kaeneng had a zerg of about 25-40 in DR BL sunday nigth defending the tower directly outside their spawn and sometimes trying to take the camp north of it(that we’d take back as we were defending asc bay) and once or twice push on to asc bay southern outer wall.
DR had a zerg on the map of about 30-40 trying hard at asc bay from us.
i think the fact we pushed both side back repeatedly from what we wanted with a total defense force of 15 or so(11 guild members, some rando pugs from diffferent guilds) nullifies the idea that numbers > tactics at this tier.
half of my guys were on our lowbie alts as well, as low as level 4-6 and 15 in some cases. many of our 80s aren’t geared up yet.
Your group of 15 low level players wiped 80 players at the same time? -Whistles impressively-
I can’t understand why out of the 21 servers that launched in NA on release day, your server is dead last. It seems highly unfair that with your superior tactics you’d get stuck down here in the bottom tier with us lower population expansion servers.
And then no one even respects all your hard work. You keep telling them how good you are, every day, over and over again on the forums. Then you back it up by taking back the whole map during the day from noon to 8:00 when no one’s on to defend it. That should show people, but no. Every night they log and THIS keeps happening (see screenshot).
Don’t worry though brother. It doesn’t matter what everyone else thinks. At least you and I know how awesome you are.
I’m pulling for you!
Fub
Are the two of you sick of logging in to see that you have zero supply depots and one keep?
Is BP tired of taking all our supply depots and keeps while we’re not online to defend them?
Tell you what. You try to get your server to work together to stay out of our zones for 24 hours, then you’ll understand the difficulty of what you’re suggesting.
There have been talks between DR and Kaineng for weeks about working together, but the reality is you can’t get an entire server to get on board. If half the guilds agree not to attack each other and the other half go into each other’s borderlands, capture supply camps and kill each other, a truce doesn’t really work.
Mighteous you sound like a real winner bro. Where would you’re server be without you? … pause for effect…
Don’t get sucked in. There are two types of people on Kaineng: Those that have Mighteous on ignore, and those who haven’t bought the game yet.
Some video clips from our matchup last night with BP throughout the night, and a cameo of DR at the end.
Last night I took out my newly created Necromancer (level 8 when I started) and met up with the guys for a night of fun in WvW. This video obviously isn’t to demonstrate my skill, as half of the video I’m dead and part of the video I’m just walking around recording for the sake of making a video to showcase Kaineng having fun.
In the beginning of the video, everything was chaos. A lot of people were in Lion’s Arch right before the reset yelling to go to SM. Since most of the guild wasn’t on yet, we thought we’d hop over and assist. Turns out, after we got inside the first wall, people decided we didn’t really want SM after all. The place looks like a nightmare to keep clean. So we improvised. There was no “plan” here. No leader. It was just mob mentality. It turned into the weirdest Stonemist raid I’ve ever been a part of, but it was had us all laughing on voice chat so it was worth it.
After this we all headed back over to Kaineng BL.
This is how we roll on Kaineng. It’s not always pretty, but it’s almost always a good time.
BTW: We hit our first legit queue last night in KBL for a short while during peak that lasted nearly an hour. We still have THREE more zones to play in. Hint hint.
For the good of the server (ok, let’s be honest, they bribed me with cheesecake) my guild RAWR (formely Nuke) recently merged into Warsworn [WAR]. This was our first night out together as a guild since the merger started Thursday night. The video consists mostly of our alliance members [WAR] and [iSPY], as well as [RMA], a new guild from Brazil, who we teamed up with for most of the night.
There are however a lot of guilds and individuals that showed up to help the efforts. Too many to name separately, but thank you all for a fun time. I saw a lot of great teamwork last night.
For the new faces out there, I run a blog called The Kaineng War Report. http://kaineng.tumblr.com We are currently restructuring our communication as a server.
LaZy, one of the guilds on Kaineng that used to run our voice communications and web servers is moving for PVE reasons (Kaineng has a very tiny PVE community in the higher levels, making it difficult to gear up efficiently in the end-game). I wanted to thank them for their efforts on Kaineng, and wish them good luck where ever they end up.
If any guilds out there are interested in strengthening our communication and bettering our team work, send me a message with your guild contacts. We have a growing network of guilds willing to work together, and we don’t require anyone to leave their guild, their existing alliances, or their voice chat servers. We do however provide a voice server option for those that want to use it.
It is our opinion that no one guild on the server is better than another, and no guild is more important than the community. We look to work together, having every guild feel like they are a part of the team regardless of their size, levels, or experience.
I will have more “official” info soon, but think of this more as a NETWORK than an alliance as some people already have alliances and are reluctant to change, and that’s OK. If we all know who the leaders are, it’s easier to ask each other for or share information with other leaders and let them spread the info through their guilds as needed. If we have that in place, using /map to relay updates is a lot easier as people generally know who they should be assisting, and it helps those of us not in the loop out as well.
Also if you are 18+, a team player, don’t take yourself too seriously, and looking to join a group of WvW nuts who rarely know what we’re doing but are having fun doing it… Warsworn [WAR] might be for you. Send me a message and a gift certificate to your favorite restaurant, and I’ll hook you up with an invite.
For less than a cup of coffee per day… err, nm. Just message me.

I promote Kaineng a lot on the forums, but many of you might not know that I used to play on Devona’s Rest. I moved to Kaineng in part because I thought it would be more fun in the bottom tier if there was an actual legit 3 way battle each week instead of 2 servers fighting head to head and 1 of them always being greatly outnumbered. Kaineng wasn’t even a blip on the radar back then.
I can vouch for what Zaq is saying. DR was a great community when I was on it. I know they’ve gone through a fair bit of restructuring lately, having lost some bigger guilds, and they’re in the same boat with Kaineng in the small numbers department, but they are definitely worth a look at if you’re trying to find a new home. Right now DR and Kaineng seem to be fairly neck and neck in WvW, and I hope we both continue to grow evenly so we can maintain a fun 3 way battle over time.
“I am completely confident that were we put to scale with any server, including our current rival Kaineng, without the intervention of a giant like Borlis Pass, we would succeed. "
That part’s wrong though.
Good luck DR. See you on the battlefield.
Edit: D’oh. Zaq deleted his post. Anyhow, the message still stands. DR is worthy of consideration for transfer guilds as well.
