As a commander in eotm, it’s very difficult to give commands via /say chat without being suppressed. I’d use /team chat, but more often than not people either do not have it on or do not read it when you actually need them to. People respond much better in Edge of the Mists when you command using /say chat, because they can see the bubble above your head instead of looking down in the corner (or up in the corner) of their screen.

I’m suggesting that /Team chat gets speech bubbles like say chat. Perhaps, have it tinted red like /team chat so it’s distinguished from /say chat bubbles.

Was doing guild bounty training for influence for an alt guild when all this started happening. GG bounty training wasted :s

When you put an AR requirement in your LFG for a high lvl fractal and someone ignores it. Then, when you ask them about how much AR they have after you just watched them get hit with agony they still insist that they have enough AR.

A friend and I decided to try something to make things a bit more challenging. Little did we know that by duo-ing, it actually made it easier….

My WTF moment was when I was duo-ing lupi with a friend. We pushed him into the back wall, and at about the last 15% he apparently went further into the wall and then reset to full HP and immediately started spawning grubs and locust. Was not a very fun lupi kill to say the least.

I like how fixing a dolyaks path to hills from the SE camp took priority…

Something needs to be done about peoples ability to use the LFG tool to grief/troll groups that are trying to find party members for dungeons. I’ve lost track of how many times myself and my guildie have gotten kicked out of a halfway completed arah run because some people did the merge party bug.

Something that comes up every time I get the ascalon fractal is the issue of the veteran agro. Please for the love of god change it back to what it used to be. No one minded needing to stack on the end boss until one of the vets was hit to get them to attack him. Right now, clearing out the area where the ritual needs to take place is a pain because when you pull one group all of a sudden your allied vets go Leeroy Jenkins – aka YOLO – mode and agro the rest of the area. This often wipes the party at least once or twice depending on what builds they are running.

Just a thought I had, but what if Fractal of the Mist portal entrances were in each racial city? It might encourage players to spread out some more so we don’t get the “LA loading screen” effect happening in Gendarran.

Did not work. I even applied a second aegis via the third virtue after getting knocked and interventioning back but it makes no difference. What a disappointment. Not to mention that the next two achievements are locked behind this one.

Greatsword 3 to her right from the start, if you get pushed back during the stomp then use JI and pop f3. I’ve done that 3 times now and it works each time

Tbh when I see lfgs that require AP I post one for the same path that says something along the lines of “Who cares about AP!” even if I’ve already run whatever path it is that the AP elitists are doing.

Overview:
Rework the reward tiers to correspond with agony levels and label them in the in game LFG tool.

Goal:
Clarify the reward tiers for new and returning fractal runners

Proposal:
Have the reward tiers based on the agony levels and relabel them in the in game LFG.
For example, 1-9 would be T1 reward because there is no agony at those levels.
Then, 10-19 for T2 because you need 10 agony resistance to take 1% hp per agony tick.
20-29 for T3 (25 AR for 1% per tick)
30-39 for T4 (40 AR for 1% per tick)
40-49 for T5 (55 AR for 1% per tick)
50 for T6 (70 AR for 1% per tick)

As it stands, the reward tiers confuse new players wishing to start fractals because the LFG isn’t organized to portray the reward tiers, and the tiers themselves have flawed logic behind them — Why does a level 50 that requires 70 AR and has higher scaling on mob damage/HP give the same daily reward as the 41-49 that requires only 55 AR?

My question is; Why do we have to have a kitten y AI blow up things for us? Why can’t the players blow up the golem parts themselves rather than waiting around for this little NPC to finally decide “Hey, I should throw a bomb at this thing the player is spamming interact at cause I didn’t give them bombs to do it themselves.”

New content doesn’t get discarded by the player base within the first hour it’s released. There’s always people doing the content for AT LEAST a couple days after it’s released.

Lighten up, play with your pet, go on a walk, get come coffee, say hi to your kids/parents/friends irl, watch a movie, listen to music, play an instrument. There’s always other things to occupy your time..

Dredge fractal is the sole reason I make and carry watchwork portal devices on my ele now .-.

Currently sitting in a fractal with my guildie alone… The rest of our group lagged out, dced, and ended up leaving the group while they were all offline. GG…

He’s right. It’s far too long and completely unrewarding. I can’t think of someone who’d willingly go back in there once their personal story is done.

