Quaggan rush was bugged like this even before HoT. It would frequently not give guild credit. There’s another rush that also bugs out all the time. It was in Charr lands, but I can’t remember which one exactly.. possibly the chicken one.

Updated, we didn’t get guild neither personal rewards for Quaggan Rush :/

I’ve experienced the same lag / framedrops. however I’m not crashing.

You using the 64 bit client? how much RAM your system has?

I totally forgot the Guild Puzzle haha, we did Proxemics and had similar results as you did Skull. (Updated now)

I love short and simple, so here we go!

Guild Trek:
Super easy, blob everyone participating on ONE of the targets. After that 1 player “Interacts”. This will give credit to all that stacked on the point, spread out and grab the other points!

Everyone who stood on the blob point will receive personal credit once trek completed. (worked with 30+ players on 1 point).

Guild Race / Rush
- Ghost Wolf Rush
Pretty simple, sometimes bugs out at final flags (just run trough, no jumping etc). If doesn’t deform instantly just run over it multiple times. Run as far as the old chest normally appeared!

- Quaggan Rush.
Bugged, none of us got rewards and neither did we get Guild Rewards for completing it. Also were able to “join in” on another guild rush :/ so failed without having our flag / tag on the rush.

Once everyone done, you can move away from the map BEFORE timer hits 0, when event timer hits 0 you’ll be rewarded with both Guild + Personal Credit

Guild Bounty
No problems, works as before.

Guild Challenge
Southsun Crab Toss works perfectly, however no ways to co-op with another guild. Probably after the Enhanced Squad UI

Guild Puzzle
Players seem randomly getting rewards, some do – others don’t. I think it might have to do something with players “Interacting” or not, as I lead – I didn’t complete any objectives and didn’t receive rewards.

Will test this on the next run. Guild Rewards are given!

WvW Capture
As megaserver guild, we managed to get 20 people to the same server, captured a camp and got credit. no other experiences about this.

PvP Stronghold
Was bugged in the first week, nobody got credit.

PvP Conquest
Only personal rewards to team that finished first, as that de-activated event. Multiple teams had to do it after each other to each get personal rewards.

That were basically my experiences, of a PvE guild that runs Missions twice a week.

Last Note:
Guild Portal isn’t really effective, still places parties across multiple maps. – Hope Squad UI will fix this.

I used to have the same problem. It turned out to be a mouse hardware problem.

The right mouse button began to wear out, so it lost contact sometimes. Clicking was always ok, but holding down for some time period was not any more.

Same here, replacing my mouse fixed the issue

On my christmas list would be the ability to do the Daily Activities with Guildies Alone.

Imagine 10 guildies doing Crab Toss, Sanctum Sprint, Southsun Survival, Keg Brawl together whilst being on TeamSpeak?

Wouldn’t even care if rewards were given out to the winning players or not, would just be an awesome mini-game to have fun with (And hear the losers suffer)

So a guild purely for girls, or a guild that has a healthy attitude towards girls?

So, is 8gb without virtual memory enough for gw2? Barely if you include your system required memories. So, if want to run without virtual memory, is better to have at least 16gb.

I run 16 GB of RAM and only with the latest 64 bit.exe + running around HoT made me go over 50% RAM usage. (55% to be exact)

Before that it hovered around 44%. So from my experiences your statement of “barely” is an exaggeration.

Nothing specific for Guild Halls

Someone from your guild must have been in a wrong instance, and activated the Rush on that server. That’s why you’ve gotten the message. Next time find out who it is and transfer him to YOUR server instead :/

You can’t join another guild for race, as progress is guild bound – means the other guild finishes won’t count for your 15

The thing is, as I’ve also been upset about this.

The Core game you paid full bucks for in the beginning, is now worth NOTHING.
Why? Because the core has gone F2P. Nobody pays for the Core anymore.

With that said, you only buy for Heart of Thorns.

You see the picture? Even if you never owned a GW2 Account, if you buy HoT you’ll basically get: Core F2P Account + HoT Full Account.

Resulting in an account that can play both Core + HoT without any restrictions.

My main has all the possible crafting options, as I wanted to see them all back then :P

However, only 2 are high lvled – the rest are as low as 1-10.

Any way to remove the low levels, as it looks pretty stupid on my login screen

Character Select Screen, hover over a character and you can see what crafting it has unlocked.

Hi all,

I did some small group test, gonna test it on large group which is my guild official missions day later on.

The followings are test descriptions and results

1. Partied and spread around the trek target’s map. – No credits
2. Partied and stand near the marker and one person press – Credited
3. Not partied and stand near the marker and one person press – Credited

Apparently, as long you stand close to it, you get credit for it.

