I don’t think anet understands what’s good or better loot means. For example, why the hell are we getting a guaranteed rare from world bosses when its only once per day? Give us an exotic, how is an exotic too much when there was so many in the last halloween’s mini dungeon? TP is destroying reward system because they’re scared it may kitten up the economy… how about giving us reward, like you know, an rpg? I haven’t beaten the new Teq (tried three times all epic failures) but if, i repeat, if reward is in greens/blues after beating him once im gone and will never bother again.

When farming in this zone for the past 3+ days Others and myself have been getting latency lag on your server end to client, and then DCed. This normally can be resolved with a restart of the map and/or client but now nothing is helping.

Never had this issue in this area until around 3-4 days ago, and it’s getting worse for myself.

Try reformating your system. Over time, your system is clogged up with all sorts of questionable usages. I know for one, when I formated my laptop, previously, I was experiencing about 10-15 FPS and after format, I was running the game at ~25 FPS (quite a decent improvement) considering all I did was format. So performance does decrease significantly over time if you’re not careful with what you click.

Those days of reformatting are pretty null with anything windows xp and above. My computer is 5 years old same system and still out loads his video with a normal HD. If you have viruses, spyware/malware then yes, it may help.

It takes exactly 2 minutes to roll a new character for spvp and gear them up entirely for free. If you feel your profession is currently weak in that setting (warrior) then just click log out, make a new profession, spend exactly 2 minutes to get through the beginner story, then click on the swords icon on the top of your screen. You now have whatever current FOTM profession is wrecking house fully leveled, geared up, and ready to go.

When a balance patch hits, just rinse and repeat.

Now, take this same similar situation with someone who has spent countless hours leveling up their character through Tyria, ran numerous dungeons, farmed copious mats for ascended weapons, spent months doing dailies, monthlies, fractals and guild missions just to get ascended jewelry and then subsequently have that professions damage source nerfed. How bad would that make you feel?

Yes, I am referring to the upcoming condition nerf that J. Sharp is talking about over on the spvp forums. I have a horrible feeling that this nerf will spill over into the world of PvE. So all that nice pretty rabid/ramapgers/dire/etc. gear that you have been working on could be completely unmerited.

Mr. Sharp, ask yourself this. Log into your game and see how many people are asking for a condition spec profession as their last spot in a dungeon or fractal group. Head over to a champion farm group and advertise yourself as a condition damage spec and see how many group invites you get. I know I am in the minority here running pve as a condition spec, but it’s a gameplay type that I enjoy, and when I read some quotes on how you guys see damage, you saw it as two different types, “damage and conditions.” If you wanted us to all just roll zerker gear in pve you should of said, “there is one type of damage in this game, and that is full zerker dps!!!!! YOLO”

There are more people in your game participating in PvE then there are people who participate in sPvP, but it is always the wishes of the pvpers that are heard, and right now it’s their wish to tone down the power of the condition spam meta. That’s great, but before we tone down this insane condition spam meta that impacts the pvpers so greatly, realize how it will effect the pve setting.

And yes, I understand that this condition damage shave that is inevitably coming might be minor, but it might be more than that. It might be a decrease in duration, stack application, damage. Traits might be moved around or removed entirely. Stats on gear might be changed entirely. I don’t know, but the fact is, no one really knows. It’s just this day that is looming in the future, and I know it will be bad day for a condition damage player in a zerker spec world.

That is all.

MMO’s work this way – Buff a class, then nerf it to buff another one keeping people playing, rerolling, and having fun/frustrated. This is MMO’s (ALL). It’s how it is.

The dailies are too much, even for hardcore players.

I just had two friends quit the game within the past week because they could not afford to spend 2-4 hours every single day to get all dailies done. These friends were both hardcore – one with 12501 AP and other with 10339 AP.

I know people will say “You don’t HAVE to do all the dailies”. But, the truth is hardcore players will try to stay on the rankings and will try to do all of them every day.

I think a possible solution for this is to cap the PvE dailies at 10AP/day. This would let the game have more of the advertised “play how you want” feel.

Engineer: Lowest dmg (Even nade build) Requires a lot of bouncing between kits to put out what other classes do much better.

Mesmer: A good Shatter cat build will make doing anything easy and med-high dps

Guardian: The all around fun class, jack of trades master of none. Great support, best defensive class low-medium high dps.

Warrior: Big dps, good hp regen builds, super 1 shot wanderer builds/glass cannons.

Elemental: High to OMFG dps but die quicker than Gillbert Godfrey in a prison fight. They have a good skill set that require MUCH stance dancing but worth it.

Ranger: Don’t know since patch.

Necro: Good survivability, expected dps, fun class if you like kiting.

Thief: Best dps all around but very easy to be killed if not well versed in the fine arts of oh crap run!

Above is all my own opinion and should have no bearing on your own when having fun.

42,000 Karma each. The rings have no gem slots in them, so I’d upgrade them with ascended gear if you really want to maximize Condition Damage.

You can’t buy oranges anymore with karma, and I really don’t want to buy them off TP and support botting (Because them being so rare you know they’re).

Where do you farm oranges?

>Grinded bloodsails 40-60 zones (88 bags 9 oranges)
>grawl (SP?) 35-60 (O oranges)
>Ect 35-65 (O oranges)

ALL MMO’s have TONS of bots—this isn’t the first.

The class based forums here are a bit confusing. I like to come here and read around while I get some downtime at work and I have so far played around with a Mesmer, Necromancer, and a Guardian. I’ve enjoyed playing them all, especially my latest with the Guardian.

However, I must say that these forums at first discouraged me from playing my Necro and re-rolling mainly due to a massive amount of negative posts on the class. Stuff like there only being 1 viable build that is not as good as other classes anyway (conditionmancer), then I noticed there was complaints on Mesmer’s damage and taking much longer to take on mobs, so I tried a Guardian.

Suddenly I noticed a pattern. According to these forums, every class sucks. Necro’s only have 1 viable build and aren’t good at that, Guardian’s are kittened with no range and thus can’t compete in WvW and PvP because they can just be trolled and kited, Elementalists are weak and can be 1 hit, etc… it just goes on and on.

What the kitten guys? This doesn’t help.

Let’s spin the conversation on its head. What are you guys playing, and what do you find great about that class? What works, why do you like it?

People think they know their class, and assume because they aren’t good with it, that it must suck.

While I think ore has very little in the way of gaps to avoid mobs, I really enjoy the place.

Orr is made up of three zones, some of which are worse than others.

Cursed shore is by far the easiest to traverse on Borlis pass because all it ends up being is 4 perma camped events with the occasional Grenth/King/Arah defense fights tossed in for a change of scenery. You can literally go between all 4 events with maybe two risen attacking you. All other events are dead zones thus mob density is higher.

I barely go to Grenth anymore because the chest just isn’t worth it for the frustration of usually losing grenth 2 times before it is finally won.

The botters are abound, thankfully if your skilled and the right class you can train them and leave them to die. Sucks when people rez them though. ANet NEEDS to fix the botters though, because they are ALWAYS in the same places so it shouldn’t be hard to put a system to auto suspend accts based on that.

I haven’t seen this many botters since the f2p MMO’s. It’s really sad to see but at the same time I know there’s a real person behind it feeding a family.

If I don’t enjoy something I find another something—worked for many years.

Ok, I’ve been waiting since launch for a small patch to fix AA—nothing has been resolved thus far.

I can be on any prof, any combo of weapons,and be facing said appoint and have it completely stop attacking.

This is REALLY frustrating, and something that shouldn’t of made it into the games release.

P.S.

Another issue that’s VERY annoying—you turn your back and lose your target.
