Bumping a 3 month old thread because I am that desperate.
The months are passing and still no stalwart.
It is unfourtunate enough I have not been playing at the time the skins were available but I finally want to finish my complete look and I am missing the shoulders.
Dear Anet, Is it not possible to activate the reward tracks again? Or just simply put in into the gem store, I dont mind. I mean, its all here, nothing new to develop. Just reactive it again please
“Stalwart armor is a mostly unobtainable armor set. The chestpiece can be obtained by completing the level 39 personal story step on any medium armor wearing class. Each of the 3 chestpieces offered have the same skin, so players can choose any of them. All other pieces of the set are currently unobtainable, except by players who unlocked the skins during the old PvP reward system.”
I do have a helmet (wich i got from PvP) and the coat (personal story reward). Personal story do have a rewards as the Stalwart’s armor pieces (boots and gloves) but their skins are not truely Stalwart’s one. Only the name. I realize that some thing in this game should be unic or realy hard to obtain, but deleting completely is not an option, in my homble opinion.
Hope ANet will post their Answer here. Realy hope.

Reports instantly bring a GM’s attention to the scene. Tickets aren’t immediate enough for some situations.
I just want “report” to also auto-block. When reporting gold sellers, a second step to block their spam from the chat window really shouldn’t be necessary.
For those people objecting on the basis that this could be abused by incorrectly or maliciously reporting other players: that already happens.
People already report anyone they think is hacking or exploiting the game, or for other things which don’t fit into the categories. They just use a different option. (I think ‘scamming’ is usually used for hackers and exploiters.)
But it doesn’t matter because Anet is not nearly stupid enough to make the reporting system automated. Reporting someone does not get them banned, or even suspended. All it does is alert someone at Anet to look into the situation. It’s then up to that staff member (or maybe a group of them if it’s not clear-cut) to make a decision and take whatever action they think is appropriate. Which can be nothing, or even to suspend or ban the reporter if it’s obviously abuse of the report function.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
No , I dont want to turn this game in another LOL stuff
Before you propose things, you need to know the pros and the cons like ANYONE can use the report system
ANYONE: Kids , Mindless train people , Elitist in dungeons , Gold Sellers , anyone who is angry etc…
Just send a ticket with the report.

Second suggestion:
In many online games I played, there is also a second section in report dialogue window, where you can write a small description (usually with character limit 1000 letters) where you can further describe any usefull information about the reported activity (for example exact location or improved description of abusive activity). I think it would be a good improvement if GW2 report dialogue window have this text section too.
They are fully aware there is no input field for text. This is as intended. In my opnion they just feel they will know how to handle every situation and players are not capable of providing useful information and it will leave them open to snide remarks.
Legitimate example: I ran across a player in PvP with a racial slur for a pet name, yet I can’t report that. I can report the player for an inappropriate character name. If I do that I could receive penalties myself for a false report, since the character name was fine. No place in the dialogue popup to explain the report further. Anet knows this.
smack..Wut?…smack…smack…
I don’t think I have a single character with Bezerker stats, yet they are all still alive!
I just hope you’re not using zerker for your Tequatl runs.
The problem is very straightforward-
1. More conditions gives diminishing returns in a party, so physical damage is safer
2. Defense is more active while offense is more passive
3. Mobs have high health and slow/heavy attacks, meaning dodging is pretty much always better than absorbing
It’s rather absurd they haven’t attempted to address this yet. Still, conditions are very viable in solo play (I am pursing the new Sinister set for my Thief) and having some additional health and toughness can be helpful as you can’t possibly avoid all incoming damage.
I want to know if you are happy about the way the game is now, or if you want it to be more diverse, I don’t have nothing against zerk, I just want to feel useful while using other stats
If by diversity you meant more interesting stat options, sure. But that’s not what we have with gear choices in this game. We have Damage———Survival with a full range of things in between. You can pick your ratio.
If we were talking a stat that made your control effects more potent, or made your utilities last longer/refresh sooner. Then sure, that could be interesting… but again that’s not what our gear does. That’s what our Traits and what not do.
Base gear again is our damage and survival scaling.
Then we have Runes/Sigils which are much of that but also some of the more interesting effects.
Then we have traits, this is where the bulk of the interesting and fun choices come, and I think they do a pretty good job giving us options.
People need to look at their Traits, Sigils and Runes for their diversity. You can do a lot of the support things better with off meta trait selections alone. I mean take an average group through a dungeon running meta with a 45005 gs+sw/f build, then just change the guard to run Hammer 33044 build, you’ll do less damage on that guard, but the amount of support you offer, my god. It’s incredibly noticeable how much easier things will go. Then just for fun, change that guard to 46202 gs+sw/f build and do it a third time. See how much you struggle. (choose a dungeon where condi cleanse is needed, not like COE wher 46202 is incredibly easy to run
).
Your versatility and support are there, it’s just mostly in traits. What’s wrong with that?

