The damage part does not work with Putrid Explosion, it does trigger the poison cloud but not the damage from the trait.
Sigh, was hoping minion builds would be more viable now.

Was fine until last night’s patch.

Pretty sure everything is up to date.
Ever since last patch, when ever I run around my screen is sort of blurry and objects become jagged.
As far as I know all my Graphic Options remained the same. It only occurs when I move, when i stand still it’s normal.
Same for necro’s focus #4 Reaper’s Touch. It gives my jagged horror regen instead of stacking more vulnerability on foes.
Those jagged horrors are so useless and die so fast the regen is completely wasted lol.

We’re just one fine hair away from jumping out of the top floor window of Anet central.
Then resurrecting each other for a Necro-Army that’s riddled with bugs and demands more changes.
What is this res? We have Death Shroud, jumping off tall buildings comes natural.
I run a similar build myself on my engi.
Though with the recent nerfs to confusion it lost somewhat of it’s schwung. So I haven’t played it that much as of late.
When I command I run full pvt gear and switch Elixir gun for Elixir S, ain’t no tank like a full blown engi.

How about necro downed hp bug in wvw and pve……
Didn’t they just find out about this bug like two weeks ago? It probably takes them at least that long just to get fixes put into testing.
Players have been reporting this bug for weeks on end now.
Couple of weeks ago someone made a video showing the bug, only then did Anet replied.
Personally I don’t use Staff Mastery as I prefer Reaper’s Protection.
But classic Anet service: “We fix 1 bug after months and months. In return we provide you with a whole new range of bugs for you to explore and get annoyed about.”
When a post about warrior is made they jump right on it.
When it’s necro, we can all go screw ourselfs.
Expect a fix in 6 to 9 months.
Releasing more bugged content for pve and fixing underwater skills are far more important.
How about at least lowering AC dmg vs pets, minions and other summons?
They just insta die when running through it. Makes them even more useless.
Funny how thieves tell ppl to “learn to play”, when in fact 99% of them just backstabs and spams heartseeker.
In light of the recent buffs they made to spirits I made this spirit focused build for GvG fights in wvw.
Idea is to be quite tanky while providing support with the spirits, without sacrificing too much dps. With 25 stacks of perception and Maintenance Oil I’ll have round 45% crit chance.
Healing Spring provides a 15 sec water field for blast finisher heals and condition removal. With Runes of Melandru and Lemongrass Poultry Soup food I’ll have -65% condition duration.
As far as pets go; bear is used for the tanky pet and condition removal F2 skill, wolf is used to interrupt with fear.
Dunno if I should change any of the bows to another weapon set (maybe short bow for gs?) or if they are fine the way it is.
Any pointer / improvements are most welcome.
EDIT: This build will only be used for GvG battles, 15-20 ppl. Not for blob fights.
Sure my friend, like your screenshot show. Primetime discuss is pointless, since the beginning everyone know tick of primetimes always move, it’s never representative.
on all serves, sometimes there is mass beginners, sometimes guilds cannot enter, sometimes there is mass good leaders, sometimes no leader, sometimes people eat, etc. On ALL servs. Arguing on “primetimes” with country cultural and hour variation, is totally useless !

We all know viz zombies have a 24/7 prime time. But for us normal folks prime time would be somewhere in the evening.
And of course viz was first, we hardly had ppl in the bl so viz does what it does best then; pvd golem rush a map.
Yet in eb where you actually faced opposition you get steamrolled.
You should get out of those keeps and towers more often when ppl are about, and not just to rush a map when there is hardly anyone on.

That was last Saturday. Though it it a fair and global representation of how “good” the majority of viz actually is when faced with opposition.

It heals me for about 1.3k with 3 illusions with that build (360 healing power).
Wondering if I should give up clone on dodge for Illu persona (latter almost doubles the heal)
Really looking for a build that can keep me alive without sacrificing too much dmg (don’t like glass cannon builds for it being too squishy for my taste, but like the dmg). If you have any suggestions, feel free. I hardly play mesmer so I’m quite clueless on them.

Yes, cause that is what we need, extra hp on our minions so they annoy us longer with being totally and utterly useless. Those minions spaz out more than someone who can count till potato.
Remove the aoe cap and in turn reduce overall dmg of the aoe skills.
Also get rid of those ridiculous golems. They are no way proper siege and any nitwit can for a blob with 10+ golems and rush the map while the others are asleep/outmanned.
The only tactic viable in wvw is:
- Blob up
- Stack buff
- Hide behind obstacle
- Rush enemy blob
Add to that the horrendous skill lag and you get tired of wvw pretty darn fast.

Get rid of this kittening 5-man aoe limit system and reduce overall skill dmg.
Effective and easy solution for these stupid and boring blobs.Not quite .Considering that now the servers can’t process a 5 man aoe limit ,imagine what would happen with virtually no limit.I am pretty positive that the aoe cap was not intended for balancing the gameplay as much as it was meant to reduce stress on the servers in the 1st place.With 100 targets aoe limit the 100×5 target multiplier on both sides will become 100×100 on both sides wich is 20 times more than in the present.I could be terrible wrong though ,my math skills can be easily outmached by a monkey .
I got the idea from Ragnarok Online.
They have no aoe limit and playing World Of Emperium (their equivalent of wvw) is much more dynamic, requires actual tactics and a hell of a lot more fun than blobbing in gw.

For the love of God, make it one that reflects projectiles.
Necro is the only class that doesn’t have a single skill/trait that enables it.

Not with this patch, but they are planning to add them at some point.

They also said in november/december it’d take them a year to fully roll out ascended gear through the game.

Just an FYI, WvW players complain about everything and are never satisfied.
In order for them to be grateful, they first must receive something decent to be grateful for.
Either they don’t get an update, or the updates they get are crap compared to all the pve updates.
For those of us stuck at work could someone give an explanation of what they actually added? Aka how many badges and how much gold it costs, and what kind of crappy skins they added?

Seems like this update has screwed up the stowed version of my shield yet again (just like last month’s update).
It’s no longer see-through when stowed.
Yup, I can’t queue for any of the maps and neither can my friends.
If this is intended it’s the most kitten change up to date.

Thieves are op enough, stop QQ for more buffs just cause stealth is getting fixed.
I want to gear my warrior up for wvw and I came up with this build:
Utility: Adrenal Health, For Great Justice, Balance Stance, Frenzy, Signet Of Rage.
This would be for roaming. In zerg fights I’d swap out the mace for an axe.
Would this be a decent build or do I have to make any changes somewhere?

So let me get this straight; engi got yet another nerf, Deployable Turrets still broken, turrets still useless and yet thieves with perma stealth, 2 shotkill backstab/heartseaker spammers don’t get nerfed.

Build theory seems rather nice. I do wonder how you get 28k-30k HP and 2500-2600 toughness with 1100 (+/-) condition damage in spvp with shaman gear, or any gear for that matter. I can never get near 28k hp, I get around 19k. The toughness and condition dmg are obtainable, just not the hp.

I think he meant “2400+ armor”, not toughness. In the vid, he has about 1500 toughness, 2500 armor.