I was at the fight where BP had gotten into Eth and killed the keep lord, and we all trickled in 1 and 2 at a time as we traversed the map trying to stop you guys. That was total chaos and fun to watch. I’ve got it on video, I’ll post it later today for those that missed it. I died as soon as I walked in the room, but the camera angle proved to be better for recording the whole thing with me being dead, so I guess it worked out. haha
Hiya DemonCow,
You came on a hectic night. A lot of new faces every weekend, and not everyone knows who’s who so it can be confusing. Weekends are usually chaotic.
We’ve had a server-wide teamspeak server and alliance in place now since the beginning. It’s been difficult getting a lot of the newer transfer guilds, or guilds that have just recently started moving from PVE to WvW to use these tools though, and now the guild that set it all up is leaving the server, so we’re starting fresh.
We are moving in the right direction though. My guild RAWR (which consisted mostly of members of a veteran WvW guild Nuke), merged into Warsworn last night.
Warsworn has been together for 6 years in various games, and brought an alliance with them to Kaineng last week of others who have also been playing with them for just as long. We have voice chat, 3 commanders, and our own cookie factory.
We also teamed up with RMA, another new guild to the server from Brazil who moved here two days ago, and started learning how to work together last night. RMA is a very good and large guild who has proven to be very friendly and teamwork oriented.
And I see things getting better very soon. Good things are in the works.
___________________________________________________
Also, I saw something last night that helped me understand an issue that has been puzzling me for quite some time now.
I’ve been on this server since about a week after it launched. I have been on these forums promoting this server actively as one of the best servers in NA based entirely on how much fun we have. I’ve made videos promoting the server. I’ve created the Kaineng War Report blog (http://kaineng.tumblr.com) to document our history as we grow. I love Kaineng. It’s my home.
Still though, there’s another guild leader on this server who despite seeming to have the exact same opinion of Kaineng as I do, doesn’t seem to like me very much. I’ve seen their guild leader flame me in /map chat, and seen him reply in a rather hostile manner in my own posts where I was attempting to promote teamwork and communication between guilds on Kaineng.
It’s puzzling, to say the least.
Then last night I saw this person say something in /map chat attempting to throw my words back at me.
And now I think I understand the issue.
Over the last few weeks, every weekend, we see tons of people moving to Kaineng. They see the scoreboard and think it has to do with us sucking. I saw it week after week “Why do we suck?” in /map chat, and I tried to help people understand the score and population issue.
I eventually got tired of trying to type out the answer to that question. I wrote an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) answering a lot of the questions we commonly saw in /map chat every weekend.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/PSA-Transfering-to-Kaineng-FAQ/first
Most people got it. I received a lot positive responses from this post and made friends from a lot of the people that moved to this server as a result of it.
Still, some people (2 in fact) read the thread and thought I was saying Kaineng sucks. And that appears to be where the problems started.
The truth is, this person, and myself, both are very strong willed, vocal, and feel very strongly about how awesome Kaineng is. I’m hoping that this person reads this and understands that we’re both wanting the same things out the game, the server, the community, and in WvW.
Until this issue is resolved, we effectively have two large guilds / alliances that aren’t communicating well, and considering our numbers this is a problem for Kaineng.
Last night my guild /alliance and this other person’s guild managed to take back 2 keeps, several towers, all the supply camps, and attempt to attack a 3rd keep in KBL while defending what we had, all while we weren’t working together. Imagine if we were all working as a team.
So what say ye brother? Let’s hug it out, and get our guilds / alliances on the same page for the good of the server, shall we?
___________________________________________________
So anyhow, back on task.
I have a TON of videos and screenshots from last night’s efforts to get online today. Check out http://kaineng.tumblr.com to view our history and keep track of where we’re headed.

I’m getting really tempted to make the jump to Kaineng.
You really should, if for no other reason than Kaineng has a Mooncow. I can’t wait see what happens when a DemonCow and a Mooncow combine forces.
He may have been tortured for years, his family brutaly beaten and burned alive in front of him, his home land kitten and pillaged while he was away…
If you’re a professional psychic by trade I’m out of here.
Eep. I wasn’t on much last night, but I was lead to believe by, uh, we’ll call him a cross dressing warmonger … that LaZy had already headed out and the TS server had been restructured. Will chat in game later. I don’t want to offer up redundant options if you guys are still around.
Thanks for the reply. Talk to you in game soon.
I woke up this morning to a ton of new posts and e-mails in my inbox. I’m about to head out the door so I can’t reply to everyone individually just yet, but I did get them and will get back to you all soon. I see a couple of new people have made their way to Kaineng since yesterday. Glad to have you guys!
I also wanted to point out that our server lost a major guild yesterday, and with it a major alliance. Not only did this cost us a lot of good players, but it also means we’ve lost the shared Kaineng voice chat server that about 7 or so guilds were using to communicate our WvW efforts.
I have been talking to the guild leaders of several guilds about reforming a new alliance for the server, and that seems to be moving in a positive direction. More information will follow in a later post, but we have a new voice chat option set up so we can continue communicating effectively.
Software: Raid Call – http://www.raidcall.com
Channel: This Is Kaineng!
Channel ID: 5124954
RaidCall is free, works well, and supports hundreds of simultaneous connections, which is why we chose it. We’ll use this to gauge interest in the new alliance before considering paid options. We may find we don’t need anything else. I know a lot of guilds on the server are already using RaidCall for their guilds.
If you would like your own guild voice chat channel, just let me know. I will be adding more guild channels from those I have already talked to as time permits.
Remember, this is an effort to bring the community together and make us stronger. It’s open to everyone. If you’re offended by team work, just don’t reply. It’s as simple as that. All you’re doing is making yourself and your guild look bad. You don’t want that, and I don’t want that for you.
Thanks everyone for your support, both Kaineng and non-Kaineng members alike. Busy day. More later.

The feeling around most of kaineg is we wish they would just leave along with some of the other guilds and let us truly start fresh with committed guilds.
I’m sorry. I tried to let this go un-answered, but I just can’t.
You don’t speak for the entire server when you make hateful comments towards SoS. You certainly don’t speak for me or my guild, or anyone in my alliance that I’m aware of. In fact, you’re new here yourself, so why would you even make such a comment? No one had even heard of your guild in WvW before last week.
SoS is an Asian guild that normally plays in the mornings. They keep to themselves, probably mostly due to a language barrier, but they don’t exclude anyone that wants to join them.
