On another note, to all you who betrayed HoD, shame on you. There is one thing I cannot stand, Server Hoppers. Sad to see guilds that were once part of HoD making it a top server on the opposing servers now. I wont go into specifics, but they know who they are.

The guilds that made HoD a top server, mainly those of us who were in the Titan Alliance, feel no shame for spreading out and leaving. We didn’t like the idea of one powerhouse server. Hence the split. I’d think more on your words before calling out groups.

As Unlimited is formerly of the now retired Titan Alliance and thus formerly of Henge of Denravi, it’s good to see that HoD is still throwing their weight around! Lot’s of epic guerilla tactics being done today, hopefully more tonight.

Fort Aspenwood/Darkhaven/Henge of Denravi disagrees.

Let’s not jump to conclusions gents. Let’s wait and see what’s actually in store for us. Then we can decide if it’s worth as much complaint as it’s already got.

Interesting turn this matchup took over the weekend. Hope to see everyone out in force during NA Primetime during the week. ULTD will be out there. We had a blast Friday/Saturday.

Just to throw in my two pennies on the spawn camping issue, I have to say I see no point. I’d rather lose a few hotspots then sit and wait behind siege. It’d be much more entertaining to then try and take it back. I guess I can’t speak for everyone, but I hope it stops.

The EU half of the transfers are still in discussion, they may not even come over.

As a Yaks Bend commander, I can assure you, while we HATE free server transfers, we do not begrudge any server those transfers. The week got more fun once the transfers happened. Did those transfers effect your scores? Yes, as you had more presence at certain times. Are we crying in our milk? Not the commanders. If one or two is, then I am sorry, but do not take the feelings of a minority to the feelings of the majority.

Good work all week. I wasn’t impressed with the EU transfers anyway. Only people I really remember were Unlimited and PRO. That’s about it.

This, right here, and we’ll remember you as well. Epic battles with you guys this week.

As for the fighting that took place during this matchup… ferocity was unmatched. Unlimited, BT, and PRO to name just a few went out in force and fought regardless of Fair Weather backup. The server saw the tide switch and came out to meet us. FA has the spirit to push this tier, but found it a few days too late.

I have to agree with Haldunis, I hope for the best in their decision.

That aside can we get a map/points update! Some of us still have 5 hours on this shift! Need mah fix.

I cannot tell you how many time’s I’ve superman’ed passed something that’s 3 feet in front of me. And yes, I have it targeted.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this week was a blast. Heavy early lead from YB brought the best out of FA, man. We pulled no punches and came out with some serious intensity and fought to close the gap. I can speak for all of ULTD, and I think FA, when I say great matchup, hope to see YB again soon.

You guys have great organization, turtling and portal bombing skills. Now I don’t rush right in when I see ULTD around.

I can say this week, we’ve had more fun fighting then we’ve had in a while. We’ve actually had to dive in with more up our sleeve. Cheers to future fights!

It should be 30 days for 25$, or 3 days and a 30 day lockout from WvW which can be cumulative.

Yes, I was referring to us enjoying working with them. PRO, GODS, and BT as well. We work on an almost nightly basis with BT (specifically their Commander Malose) and it’s always a pleasure.

ULTD has been on Fort Aspenwood for nearly month now. We came from HoD as one of the 5 charter guilds of the Titan Alliance. Once we retired the Alliance to split and make our own paths it took us a bit to decide where to go. We and some friends looked at Fort Aspenwood, and while there are a lot of Fair-weather WvWer’s, we’ve no regrets. The server has great fighting spirit, communicative and organized leaders, and the right amount of pride and gusto. We love it here.

It seems red stands for underdog team green is the most like to win and i guess blue is the in-between. So most like green wins though blue can win red most often will not win. SF is out number at all times on all maps last week why would it be any different this week i hate rematch its a waist of a week in wvw.

I don’t know if that’s the case but Sword paired with Focus will keep you alive longer. At the very least long enough for your CDs to be back up and roll ’em again.

I use Celestial and Abyss, Abyss and Illumination, or Celestial and Sapphire.

Increase the outmanned buffs’ stats and have it so you keep it after you die. Right now when you die it disappears.

I have to agree. Some of them look paperthin. Like giant axes. Puff out those Hammers and make them look like the sledges they need to be!

