Bring some stability or something.
Adapt and overcome.
There is no reason to boycott anything. If you don’t like it, don’t play it. Simple as that. The rest of us will still be thankful we can get this good of an mmo without a sub fee.

In regards to Halloween update :
I agree, it was done a little sloppy. But
A : Im enjoying it, and im sure others are too, and
B : You are not paying for it. So your getting nothing for nothing, get it?
Trait requirements :
This is incentives for people to get back into the world, I was tired of empty maps, even AFTER Megaserver got launch it was still a problem.
So please stop complaining and just BUY the traits with GOLD if you REALLY are struggling, you have NO grounds to complain about it unless you did not have the option to buy it for relatively little in game gold.
The Megaserver which discriminates against guilds ? WUT?
This ALMOST makes me dismiss you as a troll, but I will humour you, elaborate?
Ascended implementation :
Not sure how this is discriminating to alts? Elaborate?
Storyline :
A VERY valid point, your first one in your whole post, this is DEFINITELY a cause for concern and I agree needs to be fixed NOW.
Pandering to China :
Elaborate?
So I personally just think your post is a rant, but as said, I will humour you.
VALIDATE your concerns, don’t just name them.

you wanna know why it takes so long?
the workers are so dumb that they don’t even know how to use a tool properly, i even have prove.
they hit rock with the side of the pickaxe, not with the pointy part -_-
People keep complaining about this without thinking just a little bit.
When you bought GW2, you paid for the content that was released at that time. Every game change or fix is a given maintenance.
Everything else, be it living story or whatever, is a completely new content. Any normal company would put this on purchase, but Anet is being friendly by giving it to us for free during the first 2 weeks.
So instead of whining how you have to pay for new content (it’s like whining about having to pay for WoW expansions or whatever)
You can just log in during the two free weeks, You don’t even have to play, just log in for a second and log back out, you have 2 weeks for that
People who complain about this make me feel like they go to the mall and complain something costs money while it was on discount a month ago.

FOR THE TAIMI!
i don’t know who you are.
I don’t know what you want.
If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money.
But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career.
Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.
If you let my Taimi go now, that’ll be the end of it.
I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kitten you.
this message is for Anet.

Hey GW2 players, GW2 developers and Arenanet Staff.
I just wanna say thank you for making this amazing game. Thank you for supporting us so fast, for your hard work, for making a world with amazing play features, good loadscreens, stuning scenarios, awesome videos. For being so original. For working so hard for us.
Thank for being part of one of the best entertainment moments I have everyday, since 23 August 2012. And please, just ignore the haters. Put them in their place.
Anyway, was just this I wanted to say.
Thanks <3

First of all, hello everyone, I would like to present a few credentials about myself and explain the purpose of this topic.
I am not a native English speaker (you might notice that perhaps), I’ve been a player of GW2 since 2012 Wintersday, I have 24 years old, my current occupation is university (I study engineering), and I worked 5 years for an private server of another MMO developing content (which I don’t consider by any mean a professional enviroment, but I tried my best to use it as a learning experience).
Today I want to do something I might not be entitled to do, but I hope the person I will speak off forgives me for that, if it bothers him.
I bet many of you know the youtube showcaster WoodenPotatoes, and since I’ve seen the team of ArenaNet recruiting some community members, I would like to speak about WP. Before I elaborate, I have to make clear that I do not know WP personally, have never spoken to him, never seen him ingame either.
Talking solely based on the content of his videos and podcasts, his opinions about content, his research on GW and GW2 content, analysis and conclusions, I must say that he appears to have the most essential qualities of game developing: the ability to watch yourself as you experience content, the ability to draw bright conclusions over game mechanics problems or community reactions toward content, the display of logical and realistic ideas toward improving the game, good memory and extense knowledge of ingame lore, and overall being very resourceful, without mentioning his charisma and ability to present things that are not “the cup of tea” of most players, and yet, making those things interesting to many.
I do not know if WP has any interest at all in being a game developer, but I think that ArenaNet could benefit a lot from his talent, being it by schooling him in this trade or just inviting him to participate more (if not already) into game testing or even taking his advice.
Again, I might not (certainly not) be entitled to say this, but I find ArenaNet the place where “things happen”, they’ve showed us many times that they are willing to rebel against the established, and by doing so, advancing game developing (at least in MMOs) years if not more, so, I think it’s worth the try to say this, and if anyone else agrees with me, to say so too. You never know, maybe if both parts are willing, it can happen.
I hope you can forgive any typo, or missuse of your language, and if this offended or bothered someone, I am very sorry, I just want the best for this game, which has given me hours and hours of fun and learning.
Actually, I really DON’T get what the “double legendary” side is grumping about.
NOTHING was taken away away from you. You are owed absolutely nothing, and anything you’ve gotten should have been received graciously. In fact, functionality was ADDED for you. You’re kittened because you feel someone else got MORE.
There’s a word for that. It starts with “e” and ends in “ntitled.”
I’m pretty sure it’s NEVER “good enough” for some….

Due to various balancing and server load issues, it’s unlikely we’ll ever see the condition cap removed or separate condition stacks for each player, so I had a crazy thought: how about condition bursts?
The basic idea is that you still have a cap on condition damage, but once the cap is hit the condition stack will instantly “burst” for its damage multiplied by remaining time left on the stack (so that condition damage and condition duration would remain desirable stats); once the condition has burst, it will wipe the condition and allow players to start building stacks again (possibly with a short buff that prevents additional stacks of that particular buff from being applied for a couple seconds, to mitigate possible condition burst spam).
This would allow multiple condition build characters to participate in group events without becoming uselessly redundant, provide a means for said characters to burst those massive HP pools that bosses enjoy, and introduce a new cooperative dynamic beyond the standard combos.
Of course, I understand that this would make conditions even more devastating in PvP/WvW, so perhaps instead of a straight damage * remaining time burst, it can be a burst for a percentage of health (of which is determined by condition damage and duration stats).
Or maybe I’m just babbling and should get some rest.