I’ve done it 7 times so far for alts and friends. And I’m going to be doing it again on my ele when I don’t have irl things to attend to (ripping up carpet suuuuuucks)

Things seemed to be back to normal so some friends and I went into a fractal. As soon as we started mossman we got booted again… Sad day :c

So I’ve noticed that massive lag for everyone and mass dc’ing has been happening a lot more recently. It may not be a “press this button and plug this back in” to fix it, but please for the love of gaming do something about it. The performance of the game should go above any other aspect of the game.

I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say it’s not very fun to be in the middle of a dungeon or WvW or spvp when suddenly everyone starts to lag and then everyone dc’s. It’s especially not fun when you lose progress in a dungeon/fractal, or you lose golems or siege in WvW, or get booted from an spvp tourney.

So I timed the lvl 50 dredge my group just got and completed. We did the panel thing very smoothly the first go around – thanks to our mesmer placing a portal for the person that stood on the 2nd button that opens the gate to the main area. Even with it going as smoothly as it did and no party wipes it took us a total of 36 minutes. Seems a bit long for something that’s supposed to be a mini dungeon type thing in my opinion. Especially considering that the other fractals usually take around 15-20 minutes max.

p.s. It was a pug group

Since no one ever goes 30 points into arms, to balance out the traits this should be implemented.

“Kiss The Rings!” – Heal, Utility, and Elite skills can now use any signets; any amount of times. Since you have two hands you get double the effectiveness as well. This would be in line with Burst Mastery since it also has two mechanics to it.

Wondering if any servers have actually managed to kick the events into gear. Nothing’s happening on ebay. We’re pretty much just running around aimlessly trying to get something to happen

Honestly, the 30 minutes is excessive. I think 5 minutes would have been alot more reasonable. The things we use the pets on are bosses that end up killing the pet in one or two hits anyway.

D/P Basilisk/Backstab/22222 is the most popular. Seen them in pretty much every server. It works so I don’t see what the problem is. And of course -thieves- will bail if it doesn’t work. Dying and losing stacks is just dumb, lol.

Using Haste is questionable though…

Except who runs haste and 2-spams after a single backstab. Also inc D/P nerf cannot wait to see the garbage thieves all disappear. Maybe seeing a thief might finally mean you’re about to fight someone decent?

It’s not that much of a nerf tbh. But I dunno why Anet want to nerf D/P when P/D is still trolly as before. I don’t think people want to see more P/D trolls.

So… basically I’m noticing the casual WvWers and the PvE achieve grinders are the ones complaining about the lackluster rewards. While the hard core WvWers are sitting there saying “Eh, we knew it was gonna be s**ty rewards. WvWers never get anything worthwhile.”

Looking to start up fight club in Obs sanctum new arena. Just zone into the JP and through the tunnel leading north

Kind of hard to set up when Yak’s Bend are camping the arena 24/7 and trolling every enemy that comes in because the game is to easy for them and they have to feast on enemy’s tears because they have nothing else to do when they are steamrolling other servers.

I don’t see any other YB in this JP besides my guildies who are in the arena waiting for duels

The sabotage was going on from SBI also. Guild ODG was in yaks bend building dozens of balistas in camp to deny supplies. The stupidity is Anet not having any in game GM’s or any reporting tool in WvW for actual cheating

Not allowed to post names on forums. The guild ODG is “Old Dirty Gamers”. You can guess from the name why they are doing things like sabotage. I did report them but that is pretty much a useless exercise with no in game GMs.

Just pointing this out because it’s not wise to accuse everyone of being spies just because they’re doing some stupid kitten in a CAMP. We were in a CAMP. Not a tower or a keep. It was the end of the week. We were already ahead by a huge margin so losing that camp supply to a few people just trying to have a little fun isn’t the end of the world.

Besides, the camp was empty when the SBI blob rolled through. We helped :P

PS there may or may not have been alcohol involved in the Great Wall of Rams/Ballistas incident.. Be happy it wasn’t a time I decided to make “Fort Pangloss” and siegelock the map >__>

Well fight club in Obs sanctum was fun while it lasted. Sadly trolls had to ruin it.