As a Commander who was involved with HoD during the early release of the game and a former WvW Commander in the Titan Alliance, I can say the level of organization within this server is refreshing.

Simply put there is just flawless cohesion with the groups; with little contact, all the while keeping each other informed, we make moves simultaneously.

We have a few people who sit in a set channel in our (Unlimited [ULTD]) TeamSpeak and coordinate positions and maps, some other Commanders find out via Whispers where which groups are headed, spread out our forces, or combine them if a map needs help. It’s just a true pleasure to fight along side other motivated and organized groups.

If you’re EU or Oceanic and you’re looking to advance in WvW, we’re the night crew you’re looking for.

Enjoy the fight guys! Hopefully sometime this weekend we’ll get power back and most of the NE Coast will join back in. I know I’m missing it!

Putting everyone who uses it incorrectly in the same listing as people who use it for it’s intention simply because you had a bad experience seems kind of silly to me..

As a Commander I usually turn it off if we’re making moves that involve a level of subterfuge that the blue icon might disrupt, or if I’m not in WvW; it really is that easy. It can be just clicked off.

On Fort Aspenwood the other Commanders and I have spent every night we’ve taken our guilds into WvW getting ready in whispers to each other, some of the other Commanders have come on Unlimited’s TeamSpeak to ask what map and with how many? Whether we wanted one of the other guilds to come with us, or our thoughts on what to hit hard and what to let slide for the point gain in the long run.

I think the complaints about Commanders are situational, but following some simple common sense rules should set you straight. IF you have a blue icon and you don’t plan on making use of the group willing to follow you via the organization you have at your fingertips, turn it off.

If you see a Commander being trollsy and refusing to turn it off, ignore him and move with a different group. I find it hard to believe there’s only 1 Commander per map.

Can we get a map shot and a score shot too? Sandy has made getting any info difficult.

Pictures of anything listed would be appreciated! Not sure what to transmute for my thief. Was thinking the Ghastly pistol and dagger don’t look too bad either, but not so keen on farming ~600 badges worth of AC runs again.. I’d rather be in WvW.

Just wondering what some of you have come across anything with an Assassin-worthy chic to it as far as graphics for Daggers and Pistols? Since they’re primarily used by Thieves more often then not, I figured this is the right place to ask.

Get over it. That’s what PvP is. We get it, the transfers make it hard, the rendering is awful, zerg this and that. Just play the game, chest puff when you win, and make excuses when you lose.

I play 0.15.30.20.5 Hammer/GS Guardian and I’ve never had more fun. I can do some pretty amazing things in WvW. The survivability coupled with decent damage output and control over 1-4 opponents at a time is awesome.

I think you need to find a profession you’re more suited to play with, but calling what a lot of us are doing successfully redundant is silly.

Kasei that’s not a bad thought though. I agree they don’t need to be I win buttons, but they should hold to their status as Elite. I think you should post some of your ideas. How else can we get the ideas out there!

I’ve had no issue UNTIL recently. As of the patch change I notice I’m actually over-shooting mobs that are stationary or moving towards me slightly, and under-shooting mobs that are running from me by a tremendous margin.

It’s supposed to be a gap closer right? O.o might need a bit of tweaking. All in all you can work around it, just thought it was odd.

Unlimited [ULTD] had a blast in EB last night, and this entire matchup. FA can look forward to facing TC again. Tons of fun this round, win or lose the fights were amazing.

I have to say I’m stuck in a similar rut right now. I’m 54/55 and can’t find a setup that kills the amount of things I need quickly enough. Using Sword|Pistol/Shortbow right now, and it’s just meh. I also have all my points in Acrobatics/Shadow Arts. I might need to take a different track for leveling. Any thoughts?

I’d love to know the exact item name of your Shoulders, Chest, and Gloves. They are great graphics.

My main isn’t a thief, but I’ve noticed when using signet of shadows (25% movement speed increase) is the only time Flanking Strike doesn’t hit. You’re moving faster then the skill can account for. This is an error on ANets part. Minor tweeking to adjust for the increased movement speed can be done. At least from my pov that is. Those are my pennies.

IF something isn’t done soon a lot of their current clientele, won’t be.
