 cantrips until the end of time.
It’s not humanly possible to create a matchmaking system that can figure out how skilled you really are at the game as a single player.
They need to make ranked premade vs premade only, that is the only way a matchmaking system can actually work. If it’s seeing how good you are as a 5 man team, it’s much easier to find another equally skilled 5 man team.
I’ve seen 5 bugged events still after playing for 3 days coming back from a 4 month break. This is unacceptable, I do not care how often you are adding content, the fact that old content still bugs out, almost 1 year later, and new content you release is constantly bugged and does not work properly is not right.
Also the quality of the past 2 content updates(null/canach + karka queen) were that of something someone made in RPG maker. I’ve seen better bosses and mechanics in a RPG maker game than Null, Canach, and the Karka queen. Karka queen is the worst open world boss in the game, basically being a veteran/champion karka with a boring mechanic that makes no sense and is a total pushover with no real strategy or skill involved. The temple bosses were much harder, and tons of other boses were too.
If the quality of stuff you are adding is going to diminish because you are trying to update the game too quickly, then please either hire more people, or update slower and spend more time creating content. I would prefer quick, bug-free, well designed content every 2 weeks(PSO2 does this, PSO2’s content also is permanent and they add much more and much better content, also a 100% free to play game and not buy to play), but if that is not possible please make better quality content at a slower pace.
I think one of the reasons for gating laurels back when it was introduced was in your post.

If laurels weren’t gated, when ascended gear came out players like you would have quickly crafted it then stopped playing. By slowing progress, it keeps these players logging on longer. There wasn’t a reason for ANet to make laurels farmable because players like you would have made their ascended gear and stopped playing faster. Not a plus for them and not healthy for the game.
More people I know quit from things being time-gated than they do from running out of things to do.
And then content locust as that what i see when you say devoted players will turn around and say
- Now what I got all that there is to get in the game and nothing else left to do give me MORE.
Or quit the game another 9 months while they wait for content.A devoted player is like me who played most of of the last two years with breaks now and then, Im sitting on 550 laurels atm and can do the content when ever I want.

As I said. every hardcore player I’ve ever known to play MMO’s has always quit more due to time-gated lock outs than have quit due to burning out.
Time gated stuff is bad design.

Key words “As soon as possible”, an ele/warrior will be applying poison in the 1v1 before teammates arrive, meaning the target will be lower health from less healing. That gives the ele/warrior an advantage they shouldn’t have because their class isn’t supposed to have this condition in the first place.
Doom sigil is completely and utterly broken beyond belief because it gives access to one of the strongest debuffs in the entire game with nearly 100% uptime to classes that are NOT supposed to have access to it.
You also need to remember how powerful poison is on downed bodies, where you used to go out of your way to make sure to poison the bodies with actual skills/abilities, but now you “accidently” poison them all the time on classes that shouldn’t even have access to the debuff.

Dire P/D is the easiest, cheesiest, most disgustingly overpowered and self-disgracingly skill-less build currently in WvW small-scale.
Build needs removed from the game entirely.
Auric basin chests after the octovine are lootable by anyone, even people who did not participate in the event. I think this is a bug because it means you can hop between maps after the meta completes and get 3-4x the intended loot amount. Lots of people are doing this and I feel that it’s upsetting the economy.
There’s zero reason not to nerf skills in PVP only, they’ve done it MANY times before. What’s the problem?