I have personally assisted SoS in a Borderlands raid one morning. They took over most of the map and then attacked Shad. They were very organized, very efficient, and demonstrated nothing but teamwork. They took a defended keep then managed to defend it for hours while holding on to the other resources they had captured prior.
http://kaineng.tumblr.com/post/32541662986/historical-archives-the-morning-shift-asian
I took a minute to compliment SoS on their teamwork, and one of their English speaking members told me he was just trying to help the guild learn how to play together as a team in WvW, as they are apparently pretty casual. I often see a lot of them doing PVE.
Make no mistake, we are hanging on by a thread to second place right now (for the first time ever) in part because of SoS’s morning shift efforts and I for one am glad to have them on our side and not on DR’s.
Also,
“Think about our community.”
Your guild is new to our little Kaineng WvW community, and you’re apparently new to these forums, so let me illustrate the irony of this statement for you.
I moved here weeks ago after playing against Kaineng for a week and only seeing TWO players. I wanted to try to help make a difference.
Since then me and others have been very active in promoting the Kaineng WvW efforts and helping us grow from what used to be two people, to what it is now.
Many of the people that are doing WvW now are doing so as a result of their guild leaders reading my posts. I know this for certain because they contact me when they move to the server. I’ve gotten random messages from players on many NA servers, a few EU servers, and even Mike Ferguson thanking me for my efforts to try to promote Kaineng, and balance the queues across the servers. Here are a few links if you’re interested in our history on Kaineng.
http://kaineng.tumblr.com/post/32540568041/historical-archives-after-seeing-the-state-of
You say "Think about our community. " but there wouldn’t be a community to think about if it wasn’t for my efforts on these forums and the efforts of others like me from guilds like Nuke, Oni, Apathy Inc, Dawn, BB, and LaZy who have been here since the beginning. I’ve been thinking about our community, long before you arrived. I helped build it.
You weren’t here in the “old days” when it was only 10 to 20 of us out fighting both servers at the same time and still gaining ground. We used to be able to do this with only 25 people:
http://kaineng.tumblr.com/post/32541963440/historical-data-teamwork-pays-off-kaineng-pulls
Now we have over twice the numbers and we can’t even hold a tower most nights. How would you assess that other than to say we’re going backwards?
I made a post here today, not to complain about imbalance, and not to promote my guild, and not to even try to recruit people to the server, but to request that Kaineng’s guilds start talking to each other so we can get back to working as a team the way we used to.
You used this opportunity to promote your guild, belittle my efforts, insult SoS, and demonstrate your lack of history of Kaineng. At the same time you didn’t offer up any contact information so that your guild could coordinate with the rest of us on this server that are trying to make a difference.
I respectfully ask that maybe it is you that should think about the community. I’m not your enemy mate, I’m just trying to help us get back to where we used to be. I really hope you will think about this before making a knee-jerk reaction post and realize we’re all just here to try to help us be the best server we can be with what we have to work with. That means teamwork.
So, if you would be so kind…

(edited by Fubuki.7162)
This accounts for about 80% of how I’ve played the game the last couple of weeks in WvW. You left out the part about how much fun it can be.
Also worth mentioning, a 5 man team doesn’t put the swords on the map when you attack. You need 6 or more for that. So if you have one team out placing swords all over the map while a 5 man team attacks an undefended tower, it’s quite easy to get the doors down with 1 person on the ram while everyone picks off the guards / takes out one-off defenders trying to get inside.
Just remember to take out the oil / cannons before dropping a RAM. It only takes 1 person getting inside with oil or cannons up to ruin the whole thing.
Hello WvW community,
Many of you know me as the guy that guy that has been promoting Kaineng (currently the last ranked server in NA) as the place to be for the few weeks.
I made these posts because Kaineng was truly a fun server to play on, and over the months I’ve heard from dozens of guilds and individuals that have transfered to try out Kaineng due to my posts. Some have stayed, many have moved on, but I appreciate them all giving us a try.
The truth is, life has changed on Kaineng over the last couple of weeks. We’ve lost a lot of guilds who were tired of losing by 500K points every where week and realized that having the outnumbered buff in all 4 zones at any given time was just never going to amount to a balanced fight.
But something unexpected has also happened during all of this. Kaineng has started to grow. Our 2 man WvW efforts grew to 5 men, then 10, then 20, and now I often see what appears to be about 40+ people running around in WvW.
However, with this growth, and with the high turnover, we’ve experienced more than our share of growing pains as lots of unfamiliar faces show up all at once and try to adjust to the situation.
Allow me to take off my PR hat and be candid for a moment.
Kaineng, for me personally, has gone from being an extremely fun band of rebels working together to pull off some really cool battles against what is effectively a titan in our tier, to being a collection of strangers fighting each other more than the enemy. We’re going backwards. Our tactics have gotten sloppy, and we’re trying to play like a large server when we’re not one. We’re being crushed in almost all of our efforts because of it.
I really hope we can turn this around as I’ve talked to multiple veteran guilds in the last couple of days that are ready to transfer.
Today I’m promoting a change in the way we as a server communicate. It’s time to put aside egos and stop pointing fingers, and start trying to come up with solutions that work.
Let me be clear, with our numbers we’re NEVER going to win our server pairing. We simply don’t have the numbers to be in more than one zone at a time effectively.
However, we can, with very little effort, get back on track to working together as a team and putting up the kind of fights that the larger servers used to respect us for.
Guild leaders and WvW reps, please read the following, reply to the post and add your contacts to in a reply. I’ll follow up with everyone shortly with the next step.
http://kaineng.tumblr.com/post/32804437805/kaineng-guilds-lets-get-it-together
Please help spread the word.
Returns PR hat to its original position
See you on the battlefield!
Fubuki
There are some videos on the first page of the blog. More coming soon.
Greetings from the front line!
I’ve recently started a blog journaling our war efforts on #1 server in North America (ranked by fun, not by score).
I’ll spend a little more time tweaking the look of the site this week, but for now it serves it purpose. If anyone would be interested in being “field reporters” and being able to add stories, screen shots and videos to the site, let me know and I’ll get you set up.
Also of note, realizing that it’s not going to be easy to get every guild on the server together in one alliance or on one voice chat, I’ve started a page on the site above listing the active WvW guilds and their WvW contacts. If you would like to have your guild and your WvW contacts listed, shoot me a private message on these forums or an e-mail in game and I will get you added ASAP.
See you on the front line!
Alright, this is our week to move up a notch. Stop wasting time doing things like… sleeping. It’s 9:00am. Let’s get back to work.
D’oh. All that and forgot to post the link. Thanks THORz.
