I dont think LS is a bad way to introduce new dungeons either. The dungeons DO have story to them. Thats why theres a story version and then explore versions.

I dont understand why A.nets philosophy is “5 person content bad!” or heaven forbid 8-10 person content, but then they add in mega bosses that require special guilds coordinating 40 people and messing around with their glitchy megaserver system. I fear the only major content we’ll get from LS2 will just be another Teq event at the very end.

I dont disagree that there should be an actual group of people designing new dungeons/etc; in a perfect world. However, as-is it seems the only semblance of new dungeons has come from the LS team(s) in the past and those were very temp 1 pth events that were later many many many months later turned into tiny little frac updates. Or removing an easy pth of one dungeon to replace with another riddled with unskipable cutscenes and goofy puzzles.

As much as I liked the temp dungeons (and appreciated when they returned as fracs), its barely anything. If their way of releasing content like a new dungeon is through the LS, they need to do it far more often.

Right now we’re 4 chapters in (half the season) and we’ve had 0 instanced party events to do each day. Theres nothing that will keep DT better than any zone after this LS is over; maybe even less so considering its not used for world complete.

the Good
I like this LS far better than last season. Its much more clear what we’re doing, and the new zone is very well done. All the jumping puzzles, cactus with new recipes, down to the new events that can make the zone feel pretty busy compared to others.

the Bad
However, it dosnt have anything to keep me there. I dont go to Mount Maelstrom to dip around in the mini events and farm herbs. I go there for the MK Golem and COE each day. Zone complete is fun every now and then, but it dosnt keep you. Myself, and many others were hoping this LS would lead to something that keeps us.

I was hoping the LS would be a way to lead up to features like a new dungeon. How hard would it have been to add even a 1 path inquest dungeon in DT? Even a little instance with 1-2 bosses in it that I can add to my daily dungeon train.

I’ve had so many groups of friends quit this game over the past couple years, and this LS stuff isnt bringing them back. Biggest reason I quit MMOs despite any issues I have with them, is its too big a hassle to find new raiding guilds several tiers in. This game dosnt have raiding, so its not quite the same, but its effects are still adding up personally. This game dosnt retain people at all.

the Really Ugly
You spend a couple hours doing this LS once every 2 weeks, then go back to farming the same set of dungeons/fracs/metas/wvw/spvp you’ve been farming for 2 years saving money for new legendaries or something worth saving for, that likely wont come. Im rich but I know my money is nothing compared to what some people have, and none of us have goals for it. Features are nice but they’re mostly balance/QoL stuff.

Wheres the new dungeons with new armor vendors? Wheres the new fracs, with frac lvl increase and maybe new armor there too? WvW is essntially PvE in a PvP setting and most people that are hardcore about it are GvG players without an appropriate venue. Wheres the real GvG? Add a mini dungeon inside forts for controlling players to keep casual PvE players interested in WvW outcomes. Wheres the new sPvP modes? Arathi Basin for 2 years is not an e-sport. Key Farming with moderators would make a more interesting e-sport (not really but.. ya). What happened to adding a new weapon for each profession? You dont have to over-saturate the skills to GW1 lvl but every profession has stuff they need/want and I have a hard time believing theres not some room for a few new weapons or skills. What about races? I would think adding a new race would make perfect sense to get revealed in a LS arc.

Sorry, Im getting ranty. I <3 this game, I just had to voice my discontent as of late.

Connecting GW1 on Steam to my GW2 account?

I purchased GW1 on Steam – Trying to connect it to my GW2 account. I’ve tried to add the game on the GW2 website via My Account and the game code found in steam, and tried to add GW1 to an existing account while loading up GW1 but I get error messages both ways.

Whats the right way to go about doing this?

I feel the pain for the double legendary weapons and wanting compensation but at what point do you stop doing this? With items crafted in the mystic forge like infinite light and foefire weapons? What about duplicate BL skins that are now worth hundreds of gold?

