What it comes down to, is how much of your “blobs” are organized guilds and are people correctly spec’d for WvW.

Half the problems we have on SoS is we have a good fight going and Zachary “Zerkergear” runs into the fight and insta-dies to give a free rally.

I’m sure it happens on TC and even on SoR once in a while but the percentages of it happening are what really makes the difference in tiers.

This along with a few other issues are what troubles SoS. 1 of the issues, you need to unite all these solo guild tags into 5-6ish main guilds and start getting specced/training properly.

The SoS leadership which is really non existent needs to take control of things and have a plan put in motion which doesnt rely on trying to aquire transfers aka SoS 3.0-4.0.5.0 etc. You need to build and work with what you got whether you want to deny it you’re a tier 2-3 server with an oceanic presence that if unified outnumbers any server period yes even the tier 1 servers keypoint is you’re not unified and have alot of pvx give up type of players filling up your player base.

If you whine about opposing numbers being an issue my prime example Seafarer’s Rest a Medium sized server stopping the hordes of vizunah. Point is it can be done and should be done again more often by any server regardless of tier.

I think TC has been spending too much time with Maguma. They are starting to imitate one another.

The problem is, any match-up with SoR brings out the worst on the forums. BG/JQ have learned to tune out the SoR trolls after enduring more than half a year of their noise.

From my experience having faced both SoR/TC, TC are superior WvWers and has superior skill with lower numbers.

SoR (The fathers of the Full Map Zerg meta in the North American bracket) are superior is zerging, causing ability lag/mass disconnects/DDoS TS and other underhanded tactics to win their match-ups.

Do you mean the days of nearly every tier 1 server having a decent win streak at certain periods. BG isnt some mass elite server who is the only one thats done that.

Playing for fights and playing the PPT game is not the same thing.

Also SoR is “hiding its strength” and playing badly on purpose so we can recruit more guilds to compete with BG, as this is recognised as the most effective method for mass recruiting on SoR.

Guilds like TW, TWL Choo, IRON, TYSM have members that transfered parts of their guilds to JQ and been taking up spaces in WvW just to have Guild vs Guild. They are ruining the Que’s for those who actually care to WvW. I doubt anything will be done but I’d like to pass the info out to the rest of SoR and JQ in why you are having longer que times.

You should just move to BG, Im sure theyd love to have you.

BTW this afternoon on TS we were talking about who to be worried about – guild tag wise – and your guild name came up.

It is not about that. SoR have gotten a bunch of guilds into there server, but because we in BG have done the same somehow we are only built on getting more new guilds in every 5 mins. It is more or less TW and a few other forum warriors way of felling special by talking crap. It is why Tier 1 was so toxic. Now that SoR is gone it is kind of nice there.

Yeah im oceanic atm having this issue and seems both our EU and NA players have the same problem.

Fist thing that I thought after reading was a big no. Why, cause we cant trust our community. How, spies would kill friend on opposing team then have a point of where the enemy is moving. Nice idea tho our playerbase has proven not to be trusted so would be bad for the game. This is same as partying eachother just being made even more simple for spies etc

If you build it they will come. Be careful what you wish for. I enjoyed the video but it makes no sense. It seems you enjoy what you have now I envy the matchup you guys have atm how close it looks. Recruitment negates everything, you will become everything your video dislikes and you’ll be polar opposites of yourselves. Ask yourselves are you sure you want it different, have you even thought about everything that changes, the consequences etc. To me I wish you luck but it feels wrong to say that cause I know what would be entailing and wouldnt wish that upon any of you.

I really think it’s time for a few trial weeks of winner up loser down on both EU and NA. Keyword being trial, see how it works and gather the reactions of everyone. Make a decision at the end of the period to what works best. I feel winner up loser down won’t be as unbalanced as people assume and people should have a mentality of wanting to test/train themselves against the new opponents instead of thinking negative and folding before the match even begins

You disagree? Please indicate to me a server with a low, medium or heavy population that has ever beaten 2 “Very Heavy” population servers, and then climb into a higher tier. Regale me with stories of how this plucky server with next to no coverage was able to claw its way to victory through sheer skill and strategy alone.

Haha yeah you’re..Zeon the guild tag is from the anime gundam. My character name is connected to it also wasnt just the lowbie we beat up, the rest waypointed and I noticed the lowbie still around so took the screenshot. I actually didnt want to fight them and was trying to join/invite to party to be friendly but they were full and then jumped me lol so a battle begun. I then joined a party of two lowbie people on bg just casually pve in the area and asked them to tell the zeons to come chill but no one replied to them so I went on my way peacefully also stopping my server mates from killing the people I partied with. Not all thieves are kitten baddies lol

iv seen some EMP tags on seafarers rest the past 2 weeks could be that some wanted to see what its like or maybe they were scouting and now they all moved over not sure havent seen any today

Waiting for rawnoodles to spam the jade quarry recruitment info I was on sea of sorrows from launch currently on seafarers rest. I think sanctum of rall or blackgate should be the only considerations based on jq dont need any people for the time being.

From what i would do id go sor based on my guild is now on it, from a better match environment/competition standpoint seems bg could use some extra manpower atm but is it a safe transfer im not to sure.
Tier 2 was fun my short stay in the tier soo perhaps stick it out longer get a feel for it.

sea of sorrows is the unofficial oceanic server most of the people/oceanics from ioj went to fort aspenwood so that may be a good choice if not bg now has merc a mostly aussie guild and sor now has the guild oceanix same thing basically any of those choices would make sense jq does not need more people so dont go to jq lol

is it still jade quarry or jade isle? to be fair jade quarry didnt need to be stacked this much with the guilds flocking to them left and right. now more gaps in the game have been created by the endless people going to jq. common logic would have been to spread it out. for the sake of balanced competition in the coming weeks most of those guilds should have gone blackgate etc creating a tougher environment and a eternal rotating tier 1 considering how much everyone seems to hate sos be on top and the attitude to sos being top dog for x amount of time and anger created by that why possibly create a cycle where jq is now that server to dislike and could be possibly top dog for x amount of time. Jq seem to be blindsided by the fact numbers were relatively even between jq and sos give or take coverage gaps pre transfer drama now kittens just crazy but still fun just would have liked to see more out of those guild leaders to promote the game further for more balance over a win now attitude at all cost. (in saying this its still early days and sos need to get to work after this holiday weekend i think the real test to get an idea how the future goes tho will be next weeks matchup then boasting from the jade quarry forum warriors can commence all they like)
