Its not Canadians, and even if there were, we got Asians, middle eastern and Africans in our EU servers too. You going to blame them too? Really?
Its jsut several guilds in the french side playing during the night time, which is unfortunate for the rest of us, but thats the way it is.
In the peak time, I can say that Shiverpeak, Desolation and the French are on even grounds, and we can clearly see that the French arent THE number one that they seem to be every morning. They are even with the other 2 servers. Nothing special, probably should be 2nd or 3rd after seeing these last 3 days.

Well, you cant expect not to die in a dungeon and go in…then blame the dungeons build for getting you killed. Its expected you will die, over…and over…and over.
If you survive, then you were lucky, someone else in the group took all the death streaks for you, or you know what your doing when it comes to avoiding attacks.
Its just not guaranteed that you wont die, because you are expected to die. Thats the challenge Anet put on us players. They made the dungeons so we would die, but yet able to complete them.

Well, the suppressed chat is only on similar, or duplicate messages thats been spammed out multiple times within a certain time frame.
If you alter the message, you can say it.
Like even if your map chat is suppressed, you can still whisper friends, or talk in team chat or what ever.

Well, having a thief in the group helps, just trickshot all the flowers while they auto the boss or mobs down.
Same with any other class tbh, if someone has an AOE down while fighting, then you wont get smashed by the flowers.

I have loved playing GW2 since the 3rd BWE. It has been an amazing change of pace from WoW and SWTOR for me.
I’ve had fun running AC a couple times, though the first time was with quite a lot of dying. But I came out of that first run still feeling like I accomplished something. It was a hard run, but it wasn’t like a WoW raid where you can spend weeks beating your head against the wall trying to beat a HM boss. I can’t wait to run CM and the dungeons that follow it.
So, I’ve done several nights worth of W3 as well. Overall, the experience has been enjoyable. However, after tonight, I suspect I won’t be queuing up for it until the next round starts. I really tried to stick with it tonight, but no matter where I turned, I ran into a wall of enemies. My team was so outnumbered that it was ridiculous . I managed to log a single kill tonight. Tonight ranked at about the worst MMO experience I’ve ever had.
I’m not going to sit here and say, “The other team(s) are cheating!” or “Population balance sucks!” or “Fix your stupid game, ANet!” because that’s not my goal here. My goal is to simply let ANet know that tonight, while playing their game, I told myself, “I’m not doing this again.”
Try joining a guild, and join their events with team chat or something. Voice communication:) It will significantly increase your chance of survival, and kills. You could chance with following PUGs or solo skirmish, but as you have experienced. Death is all you get, with lucky kills here and there:)

Reckon the spawn rate is fine. Its the Damage output when trigger. Real punishing.
Keep the AOEs down, run past them, kill them as they spawn, stand in a safe spot etc etc.

Stop spamming the map chat. People can still see your post. Also, change your message from time to time. Then its not spamming unless its done too much. 10message per minute = spam.
Also, try using local chat too, not only map chat. Change locations to see if there is anyone in other areas that might like to join. Use guild chat, see if a guildy wants to join.

Map completion isn’t a pve based goal it is a global MAP goal. And last time i checked WvW is a map.

But yes, its a global map goal, not a PvE based goal. I dont know where OP got his idea that the 100 Percent World Completion was PvE based.

Well, actually they dont need Canadians for this. A good 3-5 guilds with about 10-15players each could take over the whole map if they wanted at these early hours. I didnt want to post this to start the usual rage. Just saying, my respects will go towards those who actually show good skills, teamwork and tactics. No doubt the French ARE good, especially in peak times for all the other servers. They arent loosing everything and then win during 3am-6am. They are good, but I dont think they should feel at the top of the world:) Shiverpeak was as equally as good, and Desolation is keeping up doing our best. We will win one day:)
Looking at yesterdays WvW match, I think Shiverpeak deserves a good golfers clap (Since we are enemies:P) They held down the French, and Desolation wasnt far behind compared to previous days.
Good job all, and I look forward to all these sneaky tactics I see in WvW. I look forward to countering these tactics with my guild;)

There are African, Asian, Middle eastern countries playing on all servers. Its not only the Canadians, and it certainly is not only the Canadians who speak French in the world, who are playing on EU servers. I can tell you now, that I know a couple Asian people playing on Desolation from Asia. They dont lag, but they do play, and they do play at different times as the average EU player.