It is what it is. We’re lucky to even be getting refunds on the gemStore stuff, and the rare dyes is an unexpected surprise. What kind of compensation would even be ‘fair’ for this. You essentially get a couple thousand gold for ‘free’ for having made 2 legendary items that were the same. Myself and many others have duplicates of many zodiac and aetherblade skins; why not get those unBound for free too. The combined total of said skins would be equal to that of a legendary (at least some of the cheaper ones). I’m not saying I demand such a thing, I enjoyed the duplicate skins for the time I used them and have no regrets about it. I also know many people that have duplicate legendary weapons and feel pretty much the same.

No one would turn down a compensation for sure, but I assure you there are plenty of people that are fine living with it and arent storming the forums.

Necromancer
I wanted a power weapon that cleaves for necromancer. I also wanted survival for necromancer not attached to deathshroud, and tapping your lifeforce for health seemed reasonable. If you abuse it though your 2 skill would suffer (not to mention other DS oriented skills/traits). I also wanted a CC and gap closer and while the tuning may be off, I think the 4 and 5 skills fit the necromancer theme. I was thinking of the Chiroptophobia skin when making these skills.

I wanted an elite well. I also wanted some group utility nobody else can offer. The ability to pull a large group of enemies together and have your entire group do double condition damage seemed to fit that. In PvP (where conditions are stronger) you’d have to pair this with other skills to keep players in the well and in PvE (where conditions are weaker) having mobs stay in the well full duration is less of a concern.

Greatsword

  1. Slice – Slice – Soul Cleave
    Chain AA that cleaves up to 5 targets on 3rd attack. Gain life force per target hit
  2. Meta Spike
    Cleave attack that does bonus damage if life force > 50%. Short CD
  3. Life Tap
    Sacrifice life force to gain small portion of health. No CD
  4. Corrosive Terror
    Remove all bleeds from target and transfer them to you. Each bleed removed from the target causes ¼ second of fear. 1200 range. Large CD
  5. Nightmare Walker

Causes up to 10 enemies outside the well (700 radius) to get pulled into the well’s center (240 radius). Those affected take minor damage from the pull and double damage from conditions while inside the well. Each target killed before well ends grant life force.

Thief
I wanted a max range weapon. I wanted the rifle to feel more like a sniper/assassination weapon so the attacks would be very strong but would have long cast times and the longer then average stealth it provides is hopefully offset by the lack of mobility. The long stun would act more like a true CC; its abnormally long but hitting the target would reduce the stun or just instantly break the target out of the stun if the damage is high enough.

I wanted more stealth/invis counterplay and it seemed logical that the masters of stealth would provide that. In the absense of stealth/invis I also wanted group utility put onto a trap. Beyond the obvious PvP uses I could see this skill being useful in PvE as well.

Rifle

  1. Snipe
    Slow attacking powerful shot modified by ammunition abilities
    20% ranged finsher. 1200 range
  2. (stealthed) Headshot
    Slow attacking, piercing, and powerful shot modified by ammunition abilities
  3. Armor Penetration Rounds
    Causes next 2 attacks to become unblockable. 3 Initiative
  4. Ice Bullets
    Causes next 2 attacks to inflict chill. 4 Initiative
  5. Giganticus Tranquilizers
    Causes next attack to inflict a 5 second stun on the target. Damage to the target reduces time of stun. Must remain stationary to fire. 5 Initiative
  6. Camoflouge Kit
    Drape yourself in natural shrubbery and become invisible for 6 seconds. Moving from this stealth breaks it instantly (a moving bush would give you away!). 6 Initiative

Trap: Shadow Dampener; 40 sec CD
Set a trap. Those triggering become marked and lose stealth/invis effects. Effected targets are lit up, unable to re-stealth/invis, and take 5% additional damage from outside sources for 5 seconds

Mesmer
I wanted a mid-range power weapon to pair with our pistol OH. I wanted condition removal, thus the AA and light field. The ring would be easy to kite AI through for bonus damage but smart players would either just stand until its gone or teleport out of it.

