@Illushia the night Elves were not part of the Naaru group. Their source of power come from Elune herself. The rest of them yes. But I see where you going with is. I hated blizzard doing this like that a specially when it’s comes to theTauren who at one upon a time they had a tribe who where call the sun walkers who draw their powers from the sun which blizzard changed said they draw it fom the Naaru thus they can be paladins. The blood elf I can accept with the way they explain it but till it still sounded wrong anyway.

I hate duelling system. Reason because you can get a moment of peace without someone requesting to duel with you. Why would you want to inspect someone gear. Why can’t you just whisper them and asked them nicely what gear they got on. Some of the guild function is not complete and am guessing will be getting some upgrade soon. What the hit point system do for you. Is not like it will help you kill anything faster. I for one do not want to know how much hit point my enemy has.

I have to agree with the OP, evening leather work at low – mid level I haven’t seen any type of leafy design in them. The same can be said for tailoring.

The Nightmare Court is not noble by any stretch of the imagination. They are quite evil in their methods and at their core, but the idea of ‘freeing the Sylvari from a life without true purpose’ is not inherently evil either.

I love the Nightmare Court because of that dichotomy between good and evil. There’s a wide range within the Court.

I have to agree with zephyr to get the whole pic about the nightmare court one must play through Act with wisdom, but act, All thing have the right to grow, where life goes so too should you. This give you the clear understand of what the nightmare court are really about and if giving the chance they will burn the pela tree to the ground.

Why are people not using carnivorous appetite. That way no matter what pet you use they gain health back on crit. My pet reg health quickly that a can believe that a feline can tank.

Ah Firstborn armour I have to get one

Well I have to agree, it feels like people don’t take the time to formulate a tactical plan how to over come a difficult mobs in the storyline. Yes I have die a lot in my personal of my Elementalist, and Mesmer. I alway try different tactical plan to see which works best on which mob. I have it easy on my main who is a Ranger. Most personal story you have a NPC with you. Let them tank he boss and always take the add out quickly. Don’t forget to resurrect the fallan NPC it makes thing more easier to.

I want to start up a listing of new pet ideas that people would like to see implemented. I figured I’d start a catch all with this post. So if you want to see a new pet added to the system for either an update, expansion, or even a black lion buy, list it here.

My suggestion is to add more of the monsterous pets like the drakes. For example, I’d like to have a Ridgeback Scale as an amphibian pet. I’d even pay RL money at the Black Lion for it, even if it had the same abilities as other pets (ie just a skin-over like the HoM pets).

So for example, my #1 request is a Ridgeback Scale.

Also, one thing that bothers several people is that the pet size does not change at all. A pet should grow in size with level ala GW1.

Why so many pets. its not like you can use all of them. some of the pets that you have name are in certain areas only. for example the Lion is only on elona and tigers are cantha. For me out of all pets that we can charm, which including the once from HoM am only use about three pets. the Snow Leopard, Fern Hound and the Polar Bear. When am in a group i use the Fern hound because of its heal buff, but when am solo its Snow Leopard and Polar Bear.

Please explain how limited. i find them to more flexible the most classes. they have good offensive and defensive and the cooldowns are just find. if you spam you skills without thinking then yes you will have a hard time. the trick is you should now when its the best time to use you defensive skills. this apply too all classes by the way.

Do what i do. I always have a pet that can tank as a second pet option (polar bear or brown bear)to swap. my first pet is always a dps pet like snow leopard or lynx. if my pet health is low, i have two option call my pet back or swap it for the tank. and since my pet get health back from the damage there do i hardly swap my pets.

what are you talking about personal quests in swtor and other MMO’s are far superior and better balanced. Are you real serious about what you are saying, because i remember the number of time i have help people in swtor with their personal story because they couldn’t do it alone that can be said for other MMO’s too. their is nothing wrong with asking for help just doing one quest because of the number of mobs that spawn on you and its making it impossible to complete. not everything need to be simple. some people enjoy such challenger.

That part with the mother was meant to be for the other races from the way i see it but not for we the sylvaris.

The thing about personal quest is that when you fail the first time, than you have to look at what setup you have and how to over come it. i look at the adds the spawn on me and what damage them quickly. secondly i look at the type of boss i got. to me i never use the same trick twice. those that are still have problems to “Dead of Winter” i have explain how to best kill the bosses. kill the minions as fast as possible, then blind and stun and quickly kill him. let Iowerth tank since he is a guardian. It all about finding the weakness.

firstly i chose the Priory because it fit my sylvari ranger for the knowledge and lore at the same time for the adventurer of going to tombs and finding answers and stuff how to best understand the world of tyria at the same time help my wyld hunt.

