“The best defense is a strong offense.”

This reminds me of the original guild wars, that being, that all the “fancy/ good looking” weapon skins being either extremely rare drops requiring hours of grinding to get or would cost an average player an arm and a leg to buy from other players. The only difference being that A LOT of the exotic skins and even some of the rare skins are quite good looking in GW 2 imo, and tbh I don’t see myself going for a legendary any time soon… but as in the original I will probably eventually get one… someday.

I play far to much tf2…
big fat bald norn warrior with a riffle: heavy weapons guy
if only he could have a Russian accent…
I must say, this is probably one of the greatest and most amusing missions I’ve yet to come across, and I’d just like to say keep these type of missions that go way out of the box in terms of ingenuity and just pure amusement value.

yes please!
would love to be able to fiddle with my hair every now and again just to have something different.
“needed” hardly… combat isn’t supposed to be all nice neat and organized, and I personally find that chaotic combat makes it far more interesting, much more then that of, “okay guy’s Ima pull the big bad dragon boss over here into this corner so he can only breath on me yada yada blah blah blah…I’m already bored…”
That being said what really is needed is some sort of system to prevent just zerging a boss down because that’s just wrong.
So, I just went through this PS again, and wow how things have changed notably in my opinion for the worst. Now don’t get me wrong sometimes I like when things are easy, and basically handed to me on a silver platter, buuut really? You’ve watered this down so much that I could have done this in my sleep.
I first went through this mission about a week or so in and boy was it much harder, and for me personally I love when games challenge me making it difficult to progress unless you have the skills required to do so. Now I understand not everyone that plays this game is great at it, and that some classes fair worse then others when it comes to certain combat situations, but that shouldn’t mean make a once difficult, but doable mission into something that you could easily just bash you head against your keyboard to get through. TBH if you couldn’t do this mission in its earlier version (aside from the blatant bug of the risen knights continually respawning… btw where did they even go?)
you shouldn’t be allowed to progress until you actually figure out what the hell your doing, I mean if you haven’t figured out how to do anything other then spam the one button by level 70, then you really shouldn’t be playing.
Anyway what i’m saying is I LOVED the difficulty of the later stages of the personal story, and now i’m finding after going through it again that its all been massively watered down for all the facerollers that haven’t a clew how to play to be able to do it, and that makes me sad.

dear op, you sir, are silly.
that being said, the animations all around are perfect, and if you don’t like them the door is over there.
to miss quote a certain shark from a certain Disney movie, " Sylvari are friends, not food!"
meet Syelana- a bold and adventurous hunter, and Raeyll- a blind elementalist, well-versed in the power of flame.
My Sylvari ele, she may be blind, but she can still catch things on fire!
My Sylvari ranger, Syelana.
I fell Down into a hole near the cauliflower patch near the tower of modius, and can’t get out without using a waypoint!
edit: forgot a tidbit of useful info… this was in sparkfly fen.

So basically the title says it all. If you can’t kite the enemy you’re trying to kill (and there are a LOT that you can’t) you’re pretty much dead. Basically there is almost no way to avoid it neither having a tank spec nor using like all vitality/toughness armor… you’re still going to get absolutely murdered by anything that can get to you…

Armor: Light
Race: Sylvari
Gender: Female
Profession: Elementalist
Item in question: Acolyte Mask, Level 60-80 exotic area completion drop.
Description of problem: not exactly major, but its been bugging me, my mask is… well sits off my face about 1-2 inches.. and even past my nose. For a “blindfold” it isn’t exactly doing its job very well.. :P Anyway I know It can’t be made “skin tight” for every body type and such without a lot of work on the dev’s part buuut couldn’t there be like 3 different models for every race or something. Like a small medium and large? so that it and other armor like it could fit relatively well?
and here are some screenies of it:

So uhhmm yeah title is a pretty good summary, it seems there is a TON of stuff involved in cooking that I can’t store in my crafting materials and such storage. and I certainly don’t want get rid of everything that I make that I could potentially use in the future for higher level recipes. All the Ingredients involved that you make/buy that can’t be put into the cooking section, it seems there needs to be another tab or something that could/should be added solely for special cooking ingredients because my bank just can’t handle all of it.
inb4: buy more bank space!
already done, have 1 tab solely dedicated just for cooking ingredients that I have no real use for atm but am holding onto for when I get my cooking higher, and another about half full of food/usable items that I could potentially use for leveling and such.
I’d LOVE to be able to parachute off some of things that you can climb in this game.
Like the volcano in Mount Maelstrom, It would be awesome to be able to jump off into the crater. It could be like an equip-able back slot item that when after falling a certain distance opens slowing you down so you can land safely. so… there it is, any thoughts?
I agree, it does take quite a bit of coin to get around for a level 80 or any higher level for that matter. tbh if your doing things in a lower level zone which usually don’t reward as much as doing things in area in which is closer to your level, but still getting charged the same price for warping around both areas doesn’t really make much sense. Now one could argue that this is a way to get the player to stick to areas closer to their level so they can more easily afford to get around, but A-Net has specifically stated that they want higher level’s to be able to play in lower level zones without (much) drawback.
Medium armor wearers have tons of pants… also, whats wrong with skirts? o.O
No need to make such a big drama about every conceivable thing. Just report it then delete it and move on, that’s what the rest of us do.
I wouldn’t be making such a big deal of it if it wasn’t constant, I mean logging in to see that my mail box is flooded with gold seller spam almost every day is ridiculous.
It’s also disheartening to see that there are so many bots/gold sellers already, just one month into the game. tbh the in game economy is already bad enough atm without the botters messing it up even further.
So pretty much every day for last week I have logged into to seeing 4-5 even up to 10 mail’s from gold sellers trying to get my to buy gold. First of all I’d like to ask how they manage to send me mail when tbh I hardly talk in world chat and for two I am not even online when they send me them to me. This is getting highly frustrating as I HATE gold sellers, as it seems every mmo I’ve played recently is plagued with them and I don’t even understand why people would even buy gold from them in gw2 and potentially get hacked/banned for doing so rather then just buying gems from a-net and be assured you have a safe transaction… All in all i’d really like to see some way to prevent spam mails for the time being whilst they set up a way to get rid of all the botters /gold sellers (hopefully soon.)
~~ps : wasn’t sure whether to put this in suggestions or here… so I put it here.
It seems that you only get one of the effects from having 2 weapons (dual wielded) both with a sigil that gives a stacking buff such as one with bloodlust and one with corruption, you only get the power buff (bloodlust) and not the extra condition damage from the corruption sigil. I’m not entirely sure if this is the intended way they function or if they are supposed to both stack, which is they way I thought they worked.