I wanted more of the unique support that mesmers are known for. I also wanted that support to be offensive, so essentially this is a normal mesmer portal that works on enemies rather than friends. The order of the portal exit-entry are reversed to commodate banishing enemies. There’d have to be some QA in place to make sure it couldnt be used to get bosses bugged on ledges and such but I think it would offer some interesting play in PVE and PVP.

Pistol (MainHand)

  1. Ether Shot – Ether Shot – Ether Transferal
    Chain AA that transfers a condition to foe on 3rd attack. 20% ranged finisher. 900 range
  2. Ether Retreat
    Create a clone where you stand and evade backwards. Short CD
  3. Ring of Pain
    Fire a force ring at your target for 2 seconds with 180 radius that causes high damage to the
    target if they exit the circle. Nothing stops them from leaving but themselves.
    Light field. Medium CD

Glamour: Banish Exeunt – Banish Entre; 90 sec CD, 10 sec duration
Create an exit banishment portal at your location that teleports enemies to after walking into your entry banishment portal.

Ranger
I wanted a real support oriented weapon that revolved around our spirits. The fairy spells would create little lights to fly around the ranger when charged and using them would function like mesmer mantras. I was thinking of a ranger staff more like a bo-staff or totem pole, not the normal elementalist/guardian weapon.

I wanted an elite shout for ranger. Hate or love pets, I think the pairing of both pets out with other pet abilities like Sick’em would be very strong.

Staff

  1. Smack – Crush – Venerate Spirits
    Chain AA that heals all Spirits on 3rd attack by modest amount
  2. Forest Fairy – Tap Fairy (instant)
    1 second channel to summon the fairy that swarms the ranger. After channeling, the fairy can be tapped twice to instantly cause all party member’s next attack to remove a condition. Medium CD
  3. Mountain Fairy – Tap Fairy (instant)
    1 second channel to summon the fairy that swarms the ranger. After channeling, the fairy can be tapped twice to give all party members stability for 2 seconds. Large CD
  4. Beast Spirit
    Summon a beast spirit that causes all pet F2 and summon minion on-use abilities in your party a chance to reduce that CD by 2 seconds when those respective pets and minions attack. Affected by spirit traits
    Beatmode: all pets and summon minions in your party become immune to damage for 2 seconds. 25 second CD on use
  5. War Spirit
    Summon a war spirit that grants allies a chance to gain 2 might. Affected by spirit traits
    Fury of War: your War Spirit gives your party fury for 5 seconds. 25 second CD on use

Elite: Shout “I Choose Both of You!”; 120 sec CD
For 10 seconds, both of your selected pets appear at full health as if just summoned.
All effects and abilities which affect your pets will affect both pets during this time.

Guardian
I wanted a ranged weapon that covered areas not already covered by our other two. I wanted it to be a mid-range weapon since we have a 1200 already (hate it or love it). I wanted it to have some interesting burn mechanics and eating applied burns could offer more validity to burn builds. The rest of the attacks are support oriented. I was thinking of our summoned bow, the one summon weapon we cant actually use, and its essentially a healing/support weapon.

I wanted an elite shout for guardian. I think guardian should have access to a water field, even if its on a long CD. The ability to pull allies may grief players in PUG situations but I think coordinated groups in any setting could find interesting uses for this effect.

