The updrafts you use to get to the Jawatl Grounds Mastery Insight won’t work. The first updrafts works sometimes, but usually not, the 2nd updraft never works for me, I don’t even know about the 3rd as I can never get to it.
The Bashing Bauxite Alchemicals meta event in Malchor’s Leap is bugged, and has been for a while. It is continuously stuck at 80% full bar and 0/5 on the “Keep the Power Conduits Active until Power is fully restored”. I cant finish the first predator collection because of this.

I have my main, an engi, which I love, and slowly going for full ascended. Then I have a few alts. I don’t play on my alts much at all, I always end up playing on my alts for a very small amount of time, and then going back the my main. Always. I’ve gotten to the point that I may just delete my other chars, and just invest heavily into just my main.

When I did it, the destroyer crabs were non-hostile( they were green), then when I lost the mursaat disguise, then they attacked me.

Oh man, This is great, thank you. I am probably going to go with Power Engi, with Force and Bloodlust. I do have one question, I will keep bombs, but should I use nades with egun, nades with rifle turret, or rifle turret with egun? I read somewhere that the best utilities to use with this build was bombs/nades/rifle turret, but i’m thinking I will like to use egun, especially with that extra small heal from the toolbelt skill, with that sd trigger, and that extra blast with egun 4, which also does a pretty hefty amount of damage.
If I have any more questions, I will ask, thank you.

Okay I have been working toward viper’s gear for my engi so I can use it in fractals. Now that the toughness levels have been lowered, I want to go back to power engi… should I use the Bomb SD build, or should I use the meta scrapper build? And can you also please link both builds? Thank You.

OMG…I never thought of this, it makes perfect sense.

I think the NPC’s are working how they are supposed to. If they dealt more damage then they do now, people could basically afk the instances and just move their char when they needed to, if they were that patient, as it would take time. The NPC’s are mainly there to provide certain dialogues, lore, etc. They are not meant to really help in the fighting very much, it’s not like gw1 where you could chose your heroes, and they could do all the fighting for you. Most of the story play is meant to be soloable, and for the most part, they are.

The game play and challenges are over all good. The area provides a good challenge. The one issue I have is, I returned today to do the rest of the map and all my hearts I did yesterday have rest. Is this suppose to happen? Needless to say I now have to redo the hearts again. Great job keeping the over all theme that is in Guild Wars Ring of Fire.

The hearts in Ember Bay are a daily redoable.

The Dragon was definitely very cute… and I found the connection that the commander and the dragon have was a nice touch.

I found Ember Bay to be quite fun. The mobs are very engaging, but you don’t feel like you can get overwhelmed easily. The new mastery is AWESOME, I just love the feel of it.

Episode 2 was very interesting… OMG… Very Nicely done with the first and last instance. The Veteran Destroyer of Hope was a nice touch, and very nostalgic(I think I spelled that right) to us gw1 players. It was nice and challenging, the whole instance was very well done, I just don’t how to describe how excited/pleased I was with the last instance.

I haven’t completed Ember Bay, and I still have to do episode 2 on my other 2 characters, but I only have 1 complaint, just 1. On the part of the story, “Old Foes, Old Ghosts” I think it was, where we have to find all the Mursaat armor pieces…that was a huge pain. The boots were fairly easy to get, the gloves were a bit of a challenge, but the helm was my biggest problem, every single time I went to get it, there were 3+ jade armors, and 2+ jade bows crowded around it, it might have been because someone else had pulled them to it, and they got stuck, or it was a bug, I don’t know, but it made extremely challenging to get to the helm, I had to get help to get to it because of all the knockbacks the armors have…and when they use them at the same time you pretty much get killed instantly from the damage they do and getting knocked into the lava.

But other then that, everything else was great, and I still have plenty to explore on the Ember Bay.

Engineers can still be used for raids. If u already have a condi Reaper in the squad, then look for a condi engi. Condi Engi’s are only below condi Reapers because of Epidemic.

Did you watch the Ember Bay video or the Ember Bay: Behind the Scenes video?

I thought it was possible that I saw a hydra in the video “Ember Bay: Behind the Scenes”.
I could be wrong, but that looked almost like a hydra to me. At 2:38 in the video, and as part of it walked it by one of the devs said “It was fun to bring some creatures that haven’t seen a lot of play in a while.”
If I’m wrong plz tell so, but to me it looked like it COULD be a hydra.

Reaper Shroud skill #2 can get you to your target, as well as Death Shroud skill #2(if using core necro).

What is the cheapest medium ascended armor I can craft?
I will craft it and then change the stats to what I need.
I can’t craft it yet, as I have a ways to go to get the gold I need, but if I craft them one at a time, i’ll get there eventually.
I’m guessing around 100g per piece of armor?

Yeah, I don’t have time to do any raids, so i’ll stick to Corruption and Geomancy, but I will definitely keep this in mind as I definitely want to do raids in the future.

