As a CD player, I’m glad to see TC taking second..you guys put up a hell of a fight! Very exciting matches. As for DB…I can tell your server has some decent, respectable players by the posts in this thread, but nothing makes me happier then seeing your server on the bottom where it belongs after the ridiculous stunts your server pulled during the JQ/DB/CD matchup. Overall, great matchup!

I found the solution to the problem myself. I did a system restore back to Sept 27th, prior to the latest automatic windows update, and the problem no longer exists. I looked at the windows update logs, it appears there was an optional update for my mouse hardware, which I did not apply this time around… curse you windows update!!

Thanks for the tip Anzo. I downloaded, installed, and used driver sweeper, and performed a clean install of the latest drivers/beta drivers. No change, still huge FPS drops when I move my mouse.

@Swordbreaker: You may be right, but I took my best educated guess as to what may be causing the problem. Hoping to find a solution soon, as I still cant play.

Looks like there are several other posts from AMD users. The weird thing is when i use WASD keys to move in game, there is barely any lag, but as soon as I rotate my cam with my mouse, or move my character with mouse, I drop to 1 FPS.

Game has been fine for me since launch, and was fine last night both before and after the patch. When i logged on tonight after this mornings maintenance, I cannot even move my character since my FPS drops from 55 to 1. If I stand still, I get 55 fps. As soon as I try to move or rotate the camera, 1 FPS. I have restarted my PC several times, I am using the latest graphics drivers, and i have tried and applied the “core parking” technique. I am at a loss, and do not know what else to do to fix this problem. Here are my PC stats:

Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
ATI Radeon HD 6870 1024MB GDDR5
12 GB DDR3 Ram
Windows 7 x64 OS

Not bothering with WvW until they fix some of these exploits. I see the elementalist lightning surge exploit was finally fixed, so thats a good start. Now we just need orb hacks and terrain hacks addressed, and free server transfers taken away, and we are in business.

If they were rich, and wanted to use up all your supply, wouldnt it make more sense to build golems, or trebs?

I never really enjoyed pvp until i played GW2, the 3 team WvWvW aspect of the game really caught my interest, and i really enjoy it! But lately is seems that there is just exploit after exploit after exploit being used by all teams involved. It really takes the fun out of the game when a team of 1-5 elementalists use the lightning surge exploit to destroy a keep full of siege, or an entire alliance uses a terrain exploit to capture a tower in borderlands without doing any damage to a wall or gate…or seeing orbs get flown from one side of the map to the other, once again without any damage being done to the keep that held it.

Personally there is no point in going into WvWvW for me any longer until all these issues are addressed by Arenanet. I love this game, and I think Anet did a fantastic job, and I’m really hoping WvWvW gets some love in the bug department really soon!

WHO WE ARE:
Cynical is a [PVX](EST) semi-casual guild on Tarnished Coast server. We are currently a T2 server in Wv3 working towards T1. We are looking for players who have an interest in WvWvW specifically, or PvE. We currently have a member base of approx. 150 players, mostly from Canada and the U.S. We also have several members from EU and we have a group of players that play during EU primetime. Our Guild Events are on a EST schedule, with some additional PST events also.

Wv3 FOCUS:
Cynical runs both offensive and defensive teams in WvWvW, as well as “Strike teams” to capture supply camps and kill yaks. We also have scouts who roam the map and gather intel and call targets. All our teams have the ability to gather together to also form a small guild zerg to take larger objectives, or run independently. This allows our guild to cater to those who prefer “zergs”, and also to those who prefer the small party feeling.
