Only waypoint in this path was on the first boss. Anet need to put a waypoint everytime you kill a boss.
I actually think Anet is not adding a waypoint on purpose on all boss kills. It makes the dungeons too easy if there was.
They do seem to add waypoints here and there to help us players a bit.

The only known bug Ive encountered with this event is, none of the spiders or abominations died at the end when they hit the exploding turret near the waypoint.
Sometimes they all die, but sometimes they dont and when they dont there are invisible spiders everywhere in the area around the way point.
The only solution here was to dodge role out of the cave and we were safe. This bug might have been fixed by now. I dont know.
If the suit isnt working and you have a Mesmer in your team/ele i cant remember. They can just use arcane shield and speed buffs to finish the run. As long as 1 party member gets to the end, the way point opens.

I have a quick question about the TP. Who gets the items first off the TP?
Example:
Player A enters 200 orders for product A at 01:00 GMT for price 1g.
Player B enters 100 orders for product A at 01:15 GMT for price 1g.
Player C enters 500 orders for product A at 09:00 GMT for price 1g.
Price of Product A becomes 1g at 10:00 GMT. 500 Supplies for product A comes in at 10:00 GMT.
I think this is a simple model. So Who gets their ordered product first? Is this random or…? Ive noticed that it may not be random but I was just wondering what the community thought of this and knew about it.

Well written, was an interesting read, but as Kaae said, a lot of people have different definitions of fun. Also as you yourself have said Michael, the minority are the ones posting on the forums. The majority does not voice their anger or joy on the forums.
From what I see in game, with the random PUGs i join, only a handful have complained about the dungeon difficulty, and it was never the case of the whole group complaining. It was always 1 player who was dying all the time, or failing to complete something blaming it on the Dungeon. Whilst everyone else in the party thought the current task at hand was easy or fun.
Ive never played Gw1, it did no appeal to me then, but so far I am loving Gw2. Its transformed me from a casual player to a hardcore gw2 player. Reason being, I dont feel forced to farm anything, the Dungeons are challenging. Even with a set in stone tactics placed in most dungeons, there is a huge change you can fail. I like this, but I can see some people dont.

Regarding the dungeons to be a gold sink, I disagree. I ran a full TA run with some players and I made over 1g. Even with repair costs it was 1g, a fellow party member made around 2g+. Only reason he got more gold was because he was getting 60 Tokens + 25s each run. I was getting 45 tokens 19s due to a bug idk. We all died around 1x each. One person died 2 or 3x I cant remember.

We decided to switch over to HoTW and we were able to enter.

Since you are already in the Dungeon forum, i suggest you read the pages of reports about bugs in dungeons. It’s quite an interesting read and it may help you get a better perspective of what we are talking about here.

A better approach would be to remove dungeons completely until they work correctly and are fun for a large percentage of players. That whole “Is it fun?” blog post comes to mind. Seems like they tossed that thought line right out the window.

TBH its not a rant I just find it amusing that some people are allowed to run about at level 80 with full dungeon sets due to " unknowingly " taking advantage of broken events and dungeon’s to power level and loot abuse. However instead of them being punished they are allowed to keep the levels they gained and the loot and everyone else is punished for it.
I would love to see anyone who exploited lose their rewards, but thats up to Anet to decide if they can pull it off or not.
Im sure everyone who jumped over that wall knew deep inside that this was wrong. It cannot be what the developers wanted. I did for sure when I saw my party jumping over that path, I stood on the torch and told them Im not going over that.
What did I get? I got booted from the group after a couple minutes arguing. Being called a noob, slacker, ruining the dungeon, leaving half way is lame etc etc.

You got that right! The problem is that the Dungeons are not TESTED or OPTIMIZED at all. They are completely bugged and full of EXPLOITS.
Instead of fixing the dungeons they penalize ALL the players. How is that even a solution to the problem? Who the #$% even considers such a solution?
Well, I own my own website and I can tell you that even if we test it multiple times at everyday, we still find bugs here and there. Especially after we add a new string of commands, coding etc. We find multiple bugs everywhere that we fix as we go.

