Want the human female animations back

I dont understand… if it got disabled for inappropriate animations during specific moments… why is it the female human is the only one that had it disabled… or am I not aware of any others that have been? im not implying others should be, but other races and of both female/male genders have some animations where they seem like they can care less of what the npc/story is talking about soooo why have they not been disabled?

So I have made this post in the past and actually got some pretty good feedback, I am seeking some more “personalization” from the home instance I have everything you can get for it (Except the collections chest … working on that) and still feels like its missing that bit of Pizzaz if you will.

My thought is: With the HIGH volume of minis in the game, why not make them do something other than having just 1 active at a time. Say you go to you’re home instance and a small (it would be better if it was the whole home instance) section is dedicated to the minis like gw1 had. However maybe have them just wonder around. For example a set ammount of patrol sections (1 for every mini available, and random mini per patrol) where the minis you have unlocked in you’re wardrobe can wonder around you’re home instance throughout one of the patrols available.

The collector in me says, new mini?! Dangit… gold for gems … broke again, but hey a new mini! I have just about every single one, but they never seem to slow down… this would not only give the home instance some much needed love, but it would be something you can enjoy coming to every now and then, rather than “dumb logs, dumb metals, dumb dumb dumb etc”.

Please feel free to add to this if you would like, but I sincerely hope this continues to get some positive feedback as I would love to see something like this implemented.

we have been barking up this tree for a while bro. They say its coming but don’t know when. Personally i hope its soon!!!!!!!

Haha, well lets keep this post running they have to give us some feedback :< at some point.
Its not something that would hurt the game, rather make it so much better in the sense of really getting the best out of you’re character without the few secs/min delays I run dungeons with some people who know what traits to swap to, but suddenly stop cause they get to lazy and it hinders the run! BAH!!
Also read a post from Gaile Gray earlier and said they get to more [Suggestion] topic’d posts, hopefully they dont miss this 1.

Guildwars 1 had it… why not Guildwars2??
We lack the variety of skills from gw1 (which is completely fine) but swapping traits to better yourself in
ie: Dungeons or World Bosses
this would be an amazing addition, as I am constantly finding myself swapping traits in between dungeons, which I have gotten so use to it might as well be a template, however it is an extreme incovinience everytime I do this.
Feel free to leave me you’re opinion on this, as it’s mine. Simply put I belive this would be an addition that is long overdue to the game. Guildwars1 trumps Guildwars2 in this aspect.

[Suggestion] Commander Tag

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Aeon.4127

The OP has a good idea going and I can really respect where Anet is going with the color commander tags. However, I really wish Arenanet would just replace the commander tags (doritos) with actual symbols that commanders can designate. Rather than colors, why not replace the tags with a Sword (attacking), Shield (defending), Supply Crate (support), Binoculars (recon). With each of these respective symbols one can even rank up the symbol dependent on your WvW rank so that not everyone who has 300g can be a commander. So for example a commander who is taking towers/keeps puts on a Sword tag, visually I can see that he’s a very good commander because he doesn’t just have 1 sword on his tag, but he has two gold colored swords on his tag probably telling me that he’s WvW rank 1500+ I would rather follow a 1500 than a WvW rank 40 and I’m sure some people can agree with me when I say that their are alot of trolly commanders out there who can’t back up their tag when they pop it out. This can even be a way to distinguish true WvW grinders out there with some prestige and would get the community working a little harder to earn those high level tags.

tl;dr Replace color tags with symbols representing roles in WvW. Rank up in WvW, gain prestige to unlock newer and distinguishable tags that back up your experience in WvW. Example WvW Rank 1-250 Sword icon (1 sword) 1500-2000 Sword icon (2 gold swords/axes).

Well put, a Experienced Commander tag (leveling system) would be an amazing system to implement.

I also dont agree with bringing the Christmas 2012 minis back unless its in the same RNG chests I had to go through to complete my mini collection. Had to buy around 7000-8000 gems to finnally get the set. I would be disgusted to see it for 500 gems or so as a fixed set in the shop.
Dont forget you could collect all this stuff before wardrobe. Minis had slots in the bank and costumes had slots, too. If those were full there were banks[/quote]

I would want no less than to keep the same RNG, and same can be said about scavenger hunt and people whom already own Legendaries, its not fair to give something at a much easier to obtain way the second time around compared to the first. But even so, if they brout them back I no for sure me and others included would play the RNG game to obtain those minis now that they are wardrobe worthy.

Aeon.4127

Isn’t this what having multiple colours is for? So far, whenever a map had 2+ commanders, they make sure to adjust their colours so they don’t look the same. Most WvW runs / world boss events etc also don’t really require more than 4 commanders, so the current system works well enough.