Well DKP I can keep up quite well in PvP avoiding 3 loads of catapult fire at a time. Funny thing is when I make a mistake in WvW during a keep seige I still have a chance to recover and continue fighting.
In a dungeon however there is no recovery chance. For instance, in AC when fighting a ranger. How the hell are you supped to avoid their traps when they instant cast right under your feet. I have my dodge key hot keyed, yet the first hit from a ranger trap will always connect. And when it connects it is half your life.
No this isnt about WoW. In WoW when you messed up a pull your team had to work 3 times as hard to recover. You could wipe just as easily in WoW. Just that WoW had CC and the trinity.
If GW2 is planning to roll without the trinity, then maybe they should make the mobs managable for people of ANY role to deal with. At the moment no one can an elite mob of 3. the only thing people can do is hope an NPC grabs the aggro or snare and dodge repeatedly. I would expect that a player could take a good 6 to 8 hits before dying. Then things would make a little more sense. but in this case it is 3 hits max and you are dead. The Endurance bar does not recover nearly fast enough to effectively kite an enemy, plus there isn’t enough space.
On the subject of world events being too easy. It really all depends on the level and amount of people present. Try doing a world event that is 2 levels higher than you with only 4 or 5 people with a champion fight in the end. It will be hard as hell, but it will be managable.
I like doing PvP and I love a good PvM dungeon, but this game’s style has no tactic except run and kite. No true CC. no real debuffs. No real buffs. These buffs and debuffs work everywhere else in the game perfectly, but in dungeons the only thing that works is a snare. Make the boss limp around after someone. You can debuff his strength but he’s still going to kill you in 2 hits. You can use knockbacks, but over half the bosses have stability. It is not good PvM. It is just a zerg fest of praying the mobs go after the right people and running for your life while your team does damage.
All I can say is, once you become more used to the Dungeons. You will understand moving all the time isnt always necessary. You will find times where you could just stand still and range, or attack for 1-2 or more seconds. This will regenerate your endurance bar faster. Just enough for another leap, or 2.
Also, moving back away from the battle from time to time, allows the boss/mobs to target someone else in your team. There is no rule that 1 player needs to dodge all the time. Take turns. It may not seem possible to do this, but if you become more experienced then you will notice these moments.
Also, getting downed is not always a bad thing. Best if you dont! But, I can say that even if your downed, a team mate could res you, and always should aslong as it wont kill you. A dungeon where nobody dies, gets downed other than in boss fight. I dont see how that would be any fun to anybody. Try getting more gold or something from something else? Trying to make money via dungeons isnt the way to do things:) Dungeons give just enough money to reward you and to repair your armour for the accomplishment.
Since when did Anet say Dungeons are made for players to become rich. It could be, but not necessarily.
So, back to the main point here, try to find these “moments” and you would be able to dodge, and avoid certain death.

Well, I know the French are quite organised compared to other servers, very good players and fun to play against. Quite challenging, but…this morning I just logged in to check on my trading post. The picture attached is what I saw.

Either, I should congratulate the French for finding a lot of Nocturnal players who enjoy WvW or…is this a dirty tactic of theirs?
Keep playing untill all the other servers log off at around 2-3am. Then take everything that the other servers upgraded, took and defended the whole day before within 1-3hours time. Then go to bed, and the cycle repeats.
All I can say is…really? My respects to Shiverpeak, and our own very dedicated players on Desolation servers. Shiverpeaks have ramped up their plays, and have been very interesting to play against. Annoying at times because they are our enemy but that makes the game much more fun to play:)
Desolation has done great these last couple days, we are starting to unite and hold our ground. But the French…i really dont know. Good job…taking everything? It just feels like a lack of skills to take everything when most players sleep. Exhausted after a good day of work + WvW in the evening or however they live their life.

There are currently 2 known dungeons with the final boss having a very…impressive healing ability:)
One being the CoF first route, the 2nd being the 4th route for Arah. Atleast the CoF route can be finished^^
But yes, either someone figures out what Anet actually wanted the players to figure out by themselves via the dungeon runs or they actually over tuned it a bit.

If a dungeon takes more than 2min to get to the boss, and more than 10minutes to finish people wont join. It simply cannot be a dungeon run. People want short dungeon runs, and be able to get full dungeon gear + epic loots to make them rich all within 1 day.
What kind of stupid dev team thought the dungeons up?? It takes too long!??

Hmm, I dont have enough data for that but Superior Runes are dungeon specific, and items i dont know. I havnt noticed any dungeon specific exotic item drops. It may be that it is dungeon specific, but as I said. I dont have enough data to say that it is:)

Why should AC be nerfed…? Is it because its lvl 30 content…? Strange:( Last time I went to AC my lvl was scaled down…must mean all dungeons are made equally as hard…
. . . although there are exceptions it seems, but I dont see a valid excuse to make one dungeon easier than the other because its made for lower lvl players. Ultimately if one dungeon gets scaled down, the next dungeon is put up on the list. Where people complain, there is this dungeon at lvl 30 thats easy but why is the lvl 40 dungeon so hard???

