Man, there is no ‘never blobbing’.
There is only action and reaction.
What we can do is TRY not to trigger that reaction.
What I can tell you 100% is that most WvW guilds on SFR like running solo. They will team up sometimes to beat the odds, or when attacking same opbjectives.
PuG trains are different than guilds tho. I guess you can call it a blob is it reaches some proportions.
PuG trains are a necessity tho on maps like Home BL on EB. We have some very good pikachus commanders on SFR ( Hjerim, Wemil, Alien, Gondova , etc ) who will run you over with a PuG karma train.
That’s the good thing about SFR : PuG trains and guild raids backing each other up.
It would also be interesting to hear about those hating Deso for nightcapping now that SFR is nightcapping AND morningcapping… unless you really believe that you can tick at 450+ due to “skill”… heh.

There was some good action on Borderlands even till past midnight unlike last nights reset although where I went the numbers were uneven at times until late cause so many people was stacked on EB, we were caught by surprised by Kodash’s numbers late at night you almost managed to capture our whole Borderlands but I hope you learned from that moment you were inside our Garrison Lord room to contest the waypoint no matter what.
It is pretty strange to find it pretty dead at night without zergs running around and seeing orange swords, we’ve been night capping this weekend with a couple of people on Borderlands afaik but I don’t think it will continue during the week after one all nighter it’s not that fun without resistance, tbh after being night capped for weeks in T1 I think the amount of points you can gain from just PvD is crazy and I myself wake up so tired in the afternoon!
Now you understand while most of SFR went to rest/pubbing/enjoying the weekend after 23:00 . Points are meaningless, PvD is meaningless.

Your answer has nothing to do with the common accepted understanding that interrupting a GvG on purpose means that you are disrespecting both guilds involved.
Points have no meaning in this game as long as you don’t aim for T1, so don’t bring up that excuse either.
Screenshots of PvD actions at 02:30 in the morning are the best way to show who the stronger server is. Any WvW player knows that beating down doors is the ultimate challenge in this game.

It doesnt really matter how the player’s rig is set up. He’s using the zoom-bug/hack/whateva in a way that was not intended by Anet. Defensive siege is rendered useless.
Another unfortunate consequence of the AC buff patch is the sheer amount of zoomhacks that people are reporting daily.
Seems like the new and fast way to deal with the ac head-ache is to just simply use the all-so-popular zoomhack in order to remove the defensive ACs in a keep.
Reports keep pouring in from T1 and T2 servers and I am sure many others are in the same situation. Siege wars has never been so dull and annoying.
Arena need to do something fast before zoomhacking will be part of the meta.
And honesty I can’t blame the hackers THAT much. I cry like a baby seal each time a commander wants to attack a keep these days.

Props to PHX who we fought on SFR BL with our small CoN + PUGs group.
You are many, but definately coordinated. Even tho we wiped, I think we put up a good fight.
SFR, even during the “flood” of people coming i never had more than 15 min queue. Yeah the skillag is an issue but eh.
We had 3+ hours queue for at least one week before guilds transferring away.
We had days with 2/3 guilds stuck in queue while SFR BL was ticking for +5
Anyway, no need to talk about the past anymore. What’s done is done.

Theres two major issues with the new arrow-carts, and Anet shot themselves in the leg:
1) They indirectly buffed the side with more coverage( like this was needed ), because they have the advantage of more T3 structures which they now can fill with imba arrowcarts.
2) They encourage zerging even more since there’s no way a small roamer group can take a paper tower now with 2/3 arrowcarts in it.

@grok: who knows, maybe in time sfr will be competitive again, you never know where the bandwagon hops rofl. Those guilds that left sfr cuz of drama and whatnot…are the cancer of the game, if anything, after anet, they’re to blame for this kitten we’re in.
we can see some nice zerg from SFR, well organized, i saw the ZDs bus yesterday it was amazing ;-) you guys should have more guilds like that, and for sure the challenge will be great for us ! Trust me, in Vizunah we prefer to have big fights than take all the map without any opponents !

Ah you see… we DID have those guilds. ZDs is our flagship nowadays. Nothing but respect for those crazy Russians for still sticking to SFR after all this madness.
As long as we have guilds like that to carry on the SFR legacy , we will always bounce back . Don’t count us out for too long!