Toxic Focusing Crystal doesn’t really cost all that much, the price just adds up the more you buy.

I had this happen with my bloodstone rubies. I had atleast 260 saved up(last time I checked bfor next day), and when I got on the next day I realized (too late) that I had accidently sold them to a vendor, and I couldn’t get them back, as I had already spent most of my unbound magic on other things, all I really had to do was farm that up, and I would of had enough to get the asc trinkets, now I have to farm up the unbound magic AND all my rubies again.

Sweet, this is great… I just wish that there were earrings in bloodstone fen.

OK, for the sigils that you use, any particular reason you use Earth? I’ve been using Geomancy and Corruption.

I have full viper’s exotic gear right now. I hope to go ascended eventually. As I never have time to do raids, I have to get the ascended trinkets from bloodstone fen. I can get 2 rings, an amulet, and a backpiece with the bloodstone rubies/unbound magic. But I can get the ascended earrings with viper’s stats anywhere except for raids.
So my question is: Should I use the Sinister earrings from lws2 achievements, or just use exotic viper’s earrings? Which is better?

Or you could just do what I did. I jumped into the lava before we went into the cage, and my fellow party members finished it.

Well, the newer asc trinkets are a little trickier to get to then just by using laurels, bandit crests, etc. Although I do think the newer stats should have atleast one more way to get them, f.e. viper’s stats u can only get from Bloodstone Fen, and Raids. Some people don’t have the time to do raids, or to farm up the unbound magic/ blood stone rubies.

I will be attempting to craft HOPE soon. It will take way more gold then I have now, and take way longer then then what time I have, without anyones help. If anyone could help me out with these mats below, you would helping me way more then you think.

Is the only way to get Ascended Viper’s Trinkets from Raids, and Bloodstone Fen?

Bloodstone Fen is fun, it just takes a while for me to get the right amount of blood rubies.
I never have time to do raids, and the few times that I have had time to do raids, I was kicked out of the group because I wasn’t experienced.

Ok so i was able to craft my full viper’s ascended on the 3rd day of HoT expansion before prices for crafting have exploded. And to this day i have not changed any rune or sigil for that build.

I use Full Viper’s Ascended everything that i can get viper stats, that means full armor, offhand and mainhand weapons, backpiece, and amulet…..that leaves my 2 earrings and 2 rings as Sinister stats.

I personally have used Malice(10% condi duration) on 1 pistol, and Bursting on the 2nd, Yes i’ve read multiple posts saying geomancy is better, and bursting is worthless, but personally as kittenome people put bursting to be, it works well for me as i don’t need to be 100% sticking melee range to make the sigil work. I can melee when i want, stay in range if needed without thinking about my sigil proc, which means i can focus more on the game while at the same time having a sigil that still does a dps increase.

If you use your vipers gear in open world pve, or wvw you would see why i use bursting sigil over geomancy(i use torment on my shield – mostly for wvw), but if all you do is fractals and raids where you maximize dps at melee range then geomancy is for you(way way cheaper). Overall i am happy with my bursting sigil, it was costly but i would never change it for geomancy, but thats just me.

With that many viper’s gear my bleeding and burning duration is 71.19%
With Koi Cake(20% condi dur.) + Toxic Focusing Crystal(10% condi dur.) = 100% burning and bleeding duration

I am slowly crafting viper’s gear for my engi, but not sure what two sigil I should use on my pistols. For the Rune, I was gonna use Rune of the Berserker. Plz help for the sigils. I’ve heard Sigil of Earth is good, but for the other one should I go for Corruption, Bursting, or Geomancy? Or something else?

I don’t think it was ever bugged at all. I think this was how it was meant to work, because if theres supposed to be more content after this current event is finished, whether it be LS3 Epi 2 or something else entirely, why would they give it to us in just 5 days? They need time to finish whatever they were working on, if there is to be new content after this.

I don’t like to ask others for things, but I have trouble getting the things I want as I don’t play a whole lot. There is actually only three things that I would love to have right now, and would appreciate it greatly if someone could give me these things. They are the Glide-r-Tron, the Copper- Fed Salvage-O-Matic, and the Magitech armor. I don’t expect to get these, but I didn’t think it would hurt to ask.

My guess is that she moves weekly. I really hope she does, because if she moves at certain times during the day, that would suck.

I love the map. The gliding skills provide a new way to play. The new foes are a just a bit more of a challenge, which I love. It also has TWO meta events, although the Jade one is my favorite. The new currency, Unbound Magic, is cool, you get it in small amounts, but its not hard to get. The bloodstone rocks(forgot what they’re called), are a nice change from the usual mining nodes. I personally can not find any cons to this map, only pros, but that’s just me.

The Engineer is my number one favorite. I have made others, but I always go back to my Engineer. The Revenant is my second favorite. With the Necromancer/elementalist tied in third place.

I never saw them until I did the Ley-line anomaly events, but now I can… and sometimes, it scares the crap out of me, lol.
