As title says, you guys nerfed skin of corrupted shortbow…. There is NO good design for Shortbow now… and I’m willing to pay 10.000 gems to give us SilverWing bow from Guild Wars 1.

1). The dreamer = is a joke right? horrible
2). Corrupted shortbow = won’t even mention disappointment of what did you guys done with the look of bow.
3). Forcing me to pay 350gold for Aether is forcing me to quite the game, because i’m not going to farm month just to get 1 normal skin for shortbow.

And since this game is all about look, and if we can’t get 1 regular skin, than “F” me…

There is no “F” good look of short bow…. not even ONE that i would like to have it now!
Aether is to expensive to take a risk and craft it, since i’ve heard it’s not original skin as well….

I use short bow / GS… and i don’t even want longbow, that’s why i went for this nice skin. If i would know this would happen i would be rather snowboarding for 1 week and dump the game for a week!
Because current skin is not even worth 3gold!!!

Not that we lost our favorite skin, we lost trust on some way, we lost time and passion to ever pick the long way for crafting something…

My suggestion is to scale down the size of longbow and keep the original skin! Like we have many sets like this where long/short bow difference is only size!!!

I refused to buy corrupted lodestones and instead i went and farmed them for days even if i did know that drop rate was very “F” up… I was VERY bored in game, and this way i made myself little busy, wasted whole week to farm for 30 corrupted lodestones in Frostgorge.
( i could run dungeons for 3 days and get enough money to buy it, BUT this is not my WAY!)

Legendary weapon The Dreamer looks like a horrible joke to me and it’s not worth farming for month to get that ugly look, so i bought corrupted recipe, checked how it looks and started to farm for it… it’s not my stupid fault that no one ever told us that short bow is bugged……

I want free exchange for long bow if we don’t get old skin back! Because i’m not going to craft and farm another one just because game was bugged and no1 told us ! Thats PATHETIC ! And if i would know that short bow looks like this, i would NEVER go and waste so much time for such bad design !!!!!

We have very low short bow choice of good looking bows, and now we get this???? Rather redesign new look for longbow and give us back the old short bow skin !!!! “F” -.-

It’s just annoying to have everything sorted on own place, it’s like all over the place and you have to jump up and down to search for 3 things which you need…
Make option to sort it out like regular bank slot for non-material, right now it’s very messy and many in my pvp guild don’t like that there is no option to have all items on one place………

a). There is other point, i think in starting locations there should be major boss which drop some awesome stuff, that would bring people back in town and hunt it down.
b). Do some daily quests at home area.
c). Do some collectable items which can be acquired only in starting locations.
d). Do repeatable quests for acquiring item which is needed for legendary.
e) Combination of first 4.

I like the idea, but after all major fixes, that would be great. Because all the crafting doesn’t have major priority right now, since almost no1 buy crafted items, they have to fix prices and worth of crafted items in game, after that happen, this app would become very handy, and i would love to have one, since i would like to do that while at work/bus.

You can already drop money in bank as people said, but it’s true that it could be more obvious how to do it.

I’m for cosmetic mounts or a mostly cosmetic mounts. With a few cool-down skills to help players escape from small mobs.

Some think players on mounts skip over content and don’t contribute to the waypoint gold sink.
*But I think players using waypoints skip over more content then mounts. Because if you are on a mount, you are exploring the world. And the time it takes to go from one zone to the next is lost income.

U explore it even less than with WP, if u would get benefit of speed, you would make blitzkrieg trough the continent… When you use WP you at last run around. ( in ever game you had town portals as i remember, so they had WP on some way)
And what they did? Skip and blitzkrieg… (Gaming in the speed of flash)

The issue of clothing options per gender is a pretty big discussion point across the forums here. The imbalance between males and females needs to be corrected, and this game has the potential to be a leader in this area.

1). I’m fan from GW1
2). There is no ’’Healers’’ ’’Tanks’’ ‘’ Support’‘, because i don’t want to be dependent of other people. Don’t even try to change this game into something ‘’ ordinary ’’.

And i don’t know why did they make thief the fastest class in game. They have stealth and stuff. Why did they get so much speed? lol it’s wrong if u ask me.

