BB recovered 9k on SFR in one single night. Whining about the SFR zerg while bringing out the PvD army after 02:00 AM is comedy gold.

I feel bad for Deso, they clearly deserve their 2nd place in this match-up.

Yeah, we enjoyed the siege weapon pissing contest with EXG ( and ohers ) in BB borderlands island and southern supply camps.

SFR was represented by small guilds and randoms on that map, which made it even more ‘interesting’

Highlight: screaming in caps at randoms to pan their camera upwards in order to see the siege deployed on the ruin tops

Will SFR head for T1?
Will Desolation manage to recover from it’s RUINs ?
Will BB cover all maps over night with tasty paella?

On SFR we have still a lot of work before being competitive for T1 , most of our community is aware of that.

Next week we will see against BB how we can deal with heavy offtime capping. We STILL haven’t sorted out that…

We have a very good prime-time presence , yes. But just look at late-night and early afternoon, ER and Deso can sing kumba-ya together without SFR breaking the party.

We need to improve our off-time presence A LOT!

It has been a much better week, but I’m confused by the big deso blob who have been farmed stupid at sm sw outer for the past 90 minutes (including quite a few well known supposed guild groups) buy a handful of sfr in defence. I mean i dont mind my lowbie alt has gained 2+ levels in past hour just from defence and kills but really how hard is it to get a clue?

Props to IRON for the SFR homeland battles. Very organised, and very nice defensive action from their part @ Eyrie.
But something dissapoints me tho: why didn’t you guys even try to take our garrison? It was looking like swiss cheese most of the time , since Elona was consistantly attacking it from west?
Just hiding in that keep doing, well, nothing constructive except wiping our , I admit, bad attempts at retaking it.
Expected a bit more from you ;-)

There’s already a myriad of other MMOs with small BG’s. Play sPvP if you wan to show off your ‘skill’ .

matchup: SFR/Kodash/Riverside

I will not mention what side is abusing this to avoid unnecessary flames, but apparently a whole zerg can insta res at a contested spawn/teleport point in a keep.

There is no way to cap it since enemies keep spawning and spawning. Not sure, but they might have the invulnerability buff too.

Anyone else encountered this?

The amount of hack/exploits is WvW is staggering and is frustrating the hell out of honest players.

Surprisingly one-sided match up until now…

Just have a one week ban from WvW after transfering to a new server . Is that too much to ask?

They sleep early because Xaoc is not hand-holding them at that time.

Im am sure SFR ( without a PvD crew ) got to T2 by sucking…

Yes T2 definately hurt us . We were also unlucky to fight Arborstone, imo the best WvW server all-around.

But we’re slowly gathering momentum again…

We faced Arborstone. They nightcapped, but they were also GOOD! The difference between Xaoc and MoS is… immeasurable .

Ah well, you just need to understand that us SFR have a huge frustration with not being able to do anything against such tactics.

What bothers me the most is that new guilds on BT, like yours, get all high and mighty, when you actually benefit from fully upgraded keeps when you log in. All you do is defend during prime time, while medium sized server like us do the uphill battle.

This is why SFR is so proud of winning in prime time, you need to understand that also.

All the efforts of SFR from Monday and Tuesday evening…and then this happens…again.

Today evening and Sunday evening showed that SFR is alive and kicking during prime-time. Slowly signing off now, Blacktide, feel free to tell XOAC to have their alarm clocks ready at 05:00 am

We look foward to tomorrow evening when we’ll have to do the uphill battle – YET AGAIN- and recap all the upgraded towers.

Yes, yesterday evening we were like in ‘good old times’ . Medium pop. server, but we controlled 70% of the maps until after midnight!

Wiping constanlty due to not seeing 50+ zergs that is in our face

Despite what the patchnotes say, this issue is NOT fixed. Arena, please stop deceiving you customers with false information in the patchnotes, WvW is a mocker with invisible enemies and Orbs getting hacked left and right!

Any battle with more than 15 players in it is basically bugged. You can see spells being cast , and particle effects, but not the players.

Unbelievable…

Most SFR guilds have given up on any serious WvW since today. We have virtually no queue on any maps, this hasn’t happened since betas launched.

You talk about rose tinted glasses? I really do not want to start a flame-war here. But SFR has one of the best prime-time performances out there. It is the ONLY reason we climbed into T3. Our night-presence is rather low, everyone on the server acknowledges this. It has gotten a bit better in the past week due to US guild Apollo transferring over.

Please have a look at these screenshots, they were all taken in EU prime time ( between 20:00 and 24:00 CET ) . I have no intention of faking anything, these are honest screenshot posted on our Community website in order to keep people updated about what’s going on:

We will win this round, as we won the others by simply being better at prime-time. Come T2 however, we will probably lose because you need a very well organised night-crew in those brackets. But hey! I will be very proud of my server if we manage to win in prime-time against T2 servers…it’s what matters after all.

SFR has a very WvW oriented mindset, even tho it’s a medium server, PuGs and Guilds have a good tactical awareness of what’s going on and help push us up in the ladders.

No doubt we will meet again, and we look forward to that. Hopefully you will have sorted your issues with guild leaving and low morale by then. Looking forward to another good fight!

Many on SFR have given up WvW due to the invisibility bug. Really not fun fighting invisible enemies.

Too bad, this matchup is really great!

This must be done ASAP ArenaNet, until you can actually fix the client/server issues that are enabling this kind of cheating.

This week , is just ruined for the majority of servers due to individuals abusing the well-known fly hack.

I don’t think that anyone would be upset if you disable the orbs ( or remove their bonuses) until you fix the issue. This is the simplest way to work-around this situation at the moment.

Do NOT let this escalate, because it will only get worse when more players learn how to use the hack!

Word on the street is that the guy hacking transferred to Kodash…and stole one Orb from Seafarer’s , about 1 hour ago. It mysteriously teleported away from our Garrioson!

So watch out Kodash…

Please enlighten me how can I break this Stun/CC/Poly…whatever it is. 10 seconds of walking around in a chicken suit is frustrating and really not healthy for my keyboard!

Because Moa Bird = Death in 99% of cases. At least let me die with dignity. Just put an “Instant Pulverizer” elite skill for the Mesmer and save us all from this humiliation.