Short Bow

  1. Arrows – More Arrows – Soothing Arrows
    Chain AA that heals allies around the target on 3rd attack. 20% ranged finisher. 900 range
  2. Burning Arrow
    Blue flame arrow causes heavy burning on target. Medium CD
  3. Consume Flame
    Heal the guardian for an amount equal to the damage that would have been dealt by your self applied burning on the target. This removes your burning condition. Medium CD
  4. Healing Barrage (Symbol of the Luminous)
    Channel for 2 seconds and heal with magical arrows in targeted area.
    Area counts as symbol and light field; does minor damage. Medium CD
  5. Cleansing Barrage (Symbol of Lustrate)
    Channel for 2 seconds and cleanse conditions over time in the targeted area.
    Area counts as symbol and fire field; does medium damage. Large CD

Elite: Shout “Friends, to me!”; 120 sec CD
Creates a water field where the guardian stands. Pulls up to 5 allies 600 away into it when activated. Counts as a leap finisher for those pulled

edit: Thought up another elite that would be less trolly for some. Its something nobody else can do, which is nice, and hopefully the weakness to the guardian would offset it’s strength.

edit: Elite: Blood Phoenix; 180 sec CD
Target dead ally (completely dead / not just downed state) resurrects back to life with 50% health with a de-buff for 60 seconds. If they go downed (downed state) in that time, the guardian also goes downed (downed state)

Warrior
Warriors already have lots of weapon options, so I was thinking of things it dosnt already have and I wanted a way to apply burning not attached to longbow, and a gap closer for 1 handed play. I was thinking of a blunderbuss-type pistol (and obviously Zelda). I wanted the gap closer to have restrictions and have ways that seperate its identity from normal gap closers.

I wanted an elite shout, and I wanted an effect that wasnt already in the game and not just more might/fury stacking stuff. The shout wouldnt interupt casts unless the casts required an offensive target. I think this would allow skilled players interesting options in PvE and PvP while hopefully a short duration wouldnt make it too OP.


Pistol (OffHand)

  1. Incendiary Round
    Fire a cloud of ignited shrapnel that causes more damage the closer you are. Large damage and heavy burn if under 200, half damage and less burn under 400. Medium CD
  2. Hook Shot
    Fires grappling hook at target location that reals you in (1-2 seconds); evading as you move.
    Can use other attacks while moving. Cannot be used to change elevation.
    Must be at least 600 away with 1200 max range. Leap finisher. Large CD

Elite: Shout “My Enemies are Your Enemies!”; 120 sec CD
Causes enemies to attack your enemies that are closest to them. In PvP/WvW enemy’s friends become red targets and their red targets become friendly for 4 seconds.
Does not interupt attacks

edit: I play an Asuran Warrior so it was easier to envision a gadget/pistol but on review it seemed less fitting for the average warrior. The seldom used torch in this game can apply the desired burning I wanted and would fit the warrior theme a bit more. As usual, I tried to think of skills other torches in game dont already have.

  1. Weapon Ablaze
    Set your MainHand weapon on fire, initiating a 10 charge count. Each attack with your MainHand removes a charge and inflicts a short duration burn. Large CD
  2. Ignite

Elementalist
I think of the elementalist as the master of combo fields, so I wanted a weapon that did new things with combo fields not already in the game. I think of the ‘piercing’ attack as a short range line, like a fast attacking rapier.

I wanted an elite that did new things with fields too. Its an arcane skill that effectively acts as a counterplay to any enemy combo field cast inside.

Sword (MainHand)

  1. (fire) Searing
    400 Piercing attack, on 4th of chain causes 2 second fire field
  2. (fire) Melting
    300 Piercing attack that causes damage bonus to burning foes. Short CD
  3. (fire) Fuel Rods
    Add 4 seconds to any fire field you’re standing in. Medium CD
  1. (water) Spike
    400 Piercing attack, on 4th of chain causes 1 second water field
  2. (water) Crack
    300 Piercing attack that causes damage bonus to vulnerable foes. Short CD
  3. (water) Replenish
    Add 3 seconds to any water field you’re standing in. Medium CD
  1. (lightning) Wrack
    400 Piercing attack, on 4th of chain causes 4 stacks of vulnerability
  2. (lightning) Energy Bubble
    300 Piercing attack that reduces CD of water attunement by 1 second for each vuln target hit

Dark: area lifesteal
Ethereal: area confusion
Fire: removes all might from enemies in area
Ice: area chill
Light: area daze
Lightning: area stun
Poison: area torment
Smoke: reveals all enemy stealth in area
Water: removes all regen from enemies in area

Engineer
I wanted a melee power weapon for engineer. I wanted skills that felt like hammer skills but differed enough from other hammers in game. I was thinking of the Aetherblade hammer skin when making the skills; a steam powered invention. I also wanted skills that rewarded intelligent play.

