the red circles are the spots where the aoe projectiles will bounce off not where they will land & disapear. They also hit whatever is in their path. If you want arah gear, work for it but the first thing is to learn boss mechanics.

Take your time. i have my human necro with a T3 & starting now to collect T3 for my norn warr. All in all i dont have any problems with the price , just manage your gold. Every time you finish playing split your gold in half – put hals in your bank, wich will be like a fund for your T3, the other half use it for your daily needs.
If you could get everything without any effort whatsoever the game will become stale & boring.
Hi GW2 community & sry for opening this thread again but i would love to collect as much data as possible about housing (mechanic, building features, basically whatever you desire, … ) & how would diferent features be implemented ( let your imagination free althow in the limit of the game engine :P).

Upon completing the DM tittle have to say that the hardest boss encounter is geting a group for COF P3

Nope. I’ve been playing warrior since BWE3. I know it inside and out. The class simply lags behind other classes in every role.
The warrior was designed as a sort of jack of all trades but master of none.
Here are some changes I’d like to see to my favourite weapon, the rifle (some of these ideas were taken from other posters):
- Make the 4-skill daze instead of applying vulnerability (which is useless in PvP)
- Increase the damage of the auto-attack (155 damage is beyond pathetic). Make the damage equal to the ranger’s longbow except replace distance from target with endurance level
- Increase the damage on volley slightly
- Decrease the damage on killshot, but make it knock down the target
Plz dont get offended by what im about to write but: time spent =/= player skill. And the game is designed in a way that every class has its vulnerability. On a side note due to the warr mechanic a daze or another knock down on a warr its incredibly powerful combined with the cc he alrdy has. Ranger bog = god mele not so , warr it is contrary. All in all i get you & i think a net will think about your sugestion, but keep in mind a net goal is e-sport & high pvp is a completlly different beast.
It might seems as a small change , but it will have huge impact on high end pvp balance.

Rather not. If the switch would be implemented, even if it seems to be so innocent i can guarantee you that at that moment you can predict what will happen on the LFG site LFM xyz MUST have inspect enabled. In the end will result in cookie cutter builds (gear & skill wise).
If you were with them from the start then this is extorsion , screenie + report , if they inv you at last boss & this come up , just leave; it is sickening but ppl like this are in the game. With time they will stop if the demand for this kind of service will drop.

You are the reason why there should be no DM meters in the game , lol you re a living proof why not. And on top of all you dont understand the game yet. Slow snail dps that is what you see if the fight goes slow , wow, never consider of what the game mechanic was , maybe the player isnt so skilled & need more praktice, maybe althow he is build for max dps this spec aint so effective on that boss & tons of different reasons. Class has nothing to do with dmg meters – you poor kitten class has all to do with dps as everyone knows that necros (example) are at the bottom of burst & dmg done due to how the class is designed , so what you want them out of the game ? You a number cruncher , oh for the love of… dont lie only becouse of the internet anonimity , you want a dps meter you have one , go with your guild to a random chanpion mob (with your spec) fight the mob sum all the dmg in your log & divide my the time spent fighting in seconds = dps. (if you cant do that you re just lazzy & dont care about our so caled fine tuning but only want to brag about numbers or if you find this to hard to do stop playing games & go in your room to study basic math.
Dm didnt ruin wow gs did , gs & linking achivements were the chery on top , but dm had a had efect , example: archimonde eazy fight as hell, but what was the major problem ppl fight over the position on dm rather than avoiding the rng fire. Toc first part of beast , fire patches or targeting the jumping mob thingy , it was laughable as on such a basic fight even after expansions ( high lvl + high gear) whipe because they didnt do what was for them to do & rather compete on the dps scale, i bet you couldnt even solo baron gideon with a random mana using class.
… or lfm need dps 6k dps for x dungeon ( wich is insane as the dungeon would need a reqirement of 1k ).
How will effect the meta in gw , ppl will start to do cookie cutter builds & with that pushing the game into the trinity & limiting player base choices on how to play the game.

just pug it , noone knew the dungeon (as for me only tried once at torches & group disband) & tbh the comunity have given a bad rep to a realy nice dungeon , not long at all , not dificult at all . All in all it made me question the quality of todays mmo games.