BTW, I’ve gotten several messages this morning from people migrating to Kaineng. I know of at least 4 new guilds coming over to the server this weekend, which, if everything goes according to plan, should net us another 80+ people on in prime time by next week.
I encourage all of the new guys to hop over to the Kaineng United alliance web site hosted by LaZy and post on there letting us know who your WvW contacts are. We’re not perfect, but we do make efforts to work as a team and we’ll be happy to have you with us on our endeavors as well as supporting you on yours.
If you have any questions, feel free to message me in game. I’ll be on Broit.
See you on the battlefield!
I’m happy to report that things are looking up a little bit on Kaineng.
Our numbers continue to grow a little. I’m still not seeing any queues, but we are definitely starting to grow a bit. I measured everyone’s height with a pencil on the gate as they zoned in, and saw an average growth of about 2" when compared to last week.
Last night Delarme from [AI], Saarc and myself were on Team Speak talking about cornbread recipes or something when Delarme shouted “I have an idea!” We decided to bake cornbread another time, and rallied the forces as this sounded pretty urgent.
Before we knew it three guilds from the Kaineng United alliance ([AI], [RAWR] and [LaZy], about 30 people in all) had managed to capture Redlake, Red Water, and Shad, in Borlis Pass Borderlands, and even managed to steal an orb and defend it for a few hours.
Yes, I DID say about 30 people from 3 guilds (in all fairness, about 2/3 of which came from LaZy). If you guys have been following my posts for a while you’ll remember that the entire WvW community on Kaineng combined used to account for about 20 people at prime time.
But that’s not the most impressive part to me. What impressed me most was that while we were in BP doing this, Kaineng had other people / guilds running around taking back resources in two other zones at the same time. THAT was new.
Just one week ago we had to have everyone in WvW that was on be in one location at a time to do anything, and two weeks ago none of this would have been possible.
Of course BP was able to eventually rally a pretty impressive zerg of their own and steal our lunch money, but not before we were able to be witness signs of some really impressive progress on Kaineng.
I don’t want to get overconfident here, but if we keep this up, we may actually progress from 24th position in NA to 23rd by the end of the year. Blue keeps for Christmas! Make it happen Kaineng.
Good job to everyone involved last night. Nice teamwork.
(edited by Fubuki.7162)
Mighteous:
You seem to have your mind made up already about Kaineng, and judging by your general lack of respect for your fellow players, I’m replying to this post more for the benefit of others than for yourself so people can understand what took place this weekend.
Over the weekend we had a huge influx of new players. /map chat turned into a battle royal between a bunch of new names.
It was clear from watching chat that most of them assumed everyone else was veterans and that they were the only new people there, but in reality it was just a bunch of new faces arguing among themselves.
We discussed the issue in TS realizing that no one recognized ANY of the names in /map chat over the weekend, and decided to try to make the best of it and get us back on track.
We spammed TS server info all night. We also spammed the address of the alliance web site. All were welcome and encouraged to join. We relayed our targets in /team for those of us not in TS. We relayed relevant information in /team for those when it was appropriate. Other than that, what else could we do?
Yesterday I personally gained 11 levels, over 200 kills, gained over 60 Badges, and had an all around great time with my team mates (new and old alike) taking dozens of supply camps, towers and keeps and getting into some really epic fights.
The organization is there if you choose to work with us. The skill is there if you choose to be part of the team. What we don’t have is numbers, and all of this bickering is just a distraction.
BTW, most of us on TS are grown adults (men and women) with families. Some of us are even certified welders, motorcycle riders, kayak fishermen, and back yard BBQ artisans, so you can rest assured joining people on TS won’t in any way raise your estrogen levels. The community is also welcoming to women (as my wife can attest to).
Here is a little history for you. Some of us are trying to make a difference by doing something other than complaining.

This is a fair comment as well, and something that may be an issue to many players. Thanks for chiming in. I don’t do much PVE myself, but this is a very real issue for some people to consider before migrating.
So you’ve recently moved to Kaineng, happened to notice the state of WvW here and are currently in need of a trauma team. Don’t Panic! The Kaineng Preservation Society is here to help.
The Kaineng WvW FAQ for New Players / Transfers. The shortened URL to this post is:
Without Further ado:
1) Why do we suck?
Fair question! The answer is that we don’t have enough players to compete. Kaineng was one of the last servers brought online a week after the game went live. No large guilds transferred here.
For comparison’s sake, here’s the queue size for Henge of Denravi (the #1 server) and Kaineng (the smallest of the 24 NA servers).
https://dviw3bl0enbyw.cloudfront.net/uploads/forum_attachment/file/6533/Henge_of_Denravi.PNG
https://dviw3bl0enbyw.cloudfront.net/uploads/forum_attachment/file/6536/Kaineng.PNG
Kaineng has about 20 to 30 people in WvW only about 10 hours a day, meaning the rest of the time our map is free for the taking, and there’s nothing we can do about it. Our goals are different here on Kaineng. It’s all about giving them hell in prime time. Maybe this will change as we grow but that’s our lot in life right now and we have a lot of fun with that. For us it means we always have players to kill and resources to capture / defend and while we may be overwhelmed, we are never bored.
2) Who’s in charge here?
Kaineng is a revolving door. Every day we get new people who are sick of queue times, and we lose people who are sick of getting steamrolled. This makes communicating challenging.
We’ve made efforts to stabilize this to some degree. There are a few WvW guilds that have been around since the beginning, and are working to keep Kaineng’s community intact by welcoming the new players and trying to make them feel at home.
These guilds have formed an alliance, consisting mostly of [Nuke], [LaZy], [AI], [BB], and a few others. This alliance is open to EVERYONE. Simply ask in /team for the Team Speak server address or visit http://www.kainengunited.com for more info.
See #4 below for more info.
3) Team Speak sucks. Why not use (insert your favorite chat client here)?
We use Team Speak because when we had nothing, LaZy graciously set us up a Team Speak server that’s large enough for our server to use. We realize everyone has a preference, and there’s no shortage of tools. Team Speak, Ventrillo, Mumble, Raid Call, and others, and you can’t please all the people all the time. There has so far been no reason to consider changing anything because Team Speak works.
There are channels set up for each of the 4 WvW zones, and for alliance guilds that request it.
4) Voice chat sucks, why not use /team or /map?
Talking is faster than typing.
