I honestly believe this is where my MMR is supposed to be.
I want them as universal skinz, especially my sylvari tier 0 racial town clothz.
I don’t think you guys understand why these cost the price they do. If some one buys one of these slots they will NEVER buy multiples of the copper-fed or the infinite gathering. they have to make the money back for the lost sales from those items that’s why the price is what it its.
Buying multiples of those shouldn’t be a need anyways. Should just be an account unlock. Most rational people aren’t going to buy multiples anyways.
The mother Dolyaks deserve it for not peacefully accepting their role as baby manufacturer for their Norn overlords. Don’t worry though, they taste delicious. Their bodies are collected and turned into healthy steaks with no artificial flavors or preservatives.
Really Anet? 700 gems per slot? Would pay 700 for 5 shared slots easily but this? nty not worth it.

One thing I would seriously like is for drops to actually mean something. You know that you aren’t hardly EVER going to get something useful from, say a world boss or dungeon. There is exactly zero sense of excitement when I open a chest. I know it will be just crap. How about a 1 chance to find a AMAZING MONEY BAG that has 25 gold in it! That would be awesome. 1 may be to high, but you know what I mean.
Bring the sense of anticipation back to opening a chest. Maybe you could get like omni infusions or just SOMETHING that would advance your character and be immediately useful.
IDK there are probably reasons that won’t work.
That’s why the Treasure Mushrooms make me want to throw cats into a wood chipper. 3-4 kills every day for months and still no drop~ not even towards other people. Such an exciting new crappy item. I’m sure they’re overjoyed to create more stupidly impossible drop chance items that are time gated on top of it in future or more turbogrindfarm items like the event shoulders. Still never get ascended armor boxes either, which cost over 1k gold now to craft. Games getting too grindy.

Anet~ Don’t forget that our Range AA is horrible as well with weak dmg (especially condi) and no distance. We also can’t really burst DPS with Shortbow because Cluster Bomb defies gravity and moves super slow so we can’t use up all our ini at max range. Why is Cluster Bomb better at close range via detonating bombs directly in your own face? Was that really intended?
P/P relies entirely on using 100% of the ini bar at all times on Unload because Vital Shot is still weak.
Also, can you make Death Blossom ground target? :P

I feel like the first one is barely finished so it’d be nice if the next one is actually priced appropriately to it’s amount of content instead of pretending it’s worth the the price of an entirely new full game, cuz it wasn’t and I’m still hoping the rest will show itself. Hearing that there’s another one on the way makes it feel like I may not get the rest of the current one I already paid for. The things I really want would need addressed in patches and hotfixes than another xpan.
I want Theif to be useful, and all the UP weapons to actually be viable in pvp+pve and the pvp mess overall cleaned up. I’m still waiting for the new LS which can go ahead and bring us the rest of the 50 dollar zone pack, armor within the game that fits my character properly and is actually new instead of the same old coat/buttcape design over and over and the rest of the Legendary weapons ofc. I’m also still disappointed there’s no dungeons. Raids aren’t a particular interest of mine. Too much time wasted organizing and doing them and too many people required to cooperate perfectly. I also hope nothing like the treasure mushroom happens again cuz that daily makes me want to shoot myself with my kitten pistols.
Things that would be nice to see would be this xpan to continue to build on gliding/flight and another xpan with it’s own unique additions to revive the underwater aspect of the game. Boats, fishing, water themed equipment, redesigned underwater combat, new Quaggan species and the water dragon.
Regardless of the direction I still want Thief with Land Spears or Black Flame Torch with Shadow Form.

Healing minions already destroyed the map potential. No reason to do stronghold anymore unless you make a healspam bunker premade cuz it’s all you’ll face most of the time and it’s near impossible to win against even with treb. Very disappointing cuz I really liked the map and I have no friends who pvp. :P
You’re probably bad at them because you keep avoiding them. Try actually doing them instead and they’ll become easier. The ones in fractals are like basic Lv.1 difficulty.
Best Legendary in the game is still Kamohoali’i Kotaki imo.
Wish my Thief could use it on land.

I won a match yesterday in Ruby with a Thief and Warrior on my team, and another with the same pug Warrior the next game (which another teammate saw and immediately assumed the game was over) so don’t give up just cuz they’re on your team.
I’ve played it quite a lot in EU server. Fun combat in BnS but everything else is same old Korean copypasta. NA beta is much improved though cuz localization is awesome and reduces bull**** that Americans hate like overly excessive grind and RNG but the game overall didn’t really offer anything amazing and is just another reskinned KR MMO. It’s gonna suck having to go through the same boring quests, pointless story and dull leveling process again when it comes out but the combat is decent enough entertainment. It’s sure not going to be killing any games though or evolving the awful MMO genre.
I’ve run into lotta teams who believed strongly in that and they lost because both homes were capped forever.
Needs removed imo. I got annoyed by it so much on my condi Thief who permanently did 0 damage that I rolled Ele myself through most of my games to enjoy the easy-mode.
Lotta times if I wanted to I could just stay in water attune with minimal movement and just ignore a player who’s trying to 1v1 me on a point I own and never get budged or damaged while I’m just AA splashing him with staff. Sad thing is they can actually die from it eventually.
It attempts one shadow step for the full distance, from A to B. A fix to make it more reliable would be to create a walking path then attempt to cover it in multiple smaller shadow steps which collectively cover the full distance. But of course, it’s not been touched.
It has been touched a few times actually through nerfs and used to function better. It was such a random nerf too cuz I didn’t think anyone used it and I never heard it complained about. Then the shadowstep nerf as a whole made it even worse.
I always assumed I killed an Anet dev once with it when I was screwing around in WvW with skills I don’t normally use and he nerfed it in a short moment of anger or something.