If it’s insufficient, I think adding a few more colours of tags would be a better solution. Gogo green and orange!

though you bring up good points, its really not as sufficient as you think, consider this: WvWvW is up, and you want in on some action! you join in only to find 3 diffrent colored tags up if you were to hover over their names and read Commander “Enter Name Here” Pushing for towers, when others are going for camps, or castle then you know who to go to, rather than ask everyone and await a responce, or deter the commander’s attention from the battlefield to reply to all the postings.

In Eotm you have Karma Farmers, or Bag Farmers another easy way to tell is if they had it under their names.

And lastly Evolved Wurms are a MAJOR pain for commanders to set up because people loose themselves in all the cordination.

Im not saying its a MUST, rather a +suggestion.

Having colored commander tag is GREAT! however… If you were able to add a name to the tag it would help Voice Chat ppl cordinate better.

Exmaple: (WvWvW) multiple tags can be an issue especially when some have 1 thing on their mind and another may have a seperate idea (ie: 2 red tags 1 guy may want to go camps while another is going towers)

Example (PvE) As WvWvW multiple tags can be an issue, but when its needed in PvE it is crucial (ie: Evolved Jungle Wurm, getting groups together Such as Amber,Cobalt, and lastly Crimson).

I hope it wont come back. I like exclusivity.

Though I agree with you on this 100% I have to say its nice having exclusivity AFTER the wardrobe update. I fit with everyone else here asking for the hat back and other things such as the minis from the 1st crhistmas event. Its things like this we had NO idea were gonna be worked on let alone so far into the game. once the wardrobe was implented if you are looking for exclusivity from that point on I would have little to nothing to say. Anet please give us players who have been playing since day 1 a chance to obtain the items we deleted before the wardrobe due to storage space!

This year will be Halloween light, no new content and only warmed up stuff again. All their efforts seems to be put into LS Season 2. There is even a chance that we wont have anything special this year and that it only will be a decorated LA and nothing else.

Oh god… this … would be AWFUL! But even still let it ride out for longer than 2 measly weeks ><!

So I sincerely HOPE I heard some false information, but from what I understand Halloween will be up for only 2 weeks this year?! WHY!?
Halloween and Christmas are some of the MAIN reasons this game is so appealing to me! (And Guildwars1) The events though can get stale quick, still are nice to have when there is down time. ESPECIALLY since LA is more or less dead when it comes to what it use to be. This would probably bring back some of LA’s lost social life back (though the load times need some working on). And maybe be a place we all can relax in like the good’ol days.
In short … You wont bring back Super Adventure Box, because you need all hands on deck for LS2 (understandably), but Halloween is coming regardless (so we can hope) if the work is already there let us enjoy it before you take it away SO SOON!

Love the fact that people appreciate this idea, and hopefully does not get left unoticed, as im sure this would be an addition to the game that would be enjoyable by not just a small selected few, but a vast majority of people.

Guildwars 1 dedicated minis were a tad of a problem since you did not have the wardrobe system and had to lug all of them around or destroy them forever, but Guilldwars2 has that issue already taken care of!

So the home instance… home instance seems a bit lacking in my opinion. I love how they are slowly implementing items (mostly nodes) but I would love if Anet Expands on the Home Instance in several different ways. I have a few Mini Pets that I have been collecting over the pass 2 years. That is when I thought, we may not have/get the polymock arenas, but how cool would it be to see the mini pets you have unlocked for you’re wardrobe walking around you’re home instance. Maybe… maybe not im sure some of you may disagree, but I made going to my home instance a daily routine and would love to see things you have worked for being implemented as either Ambience or Node’s (such as candy corn, Sprockets, or even the Quarts crystal thing). Feel free to let me know what you all think about this, or what you would like to see added to the home instance.

Good Luck everyone & most importantly have fun!

Silver Fed-O-Matic

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Aeon.4127

Aeon.4127

Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic =3 copper per salvage
3Copper X 25Uses from a basic salvage kit (sale price 88 Copper)
25×3=75 copper (ultimately saving you some coin with the copper fed)

Silver-Fed Salvage-o-Matic =1 silver per salvage
1Silver x 25Uses from a Master’s Salvage kit (sale price 15 Silver, 36 copper)
1×25=25 silver (Total loss 9 Silver, 64 Copper)

I get the convinience of it is awesome, but it would burn a whole in you’re coin count rather quickly, especially for dungeon/fractel daily farmer’s.

If anyone else agrees please help expand on this, or otherwise feel free to express why im wrong… I dont see a good purchase out of this at all.

Cool, just throwing it out their is all, I dont see any reason why this would be bad, aside from making minis prices sky rocket… but then again, it would be nice seeing something diffrent. Never thought rune of the ranger proc’d it but you’re right it sounds like a could. And as far as the arena goes, yea I to would love it, but for now having them look “cool” is not really doing it for me, and thounsands of others otherwise I would see plenty of people using them I get awe struck when I see more than 10 in one area.

You didn’t want it anymore, you weren’t going to use it, so you deleted it. That’s your loss.