We do recognize though that a lot of people will be unable or unwilling to use Team Speak. I will start doing my best to relay “the plan” if there is one, when I’m online. If I’m not leading (and I’m usually not) I will relay the name of whoever is leading at the time. MY NEW CHARACTER NAME IS ZON. If I’m giving direction in /team, it’s because it’s currently what’s being discussed in Team Speak.
5) I need a LOT of attention. I like to complain a lot, insult people, and generally criticize everything Kaineng is doing because I’m smarter than everyone else. What should I do?
Glad you asked!
Press Escape, and click the “Logout” feature. Return to Character Select. On the bottom left, there’s a button that says “Worlds”. Use that to transfer to another server that can better make use of your highly specialized skills, as we’re not equipped to properly appreciate what you bring to the table.
We understand this is a shortcoming on our part, as we are after all not that intelligent, and probably won’t be able to figure out a way to resolve this issue in the foreseeable future. Thank you though for your efforts. They will not go un-noticed.

tl;dr
Kaineng is a small server. It’s not a server you can take yourself too seriously on.
Someone recently called Kaineng the Bad News Bears of WvW, and they couldn’t be more right. Yes, we lose, badly, but we put up some of the most epic fights in GW2. We hope you will join us in keeping Kaineng the most FUN server in NA.
Welcome to Kaineng. See you on the Battlefield!

I had not seen this thread until now.
I will say this much, trying to get an alliance with DR at this point may be rough. We’ve seen a lot of new players this week and our sense of community has taken a hit. It’s going to take us a while to get back on track while the new people and old people learn how to co-exist.
My group of 4 left the chaos and ran around by ourselves in Kaineng taking back Supply Camps. We ran into a rather large group of DR players in our back yard (15 or so, large by our standards) about 4 times and every time they engaged us. We had some rather fun fights with mixed outcomes.
After a while we went to Eternal Battlegrounds and did a tour of the map taking every supply camp, dredge / hylek / ogre camp, etc. along the way. We ended up in DR territory not realizing anyone was home since the whole map was green. We ran up on a group of about 10 DR trying to take back a keep with BP inside.
Being that we were the invaders, we tried to be honorable guests and run through without incident. We /waved, then continued on. A couple of guys started to attack us before realizing we weren’t fighting back, then stopped and went back to what they were doing. We moved down the road and took out a patrol of BP that were making their way to the keep we just passed, and went on about our business.
So yeah, I can’t speak for everyone, but I have a feeling over time this will play out and people just start making judgement calls. Sometimes it just doesn’t make sense to attack each other. Other times it’s quite fun.
If you see a group of [Nuke] only players and we run up on DR in someplace other than Kaineng BL, chances are we won’t attack. If we see you fighting BP we’ll even jump in and help. If we’re in mixed company though, or if we see you in Kaineng BL, all bets are off. Hard to control mob mentality, or ignore invaders in your own back yard.
We didn’t even have a huddle yet and Draygo’s calling an audible, so you can see how difficult it might be to get an entire server on board with anything.
I say just keep it fun fellas. We’re not burning down each other’s real life houses or anything. Agreeing not to attack each other may ruin the feel of the game in some unforeseen way, or cause problems internally between guilds wanting to attack each other and guilds that don’t.
Best policy is just to check out the map and make a judgement call. If Server 3 owns everything, we’re not doing each other favors by shooting each other in the back. If it’s fairly close like it was last night, I say get your points where you can get them and enjoy the battles.
Just my $0.02. I’m not an elected representative or anything.
Compliment accepted by FIST. We make a little seem like a whole lot, and every time I hear about a FIST “zerg” it is like I just heard an inside joke. The fact is we show up at most fights with a 2 to 1 disadvantage at least. Simply put, we don’t have time to camp as there are a ton of fights going on all over the map that we are needed at. We are just very coordinated and fast. However, I do not think we are as bad as you make us out to be, and we definitely don’t focus on Kaineng. What you saw was us defending Bravost aggressively. While we were “camping” the ogre camp we were actually fighting you guys on one side and Borlis on the other. From reset until around midnight we owned Borliss camps and towers or were fighting on them with most of our strength so I don’t know when you saw us "never attacking or owning Borliss territory. No one here is pretending that we want you guys to win (over us, obviously we would prefer to see you guys beat the Big Scary Servers), WE want to win, but it is hardly as you described it and my above points still stand. If it was not for FIST you guys would be looking at quite a few other red tags pouring into your zone. Whether you chose to acknowledge it or not. So please refrain from painting us as the evil bogeymen. On guild off peak hours we might have a few peeps just playing WvW randomly, but it doesn’t reflect our attitude and we definitely don’t need to (AND DO NOT) choose a “weaker” target if that is what you wish to portray yourself as. (<——not my opinion, like I said before it is nice to see you guys getting organized and our TS actually talked about your server cap of SM for about 15 minutes, and the general feeling was that of " Good Job Kaineng!" ) Fubuki I address this to you as you are generally the most vocal, mostly fair minded, and FUN member of Kaineng on the forums, and I definitely don’t want to see anything other than a friendly rivalry going on.
I have a feeling we’re going to be stuck together for a looong time mate. No hard feelings here. I just want us to be honest about what’s really going on out there. I didn’t come here to complain about FIST. You came here to complain about us having too much fun or something.
It’s just a game man. Nothing personal.
Show some love you say?
Here’s some love for you.
Last night when the match started, our side deliberately agreed to stay away from DR and focus on Borlis. And we did. Before we knew it, half our map was owned by DR. When we went to take it back, who was there? FIST.
Every. Single. Time.
You guys attacked us all night last night. Every 5 minutes we were losing Pangloss and Speldan. You took Mendos, you took Anzalias. You took Ogrewatch. You tried repeatedly to take Veloka. We took it all back while fighting off Borlis. Not once when I looked at the map did I see a single Borlis keep or tower owned by DR. And we don’t even refer to you guys by server most of the time. We just say “FIST is back in Pangloss again” and everyone knows who we’re talking about. If it wasn’t for fist, our side of the map would be pretty quiet most days.
To be quite honest our side is regularly commenting on what appears to be DR trying to get easy resources instead using any tactical sense and focusing on the larger server with us. There was a big discussion about it last night on Teamspeak, and we’ve made posts on these forums about it in the past. It still goes on.
And last night wasn’t the first time, this has been going on the whole time. All last week when we were fighting NSP we were fighting DR at the same time, most of which was FIST zergs. And I used to play on Devona’s Rest before moving to Kaineng so don’t try to tell me it’s not happening because I used to be right there with you guys going for the easy resources with FIST and PTX instead of trying to take FC’s keeps.
