So this bug has shown up on many other peoples games but the bug is actually amazing and i think it should be implemented into the game. What do you guys think?

I get Jumped on a lot, but I love to trash on the people after they do it to me. My difficulties that I run into are people who set themselves as offline instead of just accepting the msg back. I then type their username into the send mail and send them some salt along with a kindly worded msg. Anet should just bring back the ability to whisper people in wvw.
I really just want balance, like every other player in the game. Get rid of power creep too. skills do not need to hit that hard. Above all just give us more GOSH DARN balnce patches…please.
They should not have buffed condi reaper, what they needed to do was give you guys a better power build to play with instead. Having 25 stacks of bleed come out of nowhere added to about 5 other instant applying condis have made reaper very spooky and kinda sitting in the “broken” section of the game.

Yes I understand this, but with this new change it makes you no better than being any other broken class in the game.
The idea of adding elona/cantha back into the game has always been in Anets mined, but they cannot commit to it yet or maybe they have(next expansion). We will never know if they will bring it back or not.
Almost the entire player base is begging Anet to add cantha or elona into the game, it is something that could be an amazing way for gw2 to make a SHART ton of money to fund even more things into the game. Imagine how many people would rejoin the game and play just to check out this amazing new continent.
I agree with this post a lot. Engi has been the beaten step child of anet since it was made. Why would anet make a completely unique to gw2 class and completely neglect it? it boggles my mind that they cannot see that engi needs a lot of big changes.
They claim that they are fair in pve, but why do we have to spam a 27 skill rotation to get the same dps as an 8 skill rotation?
Same goes for hammer, why are we being forced into the meta just so we can survive in this power creep world.
Lastly, why is half of the engineers traits completely useless along with half of the engis utilities, heals, and elites?
Anet plz give your step child engi some love!
let’s hope that we can see the under used get changed to used again, the "overpowered"get SLIGHTLY NERFED plz do not stomp the certain skills into the ground which will cause the community to get mad, and lastly let’s hope anet goes in depth when looking at things to change in the class.
Hopefully we can see a change in the meta and have some new classes take the old ones places. maybe we will also see a change in raiding which will allow other classes the ability to join in and have it just as easily as others.
We will just have to wait and see.

Very diverse and fun to play overall and love the mechanic it has compared to all the other classes.

so many kits to choose from.
can be almost anything.
but sadly it has no place in guildwars anywhere except point holder in pvp.
hopefully this patch will give us the buffs we need.
I hope anet won kitty(wrote that cause filter, but you know what it means) this up again like the last balance patch :I because i really want a change for engi instead of 5 changes that do nothing.
full marauders scrapper, or you can do a mixture of berserk, soldier. With strength runes, brawler runes, or hoelbrak.
inventions: middle bottom middle
alchemy: middle top top
scrapper: middle top top
hammer: bloodlust, leeching sigils stats: marauders or zerk (whatever you feel like)
heal: healing turret
utilities: elixir-gun, bulwark, elixir b
elite: mortar kit is my preferred, but sneak gyro is best for beginners
To look at future engi weapons (not utilities) we must break down what we already have.
4 total weapons:
-hammer
-rifle
-pistol
-shield
Each of these weapons fall into a combat range zone:
Hammer is mele
rifle is mid range to mele
pistol is midrange
shield is mele
What engi is currently missing is two things, a long ranged weapon or another mele off hand. The reason for a mele offhand is because engi already has a mid-ranged offhand and there are no other offhands that could act as a long range weapon. The reason for a long-ranged weapon is due to the fact that engi has no long ranged viability.
Possible weapons:
-longbow
-shortbow
-staff/scepter(dealing with energized lighting thing????)
-mace
-dagger/axe(doesn really fit the engi “style”)
What we now have are weapons that fit the play style that engi does not yet have and that is, an offhand for shield/pistol offhand and an actual long ranged weapon.
People who say that rifle is long-range just no…plz no. rifle 2, 3, 5, and even 4 are skills that must be used near the player to gain full effectiveness of the skill ONLY the auto attack is long-ranged.

