TC being #1 is no surprise. With the SoR merger, the number of guilds participating in wvw rose dramatically. I’m sure TC is plagued with pve guilds claiming structures and putting no buffs on. One of the downsides of having such a large pve population.

German servers rule because they are very guild-oriented. Elona Reach is an exception since the server is mainly militia but it’s also the highest populated German server so will likely have a lot of smaller guilds and pve guilds claiming things.

Seafarer’s being low is expected. The server has very little hardcore wvw guilds (and isn’t much of a pve server either) but has the largest militia population in EU (stark contrast to it’s past). Riverside is packed with hardcore wvw guilds but lacks the militia (could change in the future with the success its been having).

I’m surprised how high Drakkar Lake scored. Perhaps being the German-RP server might have something to do with it.

15 of the top 20 in the overall list are EU servers. Hmmmmmm

The bottom line is that Guild Wars 2 was supposed to get an influx of new content similar to that Guild Wars 1 received before GW2 started development. When you compare between what was added in the first twenty months of Guild Wars 1 – well, it’s hard to claim that they’re even comparable.

And the fact that anet has triple the number of employees now than they did back then makes the current situation even more pathetic.

Probably pretty long. You have to buy a chinese based copy in order to be on the chinese version of the game.

As such the chances of having a lot of people from other time zones will be very little.

It’s the same situation as the EU servers and coverage is a big thing in EU. There will always be a server that has more insomniacs and unemployed.

Seafarer’s is not a pve server. It’s a WvW server.

Why are people listing NA guilds…………………………….

I think he’s complaining because there are no pug commanders on his server and only guild groups running tagless. He doesn’t have the time available to commit to a hardcore wvw guild so there’s nothing for him to do to help his server or improve as a player.

This server doesn’t sound like one that cares about its community. Most other servers have pug commanders (in eu, some are even drivers from hardcore wvw guilds) that rally the people and help foster a healthy wvw community.

If this is the server I think it is then most of the guilds are just leechers taking advantage of the server’s blind luck at launch and would rather transfer off than tag up anyway.

Compared to Gandara their queues are nothing. They also have coverage (which is what the op wants) which most other international servers lack.

Desolation or Far Shiverpeaks. The others won’t fulfill your requirements.

If you don’t know how to avoid getting hit by a zerg when running in a small group, then you probably deserved it.

The mods really need to sticky the post made by Devon saying megaservers are never coming to wvw for the foreseeable future.

ESO doesn’t have arrow carts so why they would play ESO? Of course if you select right spec it’s like spamming arrow cart, but easier and more effective.

Maguuma will undoubtedly make themselves hated. SoS will pvdoor them. So to spite both of them, they will transfer to DB to try create another T1.5 server.

Attrition hits, DB fairweather syndrome rears its ugly head back in. BG and JQ reps start contacting their guilds.

Their NA goes to BG. Their SEA goes to further stack JQ. One maybe two goes to TC.

I haven’t seen a Dev get on here and tell us that getting 2v1’d using cross server communication is legitimate, fine, and a healthy expression of what they wish to convey with their WvWvW system.

It’s just smart strategy. You have an upgraded keep, both server’s want to paper it… why fight each other and not downgrade it when they can temporarily side with each other and then fight over it later when it’s paper?

You’d have to be stupid to think that megaservers for wvw wouldn’t create a horrible mess of clashing personalities, awful communication and population inequalities.

Most of the people on SFR don’t like a challenge. I think that’s why they focused Deso.

Please do something about Megaservers in EU. French servers should be grouped together. German servers should be grouped together. It’s a huge mess at the moment.

Keep megaservers out of cities. Servers need something that is just for them. What if a server wants to do a server wide event? Where can we do it now? How do we call for help in WvW now?

Please make it so that transmuted items are named after the skin that is used, rather than of the weapon/armor which supplied the stats. It doesn’t make sense that a weapon that looks like a Tormented Staff is called a Berserker’s Pearl Quarterstaff

Megaserver has only been rolled out for HotM so far.

They never said they were reducing crit damage by 10%.
They always said they were nerfing total damage (this is the damage that you physically do after the game does all the calculations taking into account your power, crit chance, crit damage, your target’s armor etc) by 10%.
