Just to add my feedback to the thread
I don’t experience disconnections but, since the last patch, the lag in high populated events is more frequent and visible.
I never had terrible lag and, anyway, the game IS NOT unplayable for me but still I find more problems than before.

Elementalist or, like Garambola said, Mesmer.
Elementalist have the ability to swap between elements’s skills, Mesmer is very versatile but also not very newbie friendly in PvP. Anyway you can try both directly in sPvP since you’re full stats when you go into the Mysts.
About the professions guides just google GW2builds or go to the official wiki for a brief panoramic.

The Wintersday Jp is quite easy. The halloween one was a great challenge but, since I always played and liked platform games, I really love this jumping game portions.

They’re trying to make you discover new things that you don’t even know were there. Try to actually find jpand COMPLETE them with your friends. Lot of Laughs assured.
You don’t like jps? well do it easy mode, just find the 3 in Lion’s Arch. Do not complain about everything everytime.

I really just hope to recive the medaillon and the 20 slot bag. I don’t care about objects I can loot when I want…

I deleted mine too. But I don’t need them back.
Honestly, without any costume bank or slot, it takes 3/4 spaces every town clothe you un-equip. I always have bank space problems and that were sacrificable objects for me.

Game is fine without mounts.
The lore and the gameplay aren’t designed to use mounts…

I don’t really know how much times I tryed before ^^ completing the first time.

Same problem here. [<>] is seen as [ \ ] by the game options (IT keyboard model here). I was using <> for one skill and I use \ as its default.

Doing TBoFT solo worked for us.
But when we tryed it in group bloked at the 3rd point “Defend the north gate” or similar.

I think some shiny ads, for peopole who don’t follow forums and games sites, would be good for Guild Wars 2.

Bloodtide Coast area in Fissure of Woe server is invaded by bots. There are partyes of rangers swarmin any mob in the area.
I’m doing what I can reporting them; but, sometimes, I really would like to have a BAN button to use.

Good idea to add them to the block list…

Never had money problems. I’m not a farmer that get 50 gold but my little bank is at a good 5 gold level by now.
I try to not use waypoints, so I travel a lot and I do the events during the path. The repair costs aren’t expencive and, clearly, you aren’t supposed to die a lot or you can find the way to die less times.
About WvsWvsW, you should play with a group and don’t take the costs alone.

I don’t feel the mounts necessary and fitting with the game design.
We haven’t them in the GW lore (except dolyaks and Necro horsmen).
Waypoint costs are largely compensated by the loot and the event rewards.

My idea is:
Everyone can speak the language he wants if he don’t care to be understood by others (not all people can use their spare time to learn a language and the internet is not made only by geeky, instructed, young people).
Everyone can speak the preferred language BUT that don’t means he can use the chat without rules like staying in his living room.

I also think that learning, speaking other languages opens you lot of doors in every part of your life.

I’m not discouraged at all by botters.
I just do my duty, report them and signal them in the /map chat.
Guilty and stolen accounts used for botting must be identyfied with the collaboration of the fair playerbase.

I’m for increase the general PvE and WvsWvsW party size.
Dungeon party size is ok, but, for the general exploring with friends and guildies I found myself always forced to tell someone the party was full.
Don’t know if there are technical concerns about increasing the party size from 5 to 8, but It’ll be very apreciated by lot of people.

Maybe there could be problems with the possibility to join other party members storyquests. Increase party will create new unbalance problems.
So, yes, it isn’t a very fast thing to change…

The best way is to be tolerant and don’t feed trolls.
The language topic is becoming tedious; if you find a server where there is a big national group, you have to expect to find that nation language too in the chat. Because not all people knows english and not all people knows the “netiquette”. Games are played mostly by young people that doesn’t care about “rules”.
I’m Italian, I usually talk english in general chat but part of our community is deeply divided between two extremes: those who knows english and pretend that all players talks it and those who wont do that for a silly nationalism.
I’m in the middle because no one can’t forbid another person to talk his own language, expecially if it’s the only one he know; but a good manner (NOT A RULE) is to talk in a language understandable by the majority.
Trolls damage all communityes, so don’t feed them and don’t begin flames about those stupid argouments. I’m totally ok to see other language (other than English and Italian) in chat, especially in an EU server, but I hate the Spam and the CAPS strings in all languages.
Another thing, if a person talks in his language, probably doesn’t care to be understood by the others who don’t talk it.

I’m trying to get the survivor title too. But it stop to count the XP; no matter if I’m in the same area or I never log out or use waypoint. I managed to get the 2nd tier and, after that, no progresses.

Cutscene don’t start also with the scabbard. We used the ShadowX solution to make the scabbard not desappear, it worked but the cutscene don’t start.

Same here. I can’t say when and why the title stop to count the xp. Toke a dungeon XP and the xp was counted, crafted a bit and some K of XP were registered too, but before gaining the 2nd title tier it bloked again to count. I haven’t zoned or logged out while crafting.
2nd time I experience this bug in the september survivor achievement.

You have all traits and all the high level weapon as advantage. This is enough to solo huge group of enemies.
I really feel the down-scaling ok. And I like to travel with low lvl friends.

I signal that I’m blocked too with the monthly and lifetime survivor.
Counter stopped at 42.032 at the 2nd tier. And gaining exp without being defeated or crafting don’t count.
I’m in EU FoW Server.

I’ve had the issue while playing outside Ebonhawke.
Two of three party members tryed to join me in “Don’t Shoot the Messenger” Charr quest without succes.
Server: EU FoW.
In Addition I had difficult to see exactly where party members where in the map, seeing their pointers blocked or in wrong places in the map.

The game isn’t designed to use mounts. Mounts have never been in the GW Lore, so, I don’t see the point or want mounts in game.
Like I said in another place: I would accept Dolyaks as mounts…but I doubt you’ll be faster with them