What do you mean designated roles? Tank? Whats a tank? The holy trinity does still exist in Gw2, but it doesnt shine like in any other MMOs. Anet is avoiding the holy trinity, so there obviously is no tank.
Agro control, why would there be any such system when there is no holy trinity? Cant dodge? Try increasing your endurance or hotkeying the dodge to your side mouse botton? Too much things going on in your screen? Cant keep up? Well, you sound like a WoW player, but even if your not. Most MMOs have gotten in the bad habit of having multiple automated 3rd party system running on their games. These tell you when to dodge, cast or do it for you.
GW2 avoids all these usual boring stuff that make the game easy. World events are meant to be fun, and challenging to all players. Dungeons on the otherhand is not made for everyone but made for the PvM lovers, those who want to have a good challenge. We PvM lovers, still think the dungeons are too easy.
Do you see the difficulity Anet faces? They solved this by adding a story mode, which can be replayed by the less able, or less Dungeon loving, or less experienced PvM players. When did Anet say that everyone needs to do the explorable instead of the story mode? Since when has story mode been a 1 time play?
There also is no such thing as a trash mob, everything is part of the ulitmate challenge. Its one giant puzzle. Solve it, it gets easy.

I cant see how you had trouble with the boss. I can hardly recall my story mode run with HOTW, but it went smoothly.
Must be bad luck and bad coordination? Ramp up the teamwork, and it shouldnt be a problem I think?

Also, I do agree that dungeons could be tuned up a bit more, but rewards should also be given through out the dungeon. Atleast something better than what we could expect now. Ill leave that bit for the dev team to figure out:D
The cost for dungeon armour is not expensive. Why should it take 2-3 days to get a full dungeon set of armour? Is it just me that finds this stupid?

I think shes bugged or? Has anyone completed her? Because she seems to regen life after 50percent regardless of if we are fast enough with setting the sparks down near the statue in time.
It is not possible to get her bellow 50percent. There is an option to interact with the statue, but it doesnt seem to function.

Well, now we know its not our end. Ive been playing pretty solid ever since the launch except when everyone got dced etc.
Suddenly within 6hours from now, started Dcing all over the place. The game is currently unplayable. It just crashs after character screen load when I try to enter the game.

People dont like what they cant do in 2minutes. If it requires them to watch the screen. Its too hard. If it requires them to tab out and AFK its too easy.
PvE loving players like me, dont care. We want more challenge! Too long dungeons dont exist! Make it long and hard! It can be short too but it better be hard!

Yup, loading screens take years to load, sometimes DC crashs the game into character select with a minor role back on character location. Skills dont cast, everyone is either invisible around me or delayed or walking the 10,000miles walk into the walls or something. Cant open option with esc either, it takes time.
Me being stubborn as I am, and with a lot of patience, am still trying to play lol and reading the forums while i wait for a fix^^ It will eventually come.

Well, it feels good finishing a Dungeon. Sometimes I change dungeons as I get bored of one, or feel like its too much of a drag to continue.
Loot, xp, token and general experience wise, yes its worth it. There are better ways to gain either one of these things except dungeon tokens, but dungeons are good. Bit buggy but good:)

It is one of the harder Dungeon to find people willing to do it as its so far away:) However, you could find people via map chat/High level areas/Lions Arch.
Although I would recommend joining a PvE based guild or a PvX guild to find players easily. A good guild hosts multiple events at a daily base. If your guild is not a PvP guild and is a pvE or pvX based guild with no consistency in hosted events. Then its probably not a very active guild, and just a guild for the sake of being a guild.

Try Lions Arch? It may take time to find players. Its not that easy to find players with the current system set up, but there are usually some people in Lions Arch looking for parties.
The other method is to stand by the dungeon asking for players.
Maybe create your own group if you already havnt? Join a Guild is also a nice way to find players fast.

I’m fine with it being “hard”. They should only fix the Sparks at the endboss at Seer’s path. The arah gear should be the hardest to aquire, sadly there are “8 shard” runs… Would be much better, if you get all the shards at the endboss only (that’s a bit elitist, I know, but do you want every 0815 running around with the complete gear?)
Didnt they fix this? So now its a 4 shard run? Also, i wanted to add. Fix some of the way points please. It seems like way points dont appear after each boss chest area. Is this part of the dungeon plan or just a bug? It would be nice to know if this is part of the design or not. This way we can accept the situation we are lobbed into during every Arah runs.

Well, I do agree some do take some time to kill. Literally AFKing and looking through Youtube videos or making myself a sandwitch and Im 99percent of the time still alive, and the boss still trolling about.
I guess the solution here isnt to decrease the HP of the boss but increase their abilities, and decrease the damage of certain “trash mobs” or decrease their hp. Although I disagree to decreasing overall HP on everything. It would make the dungeon too easy, and the length would be shortened which is not the solution. 10min per dungeon is ridiculous.
