Suggestion: Beds

I’m not sure why they didn’t include beds as decor. I want asura hammocks. Sylvari have flowery hammocks, too. Norn beds are super cool. I think char just sleep on their rugs? Humans can have some nice beds, if boring. Still, why not include them when they’re around in the rest of the game?

I love Guild halls, I LOVE decorating, I LOVE Making bull kitten bars, taverns, hospitals, houses, and all kinds of just generic geometry in the guild hall but one thing I can’t do is plop beds for these houses. ;-; I would love to put my Asura in a GLORIOUS NORN BED, instead of using a fancy table + Green pillow to pretend while I afk.

Suggestion box!- beds ;-; I love em, I love those sexy fur’s.

Here is the 38 page [Merged] English forum thread on April Fool 2015 with people complaining about April Fools and accusing ANet of insensitivity for not thinking of that plane crash. Once I read the complaints had made ANet go to the forums and apologize, I figured they would stop April Fools as there’s no way for them to know in advance what joke is going to blow up in their face.

Wait, that was April Fools 2015?

I was sure it was Desert Borderlands.

Airship Pass “Ultimate Inconvenience”.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee, in addition to https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Suggestions-Quality-of-Life-Changes/6529472

Can Dobbs and Mossi also be included to help make Legendaries in the Airship.

This together with a simple PvP lobby/WvW style exit back to same map would make this item useful and desirable. Which means more people would buy it and Anets ratings would go up even higher.

Best Regards.

Airship Pass “Ultimate Inconvenience”.
I want to give some feedback. I just purchased a Permanent Airship Pass for a friend but both he and I are bitterly disappointed in it.

It is not the “Ultimate in Convenience”.

Both of us expected to be able to exit the Airship and be back where we came from (like the PvP lobby works). However we are moved away from our original map to Glendaren Fields. There is no convenience in that. Our expectation was to nip into the Airship, do some crafting, trading whatever and then exit and continue. However it is the same as going to Lions Arch, in that you have to leave your current Map and can not simply continue!!!!

Can Anet add a simple exit (like PvP)? So that the character returns to their original Map. Then it will be “Ultimate in Convenience” instead of the “Ultimate Inconvenience”. As it is, it is worthless and something we regret buying.

Regards

FYI, http://gw2timer.com/ now has a “gemstore” feature that you can register what item you are interested in, which will alert you if it returns.

I’m not certain how it’s powered, but it might help you get notification about something you want?

[Suggestion] Desired reoccurring NPCs

Svennis.3852

There are several NPCs I’d love to see return to the story of GW2, even in small ways. I figured I would post about those here; anyone who’d like to add some characters they would also like to see return are welcome!

Malyck – The Harbinger from the Ch. 2 sylvari storyline. He came from “other lands” but could not remember where, had no connection to the pale tree or the grove and had no knowledge of the dream. I was always so fascinated by the storytelling potential there, and really wanted to explore his origins. Since he headed west into the the Heart of the Maguuma at the end of Ch. 2, it’s presumable that his tree might be the dead one in VB. But we never saw him again nor got any confirmation that he was indeed related to this dead grove. I would love for him to show up again, maybe joining Dragon’s Watch or even incidentally participating in S3 (like Demmi did).

Aid Worker Sya – I would really like to see this character grow beyond “random NPC that sits in Lion’s Arch doing nothing.” Being an aid worker, it would make total sense for them to follow the living story/expansions as disasters happen in different parts of the world. Even if Sya is mostly a side character or background flavoring, it’d be cool to see her travelling all over the world to help people in need, similar to a Red Cross aid worker. I would love for her to become a member of Dragon’s Watch, too, but just giving her more of a presence/life in general would be amazing. Lake Doric feels like a missed opportunity in this regard, as it would have made perfect sense for her to travel there to help all the people who were affected by the White Mantle attack.

Deborah – the Human PC’s sister (if the missing sister origin is chosen). I’d really love to feel like Deb is an active part of my character’s life, even if it’s just an occasional letter we get in the mail updating us on her status. Faren has remained a big NPC that has spanned through expansions and living stories – it feels like Deb deserves a similar treatment. Even if she just follows the plot as a member of the Vigil, it’d make sense to have her move around as the plot happens.

Assuming they never readdress any Malyck storyline (which makes no sense to me) they should have had just some random, normal strength mordrem in the Dragon’s Stand meta have his name. That alone will give closure to his story.

I just want to know why female asura out of all choices use the male version of that.

Can we get standardization on female/male options for female characters? It’s kinda weird seeing a shirtless female asura with nipple piercings.

wow, I feel like a creep for just having seen that screenshot, I am happy that female charr are covered in furr, but a half naked female asura looks weird on way to many levels.

Those Poor Black Lion NPCs

I don’t see why we need to be concerned about them except as they are a symptom of a larger problem. They’re obviously short term contract workers from another dimension whose visa expired and they were deported back to their native reality. The Queen should be asked that a committee be formed to investigate if all taxes are being paid and if the visas were legally submitted and processed. I suspect Mr Gnashblade has not paid all taxes or followed all rulings since he’s so anxious to get his employees out of reach of any questions once their job is finished.

This sounds like it should be a story arc, where we’re sent in to infiltrate and investigate the working conditions and practices of the Black Lion Trading company. No doubt we’ll discover, and have to stop, the use of an ancient inter-dimensional magic that’s creating rifts between worlds to bring workers through illegally. Who knows, maybe all the ley stuff happening is a side effect of it all? Perhaps the Black Lion Trading company are the real threat to Tyria!

Put the dragons on hold, this should be the new living story arc xD

Doesn’t anyone find that disturbing that the Black Lion company is working its workers to death!?! Literally.

I think you’re tying yourself up in knots worrying about Evon Gnashblade’s technological innovation, a mail carrier that looks like a person. They aren’t working their employees to death, they are conserving energy by allowing the projection to expire.

Yeah, they’re just charr pretending to be workpeople.
It’s perfectly legit. No one didn’t get what they deserved.

We’re actually summoning Mist workers, former members of the Black Lion Trading Company that expired when originally establishing the trade routes. With a bit of necromancy, we are able to summon them back temporarily to exchange goods for money. So it’s not so much that they die but are returned to the Mists.

It’s just some poor old lady making her way in the world as best she can.
Her husband, not in sight. (Where is he?)
Her kids, who knows. (I’m sure they grew up and moved out)
No dogs or cats anywhere in the area. (Coincidence)
That little village seems to be somewhat short of people (perhaps they are traveling)
Yet she is pleasingly plump. Very well fed. She’s getting her meals from somewhere.
No doubt that long, sharp knife is used to dig up onions.

Working as intended

A giant glider isn’t a giant glider but rather a giant advertisment in the sky. The glider taking up half your screen swallowing up asuran a and small children is the ultimate Pingas Wars glider. Especially with its hippie tie dye paint job. It can’t be ignored so people will see it and might buy one themselves.

I don’t mind it though as I use the floral glider myself bit of glider diversity never hurt anyone

Suggestion: Optional charr walk/run animation

What it really should be is upright/2-legged animation for normal running, all-fours for boosted running (i.e. swiftness).

Still won’t fix NPCs, as they never run on all fours.