Two nights ago we saw DR trying to make some progress in their borderlands against NSP. We organized about 15 people and went to DR to run interference for an hour, and you guys recaptured a lot of your map. Then we pushed in to NSP Borderlands and took Redlake and Red Water defended it for hours.
And what did you do to return the favor? You went to Kaineng Borderlands and started taking our camps and towers while we were off in Shiverpeaks.
And last night while we were fighting off waves of Borlis at SM? Yep, we were also fighting off waves of DR in the other hallway behind us. Some of you even brought siege golems. We held off both DR and Boris in the Lord’s Room at SM for 2 hours at the same time. Of course we’re going to be proud of that accomplishment. You guys fed us a LOT of badges.
So let’s agree to stop pretending here. DR is everything you claim not to be and more, and FIST is by far the biggest offender.
And no one’s taking it personally. It’s a game, you guys are small, and trying to have fun just like we are. If it’s easier to take keeps from the “weak” server to inflate your score, why not? We get it. But don’t do it and then act like you’re not.
If you’d like to discuss a different strategy, I’m all ears. If you keep coming into Kaineng, then we’ll just call it business as usual.
- Fub
“Oh well, was a good ad calling for help, too bad it is untrue. Your people run when less people are being faced, refuse to cap a tower defended by one guy just because it has reinforced doors. You had a chance to attract a large wvw guild but we will not be a part of useless team mates like you. Back to your own devices.”
Let’s be clear here, you represent the exact kind of people we DON’T want coming to Kaineng. You clearly have no idea what Kaineng is about, and obviously made no attempt to fit into the community and figure it out before making some childish assessment of the community.
Last night for the first time in two weeks I saw something I had never seen before on Kaineng… an argument. And it was from someone from another server, like yourself, with a big ego who thought he was going to come save us from ourselves.
I invited him to use Teamspeak. He refused to join the teamspeak server the rest of us was on because of some ridiculous personal vendetta against the software. He insisted all of us instantly change and start using what HE wanted because obviously right before a big push to take Stonemist was the appropriate time in his mind for us all to stop what we were doing and appease him.
Then when I invite him to join the alliance web site and suggest the other chat program there, he insisted he was above doing that because HIS amazing guild was bigger than our whole server, and therefore apparently was too important to mingle with us lowlifes.
The whole time he was talking to us like we were beneath him. The rest of us were just thinking how childish he sounded.
And then YOU get on these forums sounding just like him (maybe you are him, I don’t know) and post this and think what, we’re going to feel sorry for ourselves for missing out on such a glorious opportunity to have YOU come grace us with your presence? I feel embarrassed for you.
Fubuki aka Gabe
BTW: See the screenshot below? This is about 30 people working together fighting off two servers at once because both of them would rather try to take the “easy” resources than fight each other. Most of those keeps were taken from us and we took them back, with defenders inside. What you stated above makes no sense.
Yes, we will lose all of it when we log out for the night. No, we don’t have enough people to be in Eternal and the Borderlands at the same time, and for this, we’re always going to lose, but from 8:00 to midnight every night we give them hell.
Maybe if you were on teamspeak with us, you would have known who to run with and where to go.
Just saying.
So we’re wrapping up week one of our weekly server pairings, and Kaineng has worked hard this week to secure our place at the very bottom of the rankings again. (Insider secret, it’s not as hard as it looks.)
People have commented in some of my posts about how much fun Kaineng seems to be having even though we’re at the in last place. They are correct. Kaineng is an absolute blast.
But this isn’t a “move to Kaineng” post. In fact, if you’re on a losing server, I have a different message for you. Stay where you are.
I started out on a top 3 server and after a series of server transfers worked my way to the bottom. In my experience, the server rankings and my personal ranking of which servers have been the most fun to play on are completely opposite of each other.
So without further ado, here’s my guide to having fun on a losing server. In honor of Stephen Colbert, I call it:
KAINENG IS AWESOME, AND SO CAN YOU!
1) Get some perspective. This is a game, play it.
Some members on the top 3 servers have spent as much as 15 or more hours in queue over the last week just to be able to say their server won. I went 3 days in a row without being able to do WvW because of my play schedule and long queue times when I was on other servers. Once I did get in, there was nothing to do because we had already dominated the other two servers into submission. It’s REALLY boring.
Yes, you might be losing, but you’re at least playing the game!
2) Stop looking at the scoreboard.
Only one team is going to be #1 each week, and chances are you’re not on it. If you were, enjoy the queues. You chose to be there. And even if your team does lose your pairing, take joy in knowing you’re at least beating Kaineng.
3) Make realistic goals.
If your plan is to log in every night, take over the map, and maintain that through the early AM hours while most of your server is asleep, you are setting yourself up for failure.
Instead, start simple. Something like “I’m going to protect this bush”. Then celebrate excessively when you succeed. Work your way up until you figure out what your server’s limits are, then work within those limits.
4) Join a guild that can laugh in the face of failure. If your guild can’t do that, find another guild. Period. There’s no room on a losing server for people who take themselves too seriously.
5) Become a Resurrection Ninja Master.
I cannot overstate the importance of keeping your allies on their feet. If you are a 5 man team facing a 10 man team, and you get people back to their feet 5 times before they’re fully defeated and your opponent doesn’t, you just leveled the playing field. My 5 man team constantly wipes 10 man (or higher) teams based entirely on the fact that we’re better at rezzing than they are (and we do everything we can to prevent them from rezzing).
6) Important: Nothing trumps a good community.
It’s good to have a good guild. It’s good to have an alliance of several guilds, but once you start omitting anyone from having fun it creates a divide. It doesn’t matter if someone’s level 5 and unguilded, accept them, teach them, and let them feel appreciated. They will eventually level and learn the game and you’d much rather have them on your team than off helping some other server.
Check your ego at the door. Don’t claim to be special, you’re not. Don’t claim to be a leader, that will be apparent to anyone if you’re good at it without you telling them. Pride in your guild or your accomplishments are fine, but not at the expense of alienating your community. Your server is losing, badly. This isn’t the time to get a big head.
Set up a community teamspeak server, get an alliance forum going, and have fun with it. If people start to take this too seriously, nudge them back on course and remind them of the following:
7) Most importantly, remember, it’s just a game.
When you’re done at night, turn off the game and be happy with the fact that you did all you could to help your team win, and you’ll do it again tomorrow. The rest is out of your hands.
