This could be a gems item or a event reward, but i’d love it if there was a staff skin that looked like the broom from that toy thing in the gem store.

Yes, but what would we do with it? Logistic wise its to far away. Its why we gave up those other colonies too. Just too expensive.
Much easier to just bribe key people, instead of buying a city. ^_~

So I was in Twilight Arbor, doing the forward path (explore) with a pug team, one of them a revenant.

Half way through the dungeon, there is the room with the four Nightmare rangers in protective bubbles. Normally, you can use the wall portals to get in the bubble and kill them.

Some how, the revenant party member knocked a ranger away from the wall, the bubble coming with them. Leaving no way to get inside.
(I fortunatly had a horn equipped, but that is besides the point)

I don’t know if the guy playing the revenant reported that, but i felt that i should too. Just to be sure.
Time in the picture is GMT+2, so A-net employee, you can check on your end what skill the Revenant used for his neat trick.
It was on EU, and the talk in chat in the picture in my toon.
That should help you find the relative information on your side of things.

I was doing map completion, though before it happened i’d have been getting random moments where the game didn’t respond to my commands or didn’t seem to know my exact location or which way i was turned. as if there was a miss-communication between my client and the server. Where the server did things in different orders from what i commanded it to.
I finally died at Mette’s Posting, strangely enough when i died the npc were missing there.
I thought to see if i relogged, it would drop me on a diff version of the map. But when i loggen back in.
I was apparently off the map somehow.

Dunno if this helps, but i think a certain server is not working as intended

[edit] After i got a under population message and accepted it to go to a diff version of the map, all the strange lag like symtoms disappeard. Maybe a server is breaking down?

I Don’t know why you have an issue with it. Perhaps learning of it was traumatic for you? People are all different after all. Perhaps you could go find somebody to talk to about your issue with it? Then you can overcome whatever made you so upset. And in the end be supportive for your family.

I LOVE the guild hall system we’ll be getting from HoT.
And i’ve noticed some generic decorations in the videos so far.
I LOVE that the decorations will be craftable.

But I think we should give A-net some suggestions on what exactly we’d like to have for decorating our future Halls.

Here are a few from me.

Some Charr obstacle course items. Like found in Hero’s canton, at the Fahrar (near the Primus npc there.)
Charr beds of some kind. (or just some nice rugs like you see in Charr areas.)
Some kind of Charr Medic bay items.
Charr workshop decorations, like tinker benches and spare parts barrels.

And for the arena: Stealth turrets.

As you can tell from my suggestions list, our guild is very much a Charr guild. (we roleplay a Charr warband)
But I think decorations that reflect each of the 5 major races would be cool. And why not add items from the minor races too. I don’t doubt there are ways for those to be fun aswell.

So thats my suggestions, add your own in reply so we can inform what are wanted items for their scribe crafting track, and potentially gem store stuff if they so decide.

From how i understand it, your guild members need to have HoT to be able to capture one of the guild halls. Since they need to be able to get there.
So yes all players who help capture your Hall, need HoT.
I very much doubt a single player can get the hall by them selves.

I am not even remotly connected to this guild. And my heart goes out to them for their loss. I do hope it will get better with time.

That said, from an un-involved player pov: Having a customizable monument would be nice as a guild hall feature. It could just be a interactive object where the guild officer in charge can edit the text which would of course be subject to the kitten filter for obvius reasons.
its uses could from Grave marker, to bulletin board, to achievement marker depending on the guild and what they use it for.
1 item, multiple use options.

Just my pov. But this isn’t the Guilds DCI. (that was last august)

So yea, hope the family who lost thier husband/father and the guild who lost their leader will wheater this pain with grace.

Why is it even possible to have more than 1 beta portal stone drop?
When I see people with two or more, i feel like crying.
Was it not possible to code it so it could only drop once per account?

Here is a question: why is it even possible to get more than one to drop per account?

Or are we actually testing their broken RNG system to see what values an rare item should have when account bound.

