Of all things I see no reason for any Mini to be account bound. They’re meant to be collected and traded. :/ With the exception of HoM mini~ which actually makes sense though.

That pic looks like your average Mesmer rather than anything Thief related.
But yes, the lack of weapon variety is pretty daunting.
I too have a soft spot for Spears/Nagitatas etc. but I’m not sure how much of a Martial Artist a Thief really is. He’s more of a Rogue archetype than a Monk/Assassin/Ninja Archetype.
Thief is still Assassin, as it replaces it and still uses all it’s main skills. It even uses the famous Ninja from Mortal Kombat’s skill. .-.
Some of the actual weapons “Ninja” used and everything that influenced that style were Naginatas, Spears, Scythes, Sickles, Blow Darts, War Fans, Katanas, Staffs, Claws, Polearms and a lot more. Thief would need a hell of a lot more weapons.
We have no Hand-to-Hand (wish we did) and Ninjas all start with martial arts as well before weapons. GW1 Assassins used Scythes before they got nerfed and Longbows and pretty much were designed as Ninjas. Assassins in general also have a huge variety of weapons. Pretty much every weapon imaginable would be a viable option. If it kills, you use it.
Thief steal and improvise by grabbing anything and using it as a weapon, and yet our actual weapon arsenal is the smallest of all classes. Ironic, really.
Maybe their just missing their “Way of the Master” when they stepped in to replace Assassin: The skill that made Assassins deadly with any weapon. Should be placed more into the lore of the game and into Thieves.

I enjoy the Slingshot more than I would of the Unicorn Bow. Haven’t tried the wand yet. Don’t have any classes that use them~ my necro but he’s a special conditionless axe necro.

lol. I just dagger stormed them and when it ended I was half HP so I used my heal, but the 12 stacks of confusion just exploded and I was downed. I could get back up but yeah they’re pretty crazy. :s

Finally got it. You don’t need to kill them, just down them. Easiest way I found was with scout. Get close enough with stealth and use the 3 skill (rapid firing one) at point blank range. Does a lot of damage. :o Sniper shot just wasn’t cuttng it for me. Need to Rambo them in the face.

Wire has always been buggy. They increased the range to, I assume, make it fail less but it still didn’t help it. As you said it will just knock them over and not pull, or say obstructed. “Out of range” when clearly not issue was what they probably tried to fix with the 1200 but it still does it, not as much though. Wonder if it’s mechanics are related to same reason why pistol range makes no sense as well. :P

It’s too baggy for my taste. My little Sylvari looks suffocated in it. I was hoping for a toy with a lot of ice magic as well but the scepter wasn’t interesting enough to make buying the costume worth it. I already have Mad King scepter as well (just for the toy), and the skill mechanics were so similar.