I wanted a power melee kit as well, but I didnt want it to just be the hammer skills in kit form. I was thinking it’d be used in addition to another kit so I wanted it to have synergies with lots of different kinds of builds. The overdrive skill replaces the configuration skill after activating, each with different effects and CD. For the fist launch (thinking of Blitzcrank) I wanted the longer than average stun to be offset by stunning the user as well.

Hammer

  1. Smash – Bash – Shock
    Chain AA that causes weakness at end of 3rd
  2. Pnuematic Pound
    Wave of sonic damage centered on you. Medium CD
  3. Nebulous Surge
    Cone of lightning damage that also blinds foes if they’re on fire. Large CD
  4. Pzzzap
    600 range single knockdown with large CD. If you interupt an attack the CD is halfed
  5. Lightning Bonded
    High burst lightning melee attack. Does bonus damage if target has weakness and large bonus damage if target has both weakness and blind. Large CD

Kit: Power Fists

  1. Punch
    AA that does different effects based on configuration
  2. Explosive Tipped Configuration – Overdrive; 30sec CD
    Causes Punch to be a 3 chain attack with the 3rd becoming a higher damage explosive attack
    3rd attack effected by explosive traits
    Overdrive: while in this configuration, may trigger overdrive to gain 3 secs of haste
  3. Elixir Infused Configuration – Overdrive; 30 sec CD
    Causes Punch to be a 3 chain attack with the 3rd attack healing the user
    3rd attack effected by elixir traits
    Overdrive: while in this configuration, may trigger overdrive to gain 5 secs of regeneration
  4. Hot Wired Configuration – Overdrive; 40 sec CD
    Causes Punch to be a 3 chain attack with the 3rd attack dazing
    3rd attack stuns instead of dazes if target is on fire
    Overdrive: while in this configuration, may trigger overdrive to gain 3 secs of stability

Hello!

I decided to create my own fake feature patch, adding 1 weapon and 1 skill for each profession. A.net said they would first add existing weapons to professions that couldnt use them before creating entirely new weapons, so each weapon choice was restricted to one that currently exists. Abilities I wanted to add did not all universally fit into an elite or normal utility slot so I did not restrict the 1 added ability to one or the other.

I tried to opt out of using actual numbers in as many places as possible; using words like ‘minor’ and ‘large’ but where I actually used numbers, try not to judge them too harshly. Think of these more as conceptual ideas, since I obviously have no way to test this stuff. Some of my skill names may be slightly dumb so feel free to suggest better. Feel free to suggest ways they could work better too (or if you just hate them thats fine). I tried to think of functions that did not already exist in the game and added a couple sentences above each profession on what I was trying to do.

I purchased 1 Marjory Dagger when they were first released. Waited until the re-release a week ago and happily got 3 more only to hear about the new wardrobe being released next month only days after. This essentially wasted 600*3(1800) gems. Figured it was worth a try to submit a ticket for gems refund and was denied; even after a couple pokes.

I know they dont ‘have’ to do anything, so please dont remind of it. Its just a lame thing to do a loyal customer and thought I’d pass along the experience in a PSA sorta way.

Sorry if I wasnt clear, by ‘it wont effect my Zerker characters’ I meant that I wont be changing my gear at all on those characters, full Zerker will still be the way to go. I use celestial stats on support/tank’ish characters that will now feel even more pressured to simply go full Zerker. So this major update for me is tantamount to ‘surprise! you get to spend another 1000g / time gated stuff to re-gear everything that wasnt Zerker, into Zerker, and its not even as good as it was before this patch!’