So as other have said. its perfectly fine to have 2 account on one pc. However i would like to point out. Account sharing, is againt the ToS. So buying a character slot for your son actually could have gotten you in trouble. (Kids, ya never know what kind of thing they get up to in the 5 seconds you’re not wachting)
So yes, best is getting your son his own gw2 account.

You’ve just basically confirmed that Heart of Thorns will not release prior to August… in fact, it most likely won’t release in August either based on the date of the GCC.

Looks like it’ll be a Christmas release, if that at all.

No she didn’t. Where in her post does she say that? All she confirms is that Arena Net will be at Gamescom.

I’m sad i was not invited for this first test, but since i had my chance the last time gw2 had a closed beta test. I consider it as now it being somebody else’s turn to beta test.
I’m sure we’ll eventually all get to test it, those servers have to be tested at full capasity eventually before launch. Just like last time.
All it means is we, who did not get this first invite, have to wait for the next test.

I made a music list a while back to play inbetween guildwars 2’s great music.
But ever since the latests update, it doesnt play any of my music anymore.
Since there was also the random shouts bug i thought it was related and would be fixed.
But now that shouts bug was fixed but the music wont play.

Anybody else got that bug?

Could you add a screenshot to clarify? it would help the devs a lot.

i’ve always wonderd about that, but i can understand that some birds can’t take down a gate, but some wooden structures surely there are birds that can deal with those.

maybe they share a skin?

So I was in the Sylvari starter zone, for the daily event of the Great Jungle wurm.
When instead we got his cousin, the Great gummy wurm instead.

Everything else worked as normal, but I was not the only one who saw this, it got confirmed in chat.

My issue is that I have a guild chat tab and every time I tab out and back in to it, anything that was written in guild disappears. It works fine and stays in my “main” tab, though. I was going to put a bug report of this in the actual game, but the bug report is bugged….. XD

I have the same problem, it also disapears on changing instanced zone or map zone too.

another guild chat bug: when changing chat tabs, it vanishes the guild conversation. This also happens when entering an instanced map. Or Leaving the city.

Is anybody not wondering about why the npc’s are standing right next to each other on the fort?
First the dialogue between Kiel and Magnus, introducing Hero-tron. Then Evon talking to Hero-tron about having to tell Evon all “the juicy tidbits”. While Magnus and Kiel are still standing right there!
That just doesn’t make sence. Also there is Evon’s twin…

And I’d love to be able to glide on something a little more personal than the generic brown looking thing i’ve seen in the demo videos so far.

Ok, so i got my Charr to 80 and through the personal story.

Then my reward is a soulbound box of lvl 18 armor?

Why not accountbound? Then i can put it in bank, and use it on my next character.
This makes no sence to me!

That isn’t true, the npc asks for ram tokens so you can buy more envelopes.
So why are we not getting those?

I agree. i was always disapointed that after the PS ended Orr was still the same.

Since HoT is such a vertical map, Rangers are limited in the pets that will be usefull there.
So it makes sence to add a few species of Griffon as charm-able pets there.
You can’t expect a ranger to hold their bear or stalker while gliding off a cliff after all.
And the Moa bird can’t fly at all either.
I checked the wiki and there are only 5 Charmable pets that can actually fly.

If i have to do some kind of beast mastery specialization for it, thats fine. If i need to rob a Griffon nest for an egg thats FINE. But pretty please, with a delux expantion pack preorderd on top. Consider giving the Griffons some ranger love!

And especially thanks for recording it, i missed some of the second pax, and didnt find ‘full version recordings’ of it, so i missed some parts, and having seen the other one, with tons of details and interesting chats, I really don’t wanna miss any word.

I have 4 charr characters. only 1 is female simply because armor on females does not look good. my female is a caster so there is that, but most shoulder pieces look way to big on her.
And another pet peve is the tail thing and the gender thing for costumes. If my ele Charr can run in dress like armor. why can’t she have a dress costume? Instead she’s stuck with the male suit.
And I too have more than once reported the charr tracks.

So since this is cool and I love jumping on picture bandwagons. here are some of mine.