I don’t know the other classes extremely well but I don’t think anyone else can do it as well as the ranger can. I don’t really do this anymore because I prefer solo roaming and camp/neutral capping. Build doesn’t matter a huge amount but I’ll outline the general idea starting with the skills.

Important Skills
Swoop – As far as I’m concerned this is an absolute must have. You just need to be able to get in and out of enemy zergs and/or chase and catch your target and nothing else works as well. This does mean you’re using a greatsword as one of your weapons.

Longbow – Barrage
Axe – Winter’s Bite
Shortbow – Crippling Shot/Concussive Shot
Dagger – Crippling Talon
Spike Trap
Frost Trap
Muddy Terrain
Entangle
Signet of the Hunt
Canine Pets (Wolf, Drakehound, and Arctic Wolf preferred)

Your Job
Basically your job is to stop the enemy from getting where they want to go, that’s it. If they’re running away you swoop after them and cripple, chill, and immobilize everyone you can. If you’re running away, do the same thing. If a warrior or a thief darts in to your zerg to poke and/or skirmish you make sure they don’t leave again. If someone on your side does the same you make sure they get out when they want to.

I know this doesn’t sound very glorious and odds are many times no one will notice you did it, but it works and it helps.

Back when I used to run this sort of setup I used a 0/30/30/0/10 build with GS/Axe-Horn and Spike Trap, Frost Trap, Signet of the Hunt, and Entangle. I would go in zerg fights and the second I saw some people from the other zerg had over extended I would make them suffer for it.

Send in the non-wolf and F2 -> Swoop -> Entangle ->Run Deeper with Counter Attack -> Throw Traps to prevent retreat and/or lockdown new targets -> Pet Swap to Wolf -> AoE Fear (enemies behind get feared into my zerg) -> Weapon Swap (I had Axe) and use single target CC on choice targets.

You aren’t actually trying to kill anything, once someone is locked down and your zerg is pouncing you keep running to the next target. Your goal is simply separate the weak ones. If you time it right your zerg will sense the weakness and pounce on those you hit with CC. You set them up, they knock them down. The other zerg will likely retreat or at least not push back because your side suddenly has momentum.

I don’t know how well I explained all that but the tl;dr is basically spam AoE CC everywhere at the right time and win because your bloodthirsty zerg will jump on them.

And this is fun? As ranger you should HUNT and take down everything… that trap and crap is just annoying… In GW1 we barely used them because there was so many better and more enjoyable skills… i hope they bring more things from GW1 because trapping is not fun, it’s boring. I want to use my bow set more.

I was playing WvW and PvP when guardian shoot me on roof with staff for more dmg than i done it with my bow or short bow… aren’t rangers masters of range??? wtf… and let me mention that guard didnt use any reflect dmg…

Getting hacked is very bad another words ’’lame’’ excuse since:

Your IP’s addresses and pc that you use is linked, if you get caught from your own IP address since you confirmed ‘’home and hosting IP’’ spaming selling gold and botting is prevented to be hacked. You have no defense, and your account can get shut down, and they don’t need additional reason, because:

a) you were on your own IP, spamming or selling gold.
b) IP and logs are stored, you get what you deserve.

Indeed learn english, it’s International language.

Bad suggestion, you have skills for that. This game has no other evading system, that’s why endurance was implemented.

meh I disagree. A Halberd or spear would be treated like a gs it hammer.
Just less damage more range and if anything just limit to the amount of ppl it can hit.

This game is programmed so you can’t lure more than 6-7 mobs which are normally in current radius, if u lure them to far they return, what I’m trying to say is that this weapon would be useless, because requires a big group of monsters. And i’m against that they would change lands just to implement another weapon, me personally i’m against luring and cleaning big amounts of creatures.

Thief has to many skills anyways, and he can reach you in no time using hide, so that would be just insane, poke, run poke, run poke run…. it would be annoying … no way to get 1200 for thief because of Thief skills and mechanics. Thief need nerf, not buff..

I’m reading forum of guild wars 2 each day, and i’m very disappointed how the ideas of people are very limited in matter of innovating anything new to the Guild Wars 2, as new class. (monks, druids, shamans.. just another wow thing which we don’t want to see at all because healing and stuff is not going to happen… ever)

If any of suggestions is ever readed by dev, i would like to show and give developers some inspiration and ideas for new class and weapons. And for you guys, i would suggest that you don’t just read it would be nice to post replay to get this idea to live.

