I believe that every legendary weapon deserve the same level of graphic effects, we all pay the same for the gift of might and gift of fortune so I believe that there is no reason to treat some legendary differently from other.

The Minstrel lack :

-Foot print
-Aura effects
-Sound animations

Those are the things that every minstrel owner fervently desire and personally I would “kill” for a change of dye on the minstrel , the avocado skin tone is not really a favourite, for instance a gold/redemption/illumination dye would simply be perfect.

You have very rare instances where condi builds can be useful for things like husks, or dark fields to lifesteal through the Jade Maw, etc..but that’s like less than 1% of PvE content. And in PvP even people who hate terrormancers and lich cheese builds can see what sustain issues we have. I also hope by using wells in WvW/EotM you don’t mean you’re using dire gear! Because that’s silly!

But I probably don’t know, I might’ve played necro badly for over 5k hours.

Necromancers have to constantly adapt their builds to be useful in all situations in some way; most won’t make the effort to do that, hence our bad reputation.

Also you can’t really adapt your build to be useful if you’re running dire.

I saw this and didn’t bother reading the rest. It’s a typical response I see all the time – ironically, those are the people that spend half the time dead in FOTM 30+ or TA/Arah/CoE.

Because not everyone is good enough to run zerker? Or some people aren’t using zerker builds therefore inflating the difficulty for them as the fights take longer than they should?

You cannot like it all you want, but you cannot argue with years of experience the dungeon forum community has and has shown in videos.

If what you do works for you then that’s great, but you can’t really claim necros are amazing when you don’t use the most optimal standards that dungeons are run by. You’ll never see a necro in a fastest path record at this point in time. Claiming other people lack knowledge when you’re the one dismissing what basically everyone who has mained the class and run dungeons every day is just not going to help the class get what it needs, or help our Necros are bad reputation.

What’s the difference? A fast run is supposed to be a fast run. Why do something in 15-20 mins when you can do it in 5-10?

Anet, people with legendaries, please read…

As you know, some people have countless legendaries and have been quite a collector. I.e. the 5/5 legendaries achievement + the title.

When Heart of Thorns is released, can I please put forward one reasonable and one unreasonable suggestion?

Reasonable:
Could we TWO chances to exchange our legendaries over to the new ones as following:
- You may exchange one of the two legendaries of your choice if you have the Twice-Told Legend track to a new one of the SAME weapon type.
- People with the 5/5 legendaries achievement can exchange any weapon they want for ONE new legendary (certain conditions may apply).

Unreasonable: Allow people with the current legendaries to skin swap as they can stat swap but add certain conditions to it:
- You can only do it once per week or once per month.
- You can choose to do skin swapping in exchange for stat swapping (one or the other).

Suggestion. Just as there are items that require tons of work in the game, in addition to the new wings item, create some super wings item that requires 500000 gems to purchase. For those of us who spend all their time grinding $$ in the real life And make its equivalent attainable in the game too, but maybe different color… At least then you won’t see every other person running with the new shiny item.

Whee I got mine! A problem: they vanish during animated emotes. No dancing, pointing, etc.

They don’t flap when running or idling, just bob back and forth as they maintain their position relative to the character’s back. I think they tuck slightly on a dodge roll but I’m not sure.

They’re still beautiful despite all that.

Hello, I doubt any ArenaNet employee will read this but it’s worth a shot.

I just recently made Meteorlogicus for my Necro and Guardian only to realise that the skill animation appears at the hands of my character rather than the end of my scepter making it look really silly when casting on an Asuran or Sylvari.

I was wondering, you fixed this issue on the HoM scepter (I believe) but why not the legendary scepter?

If you buy Eternity, you will only get eternity.

I agree with this. But this isn’t the only issue with shoulderpads on smaller characters.

For example, if you play an asuran or human that doesn’t have a large body-type then the shoulders actually seem to float off the side.

I understand Birthday Blaster was soulbound, that’s fine.
But making it so that I can’t get the gift on another character via mail? What’s the point?… I knew it was going to be soulbound so I wanted to move it to a different character but I couldn’t even do that.

I played elementalist when GW2 first came out because I thought they’d be nice and cool, but they are abysmal. So I mained a new character after several breaks and I am lumbered with this gift which I can’t even use.

There are 6 zoom levels if you use your mousewheel. If you don’t find that you have 6 zoom levels then your mouse is not working correctly or you’re not using your mouse to zoom.

Between the 2nd last and 3rd last it’s too far and too close. It’s a shame there’s nothing inbetween that.

When I make a norn character, my camera zooms in and hides her feet, but when I zoom out it’s too far out and it just looks odd.

Is there anyway I can move the camera to be just perfect? Or is it sat at specific scroll points?

The dual legendaries I really don’t care about, they are for convenience. But as someone with multiple ascended backpieces of the same, I made because my other toons didn’t have access to it and now they do, therefore, I have wasted those ectos and powerful bloods etc… to make the backpiece.

Overall, he wasted his mats creating multiple ascended pieces because his alts didn’t have them and people are throwing around the ego-booster card like it actually means something. Forgive me if min/maxers are hard done by.

TSW: Weapon progression and spell buildups
DCUO: Achievement progression to unlock more weapons
Aion: Leveling
Perfect World: Leveling

If an MMO doesn’t have some form of numerical progression, whether it be item refinery (Jade Dynasty), or character levels then it really isn’t filling up to that ‘MMO’ standard that we have today.

Leveling in guildwars is fairly easy:
- Crafting, now gives 12 levels instead of 10.
- Events
- Hearts
- Eye of the Mists is perfect for leveling, got my ranger from 20-26 in just 1 hour.

Go to Divinity’s Reach and ask in map chat where the waypoint is for the Black Lion armor vendor, once you’re there, you can claim back your purchased town armor items.

Firstly, just want to say a really big well-done on the update. I’m very happy that my ascended and multiple legendaries are now account bound, not only that, it allows me to switch easily to my other characters without costing me $ (Using the transmutation splitter method).

I also want to thank you on giving me both Sunrise and Twilight after making Eternity as usable skins, EXTREMELY happy about that as are a few of my guild members.

Lastly on this topic, I want to say thank you for fixing Frostfang for now giving both icey hands instead of just the main hand!

Secondly, the wardrobe and dye update/upgrade, what a brilliant way forward; I was being put off this game for some time and now that I see these updates allowing previews before dying it only makes me more inclined to play.

Thirdly, account-bound WXP. What can I say about this? Pretty self explanatory, well done again.

Fourthly, the town clothes, I was one of the many people that wasn’t too happy about this. The only thing I miss is that you can no longer dye your town armor. I believe that the freedom of town clothes allowed RP’ers to successfully RP without being in actual armor, that freedom has been easily removed and I hope that you revert it back to the way it was. I understand that several people weren’t happy with the current selection of endless tonics you can get but I don’t feel that this was a solution to that demand.

Overall, really good update, very impressed. I hope the writing for the LS-S2 is just as good when it starts up.

‘Unlock Skin’ will unlock that ONE specific skin.
‘Store in Vault’ will destroy ONE skin but unlock the whole set of that specific skin.

For example: my Flamekiss armor was in my bank and I clicked ‘Store in vault’ and it destroyed the boots but it gave me the whole set along with it. I think it only works for gem store purchases.

After making 11 legendaries, I stopped playing GW2 since there was nothing left to aim for. Being that legendaries will always be on-par with every new rarity they release.