Did Trek today with my guild, I moved all 30 members to one of the Trek spots and had them all stand Inside the Circle. I was the only one who “Interacted”. After that we spread out and claimed the rest, even those who only stood inside circle got their personal rewards.

As title says,

Some members got em, others didn’t.

I wasn’t able to “do” anything in Proxemics, maybe that was part of the problem?

Also players who disconnect seem to have the problem they can’t get back to where they DC’ed.

Maybe it’s an option to “Open” an area permanently once completed, like the first Door Event of Proxemics? As it’s instanced, none else will be able to take advantage of such.

I disagree, it’s a matter of players not having:
- leveled their weaponsmith to 400
- Done HoT story till step 11&13
- Not mastered enough in certain masteries.

To me this is all a bit much to request from 1 individual players for progress that’s guild wide.

The Quartz are the least of the concerns to me, the only thing is that you might have players who own quite a bit – but don’t have the other requirements.

So they’re just sitting their being useless untill the player decides to do what it takes to get the remaining stuff.

I just wish for a system where these players can just donate their Quartz without the need for the weaponsmith and sparks aswell.

These individual materials are useless, untill a player can craft it alone. (as you can’t trade Quartz/Sparks)

It seems that way, but the arena had 2 weeks left whilst not being red :/

These Tools are seriously gated behind a massive wall.

1 player needs to collect them all, and still have 400 weaponsmithing to craft one.
Otherwise the items alone are still useless.

I’d vow for a system where the requirements can be deposited individually into the treasurer, like the following.

for mining rate 3 that would look like:
- 65 Charged Quartz Crystals
- 65 Ley Line Sparks
- 65 Orichalcum Mining Picks
- 3250 Bloodstone Dust.

Even if we still had to craft them, someone could just do this near the Mining Dude? Maybe add another tab to his UI?

This way EVERYONE can gather stuff for their guild, and one player can refine them.
I don’t understand the point in having many individuals to have it all.

Also double click any of your guilds decoration on the Guild Panel will let you enter Deco mode aswell

Most curious thing happened, my FPS counter from nVidia Shadowplay doesn’t work in the 64 bit version.

I just checked and it’s still working on the 32 bit version :P

Experience is equal to the number of upgrades you’ve bought for your guild hall.
(Tavern, Market, Arena, War Room, Etc)

I hate to say it but if you’re having to beg for donations/crafting materials then your guild isn’t on the same page as you in regards to working together on the same goal. You should obviously care about the growth of your guild but do it at your own pace.

Exactly, a Guild Hall is build by excited players who want to upgrade it and use it.
If nobody is intrested in getting like a Guild Arena, none will donate their precious PvP Potions :/

All you can do is get people involved on the upgrade process, discuss which ones you’d like and what they want / expect from the guild – and hope they’ll get more excited after that to work with you

I also made a suggestion about this a while ago, by just linking your Bank with the Treasurer (like how crafting works these days).

So as long as it’s on the character or in your bank, you can select it to donate.

Just a thought.

If the current system is designed for 500 players. and your guild is 100 on roster.
Would you agree if materials come at a 20% cost of normal, BUT with aetherium being mined 500% slower? aka 5 minutes on first tier for 1

You paid to get a “useless map with nothing on it”.
You pay if you’d like to get “usefull” stuff on it.

You pay like any other guild, no matter the size.

So because my guild isn’t filled with 500 members gives me the right to ask for a discount? :/ We are big enough but nowhere near 500.

It’s quite a challenge but that comes from what kind of guild you’re running.

I just don’t see how scaling is an effective option, because it’s exploitable and who knows what kind of guild you will turn at a later stage? Maybe you become a 500 man guild and gotten the hall super cheap.

You think it’s worse that you will get your rewards a few minutes later whilst you will ALWAYS get your guild reward too? :/

What happened?! I earned this title by spending 5k hours in GW1 and it’s just been removed together with all things associated with it…

Guild trek only reward the one who found and interacted with the spot. It is really need to be changed, as it is hard to give reward all the members of a medium or big sized guild who joined guild mission.

My guild accidently had 3 people on the spot when grabbing 1 Trek Spot, they all got Personal rewards – even the one that didn’t touch / activate the spot.

Once everyone is done, you can freely leave the map – rewards are given when timer hits 0 in your Mission Roster. Both personal and Guild are rewarded this way.

Everyone who participates get them, even if multiple players find the same location in Guild Trek. Same goes for Race/Rush

My guild did all, except for the WvW Mission Slot – got guild favor and everyone who participated got their personal rewards.

Believe it is said you need the Guild Hall Armor upgrade or such

Yes you can, my guild completed it 10 mins before time and we forced everyone out of the map to see what happened.

Result:
Guild Credit + everyone who finished got personal Credit.

Really happy with these changes
