You need people with raid mastery in your group in order to do the escort. Raiders don’t group with raid noobs.

Yes, there are raid training guilds out there, but they are for people genuinely wanting to start raiding, not for unlocking raid mastery bars.

Besides, the point remains. The exp bar is locked behind an activity that Anet specifically wanted to be done by only a small minority of players.

Yeah like you can’t find an escort goup with low or no requirements, or some friends to pug with.
You don’t need raid mastery to do escort, I don’t have it and I’m doing fine, the only thing you need is 3 people with ley line gliding for the up part.

Either they’re going to realize that you’re a terrible player on the first pull, or you’ll be at least average like everyone else and they don’t really have a reason to kick you besides they hate your class.(Or you joined a group looking for a class besides what you have)

Most of the times I’ve pugged with a couple of known friends, we simply ask to ping insights without setting a number. The number is determined by the boss/wing we’re doing. Usually 30 for experienced SV, 40-50 for SP (Spirit quest tonic added bonus with fewer insights), and higher for SotF. I actually don’t meet all of those requirements myself (I have 48 insights with all bosses defeated), but I’ve more than proven to the groups I run with that I’m consistent and thorough with mechanics.

You can ping up to 255 for an item if you play with code.

LI check is stupid, some guy with 50 LI maybe killed 50 VG, some other guy with 40 may have done all 3 wings .

When I say “we don’t take Rev”, I talk about my guild.
Because we know the war and eles will do their job, rev can be really helpful in unorganised team comp or pug.
You’ll rarely see an ele stacking fury before a fight, and a lot of PS can do bad rotations, and that’s where your Rev will shine

Jalis is good the the hammers floating around you. But sometimes when a boss is near a wall, it won’t upkeep, if you can position yourself better, keep Jalis, if not Mallyx is a good option for the elite.

But this is assuming you got quickness, if you don’t, I’m not sure Jalis is worth over impossible odds from Shiro.

We don’t take Rev in 5 man comp anymore so didn’t test it much.

Get the recipe for exotic insignias, and stat change your ascended gear into commander stats with the insignia and inscriptions.

You buy the insignia recipe with 50 crystalline ore.

DO NOT BUY ASCENDED RECIPES. Buy the exotic one, ascended insignias are a massive waste of gold not remotely worth it. Stat swapping ascended gear with exotic insignias is far more gold efficient.

Thief harder to play than Ele or Engi ? Is this April’s Fool or something ?
If you’re standing there with Ele and Engi, your problem is definetely a learn to play issue.

Thief is about positionning, don’t get me wrong, I love thief, but there is almost no rotation.
Ele and Engi are about rotations, you’re not good throwing grenades at max range. If you thinkl you play well those classes and find thief harder, you have a lot to learn.

And with thief in open world, Invigorating precision = easy win.

If you want exotic from dungeon, your only choice is berserker.
Condi set is very good for raid and high levels fractals, and you can get exotic viper pieces by completing the HoT storyline (you’ll get a choice of box, viper is one of them).
If you want a heal set, it’s Zealot, and you’ll need to craft it.

Don’t be that kind of guy with toughness.

They gave money back for people thatt bought the game few months before HoT release.

You get the recipe, and you can talk to the NPC again to unlock the second collection.
The recipe and the new collection aren’t bound, so you can use the recipe and start the collection.

I’ve been trying to complete the third collection for Rodgort flame.
The problem is that I need to kill a veteran jungle stalker with a torch that I can find in Frostgorge Sound, wich according to wiki, can’t be found there.
