Yeah, I just hit it doing the balthazar meta events in Orr. Seriously, Anet, are you really going to punish people for playing the game the way you freaking designed it?

Playing as an asuran Ele i have noticed something, we have NO spell like elites. Our too main elites are tornado form, which usually gets us killed because it puts us into melee, and Fiery Greatsword, which also gets us killed because it puts us into melee. OUr other option is Summon Greater Elemental, which gets us killed because it agros everything.

So… Where is our elite firestorm or something? Why didn’t we get a glyph of superior elemental storm calling that called a truly effective comet, avalanche, lightning bolt, boulder or whatever that did stuff that was actually useful? Seriously, I love my ele but I find myself NEVER EVER using any of my elites as they just get me killed.

The respawn rate is extremely high….IF you are an Ele.

I think it is an ele thing tbh. I love Ele and it will always be my main but between BWE2 and BWE3 Anet kittened the crap out of them. Mesmers kind of have the same problem but I think that is due to them being the last profession added and therefore they need a lot more balancing.

Here is an anecdote from what I have seen as a level 80 Ele in Cursed Shore: There is a skill point there that is within a maze that I needed, so rather than fight all the mobs on the way, of which there are a ton, I chose to run because the respawn rate would get to me eventually… I get there and there are like 3 mobs on me and the boss for the skill point is standing there in it’s event already but no one is there. I try clearing the mobs but as an Ele 3 mobs is waaaaaaaaay too much and I end up dying. Well, I just lay there because this skill point is kind of a pain in the butt to get to so I hope someone comes along. Lo and behold here comes a Guardian screaming in with 3 more mobs on him he had about half his health left when he got there and then proceeds to DECIMATE all the mobs, all freaking 6 of them, while fending off the boss. He un-aggros the boss and rezzes me and I mentioned to him that what he did was insane, and he says to me, “yeah, Guardians are so OP. lol”

Really, the respawn rate is kind of insane (looking at you too, dredge), but I think some of it is that the later areas are just so untuned that everything still needs a ton of balancing.

Seriously, the Temple of Balthazar has never had it’s karma vendor available pretty much since launch because the southern army just never goes anywhere. I would love to get my armor pieces but can’t. Awesome times.

This is still a problem in Sanctum of Rall. I would LOVE to buy Temple of Balthazar armor but it is freaking bugged, along with almost all of the other temples and DEs on all three Orr maps.

Pretty much. I think you can fully kit yourself out with exotic armor for about 10 gold.

Don’t you mean ALL crafting disciplines? Oh, and be a super badkitten in WvW, AND get 200 skill points AND have at least 500k in Karma AND a bunch of other things that most of us are not likely to do ever. I guess that is why they are legendary.

My favorite area so far is Frostgorge Sound. It had Kodan and their awesome ship cities, and the Claw of Jormag event. It is my favorite level 80 area by far. Orr is turrble. Not because of what it looks like, even though it looks so blah to me, but because it is such a pain in thekitten to play in and half the events are still broken.

The drop rate for badges right now is laughable. I had killed over a hundred players yesterday and I have a grand total of 17 badges of honor. I know this because I just started playing WvW yesterday and that is the kill total I have. What is with that? Is it bugged? Or is getting any type of exotic armor in game supposed to be so frustrating that you buy gems and action house the crap?

It is crap like this thread that kind of makes me wish ANet just kept the forums closed.

I went to complete the Mount Maelstrom map today and found I couldn’t because 3 of the skill points were bugged out. When I asked in chat they said the best thing to do is wait for reset or transfer to get them. Both options are just bad.

The end mission rewards are bugged out? How can ANet let something so simple be bugged. I also understand that for a lot of people that the level 78 quest is still freaking bugged out and a lot of people still can’t complete their personal story. I am on level 72 I think but after hearing this crap I may just play an Alt until things get sorted because some of this stuff is ridic.

I love you ANet, butkitten you should have had a real beta test!

The line that made me laugh was in On Red Alert when the Asura security hologram asks you to please enjoy the soothing music while you are being annihilated. The music killed me.

The story line isn’t technically bugged, you just have to stand in the green circles for the boss to show up. Doing that when you are alone is prettykittenhard, at least as an Ele it was.

As for getting zerged at that waypoint… There is a DE there that if it fails Risen take over that camp right at the waypoint. I guess if you just run up to the instance marker and hit enter you will get in.

This worked, but is also stupid.

I would assume that you really need to use the master trait book before the grandmaster. Otherwise, what would be the point of making tiers if you can still choose which one you are going to unlock? Makes no sense.

Yup, going to bring this back to top as I can’t progress with my main at this point. It has been almost 5 days. I know there are many bugs but right now it feels like we are all still beta testing the frigging game. Love ya Anet, but this amount of game breaking bugs that block progress on a vital part of your game is getting ridiculous.

I would like to point out that out of the last 5 personal story quests I have done that 4 of them had a bug that caused me to restart and ultimately made me find work arounds, like finding invisible ritual rings, or shooting at invisible dimension domes that all of a suddenly disappeared.

Getting really annoying.

And it is blocking my progress. Herboza the Wretched just doesn’t show up. I don’t know if there is a trick but I have been all around that stupid zone and the boss just never appears. I am now level 61 and would like to get on with the story.
