Same as “PvE” merchants, off when the event is done, but maybe a week more to trade last items, but I won’t bet on that.
And what stat will you choose ? Berserker will be the better DPS option.
And what about set Nickname ? They don’t show on guild chat ? I never tried so I can’t say, but maybe it works
Wintersday merchants will stay 1 week or 2 I guess, maybe, but they sell some crap anyway.
The glory vendor is not a part of wintersday, and Anet said they’ll tell us when this glory vendor (and the glory) will disapear.
You have to choose the stats at first use, if I’m not wrong.
They are not (yet), there are already some topics about that, but no one knows why, and Anet didn’t communicate about that.
Just like the reason why fractals have no armor repair points, so players buy repair canisters.
Welcome to coin mall operations that are run by NCSoft.
Yeah ‘cause you can’t relog to repair in LA… Everyone do this, and you can do it even if you started the fractal.
Gear is not nerfed, builds are.
It’s normal yeah.
First fractal : Aquatic Ruins, Swampland, Urban Battlegrounds, Uncategorized
Second fractal : Uncategorized, Snowblind, Urban Battlegrounds, Molten Furnance, Cliffside
Third fractal : Aetherblade, Volcanic, Thaumanova Reactor, Underground Facility, Cliffside
There is weapon, no trinkets yet.
Show/hide toggle, and an icon like attenuement would be nice if devs want us to see wich kit is used.
There is an other talk option to the npc for the jade weapon, I don’t know why, but it’s intented, it was on a previous patchnote I think.
Hello. I saw this on the patchnote :
- Tab targeting now prioritizes players over NPCs (including minions; mesmer clones are an exception) and champions over everything else.
- Deselecting a target will reset the tab-targeting history.
First I though it was great, no more searching for legendarie in keep, or struggling with spirit ranger in sPvP, but then…
I use a key to get “Nearest Enemy”, “C” like in GW1, but now, if a champio is at 1200 range and mobs are between champ and me, I get champ EVERY time, so I assume the tab targetting is working great, but now, we can’t target the nearest enemy, with the custom key.
Is it intended ? Is it hard to keep nearest enemy and tab with separate script ? Or it’s a bug and it will be fixed ?
Depend what you want by support, guardian at range is bad, maybe you need to range, but mostly, you stay at melee. Running around mob auto attacking with you staff doesn’t help.
So, if you want to bet at range and support your team, Ele can be good with a staff, and you can put fire/water field on the group while you’re doing dmg, can help with auras, etc. Engee can be a great support, might stacking/elixir gun.
But keep in mind, if you want to range, don’t stay at 1200, stay close to your teamates, not in melee, but close enough to benefit from boons and give boons to them.
10 skills it far enough. Nothing to do about complexity, you can change them when you want anyway. You don’t have to think about the whole intance.
You didn’t play gw1, you don’t know how was the complexity with 8 skills.
Personally I think you need at least 20 skills per character to really have deep and interesting counter-play.
Or 8 like we had in GW1, and there, we really had to think what skill we have to bring with us because we couldn’t change them in instance.
Now you can take whatever you like, you can change them depending the fight.
The time when we have to think about all the dungeon and not only one fight is over.
In Prophecies we had 200 skills per profession. So with the dual-professions we got 400 skills to choose from. Right now we have 5 set skills per weapon, 3 Elites, and about 40 utility skills. I think Prophecies had more.
Now I counted. There is about 80 skills per profession, not 200. (Core + Prophecies)
So yeah, a little more on prophecies than on GW2. I counted 78 skill for warrior (without chain skill, or modified skill, drowned, downed skills). Ok, warrior have lot of weapons availlable, guardian have 68 skills.
So yeah, basically th esame amount of skill on prophecies and gw2.
Agree that we need more skills, but I don’t think there was more on prophecies when it was released (or until factions, nightfall and gwen), didn’t count but I think there is about the same amount of skill on gw2 than on prophecies.
The thing is on gw we had a double profession, so acces to much more skills.
gw2lfg was better, some people wanted to spam on server and didn’t want to bother on the site, so on the site people was (almost) respectufl about the caracteritic the people wanted.
Now they don’t care, experienced, 80, or some other things, they see the path they want, they join.
So yeah, basically lfg tool is good, if people can read.
Salvaging ectos gives essence of luck, no dark matter.
33% is good. I would prefer the possibility to stack it, 25% with trait + 25% with runes => 33%. Like it was on GW1
It’s called Not So Secret. The chest can drop some unique exo shoulders. It’s a pain, especially passing under the airship. Helps having someone down there clearing the mobs, or logging in an alt. The rest of the mobs can be skipped. 3hrs first run, not too bad.
What shoulder pls ?
It’s “Pièce d’Or”, gold in English.
Anyone with a warrior/mes/guardian alt will tell you awful the current state of ranger is. It’s a joke.
The joke it’s people who use LB and brown bear and stay at max range without mooving.
I do 4k AA with my sword, a little less than 2k with my SB, some people do more because they run a more optimal build than me, but you have to learn how to play and dodge, it’s not like warrior wich you can make mistake and nobody notice, it’s not like mesmer wich you can make portal and pink bubble and everybody is happy, you bring precision to your groupe, you bring about 10%+ dmg 70% of the time, and nobody notices it because they have all in mind ranger= LB + brown bear and that sucks. They’re right, but because of people like that, other players can’t see how ranger is, and how good he could be with the person who can master it.
Thanks for the guide, I was playing a 30/30/50/5 build before patch too, and decide to go with 10 in WS, and this guide gave me some good ideas.
Just one thing about Vigorous Renewal, it’s not so amazing imo, agree that vigor is quite amazing, but with Natural Vigor you got with the minor trait, vigor will still bring endurance regeneration to 200%, but we already have 150% endurance regeneration, and since Vigorous Renewal and Natural Vigor don’t stack (and correct me if I’m wrong, maybe I am) we just take +50% with this trait, still good yea, but I think we don’t take full advantage of that, but as you said, Wilderness Knowledge is also really a great trait.
Hello, with the crafting update and discovery, I can’t see all my master chef items because there is only 40 slot in discovery and I have more than 60 item. So I can’t use some of them, event if I put them in my inventory.
Is there a solution to use them ?
Thanks