this just has to prove the theory that a serious weapon will have a silly counter part and a silly weapon will have a serious weapon.
I like the gun, but it can never trump predator in its life and is harder to make than predator.
I was kind of expecting a really serious and cool plasma blaster that could maybe beat predator, but instead we get a ship in a bottle without the bottle, add the bottle plz.
we can only hope that the next legendaries will at least be better than this. shooshadoo looks like the 6 gods gift to tyria compared to this rifle.
every warrior uses shield…is this post a joke post? for real. warrior shield is needed for every build pretty much. it has not Not been viable.
I think loyal and combat medic were the first, loyal was first birthday and combat medic was revives in wvw/pvp/maybe pve.
eles have maybe 3 viable builds: tank, glass staff, maybe fresh air
engi is close to the same: p/p condi, power hammer, tank hammer, Horrid power rifle (needs some love). that is it.
I think ele and engi needs some love for viability and diversity ;.;

engi has been neglected and not cared for by anet for the longest time and it it needs to stop. I don’t even care if they somehow do a giant nerf to all engi skills, but to me it shows that anet is actually looking at engi.
The class has by far the largest build diversity of any class:
turret engi
power rifle
gadget engi
scrapper hammer
condi p/p
condi p/s
hgh engi
and many hybrids that combine other builds
The only reason why we cannot commit to these builds is because Anet has either destroyed the skills, made the skills not viable in the meta, or just lack of damage. If only one Anet dev will take command and bring engi up on the list of fun and viable.
It also does not help that anet never looks at the class forums on their own forum pages :I if they just took a look at the many ideas that players come up with anet wouldn’t even have to think about what to do. They can just copy what the player base has made.
people pin snipe because it destroys zergs, then they can clean up the scraps for bags. that is the easiest way to zerg v zerg.
the classes themselves are balanced skill wise, but the damage output both condition related and physical are off the charts due to HoT e-specs.
The other issue with the game is how people are able to build to be absolute tanks and still put out damage even though they are built to tank. same thing with heal specs. then the actual power spec just gets over powered by the skills.
Anet has made it to where people can just spam skills and get easy damage instead of having to set up combos.

here in anvil rock we have to face up against servers with 16x our population, currently our server has one main wvw guild that has 65 people in it [AR] and a pve guild that has 203 people in it[ALS]. Not to mention one other guild [METL], yea we just chillin.
All we desire is for that glorious Anvil Rock tag to shine above our heads so our enimies will know who we are.
unless that guy is in a high rank, it is not a big deal for reporting. idle players are part of the game, since when has anet banned people for getting rewarded for doing nothing. that is basically the whole gw2 in a nutshell, get rewarded for doing nothing. I can understand reporting him if you are in platinum or above, but reporting him in the lower ranks when your mmr doesn’t even matter :I ….
They are just pve people getting that free ascended only going at it in a different more time consuming way. they are doing nothing and getting rewarded for it. if they were to lock the free ascended behind winning matches then people would try, but like idiots anet had to make it easy to obtain. they were asking for this type of player to be made in the pvp season.
it is not manipulating. they are just pve people who want those free ascended so all they do is afk in the matches and do no work (just like pve) and get rewarded. this is how anet works, do nothing and get rewarded for it.
also, many things can go wrong for players and reporting them for being “AFK” may not be the situation. I personaly have crappy internet and it scares me that if I dc or freeze someone may Report me for manipulating :I
so even though you want to get rid of these players there is no real purpose behind your plea. there are just many variables that you have to look at to suspect that people are actually match manipulating.
p.s. if you are getting mad at people for giving up half way in because maybe the team/scores are ridiculous it does not mean that they are match manipulating because at least they tried.
just make rifle engi super op and then engi will be fine for me

the engi gyro can easily be cleaved down, and a lot of times the engi is helping to revive too so the buffs are spread to the gyro.
LOL revs complaining about nerfs… go main engi for 4 years and see how nerfs feel after that.
This is my personal view on how condi should be changed in guild wars 2
to make a great power build you have to armor stat into 3 different stats:
-power
-precision
-ferocity
This leaves with little options to gain those extra stats like toughness and vitality. That is 5 different stats to setup for to get the same out put as a condi player.
To make a great condi build you must setup into at most 2 stats:
-condition damage
-expertise(if you want)
This allows the player to build into toughness and vitality without having to worry about the 2 other stats.
I think that to even out the two play styles the best option would be to make expertise more important than it is now. Increase the expertise effectiveness, but greatly reduce all condition duration to the point where the players have to take some form of condition duration to make the build effective.
I can already see one problem with this, the only way to get condi duration is through the HoT armor sets, this is why anet needs to redo the stats on condi armor.
This is my personal view on how condi should be treated in GW2. This does not mean that gw2 will do this, so don’t get too triggered.