True, but that would be a huge amount of angry players in Tyria. Plus i think its hard to figure out who intentionally exploited the bugs, who didn’t know it was an exploit.
Only solution is to take the tokens away from those who jumped over if thats possible, but I doubt this would happen. Its just too many people and it would be MMO suicide to make so many people angry. Most CoF shard exploit farmers are already hotheaded as it is.

If nothing was being exploited, and all runs were decently hard then maybe 200-300 runs for a full armour set including the weps.
Dungeon armours are supposed to be hard to obtain. Its a sign of accomplishment. Not everyone can have the star beside their name for 100percent map completion. Same concept here.

Yeah camping Zojja would have been ok if the golems didnt damage Zojja at the same time they attack the campers.
Although ive only done this path 1s a while ago, so I cant recall the exact details, but I remember we failed pulling all the golems out of the room and we were running around on the outer wall of the room.

Is this the golem spawning part? You need to pull agro away from Zoja, stay within the room. run around on the outer area of the room, dont be near Zoja. Try to be near or beside the golems as they spawn it helps to take agro onto you and off Zoja.

Read through it. Glad you enjoyed it:) I also agree this is one of the most enjoyable path. Only regret is I died half way during the last boss, and I couldnt get back in. I saw a giant wall blocking my path, and after the boss was done the wall didnt disapear. I turned 90 degrees to the right and there was no wall…was one of my fail moments but we all laughed it off and collected our loots:)

This path is probably the hardest in terms of getting to Lupicus. I actually think its bugged. If you look at the opposite door right before the steps leading down to Lupicus. You can actually unlock this door if you find the power source controlling it. There is an option that says “Open door” or something like that. You will get a reply from the door about the powers controlling the door.
Its just a guess but I think this door is supposed to be unlocked by tping onto the other side via another waypoint which is supposed to appear. Just like in the warden path, another way point appears so players can unlock the door that leads to a closer way point.
However bugged this path may be at the Lupicus area, it is still doable. With a Pug it took 3 wipes before we were able to kill Lupicus off. The last boss of the Jotun is quite interesting so its well worth the run tbh;)

Ive already written a guide for Lupicus. Its the only guide that I think Arah needs as of yet. Everything else is quite simple after Arah, and its more fun to solve the puzzles Anet put out for players after Lupicus that read it up somewhere. It spoils the fun;)
Plus im sure many people know what to do after Lupicus. If people find it difficult, I might write another guide, or even better make a video guide. It might be easier since there is so much content after Lupicus.

Might aswell live with it, and report the issue. Itll be fixed once Anet figures out whats causing the bug. Some people only get 6 because theyve farmed that particular dungeon/have done multiple dungeons within a set time frame or was just bugged.
I got 40 tokens for my 4man SE run instead of 60 which should have been the correct figure. Am I here crying? No. I reported it, and I wait for a fix.
Maybe you enjoy running the same content over and over for no reward. If that’s the case then have fun, you’re in the tiniest of minority and deserve no respect or consideration from the devs since you’ll eat up whatever they throw at you.
If you took 5 kitten seconds to actually look at 90% of the posts on this forum you’d see that there is NOBODY reporting 6 badges after farming and ONLY people reporting that they got 6 badges for their first ever or first run of the day.
Again, if you want to keep doing the same content for no reward or bugged reward then why the kitten are you even here? Go smash your face against some poorly balanced dungeons and allow the rest of us to actually discuss how the game needs to be improved for the other 99% of players that want to get something for their time.
Only a small majority of us who actually dont cry about dungeons being too “hard” because they are easy come on the Dungeon part of the forums. We know what to expect. Rants and whiners mainly from CoF. Now we will see a wave of Arah token farmers who cant farm tokens from Arah anymore because its “Too hard”. Or you need a team that can listen to the “Single Target command”. Press T and target the same target.

Guardian isnt going to do much here, Id rather have a tone of rangers, necros and what not. Use consumables. Itll reduce your incoming damage, and increase your health + regen.

Hey, dont worry your not the only one. Me too;) But if its bugged, you cant do much about it but report it to Anet, so they can fix it. If they dont fix it after a while. Either they didnt understand the bugged aspect of the battle or its not bugged and players arent doing the right thing.