Cuz no one likes Thief. If it was as reliable as Portal then everyone would hate us even more. We’re not allowed to have nice things because we’re horrible criminals.
Dueling in cities could cause civilian casualties. Just do it in Guild Halls; it’s fun.
And no one likes Peeping Toms. :o
Does it really matter though? Anet will just auto hide any mini that isn’t a Toxic Hybrid or Super Banana within 30s of zoning or logging in!
The perma auto-hide bug makes me so sad. ;-;

While I agree with the thoughts about junk sigils/runes, I cant help but laugh at how much hatred they’re garnering by suddenly occupying space in people’s inventories.
It’s like having a room full of boxes and picking one up to clear out the room and finding a dead cat under it. Now you have something worse to deal with that’s occupying that space.
My Thief is covered in bruises and his bones are becoming deformed from countless breaks and sprains from 1hit aoe kills, unavoidable stumbles and smacking into indestructible skin/armor/shields/etc.
Many of my weapons such as sword and pistols are unusable and feel lonely. Death Blossom needs ground targeting like Vault so I can easier “watch the ledges” and have more control over my character, lack of Range Condi (and 1200 range) because Pistols only have it on AA and stealth and Shortbow has none on AA and Clusterbomb is too slow to use up ini pool. We have no Burn Condi and Condi Spvp Amulets make Thief too squishy to Hybrid making Diamond Skin unstoppable.
Vanilla Thief’s access to Swiftness and condi removal is extremely bad, Scorpion Wire doesn’t work, Impairing Dagger’s combo finisher doesn’t actually exist, Withdraw is an extremely weak heal, Venoms need to be more diverse and usable for more than just venom share builds and given new functions, such as combo fields, condi removal, stun breaks. Running a full venom builds isn’t possible without the same diversity glyphs, traps, meditations and etc get. Bandit’s Defense is a self-stun and can also miss moving targets easily. The culprit is minor/major sigils and runes.
I would kill for a salvage-o-matic with 0% chance to recover upgrades, because sigils/runes are utterly worthless garbage.
The mystic forge recipe is a joke, on the tiny chance you get upgraded to a sup, it will be one of the 99% that are useless and worth 2s
I often get a useless dungeon sigil/rune that can’t even be TP’d or Vendored. It’d be decent if I could just be spared the effort and salvage the sigil/runes into junk dust that can be stacked and npc’d. Adds more click wars but saves me the time it takes to feel hatred for them and dispose one by one through TP, hunting them through my bags at vendor to sell, and dragging them out of my bag to throw on ground to stomp and spit on.

Still amazes me how long it’s been without this QoL issue being dealt with. After 3 years they finally began doing something for the first time ever only recently. I was so happy to see it but seeing it only slapped on a few items was disappointing. I really hope it spreads to bags, chest, crafting materials, etc~ everything we’re expected to spam click thousands of times a day.

I love how slick shoes nearly always guarantees immediate death.
Everyone has more damage now and can do it through AOE spam and CC as well to make sure it hits you. We have no invuln and block spam and there’s lotsa juicy skills you can’t evade through to stop us from moving as well.

Yeah I used to be able to join in between songs but it doesn’t let me anymore. Waiting around till the entire game finishes simply isn’t fun.
They wanted to give us a lot of freedom. With advanced gliding and enough effort you can go anywhere in the zone. ;o If they add more over time then awesome. XD Orrr we can add it ourselves.
Is it as bad_ as SWTOR? Cuz that game bullies the hell out of you by constantly begging and nitpicking at you for money at every opportunity. :s
Chat restrictions are pretty sucky but w/o them there’d be a flood of goldsellers and at least you only have to pay once instead of having some annoying sub system like some “f2p” have.
They added glory point gain to hitting it but not everyone does it still. So the full wait timer remains as it has forever.

I saw one when I joined an Unranked match to test a build. Wasn’t really able to test it very well though cuz everyone kept instadying scattered everywhere :o
Warriors still have their use. They are the only class that can actually die 1v1 VS Thief in Spvp. The only thing left to give Thieves confidence in battle.
Warriors aren’t useless. When i kill one i get 5 points just fine, often easier then with other professions. That’s certainly useful.
I think ANET should force them to wear cloth to reinforce this.
No, if they gave them Light Armor they’d become unstoppable tanks like the other Light Armor classes.
Why can’t I dye everything? I can throw dye and paint over everything IRL. So unrealistic. I can also use scissors on buttcapes and coats too. So little customization! throws a chair
Mesmer, DH and Druid AoE CC spam makes me sad.
IMO they need to rework/delete all auto anti-cc/condi traits and let people actually play their class defenses manually