WTB more base engi buffs and scrapper nerfs because scrapper screwed base engi.
MORE RIFLE BUFFS PLZ and quit nerfing things out of nowhere without any reason to.
the rifle change was not a buff, it was more loss of dmg. which was the exact opposite if what they were trying to do (bring it up to par with hammer).
we shouldn’t have to wait till next patch to get needed changes, engi got such less care from the devs this patch compared to the others.

Only 2 out of the countless things engi needed changes on were changed, does not seem evenly distributed/looked at by the Devs.

ANET PLZ! out of the countless necessary changes engi needed you only did 2 things PATHETIC. As an engi main this infuriates me how little they looked at engi.
My view point is that Anet S C R E W E D engi as a class when they put in scrapper because they obviously can’t make any changes to core engi without making scrapper OP! Honestly though…this is all you give us…
I’d say switch skill slots for Blunderbuss and Net Shot and lower Blunderbuss’ recharge to 8 seconds. Also make Overcharge shot unblockable or ignore reflect with a backward roll/jump instead of knocking yourself back. A hero of Tyria and still being knocked down by your own skill. The little evade could be extra.
Net shot imob needs to last a little longer and overcharge shot def needs an evade/unblockable. AA needs to be a little faster because the cast time has the bullet come out at the very end instead of beginning like the warrior or ranger arrows, or thief pistols.
Engineer
We’ve been making some gradual changes to pistol and rifle, hoping to bring them a bit more in line with hammer. As for Jump Shot, it’s difficult to land both the first and second attacks consistently unless you’re cleaving a downed player. To address this, we’ve moved some of the initial damage to the end of the attack, making it easier to spike. The total damage done by the skill will be the same.

YEY SOME CARE FOR RIFLE ENGI! but still not enough, i hope that they will put more changes in when they finally release the full information on the balance. The hope is rifle engi will get even more buffs!
so sad to not see a balance patch. guess we will have to wait even longer to see any decent changes to engi. ;.;
that sword is actually really cool i would hope that in the future they add this sword into the game, but Anet never gives people anything good without shafting them.
As seen in the trailer there are a few shots of an amazing looking forest that just makes me proud to see that we’ve come so far.

225 gold for a stack and you can only get 20 a month talk about a gold sink. These should be more available and not that expensive.

Anets intention with engi rifle is to use it like a kit, not completely relying on it for dmg only for utility which is just like kits. That is the sad part. What Anet is doing with engi rifle is trying to push them towards using other kits as a source of dmg instead of taking other options inside the engi’s kitten nal of skilld.
I think that what most engis want is to be able to rely on a weapon and keep utilities for sustain. kind of like warrior. warriors get so much dmg out of clicking a few buttons on their main weapon and then sit back on their passives and utilities that sustain them far longer than most other classes while not even gearing for sustain builds.
I understand the trade off with ranged v mele, but engi just needs better dmg so they can stop relying on massive combinations of skills to get the same dmg output as a warrior clicks 2 buttons. This way engis could trade off and use skills like elixir s(invuln), rocket boots, and various other elixrs and gadgets that were all unused because of having to take other skills to get more dmg.
I think this is some quality thought process, but it would get shut down because everyone hate the idea of engineer having anything mildly good.
I think that the idea behind the tank is cool, the skills seem to fit in just fine.
I think engi just needs some sort of ride-able mount, tank/mecha/D.VA suit, to further progress the class and give it a unique elite spec that stands out. I just fear that Anet will make the ride-able not worth and butcher it like they always do to most engi things.
just checked today and they are all gone from the tp. spooky to think that someone bought the last one for 4,645 gold. Anet don’t let this great backpack die. make a collection like the destroyer scythe to challenge people to get the jetpack back into the game.