Wow “BEST guilds in the world” … i impressed. So I Wonder why a server with medium population was plagued that much by free transferts, i mean it’s a chance to have reinforcement, GW2 loose players everyday so why see it as a problem ? it’s fresh meat, new recruits they come to you because you were the “BEST” euro server and they willing to fight with the “BEST WvW guilds in the world” . It’s a true question, not a trolling.
It’s trolling all the way, since you and all of VS WvW population on these forums know very well what the free transfers meant to SFR. I’m not even bothering to answer that question.

The fist one called Last Stand , got crushed by SFR, but it was one of the best WvW weeks ever!.
The second one was EXACTLY when free transfer mockery hit SFR and Grand Cross saw that SFR is not able to log their guilds into WvW anymore to counter the VS hordes.

You have dozen of screenshot, video showing you how everybody, included yourselves, zerg now, and you still come here arguing that your playstyle was different. No … not different.
1st thing to do to solve the problem is to admit this fact. TBH the discussion is not about SFR, it’s a dead server now, we are looking forward for the next challenger. Déso might rebuild in time, they just need to breath a bit, and if they are okay to stop zerging on BL, maybe their good willing will be noticed. I’m not all VZ i can’t decide for all my mates. Me and my guild used to play in guild group on BL so it will not change anything at our “playstyle” anyway.
Where were you a month ago when we had on each BL 2 or 3 SFR guild CTAs , owning the kitten out of you.? We were virtually begging VS to come out in the open and have field battles with our guilds.

Water fields already were nerfed, in a sideways fashion. Blast finish heals had an unlimited target cap like warrior shouts and a few others a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, back then elementalists could blast finish every dodge with no cooldown in every attunement. Talk about spike healing…..
But, no, don’t nerf them further. Spike aoe dps and CC is their counter, or siege. Play and counterplay should be encouraged, not just dps racing.
By the time the water fields are even visible and the AOE casts started the blasts will already be about to happen. The team using it has the further advantage of knowing it is about to be placed for a much quicker reaction time.
Again…hate to repeat myself but: get better. If you are WAITING for a waterfield to be visible before doing anything , you’re doing it wrong.
Tip: watch enemy movement all the time. Predict regrouping and disrupt it.
Have you ever seen good guilds to it? Watch some ZDs, RG and VOTF footage and learn.
Demanding a nerf because YOU get outplayed is really the wrong way to do it.
We are all aware that the zerg fashion rised up to reach a point of stupidity and nobraining never seen in a PvP game from ALL side.
We are actually discussing, on french forum, about how it is possible to manage forces and make a “common and admited” rule for all servers in or who will access to T1EU that should be something like :
CBE as a free bus fight map were ppl that like big fight should play freely and BL as more smaller scaled map for guild groups, GvG and duels.
I’m not sure that everybody will follow that idea, but i hope that will be possible. So everybody will join whatever kind of game he like and everybody will be very happy.
So after month of PuG zerging , 24/7 sleepless, coverage 80+ players from 3 different guilds all hugging each other, you finally decide to change playstile?

Whoever thinks that the situation of EU T1 shows the state of a healthy MMO is delusional.
Feel free to transfer for a week at least on SFR or Deso to check it out.
ArenaNet started this and is continuing to support this sorry state. Unbelievable.
Conspiracy theory: They will not change the glicko system and periodically continue the ‘free transfer to a good WvW server’ in order to capitalise on the money payed by ppl. leaving the impacted servers.
We’re getting less and less every day. People still sticking with SFR and Deso have almost given up hope on dropping tiers.
Those that did not transfer have taken a break from the game.
You can count on the fingers of one hand the commanders that actually still bother doing something on SFR, I am sure Deso is in the same situation.
The current situation is slowly killing two servers while the third is farming map completion achievements on level 5 alts.
Prime time comes, you manage to get enough ppl to be competitive in one single BL, but then you approach a T3 tower and find yourself facing 5-6 superior ACs.
You manage to take a keep or two but then people already log out due to having to wake up early in the morning. Come next day: same story again.
Using a water field heals in group combat effectively is one of the few good tactics left in open field battle. It makes or breaks a GvG battle and is a deciding factor in balanced out battles.
T2 would be too strong for Deso and SFr right now, I’d say.
Sadly the top two English servers have lost that many guilds/players that we’d prolly fit in somewhere in T4 / T5
All Deso and SFR can hope right now that they fall fast, and that the player/guild leaking will be minimal until we can stabilise again.
In other words, I agree with the VS collapse due to boringness theory. There’s literally no other server in the EU that is looking forward to T1. This is a sad state of things.
