haha! That is amazing
I’m a ranger and I have giant birds sometimes, like Salamol said, hehe
I really want to see a picture of this
This is not in the spirit of the game at all.
And in all my years of gaming I have never seen such a childish display…
Very sad.
I support Nice skills
bring up my post!
This is a really, really great post.
As a Ranger I love this idea.
I also agree it is weird that mesmers wield greatswords like butterknives, aha!
bump! just making it easier to see.
I would really like to see a big heavy, chunky longbow made for a norn/charr/human.
Sylvari, mlp fans, et al, can keep their ponies and flowers. I think it is cool that Anet have made something for them – it gets kinda boring when every legendary of every game is a big flaming thing with spikes everywhere, etc.
This is pretty awful :\
Hello!
I have a short but sweet suggestion:
Please make some more vests for our characters.
The long coats hide our weapons, or worse, clip them.
If we could have some more vests in the coat item range that are short and sweet, tight and nice, that show off our great weapons, that would be fantastic.
I’m hoping your designers are keen to make these, Anet!
Cheers,
RVRFNX, Norn Ranger.
You know, I was doing Dark Reverie yesterday (on my norn) and it was very difficult.
I have a lvl 50 asura warrior, and well, they are so nimble… so small… It wasn’t until I made my norn that I realized how much easier certain jumping puzzles are! But I love norn lore, the way they look, their area… So I’m just going to do my best re: jumping puzzles. I eventually got Dark Reverie done, with help from other players doing it (all sorts were having trouble haha, it was good fun rezzing each other and what not) and once I got to the top it felt great.
The challenge may be harder, but the reward is sweeter.
Hang in their with your norn… I don’t think Anet will change anything unless it was really impossible to finish some jumping puzzles with norn – right now, it just seems more difficult but many people wouldn’t know unless they played norn and saw the camera issues, etc.
No!
No no no no no no no! :p
Wow…. I have no words.
How did this make it into the game?
Right and wrong are terms that humans apply to actions based on our perception of events.
Logan doesn’t have to apologize for making a “wrong” choice because he didn’t.
Right and wrong are not absolutes, they are opinions, and like all opinions, no one person’s opinion is any more correct then any others.
The breaking up of DE is not one person’s fault, it is the fault of all people who have an opinion on the matter that they believe was right, which is to say, all of them.
So this is your opinion?
I can’t decide between mesmer or guardian for WvWvW and I don’t have time to play them both so I’m hoping some experienced players can help me out? Cheers.
Thanks guys! bumping this for more comments and halp.
Hello mesmers!
I’m trying to decide on a profession, I’m a bit unhappy switching between alts – I really just want to settle on a main and be happy with it.
That being said, I’ve enjoyed playing different professions.
For a while I played a warrior (currently lvl 50) but for my own reasons I don’t see myself going all the way to 80 with him and playing him often after that.
I’ve got a guardian alt and a mesmer alt.
Both are interesting and both are fun.
Both appeal to me a lot because of the interesting ways you can use them to control mobs/other players.
I’m finding it hard to decide between the guardian’s playability, heals, forcewalls, tome (etc) and the mesmers chaotic boons/conditions, teleports, and duplications.
I’d enjoy using staves with both professions.
I also really, really enjoy the firebreathing the guardian can do.
But I also love the fact that the mesmer can teleport, and I wonder about how cool that would be for jump puzzles and such.
So please, if you have an opinion or experience with these professions or just about choosing professions in mmos let me hear it.
Lastly; I’m not in a rush to 80 nor to get geared. I more enjoy adventuring through the world, helping players, thrashing mobs, doing interesting things and getting to interesting places with a bit of WvWvW thrown in for good measure too.
Every one of my bags is all buttery and my mouth is all chocolatey please save me from this hellish fate Arenanaet!
glob glob glob
Sho musch chokalish!
you by any chance didn’t happen to move the map up to the top right hand corner, did you?
I love the standing animation too! I also tend to rubber-neck when I’m running through places. I noticed that my character’s head turns, not just the way that my camera is facing (sometimes I run sideways while craning my view upwards) but if I run past anything I have clicked on she stays looking at it.
I love how the NPC’s were having a conversation in Lion’s Arch tonight about the sewer system, and then 10 minutes later we found a deep hole within them that went no where really, but the detail under the water with the broken up ships…just beautiful.
Also, another thank you to the Norn that helped us to find the sewer for that POI and Karma seller.
I’ve heard that there is a fish down there, kinda rare, that rangers are able to charm.
I am loving it… Only 10 percent of the map discovered so far but in each of those ten percents there is a huge amount of wonderful detail to be enjoyed. This is a really great game to just go slow, relax, and take it all in.
Are you sure the two pieces of armour are in the same category? (i.e. heavy, medium, or light?) Hope to find the solution to your problem soon!
I’m pretty happy with Turtle’s ban. Hopefully you won’t begin that awful spam that plagues other mmo’s. the whole (word here) [skill here] spam is something that I hope never comes to GW2 and I applaud Anet, and the players, for striving for a great playing experience.
Perhaps you could try a warrior?
Or maybe a guardian?
They are both decent in pve and they should give you a good feel for the game.
Lots of weapons to try out and stuff like that.
The TOS does not improve the community. Every single player is guilty of breaking it, so it’s really just a system of reporting people you don’t like so that they get banned. If I get into an argument with someone and swear, and then get reported and banned for swearing, is it the argument or the swearing that is wrong?
This treats a symptom in the most fascist manner possible and completely ignores the cause.
You know it’s still an abusive community because it’s just another system that can be abused.
>every single player is guilty of breaking it
Wrong
> If I get into an argument with someone and swear, and then get reported and banned for swearing, is it the argument or the swearing that is wrong?
Don’t swear in the first place, in fact, don’t get into petty arguments.
>This treats a symptom in the most fascist manner possible and completely ignores the cause.
Actually, the most fascist way possible would be something like: Killing you and your whole family. However, Anet clearly spell it out in the terms of server the kind of community they want to foster – if you don’t read that, or lack the ability to not be a keyboard-warrior with a penchant for swear-words than perhaps you need to work on your self-control, rather than blaming Anet.
>You know it’s still an abusive community because it’s just another system that can be abused.
Because…. wait what? It’s not abuse, it’s clearly written in the terms of service. I guess what is happening here is that you’re not agreeing with them and ergo you think they are all fascist – which is really just a shock word for something that is far less sinister, you’re playing a game that has certain rules and you don’t like those rules.
Oh well, grow up…
Thank you so so so much Melana.
Everything I had an issue with, you have helped.
You should have seen my reaction when I found the collections in my bank, aha.
I found the dye in my bag.
And it is the mini map thing! I moved it up and darn, you’re right, I can’t see the list.
But yes, it seems as though my looting is working correctly – just tested.
Thank you very much for your help Melana.
Also; if i identify a dye the consequence is that the dye disappears. What is going on?
Basically, i’ve been farming some nodes and depositing the collectibles via the interface in game, however, I returned to my bank and none of the items are there… Furthermore, i’ve been killing enemies and they’ve been sparkling as if they have loot, yet there is none. And i’ve been killing lots of them (sons of svanir).
I quit the game, opened it up again, but it hasn’t changed.
I’m hoping it’s not because I popped a + xp bonus and + speed bonus that somehow I don’t get loot?
To sum up:
My collectibles have gone missing (i’m a noob, maybe they are hiding somewhere obvious?)
And in the last 15 minutes I haven’t been receiving loot from kills (from sparkling bodies).
Any knowledge guys?
Thanks.
documents>guild wars 2>screens should work fine.
Thanks for these tips! As a newbie, I find them very helpful.
