It’s a shame really, BG/JQ are NA servers with NA guilds but yet they force us to PvDoor. Sounds like a server with a lot of heart!

I find it hilarious that people willingly choose to fight doors/guards and then turn around and complain about fighting doors. Or how 120man EU guilds move to NA brackets that have very little dedicated EU playerbase then complain about not getting good fights.

at the moment if you do not watch your back you are dead if a warrior hits you. If they are not kiteable you will die every time to them.

Well according to the T2 thread, WM is confirmed to BG. Should be an interesting matchup once they are over.

I think WM fields a lot less numbers than they used to. They’re probably still effective though.

Anyhow, unless they into PvD it would be a mistake on their part to move on BG especially if Foo becomes a non-factor. BG already has the strongest presence during that time slot.

Your writing style makes my head hurt. As for WvW, if all you do is run and press 1, you aren’t playing correctly. The skill of zerg fighting is knowing when to engage, how far to push, and having a plan to get back out. The best zergs are typically dominated by one guild who have a variety of supporting builds. They are actually quite coordinated with their skill and gear choices.

Yeah okay, that is a lot of pretty words to disguise the fact that zerging is pressing 1, spamming AoEs and CC and spamming necro wells/marks.

Ah, so that must be why KN took every single thing in TC BL.

Most things in WvW now revolve around portals. I remember when defense used to actually matter in the meta game, now any good defense can be broken with a single mesmer laying a portal down in the lords room. I remember defending lords rooms for 3 hours before portals become so common that even commanders have pugs do them now. The commander just needs a reliable mesmer, he then says “PORTAL STACK HERE” and the pugs listen and go through the portal when its ready to be used. I hate the way it is now.

edit: Obvious culling issues play a big part in this. It remains to be seen if they are so effective once culling is fixed. Unfortunately its been going on for months with no progress made. I also like the idea behind portals but it has made wvw stagnant lately, its all about who can portal bomb first.

This game is terribly optimized, I hope Anet is continuing to work on the performance.

Just remember TC, BG was your first true love.

Anyone else remember the gleeful posts 2 weeks ago of “R.I.P. BG” and “BG Is dead and will be in tier 3 in a few weeks” over and over? The death of BG has been claimed so many times now that I’ve lost count. And BG has proven them wrong, every kitten time.

What I do not understand is why these transferred guilds did not go over to SoR. It would have made for a much better and close matchup. BG already had decent coverage and SoR was lacking. WM and others stated they transferred because the fights got boring, well I do not really see much of a difference now. Same thing just different tier. I think if they would have gone to SoR, it would of been better for everyone involved.

You do not get anything for winning anyways and the only thing left it to have good clean even fights. Perhaps it is just me, but to each their own I guess. Congrats BG on the win this week

Are you forgetting that SoR beat BG? And according to SoR players no overtime was put in, no server pushes were put in and none of the NA guilds were trying to carry your night time coverage. Since SoR fully admits WvW is all about coverage, you had better coverage then BG hence why you came in 2nd for a few weeks. You had better coverage then BG when KN guilds decided to move here.

3 way faction is supposed to stop the top server from overwhelming the other two. Except that NEVER HAPPENS, it is always a double team on the 2nd server or the 3rd server.

1 guy complaining about 2v1 in 1 post and yet 15 of you had to respond to this 1 guy LOL. No wonder no one reads these threads anymore.

SoR clearly still has the best EU coverage by a mile.

Maybe these forum warriors should start worrying about their own server before lecturing JQ on what they should or shouldn’t do?

I would definitely recommend Kaineng for a few simple reasons, they have good Oceanic coverage, they have been nothing but respectful and they don’t forum troll and become sor,e losers when they lose!

Please keep in mind that SoR wasn’t doing much before IRON came to your server with almost two full guilds, leavign SoR with an EU presence that can cover a 40+ man zergs on 3 different maps at the same time. Now I am not down playing any of you guys on SoR and congrats on this weeks win and last weeks win, I think it is much deserved for you guys. Although lets not forget it is only becuase of IRON you guys are in the position you are in. Any how grats on winning.

Props to IRON. Not to try and take anything away from them, but SoR was T1 for a reason before they came over. The issue is, we probably received one of the best EU guilds in the game, as well as already having some of the best NA guilds, and I guess that coverage and how well IRON fits with SoR just screwed over the other 2 servers. Hopefully BG/JQ get some other good EU servers, and we can have full coverage all around for all 3 servers.

An answer I think Anet made for this was the upcoming patch where it may be easier to drop and gain a tier. This will stop a lot of transfers, which affect the fluctuation of how un/covered you are. People may still transfer, but I doubt quite as frequently.

Sounds like Anet is trying to destablize servers to promote server hopping and profit$. Well played Anet.