As we know paragons are the loyal people of Elona i had in mind that it would be awesome to continue the lore and story of guild wars 1.I already know that many people don’t like paragons because developers didn’t give much attention on them in previous game(GW1). They were neglected, and not developed as other classes.

In Guild wars2 i would suggest influencing paragons with middle earth culture. African, Gladiator and Ancient Greek >Spartans.
Giving them heavy or medium armor and following weapons:

• Spear (As they wielded them in GW1)
• Sword
• Shield
• Dagger
• Mace

As optional i would like to represent new weapon to the guild wars 2 which would make this class so special.
For those who like to rage “This won’t happen it’s toooo complicated”, I’m letting you know, that each of this weapons are already implemented in game, so that wouldn’t be major problem to create weapons out of them, because they are in every day use:

• Whip: ( Monsters in ORR risen use them, as well as Thief’s skill “Scorpion Wire”)
• Net: ( Many monsters use a net to immobilize enemies)
• Spear:( Many monsters including Quaggans use spear)

Their play type would be middle range and frontliner, combining next weapons sets:

• Spear / Shield
• Spear / Battle net
• Sword / Shield
• Dagger/ Shield
• Mace / Shield
• Whip / Shield
• Whip / Battle net

Because we have to many long ranged as mages and rangers, we need more front-line and specially MID range type of class.

I bought Citadel of Flames armor(CoF) a while ago, and now i want to combine armor parts…
Please separate CoF medium armor shoulders from body … because even if you unequip shoulders .. they are still there, they are linked to body for no reason, do something about that bug !!! !!!

Posted same post at suggestion, i don’t know if shoulders are bind on purpose or not.

I was UW runner, and i don’t want this in GW2, it just ruin games.

Chests in dungeon don’t apply magic find. So worthless to use it anyways.

I didn’t copy this from any game, it’s personal idea, and i would enjoy the run =)
And about map, map would not be regular jumping puzzle, it would be a 20×500 meters long map for example, and less parts to fall from it, edited for pvp.

I just had great idea of ‘’Puzzle Rush PvP’’, trying to be short just to present the idea as simple as i can:

5v5 Guild v Guild
5v5 Random v Random

Map and Idea:
There would be a long map with climbing, jumping and sprinting parts. Map would have no monsters. There would be 9 items at beginning of the map. First team who bring 5 items on other side of the map wins. Each team can carry only 1 item at the time, successful transport is rewarded by 1 point. Carrier has a glowing aura, each team own color ( red / blue ) so the carrier is well seen.

PvP:
People must protect the carrying player or make sure to slow down enemy carrier.
Idea is that people can fight to prevent transporting the item or defend own carrier for safe pass.
If Item is dropped by carrier, team mate can pick it and carry on, if enemy team pick the item, item is returned to the beginning.

If enemy team prevent transporting and item is returned 5x your team loses 1 point, item is returned to beginning.

This is just basic core idea for developers, let me know what you guys think if you would like to see something like this in game

Better game choices would be like old GW1 modes:
GvG 6v6, 8v8 guild vs guild
PvX 4v4, >> this will probably come later with new continents( atm we leak of skills )
Random Arena, randoms 4V4
Tower defence: Capture the tower and kill tower lord in 10 min or so.
Puzzle rush: 5 People would rush to complete puzzle run.

Sorry mate, this suggestion is bad one, actually that would break many things because in pvp or pve every second count, so i don’t want to stand there in poison or under any condition to wait for some1 to replay and get revive … it’s just 1 more thing that would make people annoyed…

If u have to go afk instantly, turn to any direction u think it will be less mobs, and press R, you will run in some direction with bit of luck u will survive, if not that’s your own problem + repairing gear is not even so expensive … people normally waste more silver for WP than gear repair … and idk what you are doing.. gear don’t get broke just so… you would have to be afk minimum 5 hours and i bet in that time you would be able to go and logout.. if not than you are just lazy… and we can’t support u at that. Babys don’t need 5 hours attention in 1 strike.
