As for me and hiding achievements on that panel, I’d love to. I’m 1 story dungeon away from being able to have the achievement that deals with Story dungeons complete. I’m missing Sorrow’s Embrace. I have to be in a specific mood to do dungeons and that’s not the mood I’m in when I’m achievement point hunting. And I only care about the Nearly Completed list when I’m achievement point hunting.

I don’t want to “Go for the Gold”! So right now my list consists of “Slayer”, “Greatsword Master”, and “Go for the Gold”.
I’m 250 kills away from the greatsword thing. -_-

Background info:
Case 1: A while ago I started doing the items on the “nearly completed” list. I had stopped PvPing looong before that, and was a bit annoyed by the “Slayer” item on the list, since I now only had 2 items I could do. Eventually I decided to just get that slayer tier over and done with by killing 20 or so players… only to have the next tier pop up, where I was more than 100 kills away from completion. -_-

Case 2: I killed about 100 [things], and then another 100 [other things] for the creature slayer achievements, only to have Greatsword Master pop up AFTER those. Had I known it was going to be next, I would have killed those things with my mes / warr instead of my ele.

Case 3: I’d play Sanctum Sprint (for example) before logging off, not realising that it has appeared on my nearly completed. Now it’s on that list for days until I have the chance to actually do SS again.

Possible Solutions:

1. Perhaps split nearly completed lists into WvW, PvP and PvE.
2. Allow me to hide items I’m not interested in, i.e. have a “Do not show this item in nearly completed list” checkbox.
3. Have an expandable list that shows the next 10 nearly completed achievements. Only the top 3 show up in the summary, but then there’s a tab to see more.

What I’d like is a separate bag or space for only weapons and spare armor sets. I always imagine a side-bar-bag exclusively for those.

But yes. Inventory space can be quite bothersome.

The easiest way to complete this is to have a friend help you (their story start) and die before the event starts and let them solo it.

That’s how we did it too. We ended up doing it multiple times so everyone has a chance to be dead. It’s the easiest way, and you get all the achievements at once (if your group pops all the flowers).

But I think we really need a /lemmetakeaselfie. It doesn’t have to actually take a picture. It just lets the characters around you come together to smile at an imaginary phone. :P

I think the last thing I want to see is hipster pretentious nonsense like twerking and selfie-taking in-game.

But can you imagine what a twerking asura or charr would look like! XD

A friend of mine had the idea of making it a boon.

It should be a boon that lasts 10s or something that is “re-applied” for as long as you’re inside – so when you step out, you have 10s where you can still go back without having to re-click the scroll.

This should work since boons are still there after you’ve logged back in.

Or it should just show the display name when hovering over. I find this a bit annoying too. :/

Oh! And in Aion your character actually laughs when you type lol or something, even if it was in the middle of a sentence, or it nods if you typed kk. Basically, the character responds to what he’s saying.

“Triggered by: Laugh,Haha,Hahaha,Hoho,Hohoho,hehe,giggle,lol,rofl,roflmao,heh,Heehee,/lol,/rofl,/giggle”

So what about making legendary footsteps equip-able, like minis or outfits. You need to unlock them first, of course.

If you have a main- and offhand legendary equipped, but you might prefer the offhand’s footsteps.
Or you could have eternity, but when you weapon swap you’re left with nothing.

Of course there could be limits, like a character can only “equip” the footsteps of a weapon he’d be able to wield (even if he’s not doing so at the moment).

So yeah. That’s it. Thoughts?

Just a mention regarding Iason Evan’s post from a month ago:

I’d like to be able to store gold in my account bank. Why?
It would feel much more like saving; to limit myself to having, say, 50g in my account wallet, and to deposit the rest to my bank. I guess it’s kinda redundant and unnecessary, but I like the idea of having a piggy bank – to save up for something.

I tend to be more willing to spend if I see exactly how much gold I have. “Bah, I have [x]g. I’m just gonna go ahead and buy that [Gem Store item] .” instead of “Hm.. I’m a bit low on this week’s allowance. I’d rather wait for it to go on sale.”

I too had this problem!

I got that last one by revisiting dives I weren’t sure about. There were dives where I KNEW they got counted, and there were those I weren’t so sure about.

There was one where I never transformed back, and I thought it could’ve been that one. I kept revisiting and re-diving that, but after it had been fixed I still had only 37.

Re-diving certainly wasn’t fun, but luckily I only had to revisit about 5 to find that missing one.

I also have this problem. It started after that patch – it was one that moved the minimap up by half a centimetre. I always play with the minimap zoomed in all the way. Now I have to constantly re-zoom back in, since it keeps resetting. :/

Please fix this.

I wouldn’t mind having a mini-me…

Basically a mini version of the character “wielding” it. If it could also copy everything the character does, it would be so cute!