Congratulations to all of the winners this week, and good luck to everyone next week. Heaven help you if you’re facing Kaineng between the hours of 8:00 and 12:00 EST though. We may only choose to take ONE KEEP, but you won’t get it back until we’re ready to give it to you.
Hopefully you understand that this is never going to happen in a million years and have a plan B to resolve these issues. People would rather queue than play and lose and nobody is going to give up their slot on a stacked server for the chance to get steamrolled by it.
Not true at all. I did. Others are as well. I moved to the worst server out there, and I guarantee you I’m having a LOT more fun losing in WvW than all of these people waiting in queue for hours jut to be able to say their server won, only to get in and having nothing to do because their server already owns everything and the other teams have given up.
When you stop caring about the score board, and just play to kick some good old fashioned buttocks, WvW starts to feel a lot more like DAoC’s Realm vs Realm and a lot less like Zerg vs Door for the sake of winning an eSport.
Queue times, no thank you.
Or just have the orbs give less and then next to nothing as the point margin increases more and more. Honestly, the balance needs to start with the orbs of power first.
Thanks for the suggestion, but as I mentioned, this wasn’t a thread about balancing anything. I’m just talking about breaking the two week pairing up into a series of mini games. If I’m losing by 420K points (so far) like we’re doing on Kaineng after only 6 days, what do you think a two week matchup that never resets is going to be like?
No one wants to watch a NASCAR race for two weeks. (Some of us don’t even want to watch it at all, but that makes for a really bad analogy).
This isn’t a complaint post. I’m not trying to suggest a fix to balance issues, pairings, queue times or anything of the sort. I’m not that smart.
What if ArenaNet kept the matches running for 1 to 2 weeks as planned, but reset the match within that tier once a certain score was reached, say, 75K points (arbitrary number).
The period right after a new match is always the most fun IMO. Once a server has dominated a map, owns all the keeps, upgrades the keeps and reinforces them, and the clock keeps ticking long enough for them to get a high enough score, the winner has already been determined. No sense dragging it on for another two weeks IMO.
You won, we got it. Kudos. Let’s go again.
I feel like this would be more fun for the winners and the losers. At the end of the 2 week period, whoever accumulated the most total points wins.
Thoughts?
Edit: Oops. I realize I missed a post or two before commenting.
Kaineng is for lovers, and killers, and dancers. The complaints department is that way. —> Points to the high population servers.
(edited by Fubuki.7162)
lol, love the BNB video clip. I haven’t seen that in over 30… well, nevermind.
Nice post OP. Keep up the good work.
I see these forums and it’s just non-stop people griping about long queue times, zerg guilds, balance, etc. Everyone’s so worried about winning or losing they’ve completely forgotten they’re supposed to be having fun.
Last night tens of thousands (literally, maybe even hundreds of thousands) of players in NA waited in queue, some for many hours. The sad thing is, they didn’t have to. They CHOSE to. They could resolve their situation in a few mouse clicks and start having fun.
Last night on Kaineng, in that same period of time:
- I joined WvW instantly
- I earned about 40 Badges of Honor
- I earned 4 levels of experience
- I earned over 100 kills
- I was fully defeated… only 3 times
- I had a lot of fun with a my guild and the Kaineng community sticking it to NS’s zerg (with some DR interruptions here and there as well).
Yeah, we lost it all when we left the area, but it was a blast taking it.
By my math, we still have room for another 500 or so people on at prime time divided between the 4 maps BEFORE WE EVEN HIT A QUEUE.
Just saying.
As Musty said above, you can’t clump all of NSP together in one stereotype. I’m sure they have a large assortment of both good and bad players and there’s not any server out there that’s any different in that respect.
However, what the OP said is true. I’m on Kaineng and my krewe (yeah, I’m an Asura, what of it?) witnessed this on 3 separate occasions last night against NS players. In every encounter they were running around solo, and ran at the sight of trouble which tells me they’re probably more PVE oriented and probably just trying to clear the map or do jump puzzles or something.
For what it’s worth, I’ve witnessed it several times in the past against DR and FC as well, and this isn’t the first game I’ve seen people do this in, and probably won’t be the last. I used to run around with a group of level 20’s in DAoC. About 10 of us would get together, get naked and run through the Frontier attacking anything that moved. We died a lot, but sometimes we’d kill a level 50. On more than a few occasions someone would pull the plug right before dying. It happens.
NS certainly doesn’t have any shortage of other players to take your frustrations out on.
This forum really needs a multi-quote function.
Velron:
Glad you liked the music. It’s a song that’s probably not enjoyed by most, but it’s tradition for me at this point. I used that song in my first first PVP video a few years back, so now I use it for my first PVP video in each new MMO I play.
Ovitser:
You guys rocked. I wish I had thought to record the fight at the supply camp. That was a lot of fun, and a lot more typical of our normal fights on Kaineng than the video I linked above. I look forward to seeing the two of you out there in the future. Look me up any time.
Blankspace:
Thanks for the offer, but as I started on Devona’s Rest, and have spent the last week trying to help build up the Kaineng community, moving back to DR would have defeated the point. However, we have plenty of room for you here.
Besides, red is a much more intimidating color than blue.
Pendragon, I think the point you’re missing was that Darkness Falls was its own instance. If something like this were implemented, you’d have to leave EB or one of the 3 Borderlands to enter the instance, freeing up space.
The entrance to DF was only available to whoever happened to own the most keeps, and when your side got access to it, you ran there as fast as possible while the other two realms would fight each other to try to get access to it.
Once you’re inside the action continues, since you not only had the mobs to fight, you had the other players that were already in there to contend with as well.
Personally I love the idea. +1
About a week ago my wife and I moved to Kaineng after fighting against them for the previous week. In that time we had seen exactly TWO players from Kaineng, and figured we should do what we could to help out. With a few clicks we doubled Kaineng’s presence in WvW from 2 to 4. Global domination was within our reach.
About that time I also began efforts to promote Kaineng making a series of posts that were well received, but didn’t seem to net us any growth. So yesterday I posted a video showing the instant queue times in action. That seemed to get people’s attention.
Last night something awesome happened… people actually came to Kaineng to check us out. So many in fact that we hit an actual honest to goodness queue in Kaineng Borderlands.
I fielded a lot of messages from new players last night. I met quite a few of you, grouped with some of you, and spilled blood with even more of you. We took some keeps, defended some keeps, got wiped a few times, and had some pretty fun fights along the way. For one brief moment, Kaineng got to try on our big boy pants and they look marvelous.