I don’t fit into that general response of “no” either. I like the “mounts” we have.
Someone mentioned that they don’t want any speed increase to their carpet for example. That is ok, but personally I want that universal 5%. Do I need it? No. All of my character run at speeds greater than this but if the kites in dry top have it already then why not these other pseudo mounts?
Adding Kites, Brooms, Carpets, etc just seem like fun to me. They are there in the game, and for some of the kites they give you a little something extra special.
What do you mean with “general”? I don’t belong into that group.
Here’s what I suggested they do. Easy fix!
So the main issue is that you don’t want unscrupulous players passing themselves off as official ANet employees?
Simple solution:
Add a new NPC to each major city near the bank. His nametag will display Safe Otto [Safety Commissioner]. It will also display the ANet logo just like an actual employee of ArenaNet.
When you talk to him, his dialogue will point out the logo, and explain that anyone without this logo is not an official representative of the company.
Simple! (And if anyone already has the name “Safe Otto”, they will be okay to keep it since the restriction against using NPC names can now be lifted).
You’re welcome.
EDIT: You could also make ANet employees much more visible. I have never seen anyone flying the logo. REQUIRE your employees to fly the logo while on the clock, and encourage them to do so while playing at home. (Give them an auto-block ability for whispers from anyone not on their friends list, along with a polite message informing the whisperer that his message didn’t go through). If they were commonplace, then the logo tipoff would be obvious, and they’d be harder to impersonate.
…And yes, I had a GW1 Monk named “Safe Otto”
Set a man on fire, and he’ll be warm the rest of his life.

You just have to go with a name that is really obscure.
Ascalonian Peasant. He was my favourite.
Engineer kits just need to be converted into fanny packs then everyone will be happy
heh, almost forgot about the engi’s, yes you will then be able to get custom skins for your engi turrets.
we don’t want turret skins, we just want that horrible hobosack off our backs everytime we use a kit XD
fair enough, what about custom skins for your kit backpacks?
nooooooo, we just want to be able to hide the kit backpacks so we can show off our own back items that we worked hard to make XD
what about combining them, back packs on kits can use all normal backpack skins
heh, almost forgot about the engi’s, yes you will then be able to get custom skins for your engi turrets.

This is the main way path of exile makes its money and it does a pretty good job. I’m sure Anet will pick up on it sooner or later
Playing GW2 is really fun and has much joy but can sometimes get a bit boring, almost everyone has the same pet or the same summon and it makes you look like yet another pawn on the chess board.
What I would like to suggest are skins for any summon/pet/minion in the game, they would be still within the boundaries of it’s respectful category.
Pet skins
pet skins are skins for the ranger pet you normally can’t get in the open world, this can go from animals yet to be added to skins from GW1 to skins from monsters.
What if you want to have a raptor as pet, you can’t get them in the wild but with this skill system you can.
Just think of a pet skin and you can get it, just imagine walking around with a dolyak for your norn or an oakheart for your sylvari, you name it.
Summon skins
summon skins are skins for any summon on any profession that has a creature as summon, like the fire imp from the elementalist or a shadow thief from the thief.
It will now be possible to make your summons look the way you want it to look, may it be a destroyer as fire imp or a geode as earth gollem, you decide.
Minion skins
minion skins are skins for the necromancer minions, away with the boring flesh skeletons and hello wonderful skins.
Have a grenth/lich king float beside you instead of a flesh horror or take a ranger risen as bone fiend, it’s your choice how they look.
Just imagine sending risen asura at your enemy and exploding them in their faces, the joy
banner skins
banner skins changes the borders (wood part) of your banner, now you can conquer your enemies with style.
Gear up your warrior with Nordic banners or smite them with dwayna’s blessing, you make it happen…..in style.
Illusion colors
illusion colors are colors to change the color of illusions for the mesmer, all colors are possible.
Now you can have illusions matching your armor or play as one of your favorite fantasy hero/villain, the choice is yours to make.
All skins can be changed in a skin tab on your hero screen (H on default), here you can manually change and manage all skins/colors.
Skins earned in-game are character unlocks, skins from the gem store are account unlocks.
You can preview all skins before applying and changing mesmer colors already shows an illusion next to it in the change color tab to clearly see the effect before applying.
This is idea is worth a lot of money. I smell a new cash-cow.
It’s ironic how the berserker’s stat is the only viable stat, almost in the whole game, still there’s a huge diversity of gear attributes that could enhance the gameplay quality.
Healing power is almost useless, etc.. We don’t need the holy trinity, we just need the freedom to choose how our caracter will play. For instance, I would like to be capable to heal my teammates decently with a ele, even if that meant that my dps would be almost “invisible”, or that I could do a tanky build with my warrior and in fact help the rest of the players and don’t feel useless
Thank you
About the emotes : I suggest we start first by implementing all the missing emotes from GW1.
You know stuff like /bored /yawn /taunt /flex and so on….

I would love those. =) There could be multiple Drama Guides/Tomes.