Player housing would be fantastic. I’ve yet to see a situation where it would be a bad idea, and some level of customization would be great. Now, as much as I LOVED playing Skyrim: Hearthfire where I had to craft everything in my home…I’d rather not do this here on top of trying to craft a legendary. It is a nifty idea but I am not sure how popular it would be. Instead, ANET could make certain features unlockable or buyable in the GEM store. In the holiday events we can have fun craftable decorations available (like the toy pets). It would also be neat to have a private place to hang out with other players, just for fun, and even show off trophies or armor/weapons you happen to like the design of.

i have spent countless HOURS in sims, designing homes, parks, etc and so on. i’d LOVE an option to find a tract of land somewhere, make it mine, and build a home on it. further, i’d love an option to upgrade it, to add to it, to put stuff in it … but i wouldn’t want it done on achievement points. now, i’m at 3k+, which ain’t TERRIBLY shabby, but how would this work as currency? would i lose some, and have to regain them, to purchase items for my home? no, i think having a town-related, or home-related “crafting profession” to utilize materials gathered from the world would be great.

Yey those achievement points , what i meant was something in the line as : example a table, you have x series of tables made by A net ; all beautiful in design but lets say if you have an x amount of a points you can use 3 dyes on it instead of 2 or gravings … things like that , just basically small details which wouldnt efect the playerbase too much. No achievement points wouldnt efect if you in a shack or a mansion , but if you have more a points you ll have a higher selection of estetics & what if mats would skyrocket , you can gather them cant you. So i dont honk they will go up that much.
As this is a sugestion thread why cant you sugest something or even take a spin of my idea , instead of plain qq without any constructivity ?
CM is an example , big & vast dungeon which can be a somewhat reminiscent of a player housing ( if human). Why not allow players to build their own house ?
The implementation shouldnt be that difficult as the GW2 engine is instance based & we (players) have already a home zone
main mechanic : – achievement points
– raw materials (ore, wood… + MForge)
– building plan
– Trading post /TP
There are some beautiful structures in-game already why not use those as base building blocks to create a house with a Lego like mechanic. Basically using the pieces in-game to create a blueprint of the structure (building) we would like to call our home. The quality of materials, structures used will be determinated my how many achievements points one has (not as a currency but more like : the higher the A points the more fancy structures one can use). once the blueprint is complete one can start building its home ( gathering materials in the world , TP ; using the mystic forge to combine materials in new kind of materials needed for building ). “just an estimation – 200 rocks , 60straw, 40 manuer, 100 iron will be needed to build a wall of x,y,z dimension”
Anet can also use the gem shop to sell premade blueprints or structures.
What for ?
To some people this is fun, also there are insanely gorgeous armors & weapons in the game. I bet some artists at A net are quite proud of it & we the community cant see them all /sad face. Why not have a armor dedicated room , like a museum , where we can put armors on display ( a big place as there are alot of armors :P) Selling armor-stands in the g shop which we can then use to place & see the armors the same way they would look on a player. (in the housing there would be no class restriction on which armor we can wear, pure esthetic reason).
The Weapon room , same reason as the armors , beautiful weapons which some canot use , but would love to have some sort of collection + i would love to have different legendaries in my collection as center pieces, as im a necro , no offence , but there isnt a item of legendary callas in-game as for right now that i would wear (those for my class that is) althow having bifrost as a colectable , dont mind that :P . Again in the housing there are no weapon restriction – estetic reasons.
note: no restrictions as using the weapon/armor to showcase it , cant fight with it or do any sort of dmg.
Crafting:
for those who have build all the posible craftable stations in the house/housing & have a character with all profesions maxed , swiching betwen them would cost no fee + some sort of daily quest can be recived from to npc "craft this or gather that " but dont get crazy with dailies :P

1. Arena of Krxy Basicaly an area for pve, where players can create their own boss mechanics fights. Not for rewards or anithing , but for the sole purpose to create beter boss fights. There are some nice boss fights in-game, but i think some can create something which cant be done by A net. Why ? Dont misunderstand i dont think you at A net arent up to the task , its just that some ppl might see things from a different prospective & thus create something fantastic. (A net can use this as a inspiration pool which will never end + ppl who create something worthy can be implemented in the game & the player rewarded with an x amount of gems. Never forget Counter Strike , DOTA …)
2. Forgotten Mist
Basicaly same as Arena of Krxy but here players would create their own custom pvp maps , mechanics ….
Attachments , mannequin poses & nice weapon layout for a wall
Also a library , can we have a library in our housing which we can fill with books obtained in-game true exploring , killing bosses , mistic forge permutations or whatever which will explain the lore from GW1 , GW2, exp

@LanceKing dont get eagle , you get enough crit chance from gear ; instead raw power its beter ,25 stack vul + 25 stack might hurt , hurt alot
I tried my glass cannon build for necromancer yesterday and it doesn’t make sense to me. I use combo of axe and warhorn, hopefully to get more dmg from vulnerability and yet my attack is not even equal to a guardian who has 500 attack and 50% crit dmg lower than me. Can some one explain this ?

basically full zerker with might stacking & the numbers are making me very happy , you might want to swich well of darknes for blood is power (10 stacks of might) althow i find blindnes more effective.

