Two things happened:

1) Deso being able to have a lot more folks in WvW in off hours than usual ( for whatever reasone )
2) SFR is in UBER-SLACK mode because 85% of the server thinks that we already won the League and joins WvW only for karma trains.

TBH, I’m quite happy we’re getting pushed a bit. A bucket of cold water never hurts…

1) Deso farms SFR garrison with the whole server blob for serveral hours on Friday.
2) Meanwhile BB tick like bosses holding most objectives + ruins
3) Deso continues farming SFR garrison
4) SFR decides to have some Friday afternoon fun and pushes Deso a bit
5) A Deso player decides to stop tunnel-visioning the karma train for one second and presses ‘M’
6) ???
7) #desotears

PS: Ah good, too see that nothing has changed and Darya still crying on 3 separate forums about the same topic. German reliability, right there…

What is your opinion on people that flee a fair duel once they realize they will lose? thieves and mesmers vanishing and warriors flying away are probably the main culprits here.

I solo roam a lot and I see a lot of people not just fleeing the duel once they start losing, but trying to aggro guards or even bring their friends into a 1vs1 duel.

All is fair in love and pvp, or is it cowardly?

What’s your opinion on condition-meta specced solo roamers that are otherwise completely useless to their server, but like to target and single out group-play specced folks running back to their guild / zerg?

If you NEED it so badly, just log in at 04:00 am or something and beg your commander to attack blue keep.

With the recent transfers to your server, there should be enough numbers.

Can’t go wrong with warrior, guardian or elementalist ( altho the latter is more and more turning into a water-field bot that commanders rage on if he misses a regroup )

Everything pales in comparison to the old SFR – VS rivalry.

-> lost a few guilds

-> is subject to a huge 1v2 operation organized by its current enemies (SFR, Riverside). Not a simple 1v2 that’s an obvious strategy in a given map at a given time and doesn’t imply any communication, but an all-maps organized 1v2 (yesterday evening was obvious)
-> is subject to DDOS attacks on its TS servers (vizu-wide and guild servers)
-> is facing servers that seem to make a wider use of cheats (so-called “dezoom-hack”, “fly hack”, …). Regarding this last issue, and given that the tournament is going on, it would be nice if a few GMs could survey WvW so they can actually see cheaters and ban them. (GMs would do this at least until the end of tournament or until bugs are fixed)

Yep, i think the reasons for VS being where they are atm are various, but I can only chuckle at the 2v1 accusations.

In S1 SFR was fighting a new server called Pikunah Square. But people tend to forget quickly…

Uh…is that how an open WvW battle between 2 guilds on a top NA server looks like?

Small Scale is not possible against blobb servers like vizunah or sfr. Everytime we ran with a 15 man guild sfr blobb wiped us with 50 people. Everytime I tried to make a decent 1 vs 1 against a sfr.. 4 of his friends joined him and killed me 5 vs 1. Last but not least many times after such 5 vs 1 or 50 vs 15 sfr kids jumped and danced on the dead. No honor. Disgusting.

Vizunah blobbs too, but I never saw such arrogant behavior at their server.

There is a guy complaining in DE forums that he was camped at spawn by 4 SFR.

but the “just” make all the difference: Canadian doesnt want to come (a warning msg on a QC guild: We do not care of french guilds e-dramas) because before Vizunah french guilds were divided a lot more, and had many dramas. I understand them.

Then the other speaking french guys are swiss, belgian etc, but same timezone. Understand i find good that SFR is strong, as a WvW focused euro server. What i find insane is that you continue to make them come, again and again, and thoses numbers are made to counter imaginary canadians. Or just to win. But stacking too much people to create a serv like JQ for example is just so overkill. It will just make us sleep less… and imbalance.

If it’s too easy for you and too hard for every others servers, the league will be ridiculous to play. My last hope is that new players come to help us, and Vizunians wake up, because yeah it’s not good ingame atm.

Tequatl is the new WvW meta

The new lag issues is directly related to the number of players in WvW and seems to be caused by the server calculating the buff for each player and NPC.

More players in WvW = more calculation = more lag

Just to clarify 7th as far as we know is leaving Kodash they stayed only because of the match up and gvgs.We respect them and I hope it is mutual. The gvg was close but we lost it no drama there. But raids are completely deferent thing… We know you raid 10-20 guys so we raid in a bit higher numbers.

I have little respect for guilds that run 35 or so and claim they are the boss on a forum. It’s spray and pray zerging where bads can hide quite comfortably inside the ball. I think deep down the real Zds feel the same, hence the name change to Zbs when you guys are blobbing. It prevents people thinking less of Zds right?

Anyways, the challenge stands, if Zds want to 20 vs 20 on Thursday (We don’t care if you have orbs). VII are game.

And obviously others should have respect for you because you are beating them in a meta-game that has zero positive impact on the servers performance .

WvW and GvG are unrelated. GvG bring zero contribution to a servers performance.

Being wiped in open field WvW environment means that your adversary has the open hand on capturing a keep.

Wiping another team in GvG means that you have the bigger kitten.

It’s not ZDs problem that you chose to run in numbers that are rendering you useless in anything but a deathmatch meta.

Well if you guard dollies ,you most certainly will meet us. Killing dollies and capping supplycamps is a roamers labour in WvW. If you were to be fair and objective, you would also admit that this is not the only thing we do. But if you want to complain about two people ganking your dolly and you, you should maybe rather stick to the zerg. Really, what do you expect?

Throw in some knight accessories if you think that you are good at avoiding damage.

0/x/30/30/x build is the only way to go when commanding.

As a commander you main focus is movement and calling out bombs/hammerstuns/heals, NOT damange.

You will use staff a lot more than any other guardian, since it lets you focus on the things above.

Skill lag has NOTHING to do with stacked or non stacked server.

- Each WvW map has a certain limit, so even on stacked server there’s only a given amount of people on the map.
- Skill lag is present on medium servers also, if there’s a 3way fight in SM for example, or a zerg vs. zerg fight in a keep.

Yes please, increase drop chance so that more PvE players queue up for WvW.