By now everyone’s aware of the queue time situation, and the fact that we don’t normally have one. I’m sure people are probably getting tired of hearing about Kaineng too, so I won’t be posting Kaineng posts much (if any) going into the future.
However, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank those courageous individuals and guilds who took the time to visit Kaineng last night and test the waters. You really did make a difference. That was some of the best fights I’ve been in since the NSP matchup started.
I had always feared since I started making these posts that some mega guild would move to Kaineng and take over and ruin the community we had going, but last night we hit the perfect balance of players, teamwork, and community. I hope many of you found a new home on Kaineng.
Here’s a video from part of the Garrison fight last night, made possible in part by a lot of teamwork from native server guilds and a lot of help from our new friends. Thanks to [Nuke], [LaZy], [Dawn] and all of the smaller guilds who are out there every night and have decided not to jump ship. Keep up the good work, and don’t forget to check out the kainengunited.com web site hosted by LaZy if you’re traveling this way. Communication is key.
Cheers!
Fubuki [Nuke]
I respect you guys from Kaineng sticking it out.
However, I have to nominate Devonas Rest for best server. Player for player I would bet we are one of the best servers around in WvW. We will only get better with night support and a larger population. Good luck and see you in EB.
No way to measure that metric.
I played on Devona’s Rest. I moved to Kaineng to help them out due to low population. I liked the DR community, but I would say the Kaineng community is quite different. Not saying it’s better or worse, just different. The extremely small population just has a different feel to it, and it’s a lot of fun.
Glad to hear DR’s still doing well though, spirit wise. You guys need more people too.
mcl, you misunderstood my reply. I wasn’t saying we’re not last. I was saying it’s not funny.
It’s funny how Kaineng ended up last in the server rankings XD
No it’s not.
I am actually going to transfer over there now because of your message. I’m pretty tired of long queues to begin with.
Come on over. If you need a guild, add me to your friend’s list and look me up. I alt hop a lot so no telling what class I’ll be on at any given time.
There are TWO lesser-known facts that make Kaineng the best server in North America.
1) Kaineng is one of only two servers to have never gone backwards in their rankings in North America.
2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcUUAdthbeI
My name is Fubuki, and I approve this ad.
Brought to you by the Kaineng Preservation Society.
“what I think would be a great feature and could potentially make WvWvW better, is some place ‘in game’- where the 3 servers can actually talk to each other, to discuss what’s going on in WvWvW.”
What’s to discuss? Just look at the map. Everything you need to know about what’s going on is on the map.
Nothing good would come from this. The fix for WvW isn’t making backroom deals that the whole server might not agree with or opening the door to having everyone suspect everyone else is a spy causing more tension between guilds on the same server.
I was not able to be on last night. I’m glad to hear Nuke and LaZy joined forces last night though. Overall I find the people on Kaineng tend to work well together which is what allows us to be competitive during prime time against Devona’s Rest and sometimes FC, but as you say there’s a point where all the teamwork in the world can’t compensate for overwhelming odds.
As for Kaineng, a lot of our problem is population, but that’s not the only issue. I suspect there’s a bug in the code that balances WvW population in general. It seems to be affecting all the tiers.
A couple of nights ago we were in Kaineng Borderlands fighting NSP. They clearly had us outnumbered. We had about 25 people total from what I could tell. We had the outmanned buff. My wife decided to join us out there, and she got stuck in a queue!
How do you have an outmanned buff and a queue at the same time, especially with only about 25 people in a zone that’s supposed to hold about 500 (according to the WIKI)?
I read a thread this morning from the #2 server saying they were pushed back to their spawn point they were so outnumbered. The #2 server isn’t lacking population, so how are they outnumbered in WvW? There’s clearly an issue here.
BTW: I love the idea of the alliance if it’s done correctly. I caution though that we can keep it about the server, and not about the guilds or the individuals. It’s very easy to alienate guilds and individuals with a lot of boasting and that divides a community very quickly.
Lately I’ve started to hear individuals boast about their own personal greatness, or hearing guilds gloating about taking SM when there were 20 other people there representing an assortment of guilds working just as hard. It’s a real turn off for people.
Or as Tyler Durden says: "Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You’re the same decaying organic matter as everything else. "
Server first. If we can manage to breathe that mentality into our alliance on Kaineng and keep it that way as more guilds start moving to our server, we’ll be able to keep what makes Kaineng awesome intact.
Just my $0.02. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the battlefield tonight.

tbox:
I might! I do what I want, I do what I want… ;-)
Bring it on! Look up Fubuki when you get here if you need a guild. Bring friends, the more the merrier.
I’m usually on Sensei Zon or Pong more than Fubuki these days. If you see me out there, rez me please.
I have a theory, with absolutely no way to prove it. Let’s call it a series of observations.
According to the Guild Wars Wiki:
“Player limits are not yet finalized, but current estimates are that each of the four maps support up to 500 players, split across the three worlds, for a total upper limit of 2,000 players across the entire WvW match.”
On Kaineng I’ve never seen more than about 30 people (give or take) in any given zone, ever. I always believed this to be an issue of low server population (which is definitely part of it). However, last night something new happened.
Last night there were about 30 of us fighting in Kaineng Borderlands. We APPEARED to be greatly outnumbered, and we had the outmanned buff.
Then my wife decided to join us out there, and we were both shocked when she ended up in queue, granted only for about 45 seconds.
How can you have the outmanned buff and a queue? We appeared to have roughly 30 people in Kaineng Borderlands at the time (which is the most we can usually muster up at prime time), and the zone is supposed to hold roughly 500 people. How are we getting a queue, ever?
When I was playing on DR I’d sometimes get a server queue, only to go out and find when I got in that it appeared we were greatly outnumbered by FC. From Kaineng’s perspective, FC seems like a giant zerg, but when FC moves up a tier, they say they’re greatly outnumbered and can’t even get out of their spawn point. Something seems off here.
Reading these forums, even the #1 and #2 servers going at it, with the #2 server screaming that they are greatly outnumbered in WvW by the #1 server and are backed up all the way to their own spawn point. This is happening all over the place.
It just seems odd to me that in almost every 3 server tier there’s 1 server dominating and two servers that are screaming that they are outmanned.
Could it be that the math determining how many people each server can fit into WvW at the same time is bugged and the matches REALLY ARE that lopsided?
Just an observation. Like I said, no way to prove it, other than my own observations.