This is almost exactly like the gem store items that they are refunding, I used close to 700 Gold that was part of an achievement added by Anet, and I know for a fact im not the only one who has aimed for getting as many achievements as possible, so how about adding some constructive feedback other than providing a complete shutdown, to something that wasn’t a quick dungeon piece, or a 1-5gold item.

So back some time ago, my main goal was going for “The Emperor” and even had some guildies competing with “who would get it first” we farmed day and night (insert sad sad wooommmp wommmmmppp here" and after getting it we wasted TONS of gold… Eventually looking back at the armor being as “prestigious” as it was never really looked good than most other armors do/did with a mix of random other pieces… Having 5 Races, holding onto 18 pieces of armor fills up your inventory/stash way to quick… Heres where it gets BAD… we TOSSED them no longer needing these pieces, and having them take up so much space, we figured “well theres Never going to be a place to put these… so we have no choice in the matter”.

Heres what im thinking, cant ANET look into who has the these achievements and in a sense just have them get unlocked in the wardrobe? Now im not asking for the armor back, but I am asking for the chance at being able to have the opportunity to use a charge to equip something that was extremely pricey, that gave you only the options to look bad, but “prestigious” or suffer from little to no space in your inventory or stash.

Im sure the question of “well if it looked bad, why the **** do you want it back”?
Simply put mixing is my thing, I didn’t like some of the pieces, but that dosnt mean I didn’t like some others".

Scarlet's Powerful Potion of secrets??...

in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath

Aeon.4127

So these Powerful Potions of Scarlet’s Armies slaying are on my crosshairs… I was doing TA earlier (few mins ago, before the daily) and got the Toxic LS Achievement completed from killing the TA guys. I tried using the potion and noticed a dmg increase and dmg reduction intake… maybe I was seeing what my eyes wanted to see, but if thats the case, these potions are EXTREMELY underated, simply for the fact that not only do they last for an HR, and give the buffs they do +10% / -10% / 15%exp, but if they work with the toxic alliance… then the should in theory work for Cof (molten alliance) CoE (atherblade alliance) SE (Molten Alliance) & CM (aetherblade alliance).

I have yet to fully test this, but seems to take in effect in TA, if anyone can confirm this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all.

Yep, I hate A-Net decision to dump TIME LIMITED achievements that requires the rest of the players around you to be competant when 9/10 joe do w/e they want and couldn’t careless, die and stay dead. You have zero control on what they do and they bring you down.

But srsly, A-net stop tying in “TIME LIMITED” achievements into groups zerg cooperation. No one has the time to sit around hours and hours a day until you filter out all the bottom of the barrel players out of the map and get some players who give a kitten .

Agreed… cant tell you how man y times I have spammed The Vigil Buff for people to come get, just so I can litteraly get answers like “I’m to lazy to go get the buff can’t you just bring them to us”? <—- no joke I got that answer and almost blew a blood vessel… If people got that + the Scarlet Potion + A good to descent consumable (which Ive spent close to 7g on Feast of Orrian Steak Dinner’s) we would stand a chance…

I like the spirit of the idea, but that implementation turns me off. Maybe, instead of an obnoxious pop-up as soon as you log in, there can be a little alert button on the guild’s icon like there is for the BLTP and Mail? To remove it, just click on the guild icon and click on whatever guild changed the MotD. Less intrusive, but still gets the job done!

Thats a great idea, honestly. However I still think it would be a great addon to the game to have a pop-up in the chat box, but please note, that I would ONLY like to see it pop-up in gold text (Guild chat). Which can easily be disabled by going to the chat panel and unchecking the guild box. If both you’re idea (honestly never thought about that, but would be amazing) and the chat box pop-up through guild chat were added I gaurantee seeing Guilds running more proficiently, active, and more cordinated. That of course not including the self-sustaining guild community you would build simply because more people logged in and joined in on Guild missions/events/pvp/wvw you name it. Lastly guildies who would otherwise never talk to eachother due to lack of group play, would have a great oppertunity of getting to know one another, thus increasing guild rep, and influence gain, ultimately providing the funds to dish out guild buffs/bonuses on a regular basis.

Im currently playing the game, and recently had some trouble setting up my small guild to do Guild Events… Being able to post a large “Message of the Day” is GREAT! Dont get me wrong, however some, if not most guildies I know of never pay attention to it. I believe by adding a pop up at the start of you’re gaming showing the “Message of the Day” would not only be beneficial for any size guild, but would add orginization to them as well. As I stated at the start, im currently playing, but nothing to fun sending mail to two people at a time every so often to give them a heads up on making sure to read the text, is not the most efficient way. However it is the best way of making sure guildies dont miss out on something they die to do every weekend. Unfortunately having odd timezones or bad cordination seem to ruin what could be a great oppertunity at becoming a tighter, more social, and overall funner community of people. This way we can all participate in what we would all truly desire, A large guild event, rather than the few you managed to call upon, and those who decided to read the “Message of the Day”. Guild Wars 1 had this feature… I would LOVE for it to come back.
