maybe the day you will actually TRY ranged combat =/= leeching.
even with mesmer GS you are totally wrong….
Forget for once efficiency….and try a shatter build.
You are a liar if you tell me its not fun.
Two sentences in one post that just show how pointless a discussion with you would be.
I love elementalists in my team. One person able to take care of almost all buffs you need while delivering good dps and support (swirling) and bringing fgs is just nuts.

Yeah, just keep him on the wall and he won’t use it.
It’s distance based and has nothing to do with the wall itself.
Verifying the bug is part one, they can probably reproduce it at will which is step two.
From there, you need to figure out what code broke, which isn’t always simple when you’re dealing something happening over a network—maybe it’s the actual dodge code on the server, maybe it’s the client code that’s supposed to send the dodge signal, maybe it’s the client prediction not working correctly and the server is overriding the client’s simulation once the dodge has started (e.g. the server says you’re already in CC but the client doesn’t know that yet due to network latency, so it starts the roll).
Once they have a smoking gun for the bug, they need figure out which approach to fix it will (1) really solve the problem end users see, (2) minimize the chance of other stuff breaking, and (3) not make the code a mess to modify later.
Once you have a plan to fix it, you still need to do the actual update and testing, which takes time.
I’m not sure what stage they are in, but it can be difficult to forecast a solution time before you’ve decided what approach to take, and as I said above even pinpointing the problem can be a headache when you’re looking at client/server with simulation on both sides.
Whenever i update a program, i first of save the old (working) version of it. Since there have not been fumble dodges after WA before 15th oct update it should be quite easy to analyze and find what causes it (at least the one after WA). Also, i’m getting fumble dodges with or without lag about as frequent.
Also, this has been out for so long and has already been known, there is just no excuse for fumbles still happening. Easy solve: make dodges priority #1, evade attacks priority #2 and other skills as right now.
So someone from the QA team comes, but just say they know of it, but what are they going to do about it?
Yeah, thats what i worry about…
Crusher is a kitten nice fight. Meleeing is easier than ranging.
If you interrupt it late enough his enrage will go on 48s cooldown.
It is surely related to whirl skills, those get me fumbles really often, fumbles after doing nothing are just ocassional.
Anyway, tried playing warrior for a bit for the first time after 15th patch and i was shocked. Much worse than on mesmer, guardian or elementalist. Out of 10 dodges at least 7 fumbles/delayed dodges. Also, WA randomly activating because it apparently queued up…
However, these fumbles exist since launch, were fixed (from autoattack) and i had no issues for about 8 month. Out of nothing i was getting them once in a while and the lastest patches made it ridiculous.
Unfortunatley we’re not just math heroes but actualy dungeon speedclearers.
Also hodgins and tzark bug around quite some times since some patches ago. Instead of actually fixing anything they broke working things.
The probably most annoying and definitely most important bug there currently is, yet no dev response?
10/30/30/0/0 does about 20% less damage than 10/25/0/10/25 assuming 5 boons to be permanently up on average (mostlikely more in a group setting). With a proper rotation its even going to be 25%. That doesn’t factor in any damage from consecrations and virtues too.
Would like everone with a recent solo to post the full link (youtube.com) together with the exact time here.
1) Step into Arah.
2) Kill Belka and abomination.
3) Get Lupicus to phase 3, while transition move into 300 range. Stand still now.
4) Get domed.
5) If he didn’t dome you wait for some attack, dodge and stand still in 300 range.
6) 4).
Hi, i’m trying to learn as a warrior. Do you recommened a sword or shield for offhand? Do I need energy sigils on both sets? I have Balanced Stance, Endure Pain and Stamina signet.
Sword offhand helps much more once you got used to it. It’s block isn’t instantly activating and a double tap ends it but it’s on a really short cooldown.
One Energy sigil is definitely enough on warrior since you have fast hands, making the second one on gs completely useless. Myself i’m using Undead Slaying on GS and axe, Energy on Sword.
For phase 1: offensive utility helps there way more in my opinion. Without fury and 3 might less (fgj) locusts tend to overrun you if you don’t 100b timed well. Banner of Disc, FGJ and one defensive Utility (Dolyak usually) is what i see as easiest. I kicked Endure Pain after my first successful attempt because i never used it there. Signet of Stamina may help, though. If you like having the extra endurance you should probably run fgj, dolyak, stamina.