In all likelyhood, if this isnt handled well, I’ll prolly just become bitter about even playing those characters and just stick to my zerker warrior/mesmer. The prospect of having to reinvest so much money/time on potentially broken gear is depressing. Since this is only the ‘first step’ too, and theres no telling what steps 2-whatever are, its prolly not even smart to make any gear until a.net decides what they want to do (if they even know).

As already stated, the issue isnt the fix for future celestial purchases. Its that it will still be nearly as worthless to most players that made it already as if it wasnt even buffed at all. Changing the entire function of a stat allocation without compensation is not okay. The mistake was made by a.net not us players, a.net and other players shouldnt think ‘too bad so sad’ towards those people.

edit: furthermore, and I dont understand why more people arent stating this, this crtDamage change isnt effecting my full Zerker characters AT ALL. This change is dirrectly effecting all my slightly tankier / support characters. Isnt this the opposite of what its intended to do?

Increasing all stats is certainly better than out-right nerf, but it changes the purpose/function of this set. You can argue that it would better fit that ‘little of everything’ function but it changes from ‘little of everything + tons of crit damage’ which is often how I would justify even using it in the first place.

Basically, if all thats done is having all stats increased slightly to compensate, the set itemization would be better off if thats what you want for future buyers, but I’d still want refunds on all my Divinity/Traveler Runes, Ascended Celestial Armor, and even expensive 5/5 and WvW infusions in Celestial Jewels. I wouldnt have gotten any of those things with this new slightly different function (ironically I’d have just gotten full Zerker in pretty much every case that I have Celestial stats now)

Celestial & Ferocity = nerf?

My Assassin weapons I take on my bunker guardian feel more heavily nerfed then my Zerker weapons on my warrior.

My Divinity runes I take on my bunker guardian / staff elem feel more heavily nerfed and they’re essentially the ‘support’ characters a.net wants to promote with this change.

My ascended Celestial gear I took on pure dps characters for heavier survival without going full PVT feels more nerfed then my full Zerker characters.

edit: I’d also like the expensive mysticForge 5/5 infusions and WvW infusions refunded to me for my soon to be junked celestial rings in various characters.

Bottom line: these changes feel like they were made with no consideration to non-Zerker stat allocations that also had crit damage %.

I can bite a huge cost to divinity runes, but if this isnt addressed I will be submitting a customer complaint about my ascended celestial gear.

Concerns about new FOTM

The subject of MF gear is itself a heated topic. I personally find it offensive for any group effort as it means you’re doing ‘less’ and people with full stats on their gear are doing ‘more’. Maybe, MAYBE, if it applied MF to their whole group as compensation for being ‘carried’, but otherwise its such a disrespectful thing to me.

For high lvl fracs I can see something like ‘agony 5+, link backpack for invite’ in the notes on lfg.com. I’m sure theres going to be plenty of people that expect way more for far less content though. Already see lfg requests like ‘LFM for ACexp, 80s in full exotics only’ (its a lvl 35 dungeon), or ‘LFM for FOTM1, NO NOOBS’ (ironic). You can argue about min/maxing stuff but I think anyone with half a brain will just laugh at those LFG requests.

Happened again, I dont DC anywhere else in the game, can run regular dungeons for hours on end without issue. ATM cant get past frac15 because this keeps happening.

Happened -again- to me just now. I’ve lost track as to how often I’ve been screwed by this.

Is there any estimation on when the game will be playable again?

Theres definitely mobs/bosses that feel like they need some health tuning but once you learn encounters they’re generally all easy enough without using the huge exploits people tend to do.

