Large-size races look like they are running in molasses to me…but I also have to make sure to put bright or high-contrast dyes on my asura, or I have a hard time seeing her in a sea of other players/magic effects. LVL 20.

Bunker AH build with 4x Divinity 2x Earth runes for protection duration. I also provide stability and regen for my melee brothers and sisters. Numbers include oil and truffle ravioli.

I’m still foolin’ around with this build and after many tank and spank encounters with the champ ooze king (by myself)..this one seems pretty sweet spot, at least for solo. All signets in utility slots. Before you crucify me, this is an evolution of my desire to have a build that’s primary goal is to maximize passive stats and reduce any spikes and dips. Has this been accomplished? I’m not entirely sure, but I never dropped below 80% health while hardly dodging (I’m aware of the need to dodge in general) and took out spawning adds as well with no worries. I’m not sure if this is viable with groups or not…I’m guessing not. I know I still have much to learn about this class and that’s what keeps it interesting for me..the constant tinkering.

I’ve been trying to match my tier 3 armor to match the weapon dyes, but the closest thing I can find is antique silver..still looks a bit off. Any suggestions?

So the “your not a healer” thread got me to thinking about what my own personal build has evolved into based on my game-play preferences. I’ll post a few pics to illustrate my take on the AH hammer build that (I hope) reflects my philosophy: maximizing stats in a stable way. Limiting the number of bonuses that occur when something else procs and emphasizing things that provide a flat, stable increase in performance. I like utility skills with a short cooldown, omnom loaf for flat stat increase and divinity runes for the same effect. One notable exception is the superior sigil of blood which has a 60% chance of lifesteal on crit…this just seems too useful to me so far. I am in no way implying my philosophy is superior in any way, only that it seems to work well for me. So, as I queried in the title, what is yours?

Here’s Plixxa! I’m having so much fun with the guardian profession.
Tier 3 cultural armor except the legs, which are tier 2 and look a little more feminine IMHO. Hammer is corrupted transmuted to Vigil. Dyes are abyss, celestial and frost breeze.

It seems to be. Any AH hammer wielders use the Forge runes? I’m wondering if they are a viable choice vs. Soldier runes for damage mitigation. Thanks for any help.