Dwanya is literally impossible to beat. CoF magg isn’t possible to beat the way the devs explicitly said to do it. There’s some others but I cba to find them myself.
Dwayna is bugged/over tuned. You can try everything you want with her, you wont beat her. Although its more of a graphical glitch over over tuned tbh.
Magg can be beaten, if you know how. Giving up just because you died over 10x isnt an excuse to call something impossible. Im sure anyone whos fought Dwayna would agree, that the fight with Dwayna isnt particularly hard. Its just bugged/over tuned heals.

Dont need Nerf. Why would we need a nerf on the hardest dungeon Anet gives us? Can we players not clear the dungeons? I doubt it cause I just did Varra path less than 24hours ago.

Path 1 is only available the group with Mesmer or Big Luck.In Path 2, as Mr. Robert Hrouda said, kill them all in bomb room is his mind. Not kiting.
I have to disagree with Path 1. My first attempt was with 2 warrior, 1 thief, 2 ranger. We managed to DPS nuke the boss down. We just dished out poison, bleeds, raw DPS + spammed out any quickness we had. It still took a good 30min+ to beat the dungeon as we always had to regrouped while fighting the boss. We had a caller who would say “Now!” and we would spam out everything we had on the boss.
Path 1 can be done without mesmers or Guardians. Path 2 can be done either by kiting + death chains / kill everything in the room (or the majority to control the numbers).
Of course, if you finish the Path 1 without mesmers, you are the big luck. Only 2 options on that. If you wanna to show the third option, show us on youtube.
As Mr. Robert Hrouda said, kill them all is the tactic that official preferred method. If a stage request players got several killed to clean it, EPIC FAIL!
I dont understand why people think Guardians and Mesmers are the only key to complete path 1. I have nothing to prove to the community when it comes to this path. It can be done, and Ive done it. Others have done it without the Mesmer and Guardian.
A youtube video doesnt prove much. Its another “Bigluck” group that was able to win on video. Best answer tbh is do it yourself without a Mesmer and Guardian oriented group, and win. It can be done, once you understand that, you will think this arguement was a waste of space on the internet.

Most CoF farmers ive met call the exploits “Jumping puzzles”. They only ask for the dungeons to be easy. I have yet to meet a CoF Farmer who asks to increase the difficulty of the dungeon. Especially path 2.
Im not a CoF farmer but if I was going to suggest how to improve the path 2 dungeon, I would say without hesitating. Make it harder to complete the Devo Nest event. Its too easy, I can do it with my eyes closed. The 1st boss needs to become smarter, and perhaps do more types of attacks, perhaps summon more ads. Its too easy.
The fireball collecting thing seems fine, but its a bit buggy, and the obstacles put by Anet seem too easy to hop over. The mobs spawned during the obstacles and the fire turrets can be ignored and tanked.
The lava field was fixed yes, but it can still be easily jumped through by the whole team who just stand on a safe spot to lure mag to them and boom. Finished with the lava field event, not much of an event tbh.
The bomb room. Well this room is quite good as it is, its near a way point, it can be kited/killed depending on how the team wants to proceed.
The last boss? The idea of the room is good, damage is good but the 2 problem I have with this room is. The Baelfire boss is too easy, his spirit doesnt do much. I can ignore him all I want, and it wont even make a noticeable difference in the fight. The giant thing in the center that everyone is attacking has too little life, or its too easy to take down.
Just a little comment from someone who doesnt farm CoF and knows nothing about the pain that CoF has caused its fan.

Wait, 5-6 hours?? Ouch, so pugging CoF to complete my armor set is out of the question. My guild isn’t that hardcore/serious about dungeons too…
If you think your guild cant help you, find another one or try to encourage them to help your cause.

I would also like to see a comment from a Dev if possible on this matter with this boss. When my dungeon group attempted to beat her, it was impossible to get the boss bellow 30percent hp no matter what. We were even on voice chat, so we had excellent coordination with the tactic being practiced at hand.

Personally I think they did a very good job with Lupicus. He is hard enough so you cannot do him with a fair amount of skill and persistence, and when you do actually beat him, because of the infamous name given to him by the forums, it made you feel like you could take on the world.
Add the fact that its a 10,000year+ old beast that was feared by mortals