I chain run dungeons mostly for the money and get 1000s of tokens with nothing to spend them on. Usually just getting weapons/armor for alts or to feed into the mystic forge. I’d love for there to be a way to buy certain lodestones and other rarer mats for even large amounts of dungeon currency; give them a purpose.

This just happened to me again, did full clear of fotm13, then did 3/3 of fotm14 and the jade maw wouldnt load for me, client wasnt responding anymore and lost progress for the night.

This has happened to me or someone in my group dozens of times. Its extremely frustrating and hope that its fixed tomorrow. If not I hope we dont have to wait another month for a fix because this is GAME BREAKING.

Dungeoning Plight - Request

I got to Lupicus last night in Arah P3 and had server instability cause 3 of my party to DC during phase1 and unable to get back in. Took like 10 minutes to kill it with just the 2 of us and obviously we couldnt continue with the dungeon after that.

Ran Arah up to the end of path 1 and the final door didnt open so we got no tokens or credit for the clear. Put in tickets about it but never got tokens or responses.

Ran Arah path 2, you guys did a quick patch while we were in there, friend DC’d and couldnt join back up with us for tokens/credit; we were up to the final boss before this happened to him.

Doing fractals and had someone leave on the 3rd part of a diff setting so we had to do it with only 4, took a while since the game dosnt allow you to get replacements. We beat it and moved on to the bonus boss. I DC’d on the squid boss at 20%, obviously unable to come back in and get credit/rewards.

Overall – The theme of grief that I’m feeling here is that server/internet instability is random and if you ‘roll’ badly you lose all your money/time and start over, sometimes setting you back many hours of playtime.
Please make fixing this a priority.

American Server with Europe Server ?

I’m trying to play with friends from a Europe Server and I am on an American Server. Whenever the 2 from Europe or the 3 from America try to join a dungeon created by people from the other server, the other party gets a ‘please check your network connection’ error.

Are we trying to do something not possible or should we try again later?

Hello Future Guild Prospects!

I have an 80 guardian and a couple other high lvl alts (eng/mes/nec).

I’m mostly interested in static groups for challenging PVE; currently interested in fractals. I finished my world explore within the first month of release and have my dungeon master title (theres little else I know of to vouch for PVE experience here, but I’d be happy to oblige). I’d be more than happy to list experiences from other games if needed as well.

I do PVP, though my lvl of interest is hinged on quality of the activity. I held battlemaster/arenamaster/gladiator titles from wow days as a frame of reference but other than some casual WvW I’ve not found a good group to hold my interest in PVP here.

I typically play support/tanky roles in most games, though I’m not opposed to other tasks.

I have multiple gaming rigs (for home and away), reliable internet, quality voice comms with immediate access to vent/mumble.

What I’m Looking For:

-Active playerbase for highend content.
While I may categorize myself as a casual compared to what I used to play in other games, where the majority of the gaming community or GW2 is concerned, I’m a ‘hardcore’ player. I am very goal oriented and put lots of effort into those goals. I have work and social obligations that come up but still play more than the average person.

-Competent and active leadership.
I’m a military person so maybe I just expect too much from leadership, but I want leadership that sets the standard for other players (through attitude and ability). Hopefully they too are part of the active playerbase.

-I’d be interested in getting in on a SPvP team (if legit) and more than willing to learn from any that currently know the ropes in this arena.

-I enjoy WvW but would prefer to attach myself to a large organized core.

-Stormbluff Isle server.
I’ve made some good friends in the guild I’m currently in (and on the server) that I’m not keen on leaving. The guild itself is however lacking for me which has lead me to look for other communities.

What I’m Not Looking For:

-While I have no qualms in helping other players, I’m not looking to run storymodes everyday or running WvW with only 5ish people.

-I’m also not looking to ‘get in on the ground floor’ of your super awesome new guild.

-Immaturity and complaining.
Knowing the difference between constructive and not constructive.
I’d prefer the ‘mature’ tag listed for your guild actually mean something, not just a box you’ve checked in.