Secondly i chose the Whispers for my Human Elementalist because she is a pure descendant of my GW1 character that was a sunspear and since they server all of Elona and the Whisper were like the secret agent that work in Elona, i figured why not. Going with the home theme.

Like I said you will need a skill that blind or stun him. Let Lowerth tank it and keep up the stun or blind and you should be fine. But remember if you still have minions running around it going to a hard fight. Since you are a Mesmer use staff and alway pop up your chaos armor to blind it. Use phantasmal warlock to up your dps. Your chaos wind and chaos storm will cause weakness and vulnerability so it can’t hit you that hard.

I believe they should all glow at night. But if you choose darker colours you will not see the glow I think.

I can see why you want more revealing armor but you have to understand that everything in guildwars 2 is tired to the lore. The norn are the once that I know of that have more revealing armor than any race in game.

Why do people always want to bring things from other MMO that they played to the new. Like most people have said its doesn’t fit the lore so why bother yourself with mounts. What you should be asking is reduce the cost of the waypoint in higher level. Take World of Warcraft for example, I remember it’s became a huge problem when the horde first had paladin and the alliance got shamans. Blizzard had to make up some stupid lore to support the paladins for the horde which to this every day it’s still stupid. Don’t try and force the dev to change the way the game lore is please.

What you needed to do was kill minions as fast as possible, then blind and/or stun boss and quickly kill him (he can easily 2-hits-kill you).

Abaddon is dead so we will take him out. Grenth is half human and he is the son of Dwayna and a Human. Kormir is the only Goddess who was full human. the Dragons where on Tyria long before the Travellers arrival on Tyria.

I never actually did that part of GW1. But my point was that Grenth was angry that Zhaitan stole from him. Why would one of the dragons be able to steal from a god if the god was a dragon?

Aside from that, the gods clearly think and reason and plan and all that.

The Dragons don’t. That enough to is discredit the Dragons = gods theory.

5 Dragons. Jormag, Primordius, Zhaitan, Kralkatorrik, unnamed seadragon.

Humans still got responses from the 6 Gods until recently, when they finally went all but silent.

Grenth speaks through an Avatar, talking about how he wants back a follower/Priest/something stolen by Zhaitan.

firstly they are stuck in time.
they see other humans as traitors, and would attack them on sight.
they hate Charr to the death.
they no nothing about the Norn, Asura or the sylvari. they see them all as a threat to the Kingdom.

Most of the lore hounds would like to know that as well. but you have to understand they are alot we still don’t even no about the present land that the races currently occupied. take Eye of the North from GW1 we still don’t know who build them. all i can say is be patient and let the dev create a good and rich lore for all this new place we haven’t seen.

Adaddon use to be the God of secrets and water. after Adaddon fall Lyssa only took one aspect of Adaddon domain which was water but couldn’t take the secrets only Kormir ascension made her trun secrets to truth, order and spirits due to her believe when she was a mortal that made all this possible.

You do realise that precision and condition give you the highest dps dmg.

We have 5 human gods so it doesn’t make any sense. Also, Tequatl is not an Elder dragon, he is simply a general for Zhaitan.

Speculations are that the 6th Elder dragon is the Pale Tree from which the Sylvari are born. This explains why you fight the dragon in your dream.

What do you mean by Five human Gods. The last I checked there are six and I help one Ascend In GW1 which is Kormir the new Goddess of order, spirit and truth.

I don’t know what class you are playing but it works great for my ranger. the Healing, Utility and Elite skills. when am going for a support build. use Grasping Vines plus take root i will be picking of the mob one by one. seed turret works well with healing seed and i can also work well with summon druid or summon fern mastiff. the only thing about the mastiff is they don’t have group heals. if they did that will be a win win.

According to the wiki , the Dragon Champions have all been created by their respective Elder Dragon, thus meaning that there is a dissonance between how Kormir is perceived by both the characters and the players and how Tequatl is perceived.

One thing that you have to remember, Grenth is just a Demi-God, the reason for this is Dhuum is not dead just locked up in the Hall of Judgement. Grenth only did what he did because of his father had fallen and Dhuum was just playing hard with souls.

When its come to Kormir, well after what the Hunger did to her and what the other God said was how she manager to get to where she was.

But you do know that the human Gods where called travellers from the mist right. the first traveller to arrival at tyria is Dwayna then fellow by Balthazar and Melandru. when it come to Grenth well he is half human that i know because his Dawayna son and his father is a mortal. what you say about Grenth removing Dhumm from his power is because he was a half God himself and didn’t like what Dhumm was doing to the poor souls. i still believe that the Gods brought human to tyria and about the magic that was taking away from jotun, you have to remember its was Abbadon who started to give too much magic to humans.