OP , i wouldnt rly brag wich classes you player , first of all the one you played were the op class in each game you chose so …..yea. GW2 thow you only have a small amount of abilities & the game has a huge depth , instead of qq get a team, get vent/skyp & start doing paids, if you re that good as you seems to imply, you ll soon face good teams & then you ll see how deep the rabit hole is. Play whatever class you enjoy the most , all are fine & all have something to offer to the group. CBA to say what or why , as you might find a way to use an ability in a totally different way than me or any other player , tbh the game alows you to do some incredible things, but sadly most ppl are still in the mentality of the trinity. If you like & you are having fun with, play it. This is a game its meant to be fun not a chore & whatever class you play you re bound to find someone with the attitude "oh not a …. (random class name) ". Just have fun , its that simple.
regarding synergy is scepter / dagger for obvious reasons , bleeds ; axe / focus huge amount of vuln stacking ; dagger / warhorn its an interupt & cripple/speed.
Now it all depends on your play-style. With dagger i normally go wells or spectral, which both have an ability to stack vuln (althow one does also dmg , the other gives me protection) that is why i scraped focus. Dagger blind is nice but blood didnt work for me.
With warhorn i feel more at peace , the interupt is great + speed / cripple is awsome as i need to go fast in , fast out when needed. Its not smart to stay shoulder to shoulder with an enemy.
Now plz keep in mind that are mine preferences , you might find something else that fits your playstyle/spec/gear.

Sry NO. it would make necros dull. Self inflicted dots boost healing ( dot consumption) & you can transfer them to a specific target with a staff. Necros are by far the most strategic class in the game + that is also why we have such high health pool & Ds , to mitigate dots/dmg.
@Dee jay Point being, PvE is impossible to balance when you have such huge discrepancies in player HP <— i phrase that wrong, pve its inposible to balance with same HP due to classes being so deferent in skills & mechanic; the way agony works its to punish all classes the same without disparity but other dmg is dealt differently by each class. So you re a glass canon thief, who doesnt understand his class very well. Instead of tunneling in your target learn to manage your initiative , learn the boss/encounter mechanic & save/manage initiative so that you have enough to use whatever skill you have to avoid dmg at a correct time. If you re not doing that you re a bad player who only apan skills without any understanding of the game & classes machanics.
Agony of course is % based so it evades the issue. <—- fixed that 4 you (learn how % work)
You cant compare classes like that, this game has different mehanics than other games.

On a personal note it sems you dont understand your class well (i asume that you re a thief).

" that proves that you dont understand % matematics (its not meant in an insulting way), what this means is that actualy it doesnt mater how much hp you have 10HP or 10kHP, if you have , lets say a dot wich reduce your health my 25 % , both the 10 hp & 10kHP will drop to 1hp in the same amount of time … all in all agony its the most neutral dmg, it is unafected by gear, spec, class. It is only affected by the player skill.

Sometimes my necro gets “stuck” on the axe ‘2’ skill, and walks around twirling her hand in a constipated stance lol. Always makes me laugh.
Never experienced any of the swapping holds though.
ye that hapes to me too or sometimes my toon get stuck in a weird pose , but that is a graphic bug wich doesnt efect gameplay & it makes me giggle inside
How recently did you swap from staff to axe?
I havent " swiched" from staff to axe , i play staff/axe-dager (sry if i wasnt clear , it sux to type with a pinky due to a cast :P) I played this combo since the relese of the game.
If you meant in combat , in combat its fine , but when i exit combat it sometimes get stuck (it always get stuck on axe as my active set) If a start a fight with a stuck axe im in the mercy of “unstuk RNG” before i can swich to staff again.
Never happened to me? Weird.
It started hapening to me about a month or so, was scouting the forums but there ware no posts of this kind, thats why i create 1 , its a “bug” to a weapon, class, or it is conected to my spec.
Due to injury im a nolifer in love with GW 2 till i get beter , some broken bones no bigie :P I play alot (99 % necromancer) & the frequency of this hapening is very low , but if it hapens in pvp where fast response in a must it could be hell. Tring to colect as much info as i can.