Full berserker is way stronger. 10% on average if not buffed. You would have to be really, really unlucky to make assassin armor “better” (and even then only with more luck).
Also: Undead Slaying and Potion.
Feedback reflects all the projectiles she throws around. Usually being reflected for ~4k damage.
I got her to 55% with timewarp once, was missing food though and didn’t have feedback.
Just autoattacks + blurred frenzy on cooldown.
Soloing is, duo’ing might make him moves into a bad distance to you and bubble you for apparently “no reason”.
I did a 10 min guardian solo, permanently moving, getting zero bubbles. Aswell as i’ve been standing still and getting bubbles. It’s absolutely only based on distance, including distance coming from z-axis, though!
Brazil saw me do my #1 rabid solo! Though I think he was afk until I killed him
I have yet to see any solo of you
@Dub; you’re free to make and maintain your own leaderboard with your own rules, if you want. These are the rules that I have decided are the easiest for players to follow, and the easiest for us to moderate. Pretty much the only dungeon that is effected by this rule is Arah P1; and I’m not going to tailor the rules to one dungeon path.
Probably misunderstood that there was some discussion ongoing instead of one setting rules, as kittened as they may be. I’m not saying your rules are kittened, just that there could be better ones that would at least make sense. From dungeon entry to chest applies to all dungeons and displays the actual dungeon time way better.
Until enboss dies is pretty stupid in my opinion because in some dungeons you don’t get the reward when the endboss died, the path isn’t completed yet. I’d much rather have the rule wethospu listed (everyone loaded into the dungeon until reward chest appears. That one at least justifies changes by making it more overall appealing to non-sc’ers. If we don’t use that, i’d rather like from first event (door opening in Arah/AC) till reward, excluding as much stupid npc rng as possible and giving bad pc users a better chance. If someone gets stuck in a cutscene for 10s until he can skip it is just stupid.
1… 100gold/hr! Wow o.O
40g/hour here, with much better explanations and a guarantee that you get phase 1 done in a day.
There was, noone wants to be bored with a 20 min lupicus solo, though.
Dub you should make it clear that no energy sigils on guardian is only for very solid 5 man teams or record push solos.
There’s just no space for wasting dodges.
@Broadicea: I was just pointing out that the energy sigil on your GS was basically inactice the whole fight.
I’m talking about phase 2/3’s lupine blast (single projectile that usually misses in melee range).
Well, i would let you guess some more but since flood control sucks and i’m tired:
He has three different single bolt attacks. One is with his right hand, “swinging” from behind, throwing the projectile. Second one is left hand, holding it over you head and then getting some kind of pushback on it when he releases the bolt. And the “swing” from behind with the left hand.
Could also ask how often shadowstep hits, what the attack is called, or which hand first indicates the p3 frenzied blast. Very little players know the answer, because it isn’t really important.
Guardian has vigor, i do lupicus without any energy sigils. They help quite a lot if you wasted a dodge, though.
Well, you won’t like the answer. Solo is the answer, you’ll get it down phase by phase and only enter the next one when you’re ready.
Or just dodge, like shown in the video? Didn’t even use an energy sigil and had a second delay.
The first field is the one chosen for finishers so it doesn’t matter if they overlap your fields.
TA UP is the new path right?
TA Up is the original u/u path.
There has never been a TA u/u path, just TA up, TA f/u and TA f/f.
I’ll be uploading a video of an AC duo run tomorrow. If your trouble comes mainly from spider queen, i’ll try to get some decent solo (40 seconds) on tape if i find time for it. Will be working on a p3 solo/duo tomorrow, though.
I will never have a padawan cause I am in EU, people dont want help here
Can i be your arah padawan?
Never try using bladetrail + WA. Your WA will bug into skill queue and randomly activate after ~4 seconds.
Not to mention the amount of server failures on my last hour of lupicus. Out of 30 deaths, three were caused by aoe’s through wall, whole rest server crashes/lags.
Oh god, i forgot to upload my 5 drake solo without taking damage. Anyway, Weth got this
Well, highest team dps possible would likely include a ranger and at most one warrior. In praxis, such a team would be a really stupid choice if you want to efficiently run dungeons.
And if you get hit by a lupine blast staffs dps drops to about 3k.
Achieving maximum self dps isn’t the thought behind taking an ele. Achieving maximum self dps while buffing the party as eficcient as possible is.
Thinking of that, a 30/0/0/0/0 S/F+LH ele is far superior to any staff one.
